Vandaag heb ik meegedaan aan de Limited supplies challenge op Splitcoaststampers. De "regeltjes" zijn voor deze week:

Voor mijn kaartje heb ik het kikkertje uit het setje Froggie and friends van C.C. designs gebruikt. Ik heb het stempeltje gemaskerd en zo het feesthoedje op het hoofdje van de kikker geplaatst. De kikker is uitgesneden met cirkel nestabilities. Ik heb de kikker gekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Op het hoedje heb ik wat glitter aangebracht met een clear spica glitter pen. Voor de achtergrond heb ik rose cardstock genomen en dat in drieën gesneden en geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Ik heb de tekst met de computer gemaakt. Als laatste heb ik nog twee rose hotfix steentjes op mijn cirkel geplakt.

For my card I used the little frog from the set Froggie and friends from C.C.designs. I masked the head of the frog and added his little partyhat. I colored it with derwent pencils and OMS. I added some glitter to the partyhat with my clear spica glitter pen. I used pink cardstock for my background and cut that in three parts. I embossed the three parts with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The sentiment was computer generated. As a final touch I added two little pink hotfix stones.

A very merry christmas

Voor dit kaartje was geinspireerd door een kaartje op de clean and simple blog. Ik heb voor mijn kaartje een afbeelding van boompjes van Pink Petticoat gebruikt. De boompjes zijn ingekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden en geurloze terpentine. Op de rode deeltjes zit glitter van de spica clear glitter pen. Het groene papier is van papicolor.

For this card I was inspired by a card on the clean and simple blog. I used for my card an image from Pink Petticoat. I colored the trees with derwent and caran d'ache pencils and OMS. I added glitter with the spica clear glitter pen. The green paper is from papicolor.

No patterned paper

Ik had weer tijd om mee te doen aan de Penny Black saturday challenge. Deze week mag je geen designpapier gebruiken. Nou doe ik dit sowieso al bijna nooit, dus dat is geen probleem. :) Ik heb ook niet vals gespeeld door zelf een design papiertje te maken. Ik heb voor het kaartje de sketch van de friday sketchers gevolgd. Ik heb voor een stempeltje uit het clear stempelsetje Bubbly van Penny Black gekozen. Aangezien ik momenteel veel kerstkaarten plaats en ik heel veel rood en wat minder rose heb gebruikt wilde ik nu even hele andere kleuren gebruiken dan ik normaal doe. Ik weet nog niet echt wat ik ervan moet vinden. :) De poes is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. De afbeelding en ook de laagjes eronder zijn uitgesneden met vierkante nestabilities. Op het blauw vierkant heb ik wat gedoodled met een zwarte glaze pen. Het blauwe stripje is geëmbost met de tiny bubbles folder van cuttlebug.

I had some time to enter in the Penny Black saturday challenge. This week you are not allowed to use patterned paper. I hardle ver use any design paper, so that wasn't a real problem. :) I didn't cheat because I also didn't make my own design paper, like I normally do. For my card I followed a sketch from the friday sketchers. I have chosen a stamp from the Penny black set Bubbly. I didn't want to use pink or red because those colors are in almost all my christmas cards, so I chose some colors that I normally don't use very often. I am not sure what I think about it. :)I colored the cat with derwent pencils and OMS. I cut the image and the other layers with square nestabilities. I doodled a bit on the blue square with a black glaze pen. I embossed the blue strip with the tiny buubles embossing folder from cuttlebug.

Prettige feestdagen!

Dit kaartje is nagemaakt van een kaartje van Michelle. Ik heb voor mijn kaartje het kikkertje van het stempelsetje Holly day critters van Penny Black gebruikt. De kikker is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb op het mutsje glitter gebruikt met de spica clear glitter pen. De tekst is geprint op wit papier en op de kaart geplakt.

