Mijn kerstkaartje voor Niek


Goedemorgen, afgelopen maandag heb ik de kerstkaartje voor mijn neefje Menno op mijn blog geplaatst en vandaag post ik de kerstkaart voor zijn kleine broertje Niek. Niek (2 bijna 3) is gek op dieren en dan vooral lieuwen ;) Maar ook de giraf en oelifant zijn grote favorieten van hem. Dus daarom moest ik voor zijn kerstkaart wel de afbeelding Animals christmas tree van Di's digi stamps gebruiken. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de kerstballen en de ster gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen en daarna heb ik Glossy accents aangebracht. Vervolgens heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb van een witte kaart een strip van de voorkant van de kaart weggesneden en daarna heb ik hier rood gestreept design papier van een paperpad van de Action geplakt. Ik heb vervolgens nog een strip zwart karton opgeplakt en daarna de onderste hoeken van de kaart afgerond met de corner chomper. Met een zwarte pen heb ik een kader op het witte gedeelte van de kaart getekend. Met de silhouette heb ik een tekst uit zwart vinyl gesneden en deze op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart daarna versierd met zwarte rub-on sterretjes.

Goodmorning, last Monday I posted the christmas card for my cousin Menno on my blog and today I am posting the card I made for his little brother Niek. Niek (2 almost 3) loves all animals but lions are his absolute favorites. But he also loves girafs and elephants. So I had to use the image Animals christmas tree from Di's digi stamps on his card. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I coloured the christmas baubles and the star with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied glossy accents and then I fussy cut the image. I cut a strip from the front of a white card and replaced it with red striped design paper from a paperpad from the Action (a Dutch store). I added a strip of black cardstock and rounded the bottom corners of the card with the corner chomper. I doodled a bit on the card with a black pen. I cut a sentiment with the silhouette from black vinyl and adhered it on the card. I decorated the card with black rub-on stars.
