Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en deze week is de challenge uilen. Je moet dus of een stempel met een uil gebruiken of op een andere manier een uil op je kaart verwerken. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een kaart te maken in de vorm van een uil. Ik heb ze gemaakt met de silhouette en ik heb hiervoor het bestand A2 owl shaped card van Lori Whitlock gebruikt. Ik heb meteen 2 kaarten gemaakt, één jongetjes uil en één meisjes uil. Voor de jongens heb ik ervoor gekozen om design papier uit het Snips & snails van Doodlebug te gebruiken. Voor het lijfje heb ik sterretjes papier gekozen en de vleugels en het snuitje heb ik gemaakt met groen streepjespapier. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om alle randen van de papier te distressen met vintage photo distress inkt.

I decided to make a card with an owl shape. I made them with the silhouette and I used the file A2 owl shaped card from Lori Whitlock. I made 2 cards, one for a boy and one for a girl. For the boy card I used paper from the Snips & snails paperpad from Doodlebug. I used star paper for the body and green striped paper for the wings and the face. I distressed all the edges of the paper with vintage photo distress ink.
Voor het meisjesuiltje heb ik papier uit het Country drive paperpad van Echo park gebruikt. Bloemetjespapier voor het lijf en roze ruitjes papier voor de vleugels en het snuitje. Ook hier heb ik de randen gedistressed met vintage photo distress inkt. Binnenin beide uilen heb ik de tekst gestempeld. Ik heb hiervoor de set Sentiment sampler van Paper smooches gebruikt.
I used the Country drive paperpad from Echo park for the girl owl. Flowerpaper for the body and pink paper for the wings and face. Here I also distressed the edges of all the paper with the vintage photo distress ink. Inside both owls I stamped the sentiment. I used a sentiment from the Sentiment sampler set from Paper smooches.
