Week 5 alweer en de "Blossoming butterfly" is aan de beurt.

Ik heb de tekening met potlood op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Karin brushmarkers pro.

I have made my drawing with a pencil on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. I have traced the drawing with a black fineliner and then I coloured the drawing with my Karin brushmarkers pro.

Whimsy stamps - Hugs & kisses

Hallo, vandaag plaats ik weer een nieuwe kaart voor Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik een kaart gemaakt met het bijtje met de bloem van de set Bee happy (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de vleugels van het bijtje gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. 

Op een witte kaart heb ik roze geruit papier van het Mix-n-match 1 paperpack van Whimsy stamps geplakt nadat ik daar eerst een wit lintje omheen heb gebonden. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) van Whimsy stamps een rechthoek gestanst. Hierop heb ik met Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt. Daarna heb ik met dezelfde inkt de Speckled background rubber cling (DBB0070) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld op het rechthoek. Ik heb het rechthoek daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik een tekst van de set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) van Whimsy stamps op de kaart gestempeld. 

Hello, today I am posting a new card for Whimsy stamps. This time I have made a card with the cute bee with the flower from the set Bee happy (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have coloured the wings of the bee with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. I have fussy cut the image. 

On a white card I have glued pink gingham paper from the Mix-n-match 1 paperpack from Whimsy stamps after I tied a white ribbon around it. I have cut a rectangle from white cardstock with the Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) from Whimsy stamps. I used a blending brush to make a background on it with Tumbled glass distress ink. I used the same ink to stamp the Speckled background rubber cling (DBB0070) from Whimsy stamps on the rectangle and then I glued it with foamtape on my card. I added the image also with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) from Whimsy stamps on the card.

Week 4 - Fishing frog

De opdracht van week 4 is een vissende kikker. Mijn kikkertje is lekker aan het vissen op de rand van een grote vissenkom. Ik ben benieuwd of hij een visje gaat vangen.

Ik heb de tekening met potlood op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Karin brushmarkers pro. 

Week 4 - Fishing frog

The assignment for week 4 is a fishing frog. My little frog really enjoys fishing on the edge of this large fishing bowl. I wonder how many fish he is going to catch.

Di's digi designs challenge - Use your scraps/stash

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag dat je restjes papier of andere dingen uit je voorraad gebruikt op je kaart. Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de afbeelding Puppy pal van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met 2 geschulpte vierkanten die ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 van Crealies uit wit karton heb gestanst. Hierop heb ik mijn restje design papier geplakt. Ik heb hiervoor een reste gebruikt dat ik nog over had van een heel oud vel design papier van Doodlebug uit 2002. Helaas staat de naam niet meer op het papier. Ik heb het papier gesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies en nadat ik er witte seambinding omheen heb gebonden heb ik het papier op mijn kaart geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies heb ik een geschulpte cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Uit hetzelfde witte karton heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies een cirkel gestanst. Ik heb de cirkels op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik ze met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb met een blending brush een achtergrond op de kaart gemaakt met Candied apple Distress inkt en daarop heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape geplakt. Naast de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we want to see your scraps and other old stuff from your stash. I have made a card with the image Puppy pal from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. 

I have made a card with 2 scalloped squares that I have cut from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 from Crealies. I have used very old patterned paper from Doodlebug on my card. The sign on the back of the paper tells me it is from 2002 and I had still a little part of it left. I have cut a square from it with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. I have tied white seam binding around it and then I glued it on the card. I have cut a scalloped circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies from white cardstock. I have cut another circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies and I glued it on top of the scalloped circle. I have glued the circles with foamtape on the card and made a background on the circle with Candied apple Distress ink. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment (hurray) from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the circle.

Whimsy stamps - Could you BEE any sweeter?!

Hallo, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje voor Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik een mini kaartje gemaakt dat heel goed past in de kleine zwarte envelopjes van Kimya verpakkingen die ik op de kreadoe heb gekocht. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met één van de schattige afbeeldingen van de set Bee happy (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. De vleugels van de bijtjes heb ik gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Ik heb een klein kaartje gemaakt van geel karton. Ik heb een rechthoek uit zwart karton gesneden en daarop heb ik met Versamark inkt de Speckled background rubber cling (DBB0070) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld, die ik daarna geembost heb met witte embossingpoeder. Met een stans van de set Slimline card builder die van Whimsy stamps heb ik een ovaal uit wit karton gestanst en die heb ik op het kaartje geplakt. Ik heb daarna de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. 

