As you like it challenge 213 - Your favourite pet animal

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze challenge worden we gesponsord door Fantastic ribbons. Onze challenge deze keer is dat we graag willen dat je een kaartje maakt met daarop je favoriete huisdier en je moet ons vertellen waarom dat je favoriete huisdier is. Ik ben helaas allergisch, dus ik heb geen huisdieren, maar als het toch zou kunnen zou ik graag een hond willen. Het lijkt me gewoon erg fijn om zo'n trouwe vriend te hebben en er lekker mee te wandelen en knuffelen. Ik heb nog altijd fijne herinneringen aan mijn kleine vriend Smurf (de hond van mijn tante) waar ik vroeger graag mee wandelde als ze bij ons waren. 

Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaartje gemaakt met de clear stempelset Under my umbrella van Clearly besotted stamps. Ik heb het hondje, de paraplu en een aantal wolken gestempeld. Ik heb ze daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Met een witte gelpen heb ik wat kleine accentjes op de afbeeldingen aangebracht. Na het kleuren heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt.

Op een wit kaartje heb ik met behulp van een liniaal een vierkant getekend en daarna heb ik met mijn Polychromos potloden een achtergrond voor mijn afbeelding gemaakt. Op de achtergrond heb ik een aantal regendruppeltjes van de stempelset gestempeld met Lazy day premiuim dye inkt van My favorite things. Als laatste heb ik nog een tekst van de stempelset Under my umbrella van Clearly besotted stamps op mijn kaartje gestempeld.

Our challenge this time to make a card with your favourite pet on it and you have to tell us why this is your favourite pet. Unfortunately I am allergic, so I don't have any pets, but if I would be able to have a pet I would love to have a dog. I think it would be really nice to have a loyal friend to walk and cuddle with. I still cherish the memories of all the walks and cuddle sessions with Smurf (my aunts dog) when they visited when I was young.

For this challenge I have made a card with the clear stampset Under my umbrella from Clearly besotted stamps. I have stamped the little dog, the umbrella and a couple of clouds. I have coloured all the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I used a white gelpen to add some accents on the images. I have fussy cut all the images.

On a white card I have drawn a square with a ruler and my pencils. I have coloured a background for my image with my pencils. I stamped a couple of raindrops on the background with Lazy day premiuim dye ink from My favorite things. I have glued all the images on the card. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set Under my umbrella from Clearly besotted stamps on the card.
