Crazy 4 challenges - Polka dot fun!

Vandaag heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Crazy 4 challenges. Ze willen deze week polkadots op je kaartje zien. Nou dat is geen enkel probleem, want ik ben gek van stipjes (maar dat hadden jullie waarschijnlijk al gemerkt). Op mijn kaartje heb ik een digitale stempel van het nieuwe Bugaboo stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de aap gekleurd met derwent potloden. De oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities en met een zwarte fineliner heb ik wat stipjes en streepjes gedoodled. De tekst is een stempeltje van Lily of the valley. En ook hieromheen heb ik stipjes gedoodled met een zwarte fineliner. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik een oude sketch van de friday sketchers gebruikt. Ik vond hem erg leuk, maar had die week helaas geen tijd om mee te doen, maar omdat de sketch zo leuk is, heb ik hem nu alsnog gebruikt. Rondom de kaart en de stipjes vlakken heb ik ook nog streepjeslijnen getrokken met een zwarte fineliner.

Today I have made this card for the challenge from Crazy 4 challenges. They would love to see polkadots. Well that is no problem, because I love dots (but I think you already may have noticed that). On my card I used a digital stamp from a new stamp company: Bugaboo stamps. I have coloured the monkey with derwent pencils. I have coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the circle nestabilities and I used a black fineliner to doodle some dots and faux stitching. The sentiment is a stamp from Lily of the valley. I used an old sketch from the Friday sketchers blog on my card. I liked it so much, that I wanted to use it now. I did some more faux stitching on the card.

Penny Black - Happy new year!

Vandaag heb ik weer eens meegedaan aan een challenge van de Penny Black saturday challenge blog. Ik ben gek op Penny Black stempels maar door de drukke tijd kwam het er maar niet van om weer eens mee te doen aan de challenges. Voor vandaag is het thema: Happy new year en bij de Secret crafter saturday challenge vragen ze ook om New beginnngs. Dus dat kwam heel mooi uit! ;) Dit schattige muisje van de Penny Black clear set Bubbly is perfect voor een nieuwjaarskaartje. Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld op creme linnenpapier en daarna ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Het bubbeltje op de neus van de muis heb ik gekleurd met de clear spica glitter pen. De afbeelding heb ik uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. De scallop ovaal is uit bruin glitterpapier gesneden. Het kaartje heeft het formaat van 10 bij 10 centimeter. Uit het bruine glitterpapier heb ik een strook gesneden met een figuurschaar en hier overheen heb ik een cremekleurig lintje gedaan met een strikje. De tekst is weer een stempel uit de Kimmie's holiday sentiments. Ik heb hier ook het bruine glitterpapier onder gedaan. De foto is helaas niet heel mooi. Het lukt niet om een mooiere te krijgen met dit donkere weer.

Today I made a card for the Penny Black saturday challenge. I love the stamps from Penny Black, but I haven't played with the challenges for a while because off all the christmas preparations. Todays theme for the challenge is Happy New Year and at the Secret crafter saturday challenge they are asking for New beginnnings. So I have combined these challenges and made a card! ;) This cute little mouse from the Penny Black clear stamp set Bubbly is perfect for a new year card. I have stamped it on creme coloured paper with a linen structure and I coloured it with my derwent pencils. The image was cut out with my oval nestabilities. The scalloped oval was cut out of darg brown glitter paper. My card is very little, only 10 by 10 centimeter. I have cut a strip out of the brown glitter paper and cut it with my scalloped scissors. I added a creme coloured ribbon and bow on top of that. The sentiment is from Kimmie's holiday sentiments. Unfortunately the picture isn't that great. I can't get a better picture with this dark weather.

