As you like it challenge 195 - His or hers birthday

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Polkadoodles. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever voor mannen of vrouwen een verjaardagskaartje maakt. Over het algemeen maak ik meestal kaarten voor vrouwen, maar nu heb ik er voor gekozen om een verjaardagskaartje voor een klein mannetje te maken. Vandaag wordt mijn neefje Menno namelijk 9 jaar en daar past natuurlijk een kaartje bij. En omdat zijn verjaardag vanwege corona niet normaal gevierd kan worden, heb ik dit jaar gewoon 9 verjaardagskaartjes gestuurd. Ik heb wat oude kaartjes gebruikt en ook wat nieuwe kaarten. Ik hoop dat het op deze manier toch nog een klein feestje wordt!

Menno wordt dit jaar 9 jaar en ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel 9 van de set Numbears van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. De grote 9 heb ik gepaperpieced met regenboog streepjespapier van het Surprise party paperpack van Sunny studio. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Grassy hills die-namics van My favorite things heb ik uit groen design papier van het Polka-dot parade paperpack van Sunny studio een grasrandje gestanst. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton lijntjes getekend. Ik heb het witte karton en de grasrand op een kraft kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb 2 slingers van een velletje design papier van het Surprise party paperpack van Sunny studio uitgeknipt en die heb ik ook nog op de kaart geplakt.

Most of the times I make birthday cards for women, but for this challenge I decided to make a birthday card for a little man. Today my nephew is celebrating his 9th birthday and that is why I needed to make a card for him. And because his birthday  cannot be celebrated in a normal way because of covid, I have decided to send him 9 birthday cards this year. I have used a couple of older cards and also made hime some new cards. I hope he still will enjoy his birthday today.

Menno is celebrating his 9th birthday and I have made a card with the digital 9 stamp from the set Numbears from Lili of the valley. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have paperpieced the big 9 with striped patterned paper from the Surprise party paperpack from Sunny studio. Then I have fussy cut the image. With the Grassy hills die-namics from My favorite things I have die-cut a grass border from green patterned paper from the Polka-dot parade paperpack from Sunny studio. On white cardstock I have made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. With a black fineliner I doodled a line around the edges of the white cardstock. I have glued the white cardstock together with the grass border on a kraft card. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. From a sheet of patterned paper from the Surprise party paperpack from Sunny studio I have fussy cut 2 banners and I glued those on the card.
