As you like it 117 - X-mas or non x-mas

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. This time we want to see a X-mas project or a Non-X-mas project. At the moment I really enjoy making christmas cards. I see so many cute images and I have to use them on a card or other project. And we are already in november, so it is handy to have a lot of christmas cards already done, so I will not have too much christmas stress. ;) lol

Normally I really love working in traditional christmas colours, but on this card I decided to use other colours. I made a card with the stamp Snow buddies from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. As I said I didn't go for the green and red colour combination, but I decided to use pink and dark blue. I have fussy cut the image. The only thing I didn't cut was the snow border under the image. I wrapped white ribbon around it. I also stamped a sentiment from the set Tiny type from Clearly besotted stamps on the snow border. On a white card I taped the borders of the card with painters tape and then I made a sky background. I used the following colours of ink: Tumbled glass, Broken china and Blueprint sketch distress ink. It is such a pretty colour combination! I added a few drops of water on the sky and left them sit for a while on the sky. I used a tissue to take the water away and now it looks like there is snow falling. Then I adhered a couple of snowflake stickers. I also added a few drops with the Morning dew - Crystal drops from Nuvo. You can't see them really well, but they give the sky a nice effect. ;)

I want to enter this card in the following challenges:
