Tiddly Inks - Sweet tooth - Let us eat cake

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een verjaardagskaartje zien op mijn blog. Op het kaartje heb ik een afbeelding van Tiddly Inks gebruikt. Dit is Sweet tooth - Let us eat cake van Tiddly Inks. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik de tekst geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape erover heen geplakt. De kaart heb ik daarna nog versierd met Sequins van Pretty Pink Posh.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a birthday card on my blog. On my card I used an image from Tiddly Inks. This is Sweet tooth - Let us eat cake from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out. On the front of my card I printed the sentiment (happy birthday to you) and on top of that I adhered the image with foamtape. Then I decorated the card with a couple of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Een pinguin voor Boas

Goedemorgen, een tijdje geleden heeft mijn oude buurmeisje een zoontje gekregen, die ze Boas heeft genoemd. Het leek me leuk om een cadeautje voor haar te maken. Daarom heb ik een lieve penguin ragdoll voor haar gehaakt. Op mijn andere blog Crochet-licious kun je daar meer over lezen, daar is ook een link naar het patroon van de pinguin te vinden. Ik vond het natuurlijk leuk om de pinguin niet zomaar te geven, maar in een leuke verpakking. Op de markt had ik leuke kraft tasjes gekocht een tijdje geleden en daar past de pinguin perfect in. Het tasje is versierd met een afbeelding van Lee holland. Het was oorspronkelijk een kerstafbeelding maar op de computer heb ik de kerstmuts weggegumd en ik heb er een gewoon hoofdje van gemaakt. Ik heb de pinguïn ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Uit blauw papier heb ik een rechthoek gesneden met de Die-namics stitched rectangle stax dies van My favorite things. Ik heb deze daarna geëmbost met de snowflakes embossingfolder. De naam van Boas heb ik uit wit papier gestanst met het Olivia alfabet van quickutz.

Goodmorning, a while ago my old neighbour gave birth to a little son and she named him Boas. I thought it would be fun to make a little present for him. So that is why I crocheted this cute penguin ragdoll for her. You can read more about that on my other blog Crochet-licious and there you can find a link for the pattern. I didn't give the penguin just like that, I had to add a little bag. I bought these kraft bags a while agon on the market and it is the perfect size for this penguin. The bag is decorated with a penguin image from Lee Holland. Originally it was a christmas image, but I removed the hat on the computer and gave him a normal head. I colored the penguin with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out, I cut a rectangle out of blue paper with the Die-namics stitched rectangle stax dies from My favorite things. Then I embossed it with the snowflakes embossingfolder. The name Boas was cut out of white paper with the Olivia alphabet from quickutz.

Tiddly inks challenge - Charming

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Onze challenge is deze keer Charming: oftwel je moet een charm gebruiken op je kaartje. 

Ik heb deze keer aan recycling gedaan. Een tijdje geleden bij de nieuwe release had ik een koekjesverpakking versierd met de afbeelding Wryn - Smart cookie van Tiddly Inks. Nou zijn die koekjes natuurlijk al lang op. maar de verpakking kon ik nog niet weggooien, want dat vond ik zonde. Totdat ik me bedacht dat de afbeelding er gewoon af kon halen en hem zo weer op een kaartje gebruiken. :) Ik heb Wryn gekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna uitgeknipt. De scallop cirkels heb ik gemaakt met de Flowers circles die set van Waffle flower crafts. Ik heb hiervoor bruin karton gebruikt en roze papier uit het Lovebirds paperpad van Doodlebug. Op mijn kaart heb ik nog wat meer bruin karton geplakt. Ik heb dit bruine karton geëmbost met de polkadots embossingfolder van quickutz. Rondom het bruine karton heb ik een wit lintje gebonden. Aan het strikje heb ik een hartjes charm gebonden (die helaas helemaal scheef hangt op de foto). De tekst is gemaakt met de CC designs cutters Mini Alpha & numbers die van CC designs uit het roze design papier van het Lovebirds paperpad. Rondom het bruine karton heb ik een stiklijntje getekend met een bruine fineliner.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Our challenge this time is Charming: you have to use a charm on your card.