Ik heb vandaag lekker eerst uitgeslapen en daarna ben ik heerlijk aan het knutselen gegaan. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt voor de All that Scraps weekly wednesday challenge blog. De afbeelding die ik op mijn kaartje heb gebruikt is July kiki van CC. designs, echt perfect voor een nieuwjaarskaartje! Kiki is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en op haar vleugels heb ik glitter gebruikt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik de stipjes op haar wangen getekend. Ik heb nog een paar zwarte hotfix steentjes geplaatst naast de afbeelding. Op een witte kaart heb ik eerst de rose stippen geprint. Ook het streepjes- en sterrenpapier heb ik geprint. De tekst komt uit een teksten stempelset van Kraftin Kimmie stamps. Ik heb voor de tekst de Stampin Up! word window punch gebruikt. De randjes van het labeltje heb ik bewerkt met rose inkt van Memento. Ik heb voor mijn kaart een sketch van Dawny van de Papertake weekly challenge gevolgd. Ik heb de tekst alleen op een andere plek geplaatst, want dat paste beter op mijn kaart.

Today I first slept in and after that I had some lovely crafting time. I have made a card for the All that Scraps weekly wednesday challenge. You have to make a newyears card for their challenge. The image I used on my card is from CC. designs: July kiki and it is perfect for a new years card. Kiki was coloured with derwent pencils and I have added some glitter on her wings. I used a white gelpen to draw the dots on her cheeks. I have places a few black hotfix stones next to the image. I have printed the pink dots on a white card. The striped and star paper were also printed. The sentiment is from a stampset from kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I used the Stampin Up! word window punch to punch it out. I have sponged the edges of that little tag with pin ink from Memento. I have followed a sketch from Dawny from the Papertake weekly challenge blog for my card. I have only placed the sentiment on another place, because that looked better on my card.

Babysokjes

Ik heb deze doosjes al een tijdje geleden gemaakt, maar ik kwam erachter dat ik ze nooit op mijn blog heb gepost. Nu is het dan toch eindelijk zover. Het ontwerp voor de luciferdoosjes heb ik zelf gemaakt zodat de babysokjes die ik erin heb gestopt precies passen. Voor de "huls" heb ik blauw en rose streepjes papier gebruikt. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt zijn digitale stempels van de lieve Eline Pellinkhof babies die je kunt kopen bij Squigglefly. Ik heb bouncing bundle ingekleurd met derwent potloden en op rose en blauw stipjes papier heb ik de afbeelding nog eens geprint zodat ik de kleertjes kon paperpiecen. Zo past alles perfect bij elkaar. Ik heb een paar zwarte hotfix steentjes als knoopjes op de kleertjes gebruikt. De oogjes heb ik zoals gewoonlijk gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Op de bovenkant heb ik verder alleen nog wat witte bloemetjes geplakt ter versiering.

I made these two boxes a while ago, but I never posted them on my blog. I have made the design for the boxes myself, so the boxes are the perfect size for the babysocks that are inside. I used blue and pink striped paper for the cover of the boxes. The image I used is a digital stamp from Eline Pellinkhof, that you can get at Squigglefly. Bouncing bundle was coloured with derwent pencils and I have printed the image again on blue and pink dotted paper, so I could paperpiece the clothes. This way everything matches perfectly! I used black hotfix stones as buttons on the clothes. As always I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. I decorated the box with a few white flowers.

De sokjes heb ik verpakt in folie en daarna heb ik er nog een strikje van wit satijn lint opgeplakt.

I have wrapped the babysocks in transparant foil and I have added a little bow from white satin ribbon.

Op de zijkant van de doosjes heb ik dit labeltje geplakt. Eerst heb ik de tekst geprint en daarna heb ik ze uitgesneden met een stansje van quickutz. Ik heb rechts en links een zwart hotfix steentje geplakt op de labels.

On the side of the box I have added a little label. First I have printed the sentiment (hurray a baby) and then I used my quickutz to cut the labels. I used black hotfix stones on the right and left of the labels.

Het doosje waar de sokjes in zitten is gemaakt van geruit rose en blauw papier. Ik heb er aan één kant een gaatje in gemaakt en daar een touwtje met een wit kraaltje doorheen gedaan, zodat het doosje makkelijk open gedaan kan worden.

The box itself was made from pink and blue paper gingham paper. I made a whole in the box on one side and threaded white cord through it together with a white bead. That way you can open the box very easily.

