As you like it challenge 153 - Your favourite colouring medium

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag zien dat je je favoriete kleurmedium gebruikt op je kaart. Hoewel ik af en toe wel eens met een ander kleurmedium kleur, gebruik ik bijna altijd mijn potloden voor al mijn kleurwerk. Toen ik begon met het inkleuren van stempels heb ik voor potloden gekozen en ik vind het na al die jaren nog steeds een erg fijn middel om te gebruiken. Ik vind het leuk dat je iets heel licht kunt inkleuren maar door veel laagjes aan te brengen, kan je ook erg fel inkleuren.

Een tijdje geleden heb ik deze kaart gemaakt en toen ik deze aan het maken was, heb ik meteen een aantal extra dieren gestempeld en nu heb ik die eindelijk gebruikt op dit kaartje. De dieren komen uit de stempelset Peek-a-boo pals van Avery elle. Ik heb de dieren ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik alle dieren uitgknipt. Ik heb de feestmutsjes ook noo gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Uit een stuk kraft papier heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies een aantal cirkels uitgestanst. Ik heb op een witte kaart de verschillende cirkels afgeplakt met maskerpapier en daarna heb ik met Abandoned coral, Mowed lawn, Spiced marmelade en Blueprint sketch Distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt voor de dieren. Ik heb vervolgens het kraft papier met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik alle dieren met foamtape in de cirkels geplakt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik een aantal teksten van de set Labeled messages van Mama elephant gestempeld en deze heb ik uitgeknipt. Ik heb de teksten naast de dieren op de kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik in de cirkels kleine sterretjes van de set You're a treat van Neat and tangled gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Als laatste heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een lijntje langs de randen van het kraft papier getekend.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we want you to use your favourite colouring medium on your card. Although I sometimes use another colouring medium, I colour most of the times with my pencils. When I started with colouring stamps, I started with pencils and since then I have always used them. I love that you can colour really light with them, but you can also get very bright colours. This time we are being sponsored by Lee Holland digis. 

A while ago I have made this card and when I made it I stamped a couple of extra animals for another card and now I have finally made the other card. The animals are from the set Peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle. I have coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut all the images. I have coloured the party hats with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. I have die-cut a couple of circles from a piece of kraft cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies. On a white card I used masking tape to colour the backgrounds behind all the circles with Abandoned coral, Mowed lawn, Spiced marmelade and Blueprint sketch Distress ink. Then I glued the kraft paper on the white card with foamtape. I also used foamtape to place all the animals inside the circles. On white cardstock I stamped a couple of sentiments from the set Labeled messages from Mama elephant and then I fussy cut them. I glued them next to the animals on the card. I stamped a scouple of black stars from the set You're a treat from Neat and tangled inside all the circles. Then I doodled a line along all the edges of the kraft cardstock with a black fineliner.

Gerda Steiner designs - Wishing you a hoppy easter!

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuwe kaart op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met een schattig konijntje uit de nieuwe collectie Easter bunnies digital bundle van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb voor ik het konijntje heb uitgeprint, op de computer nog een tekst toegevoegd op het bordje en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeprint. Ik heb het konijn ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Op een gele kaart heb ik design papier van het Sunny days ahead paperpad van Echo park dat ik heb uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies geplakt. Het rode papier komt ook uit dezelfde paperpad. Uit een restje papier heb ik een aantal eitjes geknipt en die heb ik op het bordje geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I made a card with a very sweet bunny from the new collection Easter bunnies digital bundle from Gerda Steiner designs. I have added a sentiment before I printed the image. After I printed the image I coloured it with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have die-cut a rectangle from design paper from the Sunny days ahead paperpad from Echo park with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies and glued it on a yellow card. The red paper is also from the same paperpad. I have fussy cut a couple of eggs from the design paper and glued those on the sign and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Make it girly

