Goodmorning, today I have a birthdaycard for someone who is turning 50 to show you today. The fabulous stamp that I used on this card is Cockatoo rules from Papershelter. I colored the image with my pencils and on the sunglasses I colored with a clear glaze pen, but you can barely see that on the picture. I made the word Abraham (Man who turn 50 are called Abraham in Dutch, women are called Sarah) with the Katie alphabet from quickutz. On the computer I made the sentiment circle (congratulations) and I punched it with a circle punch. I wrapped a black yarn around the image panel and adhered the sentiment circle on top of it. I used red design paper on the card.
I want to enter this card in the following challenges:
- A little bit crafty - Anything goes but not christmas
- Animal friends challenge - Anything goes as long as it with an animal
- Cards galore encore - Anything goes

Great card, and I'm learning something new about the Dutch (what's the story behind the Abraham / Sarah names?). Fab colouring, and shading. Love it.

Terrific card. I think it is pretty awesome that you have a special word for turning 50. The biblical Abraham and Sarah certainly did live to be over 50.
