As you like it 119 - Your favourite animal and why

Goedemorgen! As you like it challenge blog.

Goodmorning! It is thursday and today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time our challenge is to use your favourite animal on your card and you have to tell why it is your favourite. I think most people that visit my blog will know which animal my absolute favourite is. It is the mouse. When I was little my mother used to call me mouse and that is when the love started. I started collecting mice. I had books, cards, stuffed animals etc. I think they look funny and cute with their big ears. I really love making cards with my favourite animal on it.

For this challenge I made a card with the image Christmas catch mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I coloured the snow and parts of the hat with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I have fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I die-cut a couple of snowflakes with the Crystalline border from Memory box. I adhered those on a piece of white cardstock and then I die-cut a circle out of it with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies. From another piece of white cardstock I have die-cut a scalloped circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies and I adhered the circle with the snowflakes on top of it. From red cardstock I diecut a square with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies and then I adhered it on a white card after I tied white ribbon around it. I stamped a sentiment from the set Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps on it with Versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I adhered the cirkle on the card and then I adhered the image with foamtape on the card. I decorated the card with a couple of tiny die-cut snowflakes.

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:
STAMP: Christmas catch mice from Di's digi stamps, Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps
COLORING MEDIUM: Polychromos pencils
PAPER: Red and white cs
INK: Versamark
DIES: Crea-nest-lies XXL 49, 50 and 53 from Crealies. Crystalline border from Memory box