Goedemorgen! Vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we dat je je kaart vrouwelijk maakt. Ik heb voor roze, een geschulpte rand, bloemen en een vrouwelijk lettertype gekozen, dus ik hoop dat de kaart zo vrouwelijk genoeg is. ;)

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de digitale stempel Spring blossom mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb van een stuk wit karton de onderkant gestanst met de Scallop borders van Pretty pink posh. Daarna heb ik met Broken china Distress inkt een achtergrond voor mijn afbeelding gemaakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Scribble it more van Clearly besotted stamps (retired) net boven het geschulpte randje gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het witte karton geplakt.Ik heb roze gestreept design papier van het Striped silly paper pack van Sunny studio op de onderkant van een witte kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik het witte karton met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb daarna nog de onderste hoeken van de kaart afgerond met de Corner chomper.

Goodmorning! Today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we want you to make a girly card. I have used pink, a scalloped edge, flowers and and a femin font on my card, so I hope it is girly enough. ;)

I have made a card with the image Spring blossom mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils. the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. I have die-cut the bottom of a piece of white cardstock with the Scallop borders from Pretty pink posh. Then I made a background for the image with Broken china Distress ink. I stamped a sentiment from the set Scribble it more from Clearly besotted stamps (retired) just above the scalloped border and then I glued the image with foamtape on the white cardstock. I have glued pink striped design paper from the Striped silly paper pack from Sunny studio on the bottom of the card and then I glued the white cardstock with the image with foamtape on the card. I used the Corner chomper to make the bottom corners round.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuwe kaart op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Easter bunnies van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb het konijntje ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb ook een aantal eieren gestempeld en deze ingekleurd met mijn potloden. Daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit linnen karton gestanst en hierop heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb 2 grasheuveltjes uit wit papier gestanst met de Grassy hills die-namics van My favorite things en deze heb ik gekleurd met Mowed lawn distress inkt. Ik heb uit wit karton een boom gestanst met de Tree die van Action en deze heb ik gekleurd met Vintage photo distress inkt. Ik heb daarna een aantal blaadjes uit wit karton gestanst met de Leaves mix 115633/ 0238 van Craft emotions en ik heb daarna alle blaadjes gekleurd met Mowed lawn en Pine needles Distress inkt. Ik heb de blaadjes met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb het konijntje en de eieren met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik nog een tekst van de stempelset Easter bunnies van Gerda Steiner designs op de kaart gestempeld.

I have die-cut a couple of leaves with the Leaves mix 115633/ 0238 from Craft emotions and those are coloured with Mowed lawn and Pine needles Distress ink. I have glued the leaves on the card with some foamtape. Then I glued the bunny and all the eggs on the card with foamtape. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Easter bunnies from Gerda Steiner designs on the card.

As you like it challenge 152 - Favourite dies or stencil

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag weten wat je liever op je kaarten gebruikt: Stansjes of stencils. Stansjes gebruik ik al jaren, maar sinds kort heb ik de stencils ook ontdekt. Vooral de stencils om wolken op een kaart te maken zijn een echte favoriet. Ik moet echt uitkijken dat ik ze niet op elke kaart gebruik. Maar stansen zijn ook wel bijna altijd op mijn kaarten te vinden. Ik ben vooral gek op basisvormen, zoals cirkels, rechthoeken en vierkanten en dan nog het liefste met een mooi afgewerkt randje zoals een stiksteek of gaatjes. Op deze kaart heb ik er dan ook voor gekozen om stansen te gebruiken en dan vooral van mijn geliefde merk: Crealies. Zo'n mooie stans geeft je kaart net iets extra's. Ik gebruik niet al te veel versieringen op mijn kaart, maar dat vind ik ook niet echt nodig door de mooie afgewerkte randen. Deze keer is Crafty ribbons onze sponsor.