Cadeau envelop

Hallo allemaal. Kerst is weer voorbij en het was heerlijk om even bij te komen van alle kerstkaarten en december drukte. Ik ben helaas wel grieperig geworden met de kerst en nu nog steeds, dus van mijn plannen om lekker kaarten te maken is helaas niet veel gekomen. Ik ben wel deelnemer geworden van het blog 50 kerstkaarten en met een groepje anderen, gaan we proberen om iedere week tenministe 1 kerstkaart te maken zodat we in december al een flinke stapel kerstkaarten hebben. Ik heb toch nog veel leuke kerststempels nog niet gebruikt, dus dat komt mooi uit. :) Ik heb deze cadeau envelop gemaakt voor de challenge van Elizabeth van Softpencil. Elizabeth maakt hele lieve en mooie digitale stempels en ik heb voor mijn cadeau envelop gekozen voor deze geweldige afbeelding van een tulp. Ik heb mijn tulp ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het gestreepte papier is een download van Pink Petticoat. Ik heb de kleur veranderd in oranje zodat het precies bij mijn tulp past. De tekst is onder de tulp geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met mijn rechthoekige nestabilities. Met het strikje van wit satijn lint wordt de envelop gesloten.

Hi everyone. Christmas is over again and I have enjoyed the past days to realx a bit after all the christgmas/december stress. Unfortunately I did get the flu and I still have it, so I didn't make any cards although that was my original plan. I did become a member of the 50 christmas cards blog and together with a few other people we are going to try to make one christmas card each week, so we will have a couple of cards ready in december. I have made this money wallet for the challenge from Elizabeth/ Softpencil. Elizabeth draws really sweet and beautiful digital images and I have chosen for the tulip. I have coloured the tulip with my derwent pencils. The striped paper is a download from Pink Petticoat. I changed the colour to orange to match with the tulip. I have printed the sentiment (happy birthday) under the image of the tulip and then I have cut the image out with my rectangle nestabilities. The money wallet can be closed with the white ribbon.

Merry christmas!

Rose kerstkaart

En ja hoor...... vandaag heb ik weer een kerstkaart. :) Op dit kaartje heb ik een schattig beertje van Lily of the valley gebruikt. De beer is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Op de rose gedeelyes heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb flower soft gebruikt op de muts zodat het net echte bontrandjes lijken. De ogen en het neusje van de beer heb ik gekleurd met een zwart glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgestanst met de cirkel nestabilities. De tekst is ook een stempeltje van Lily of the valley. Het rose sneeuwsterren papier is een freebie uit de nieuwe shop van Lauren Meader: My time made easy. Door technische problemen is de shop nog even dicht, maar ik had het geluk om nog net dit setje te kunnen downloaden.

Yes today I have another christmas card. :) On my card I used this time a cute bear stamp from Lily of the valley. The bear was coloured with derwent pencils. I have coloured with my clear spica glitter pen on the pink parts. I used white flowersoft on the cap, to make it look like real fur. The eyes and the nose of the bear are coloured with a black glaze pen. After I was done with colouring I used the circle nestabilities to cut the image out. The sentiment is also a stamp from Lily of the valley. The pink snowflake paper is a freebie from the new shop from Lauren Meader: My time made easy. Lauren is having some technical problems right now, so the shop is closed again, but I was lucky enough to download this digital paper.

En nog weer een kerstkaartje!

Dit kaartje heb ik het afgelopen weekend gemaakt. Ik heb op mijn kaart gebruikt van deze geweldige digitale stempel van Mo Manning: Christmas fairy holly. Zoals altijd heb ik hem weer ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Ook heb ik weer gekleurd met mijn clear spica glitter pen, maar dat is niet te zien op de foto. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met mijn cirkel nestabilities. De tekst komt uit een setje kerstteksten van Lily of the valley. Ik heb een kaart uit rood cardstock van doodlebug gesneden. Daar bovenop zit een vierkant met daarop groene stippen geprint.

I have placed a white square on top of the card after I printed green dots on top of it.

