Kraftin Kimmie is celebrating her birthday and the birthday of her awesome blog this week with all kinds if great challenges. I have been following Kimmie for a while now, because of her cute and bright cards and also because of the enthusiastic stories she is always telling. This was actually the first challenge, but I have started with another one. For the first challenge you had to make a birthday card with some purple. As you can see I do have some purple on my card! :) For my card I used the stamp of Tilda with her garland. She maybe intended for christmas, but I think she is also perfect for a birthday. Tilda was colored with derwent pencils. With a white gelpen I colored some accents on her cheeks, her eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. I colored the little garland with a black spica glitter pen. Tilda was cut with oval nestabilities. On the card with the printed background I used a white satin ribbon. I added two white flowers. IN the hearts of the flowers I used black hotfix hearts. I also used some hotfix gems on the oval.

Ik vind het zò knap dat je met zo weinig kleuren zo'n effect kunt bereiken. Het is echt een heel mooie kaart geworden.
