As you like it challenge 167 - Stitching

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this week we want to see your favourite way of stitching. I have to admit I like all kinds of stiching on cards. I have lots of dies with stitched edges. When I have a lot of time I like to add stitching with a needle and thread. For this challenge I decided to go for the stitching that I have done probably the most: Faux stitching with a fineliner. I just love the look of it, it gives something special on your card.

On my card I have used the digital stamp Poinsettia mouse from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have fussy cut the image. I have drawn a stitched frame on a white card with a black fineliner. I glued the image with foamtape inside the frame. Inside the frame I stamped a sentiment (Happy christmas) from the set Handletter woorden - Kerst from Craft emotions inside the frame with Versafine clair Nocturne ink. I glued 4 black hotfix gems inside the corners of the frame.

STAMP: Poinsettia mouse from Di's digi stamps, Handletter woorden - Kerst from Craft emotions
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils
PAPER: White cs
INK: Versafine clair Nocturne
ACCESSORIES: Black glaze pen, black fineliner, black hotfix gems