Hello, today I am posting a new card for Whimsy stamps. This time I made a mini card for one of the black envelopes from Kimya verpakkingen. I have made a card with one of the cute images from the set Bee happy (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have coloured the wings of the bees with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I have fussy cut the images.

I have made my mini card from yellow cardstock. I have cut a rectangle from black cardstock and I stamped a background on it with Versamark ink and the Speckled background rubber cling (DBB0070) from Whimsy stamps. I have embossed the image with white embossingpowder and then I glued it on the card. With a die from the set Slimline card builder die from Whimsy stamps I have cut an oval from white cardstock and glued it on the card. Then I glued the image on the card.

Binnen in het kaartje heb ik een tekst van de set Bizzy bees (clear stamp) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld, omdat deze zo leuk past bij de afbeelding van de lieve bijtjes.

Inside the card I have stamped a sentiment from the set Bizzy bees (clear stamp) from Whimsy stamps, because it is really perfect for the sweet bees image.

Skillshare - Brenda Bakker - Create sketchy doodles in procreate

Hallo, ik wil al een hele tijd leren tekenen op de ipad met behulp van het programma Procreate. Ik zie bij heel veel mensen zulke leuke dingen voorbij komen en dat wil ik ook graag eens proberen. Ik had al wel het programma gekocht, maar ik had nog geen apple pencil aangeschaft omdat ik op mijn ipad alleen het eerste generatie pencil kon gebruiken. Toen een tijdje geleden mijn ipad ineens kapot ging, heb ik een nieuwe gekocht en toen ik mooi meteen de tweede generatie apple pencil erbij kopen. Ik heb al wat video's erover gekeken op youtube en Skillshare en zo al wat dingen geleerd, maar het is nog wel even puzzelen wat er allemaal voor functies zijn.

Hello, I have been wanting to learn to draw on my ipad with the help of the app Procreate. I have seen many pretty illustrations on instagram and I really wanted to try it myself. I had purchased the program, but didn't have an apple pencil yet, because I could only use the first generation apple pencil on my ipad. A few weeks ago, my old ipad wasn't working any more, so I purchased a new one and that was the perfect occasion to buy a second generation apple pencil. I have been watching some video's about procreate on youtube and skillshare and I am still very confused about all the different options that are available in the program. 

Ik kwam op Skillshare een hele leuke cursus tegen van Brenda Bakker, een echte Procreate expert en die heb ik gevolgd. Tijdens de cursus Create sketchy doodles in procreate leer je op een losse en speelse manier tekenen. Heel erg leuk om te doen! De opdrachten werden heel duidelijk uitgelegd. Ik post vandaag de vaas en de kerstboom die ik tijdens de cursus heb gemaakt. Ik heb de kerstman ook gemaakt, maar die was niet helemaal mooi geworden, dus die ga ik nog eens over doen. Ik heb zelf ook nog twee eigen tekeningen gemaakt van bloemen en een tulp. 

On Skillshare I found a really great class from Brenda Bakker, a real Procreate expert and I have followed it. During the class Create sketchy doodles in procreate you learn to draw in a very loose and playful style. I really loved it! Brenda's explanations are really clear and easy to follow. Today I am posting the vase and christmas tree, that I made during the class. I also did the santa drawing, but I am not happy with it, so I am going to do that one again. I also made 2 extra drawings, the flowers and the tulip.

Week 3 - Lemonade ladybird

Voor week 3 is de opdracht: limonade en lieveheersbeestjes. Het limonadeglas is niet helemaal goed gelukt wat perspectief betreft. ;) Volgende keer maar iets beter mijn best daarop doen.

As you like it challenge 256 - Your favourite flower

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Lili of the valley. Deze keer willen we graag weten wat je favoriete bloem is. Ik ben erg gek op klaprozen en cosmea bloemen. Vorige week heb ik al een kaartje voor Ayli gemaakt met een klaproos en dus heb ik deze keer voor de cosmea gekozen. Ik vind ze er gewoon erg leuk uitzien en wilde ze al lang zelf eens tekenen. Door deze challenge heb ik dat eindelijk eens gedaan.