Tweede spinnerkaartje

En dit is dan weer het tweede spinnerkaartje voor de HJ van deze maand. Dit is eigenlijk niet het kaartje dat in de HJ staat, maar het oorspronkelijke kaartje dat ik wilde maken. Ik kon alleen mijn sheets even niet vinden dus het kaartje dat gepubliceerd is, is gemaakt van wit cardstock in plaats van een sheet.
Ik heb van de sheet een kaart gesneden. Ik heb er sneeuwsterren van Elzybells op gestempeld met witte stazon inkt. Op een strookje karton heb ik de tekst geprint. Uit een stukje zwart-wit gestippeld karton heb ik een baantje voor de spinner gesneden. Ik heb twee strookjes oranje karton geknipt met een figuurschaar en deze heb ik onder het zwart-witte stippen geplakt. De pinguin is een stempeltje van Elzybells. Het snaveltje en de voetjes zijn gekleurd met een oranje derwent potlood. In de kaart zit ook een strook papier zodat het plakband waarmee het papier op de buitenkant is geplakt niet meer te zien is.

And this is my second card for the hobbyjournaal (dutch craft magazine) from this month. Actually this isn't the card that was published, but this is the card that I wanted to make in the first place. I couldn't find my sheets, so I made the card that was published from white cardstock.
When I found my sheets, I made this card. I cut a card from the sheets. I stamped snowstars from Elzybells on it with white stazon ink. I printed the sentiment (happy christmas and a happy new year) on a strip of white cardstock. I cut a small strip out of black and white dotted paper. I cut with shaped scissors a scalloped edge on two strips of orange cardstock. The little penguin is a stamp from Elzybells. I colored the beak and his feet with an orange derwent pencil. On the inside of the card I added a strip of white cardstock, so you can't see how I sticked the cardstock on the outside of the card.

These boots are made for walking....

En ook deze maand moest ik weer 2 spinnerkaartjes maken voor het hobbyjournaal. De eerste is een babykaartje geworden. Ik heb op een wit kaartje een babietje van Eline Pellinkhof gestempeld. Ik heb alleen het hoofdje ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Het kussentje en de kleertjes zijn ge-paperpieced. Ik heb een stukje rood effen papier gebruikt voor het kussen en het broekje en wit papier met een klein bloemetje voor het truitje. Ik heb een strip rood papier aan de bovenkant van de kaart geplakt nadat ik er met een figuur schaar een scallop randje aan had geknipt. Er zit een wit grosgrain lintje overheen met een klein strikje. Voor het spinnergedeelte aan de onderkant heb ik een stukje rood-wit gestipt papier genomen en daar heb ik het baantje uitgesneden. De tekst is op de kaart geprint. Ik heb van fimoklei twee hele kleine schoentjes gemaakt. Een lekker prutswerkje aangezien ze kleiner zijn dan een paperclip. :) Op de voorkant heb ik een klein hartje van witte fimoklei geplakt. De vetertjes in de schoenen zijn gemaakt van naaigaren. De schoentjes zitten op een scallop rondje geplakt.
Voor de jongens heb ik ook alvast schoenen gemaakt. Het zijn All stars geworden van blauwe en witte fimoklei. Op de zijkant zit een wit sterretje van klei. ;)



This month I had to make 2 more spinnercards again for the dutch craft magazine. The first one is a babycard. I stamped on a white card the image of a baby from Eline Pellinkhof. I colored the head of the baby with derwent pencils and OMS. I paperpieced the pillow and the clothes of the baby. I used a piece of red paper for the pillow and the trousers and white paper with tiny flowers for the shirt. I cut with scissors a scallop border on a strip of red paper that I used on the card. I added a white grosgrain ribbon with a little bow. For the spinnerpart I used a red-white dotted paper. I first printed the sentiment: Hurray a girl! on the card. I used fimoclay for the little shoes. They are really tiny, smaller than a paperclip. :) I added a little heart from white fimoclay on the front of the shoes. the shoe-laces are made from sewing-thread.
I also made some shoes for the boys. I made them some All stars from white and blue fimo clay. I added a white star to the shoe. ;)

Cuttlebug boompjes

Voor dit kerstkaartje heb ik uit groen papicolor papier twee boompjes gesneden met het stansje: Tree tops van de cuttlebug. Ik heb de boompjes versierd met rode hotfix steentjes. Ik had eerst de tekst op de kaart geprint. Om de kaart af te maken heb ik een rood lint om de bovenkant gedaan.

