As you like it challenge 246 - My favourite non-traditional christmas colours

Goodmorning. today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this challenge is being sponsored by Lawn fawn. For our challenge this time we want to know what your favourite NON-traditional colours are for a Christmas card. Most of the times I use the traditional colourcombination of red/pink and green, but 2 years ago I saw a Christmas card with the combination of green and orange on kraft paper and I fell in love with it. I really wanted to do something like that myself, because I love how warm it makes the images look, so pretty!

On my card I have combined a couple of images from the Christmas bunnies digital stamp set from Isabel Cristina stamps together. I printed them on a kraft card and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. Then I masked the image and the top 1 cm from the card and coloured the sky with Dried marigold, Carved pumpkin and Crackling campfire Distress ink. Then I added snow with Bleed proof white from Dr. Ph. Martin's, but I did this after the sky was completely dry.

STAMP: Christmas bunnies digital stamp set from Isabel Cristina stamps
COLOURING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils
PAPER: Kraft cs
INK: Dried marigold, Carved pumpkin and Crackling campfire Distress ink
ACCESSORIES: Black glaze pen, White gelpen, Bleed proof white from Dr. Ph. Martin's