Vandaag heb ik eens een kaartje zonder afbeelding erop, dat gebeurt eigenlijk bijna nooit. Ik moest een verjaardagskaart maken en daarom heb ik met Star dies van de Action een grote ster uit paars streepjespapier van het Striped silly paper pack van Sunny studio gestanst. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies heb ik uit zwart karton een cirkel frame gestanst. Ik heb de tekst uit zwart karton gestanst met de Stencils SL163 van Studio light. Ik heb de tekst 3 keer uitgestanst en oplkaar geplakt, zodat deze een mooie dikte krijgt. Ik heb de letters daarna ook nog gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen om ze extra feestelijk te maken. Op een witte kaart heb ik eerst met een zwarte pen een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Daarna heb ik met Black gesso van Finnabair soatjes op de voorkant van mijn kaart gemaakt. Ik was nog niet helemaal tevreden met mijn spatjes, dus ik heb er een paar bijgestempeld met een stempel uit de set Forget me not van Tracey Hey and Alpaca pals. Ik heb daarna het frame en de ster op de kaart geplakt en vervolgens de tekst op de kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik de kaart nog versierd met paarse enamel dots die echt de perfecte kleur voor bij het paarse papier hebben.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we want to know what you prefer to use on your cards: Dies or stencils. I have used dies since I started making cards, but lately I also got interested in stencils. I really love using stencils to create a cloudy background on a card. I want to add those on all the cards I make. But I use my dies also very often on my cards. I really love the basic shapes, likes circles, rectangles and squares. I love them even more when they have a nice edge, like stitching or dots. So on this card I decided to used dies, I had to use dies from my favourite brand: Crealies. A nice die adds a little something extra on your card. I don't use a lot of embellishments, but when my die-cuts have a nice decorated edge, I don't think a lot of other embellishments are needed. This time Crafty ribbons is our sponsor.

For today I have made a card without an image on it, that almost never happens. I needed to make a birthday card, so I have die-cut a large star with Star dies from Action from striped purple design paper from the Striped silly paper pack from Sunny studio. I have die-cut a circle frame from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies. The sentiment is die-cut from black cardstock with the Stencils SL163 from Studio light. I have cut the words three times and glued them on top of each other, love that look. Then I coloured the letters with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen to make the words extra festive. I doodled lines with a black pen along the edges of the card. Then I added paint splatters on the card with Black gesso from Finnabair. I wanted some more splatters so with a stamp from the set Forget me not from Tracey Hey and Alpaca pals I stamped a couple more on my card. Then I glued the frame and the star on the card. I glued the sentiment on top of the star on the card. Then I decorated the card with purple enamel dots that have the perfect colour to match my design paper. 

Binnen in de kaart heb ik met de Gift bag die van Waffleflower een vakje gemaakt voor een cadeau kaart. Ik heb uit het vakje nog een ster gestanst met de dies van de Action en de ster heb ik daarna in de hoek van mijn kaart geplakt. 

Inside the card I made a pocket for a gift card with the Gift bag die from Waffleflower. I have cut a star from the pocket with the dies from Action and I glued that star in the upper corner.

Op mijn kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Gardening buddies van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Nellie's multi frame's MFD124 Photo frames square van Nellie Snellen. In de linker bovenhoek bij de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Scribble it van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld. Op een witte kaart heb ik rood-wit stipjespapier van het Candy land paper pack van My favorite things geplakt nadat ik er een wit lintje omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb uit wit karton een knoopje gestanst met de Rounds and rounds creative cuts van Mama elephant. Ik hier wit borduurgaren doorheen gebonden en de knoop daarna op de kaart geplakt.

I have fussy cut the image with the Nellie's multi frame's MFD124 Photo frames square from Nellie Snellen. In the left upper corner I stamped a sentiment from the set Scribble it from Clearly besotted stamps. On a white card I glued red and white dotted design paper from the Candy land paper pack from My favorite things after I tied a white ribbon around it. I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have die-cut a button from white cardstock with the Rounds and rounds creative cuts from Mama elephant. I threaded white embroidery floss in the button and then I glued it on the card.