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time our challenge is being sponsored by Lili of the valley. This time we want to know what your favourite flower is. I really love poppies and cosmos flowers. Last week I made a card with a poppy for the ayli challenge, so this week I decided to use the cosmos. I really love the look of these flowers and I wanted to draw one myself for a long time. This challenge was the perfect excuse to really do it! 

Afgelopen vrijdag ben ik naar de kreadoe geweest in Utrecht. Ik heb daar zwarte enveloppen 7x10 cm van Kimya creatieve verpakkingen gekocht. Het leek me heel leuk om daar kleine kaartjes voor te maken met daarop mooie bloemen getekend met zwarte fineliners. Het past dus ook nog perfect bij het thema van deze challenge. Ik heb op Pixabay gezocht naar mooie foto's van cosmea bloemen en daarop heb ik mijn tekeningen gebaseerd. Ik heb de kaartjes gesneden uit wit karton met een mooie structuur en daarna heb ik de schets gemaakt met potlood. Daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen overgetrokken met zwarte fineliners. Met een zwarte copic marker heb ik kleine spatjes op het kaartje aangebracht.

Last friday I visited a large kraft fair in Utrecht. On the fair i have bought little black envelopes 7x10 cm from Kimya creatieve verpakkingen. I had the idea to make little cards for these with pretty flowers drawings done with fineliners. It is also perfect for this week challenge. I have looked for some inspiration pictures on Pixabay and used those as an inspiration for my cards. I have cut the little cards from white cardstock with a nice structure. I made the sketches with a pencil and then I traced them with black fineliners. I added little paint splatters with a black copic marker. 

Om de kaartjes af te maken heb ik twee verschillende teksten van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions op de kaartjes gestempeld.

To finish the cards I have stamped 2 different sentiment (get well and thank you) from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the cards.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje voor Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de afbeelding Elfie (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb uit roze karton een groot vierkant gesneden. Hierop heb ik door verschillende cirkels van de set Boho basic stitches die set van Whimsy stamps een aantal keren te stanzen een achtergrond gemaakt voor mijn afbeelding. Ik heb hier wit borduurgaren omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik het roze karton met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding ook met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de Hello word and shadow die set van Whimsy stamps heb ik het woord hello drie keer uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb de letters op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik het woord hello links op de kaart geplakt.

I have cut a large square from pink cardstock. I made a background on it with a couple of circle dies from the set Boho basic stitches die set from Whimsy stamps. I cut them a couple of times on the square. I have tied white embroidery thread around the pink square and then I glued it with foamtape on a white card. I also used foamtape to glue the image on the card. I have cut the word hello three times from white cardstock with the Hello word and shadow die set from Whimsy stamps. I have glued the letters on top of each other and then I glued the word on the left side of the card.

Goedemorgen, het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag knoopjes, brads en/of strikjes op je kaartje zien. Ik heb een verjaardagskaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bouquet peony bear van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb aan de onderkant van een stuk wit karton een leuk randje gestanst met de Scallop border dies van Pretty pink posh. Op de onderkant van een witte kaart heb ik daarna roze stipjespapier van het Positive vibes paperpad van Craft sensations geplakt. Ik heb daarna het witte karton met de sierrand met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Naast de afbeelding heb ik de tekst gefeliciteerd van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld. Met de Punch die buttons (CR1480) van Marianne design heb ik 2 kleine knoopjes uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb er een klein strikje van wit borduurgaren in gemaakt en ze daarna op de kaart geplakt.

I have made a birthday card with the digital stamp Bouquet peony bear from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. 

On the bottom of a sheet of white cardstock I have cut a border with the Scallop border dies from Pretty pink posh. I have glued pink dotted paper from the Positive vibes paperpad from Craft sensations on the bottom of a white card and then I added the white cardstock with the pretty border with foamtape on the card. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the card. I have cut 2 little buttons with the Punch die buttons (CR1480) from Marianne design from white cardstock and glued those on the card. I have added a little bow from white embroidery thread.