Anyone for Anya - Last christmas

Hallo allemaal. Wat een weer vandaag! Het heeft hier vandaag heel erg veel gesneeuwd en ik heb, terwijl ik lekker warm binnen zat, aan nog een paar kerstkaartjes gewerkt. Deze kaart is meteen voor de Anyone for Anya challenge waar ze vragen om een laatste kerstkaart voor dit jaar. Ik kan niet beloven dat dit de laatste voor dit jaar is, maar dat zal niet erg zijn. ;) Op mijn kaartje heb ik de stempel van Elf Anya gebruikt. Anya is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en op haar kleren heb ik ook nog eens gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Na het kleuren heb ik Anya uitgeknipt. Ik heb mijn nestabilities gebruikt om de cirkels te maken. De strip wit papier is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. De zwarte randjes langs deze strip zijn geknipt met een schaar. De tekst komt uit een kerst stempel setje van Studio G. Ik heb nog twee sneeuwsterretjes uitgeponst om de kaart verder te versieren.

Hi everyone. Wow what a weather over here today! It has snowed a lot today and I have, while I was sitting warm and cosy inside, made a couple of christmas cards. This card is for the anyone for Anya challenge where they ask for the last christmas card of this year. I can't promise that this will be my last christmas card, so I hope you don't mind. ;) On my card I used the image of Elf Anya. Anya was coloured with derwent pencils. I have coloured her clothes with a clear spica glitter pen. I cut Anya out after I coloured her. I used my nestabilities for the circles. I have embossed the white strip of paper with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug . I used scissors to make the scalloped edge. The snetiment is from a stamp set from Studio G. I punches two snowflakes to decorate the card.

DU2DS 28 - Christmas card crisis

Goedemorgen allemaal. Vandaag is het weer tijd voor de laatste Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge van dit jaar en deze keer hebben we weer een toepasselijke uitdaging voor de tijd van het jaar, namelijk Christmas card crisis. Voor mij een heel toepasselijke challenge want ik moet nog steeds een paar kerstkaarten maken (ja ik weet....ik ben erg laat:) ). Toen ik deze afbeelding van Chris (Sketchingstamper) zag wist ik meteen voor wie ik hem wilde gebruiken. Dit leuke hondje lijkt op de hond die mijn neven en tante vroeger hadden. Smurf was een hele eigenwijze hond met een sterke eigen wil en ik was helemaal gek van hem. Hij luisterde naar niemand behalve naar mij en mijn opa. ;) Deze kaart is dan ook voor mijn neef. Ik heb de afbeelding een beetje veranderd en de strik weggegumd en daarvoor in de plaats heb ik een echte strik gebruikt. De hond heb ik ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Het bot heb ik groen gekleurd en op het bot heb ik het sterretje gestempeld, zodat het net lijkt alsof het bot in een mooi papiertje is verpakt. De tekst heb ik zelf geprint en die vond ik wel passen bij de afbeelding. Ik heb nog een strip rood-wit gestreept papier achter de afbeelding geplakt en daarop heb ik een paar zwarte hotfix stenen geplakt.

Goodmorning everyone. It is time again for our last Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge of this year and we have the perfect challenge for this time of the year: Christmas card Crisis. It is the perfect challenge for me, because I still need to make some christmas cards ( I know... I am so behind with everything). When I saw this cute dog from Chris (Sketching Stamper), I knew immediately for who I wanted to use it. This nice dog looks exactly like the dog my aunt and cousins used to have. Smurf was a real pigheaded dog with a strong mind of his own and I was crazy about him. He didn't listen to anyone except to me and my grandfather. ;) So this card will be for my cousin. I changed the image a little bit, because I removed a bit of the bow and used a real ribbon bow insted of it. I have coloured the image with my derwent pencils. I have coloured the big bone in green and stamped some stars on it, so it would look like a nice wrapped present. I have printed the sentiment and I thought it was perfect for this image. I have added a strip of red and white striped paper behind the image and decorated that strip with some black hotfix stones.
