Tiddly Inks challenge - Make it like Pops

Goodmorning, today the last Tiddly Inks challenge of this year starts. An dalthough I love being part of the Tiddly Inks design team, I am really happy that we are going to have a little break, this time just before christmas is so very busy. But I guessed you may have noticed that on my blog, I just don't have the time to write blogposts. I have been preparing myself for a christmas market. Yesterday I did have time to take a couple of pictures of my projects, so I hope I can post them soon. I am done now with my work for the christmas fair, so I hope to have some more time now.
But now onto my card: This is my card for the last Tiddly Inks challenge this year. This challenge is another inspiration challenge and this time we used a card from Pops as our inspiration. Pops isn't a member from the Tiddly Inks design team anymore, but her card is still perfect for this challenge. I decided to use the layout that Pops used on her card. I have used the image Christmas wishes from Tiddly Inks on my card. I have coloured the image with my pencils and I used blue chalk to colour around the image. I have coloured the eyes and nose of Mavis with a black glaze pen. With a white gelpen I have drawn white dots on her dress. On the balls and lights in the xmas tree I applied glossy accents. The image was cut out with the oval nestabilities. I doodled with a black fineliner. I adhered red-white striped paper on the card. The white border was made with the wonky scallop border die from My favorite things. I wrapped a red ribbon around it. I made the branches with a punch. I used white hotfix gems as the berries. The sentiment is printed.

  2. Larissa this is super cute! I love the faux stitching. You colored it up so well (like usual!). :D I hear about having a break, it will be nice not having to think of deadlines and whatnot for a bit. We all could use it about this time of year. Good luck with your market, hun, that sounds like a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!