For this christmas card I cutted the 2 trees from green papicolor paper. I used the Tree tops from Cuttlebug. I decorated the trees with red hotfix stones. I first printed my sentiment on the card. I finally added a red ribbon.

Merry, merry christmas

Een tijdje geleden kwam ik dit kaartje tegen op internet en ik heb er nu mijn eigen versie van gemaakt voor de kerst. Ik heb met de computer het gestippelde rondje gemaakt. In het rondje heb ik wat boompjes van Pink Petticoat van O christmas tree geplaatst. De boompjes zijn gekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Ik heb met rood lint een strik gemaakt.

A while ago I saw this cute card and now I made my own version for christmas. I made with my computer a dotted circle on my card. Within the circle I added a few trees from Pink Petticoat from the O christmas tree. I colored the trees with derwent pencils and OMS. I made a bow from a red ribbon.

Forever friends kerst

Een tijdje geleden heb ik deze stempel van forever friends gekocht en ik wist al meteen wat voor kaartje ik er mee wilde maken. :) Ik heb een trifold kaart gemaakt. Op de voorkant heb ik met behulp van mijn nestabilities een soort raam gemaakt. Ik heb de stempel aan de binnenkant geplakt zodat je ze weer net door het het raampje ziet. De voorkant van de kaart is versierd met een paar sticker sterretjes. Ik heb de slit punch gebruikt om de kaart te sluiten en ik heb een gaatje gemaakt met mijn gaatjes tang. Ik heb er een wit strikje aan vast gemaakt. De stempel is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Ik heb wat glitter toegevoegd aan de afbeelding met een spica clear glitter pen.

A while ago I bought this cute stamp from Forever friends and I now immediately what kind of card I wanted to make with it. :) I made a trifold card. I made a kind of window with my nestabilities on the front of the card. I used my stamp on the inside of the card, so you can see it through the window. I decorated the front of the card with some peel off stars. I used my slit punch to close the card. I punched a hole and added a bow from white ribbon. I colored the stamp with derwent pencils and OMS. I added some glitter with my spica clear glitter pen.

Rendier

Ik vond dit rendier zo'n schatje dat ik hem wel moest hebben voor een leuk kerstkaartje! :) Hij komt uit het setje Santa Claus van de Ollie stempels van Nellie Snellen. Ik heb hem ingekleurd met derwent potloden en geurloze terpentine. Op de witte randjes van zijn muts is glitter aangebracht met een clear spica pen. Hij lag al helemaal klaar om op mijn kaartje geplakt te worden, toen mijn moeder zo lief was om mijn drinken omver te gooien en het arme beest bijna te verdrinken. :( Gelukkig was de inkt watervast en is er helemaal niets uitgelopen. We konden hem gelukkig drogen met een fohn en toen kon hij toch nog op mijn kaartje. :) Ik heb voor de kaart een eerdere kaart van mezelf nagemaakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik groene stippen geprint. Op het groene stripje is de tekst geprint en deze is los op de kaart geplakt. De onderrand van de voorkant van de kaart is geknipt met een grote scallop schaar.

I thought this reindear was so cute that I had to have him for a nice christmas card! :) He is from the set Santa Claus from the Ollie stamps from Nellie Snellen. I colored him with derwent pencils and OMS. I added glitter with a clear spica glitter pen to the white parts of the hat. When he was ready to put on my card, my mum was so sweet to through a drink over him and he almost drowned. :( Luckily I used permanent ink and the image didn't bleed. After some drying I still could use him for my card. :) I used a layout for the card that I used before. I printed the green dots on the card. The sentiment (happy christmas) was printed on the green strip of paper and I glued the strip on the card. I cut the front of the card with big scallopd scissors.