This time I did some recycling. A while ago I made a wrapping for chocolate chip cookies. I decorated it with the image Wryn - Smart cookie from Tiddly Inks. The cookies have been eaten, but I couldn't throw the package away. Then I got the plan to remove the image from the package and use it again on a card. So here is Wryn again. ;) I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out. The scallop circles are made with the Flowers circles die set from Waffle flower crafts. I used brown cardstock and pink paper from the Lovebirds paperpad from Doodlebug. On my card I used more brown cardstock. I embossed it with the polkadots embossingfolder from quickutz. I wrapped a white ribbon around the brown cardstock. I added a little heart charm in the bow. The sentiment is made with the CC designs cutters Mini Alpha & numbers die from CC design from the pink designpaper from the Lovebirds paperpad. I have adde faux stitching around the brown cardstock with a brown pen.

Fairytale challenge - Kraft paper + tutorial

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het fairytale challenge blog. De challenge is deze keer dat je ergens op je project kraft papier moet gebruiken. Ik heb voor vandaag 2 kaartjes gemaakt. Op beide kaarten heb ik stempels uit de set Cherry blossom tree van Joy crafts gebruikt. Ik wilde een techniek gebruiken die ik op internet tegenkwam, maar dat werd niet echt mooi en toen ben ik een beetje gaan experimenteren met witte inkt en derwent aquatone potloden. Ik ben heel tevreden over het resultaat en heb daarom een kleine tutorial geschreven over hoe ik mijn kaartjes heb gemaakt.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the fairytale challenge blog. The challenge this time is that you have to use kraft paper on yur project somewhere. I made 2 cards for today. On both cards I have used stamps from the set Cherry blossom tree from Joy crafts. I wanted to try a new technique I found somewhere on internet, but that didn't turn out like I wanted it to. But then I started experimenting with white ink and derwent aquatone pencils. I really love the result and that is why I wrote a little tutorial about how I made these cards.

Op het eerste kaartje heb ik eerst de tak gestempeld en daarna de tekst. Ik heb gestempeld met witte inkt, de unicorn inkt van Memories. Ik heb daarna de stempel ingekleurd met derwent aquatone potloden. Ik heb gekleurd met de kleuren bruin, groen en rood. Met een witte gelpen heb ik nog wat kleine accentjes in de stempel getekend.

On the first card I started with stamping the branch and then the sentiment. I have stamped with white ink: the unicorn ink from Memories. Then I colored the image with derwent aquatone pencils. I used the colors brown, green and red. With a white gelpen I added some accents on the image.

Op het tweede kaartje heb ik eerst de tekst gestempeld op mijn  kraft papier en daarna heb ik hier rondom een aantal losse bloemetjes gestempeld. Ik heb gestempeld met witte inkt, de unicorn inkt van Memories. Daarna heb ik de bloemetjes gekleurd met een paars derwent aquatone potlood. Ik heb het kraft papier daarna op een witte kaart geplakt.

On the second card I started with stamping the sentiment on kraft paper and around the sentiment I stamped a couple of flowers. I have stamped with white ink: the unicorn ink from Memories. Then I colored the flowers with a purple aquatone pencil. I adhered the kraft paper on a white card.

Tutorial:

• Voor deze kaarten heb ik de volgende spullen nodig: Kraft papier, stempelset Cherry blossom tree van Joy crafts, waterpenseel, derwent aquatone potloden, unicorn inkt van Memories, eventueel extra water, heattool and a white gelpen.
• For these cards I need the following: Kraft paper, stampset Cherry blossom tree from Joy crafts, waterbrush, derwent aquatone pencils, unicorn ink from Memories, maybe some extra water heattool and a white gelpen.

• Begin met het beinkten van je stempel met de witte inkt
• Start with inking the stamp with the white ink.

• Stempel de afbeelding op het kraft papier en droog de afbeelding daarna met de heattool.
• Stamp the image on kraft paper and use the heattool to dry the image.

• Ik heb de afbeelding hier al gekleurd met het bruine potlood, maar dat valt niet goed op, dus dat laat ik niet zien. Ik heb dus hier de afbeelding gekleurd met het groene aquatone potlood. Ik breng redelijk wat kleur aan.
• I colored the image with brown pencils, but that doesn't show very well on the pictures, so I am not showing it not here. Here I am showing how I colored the image with the green aquatone pencils. I used quite some color.

• Met het waterpenseel ben ik daarna gaan kleuren. Hoewel de witte inkt redelijk droog lijkt, mengt het toch nog met het groene potlood waardoor een lichte kleur ontstaat.
• With the waterbrush I started the coloring, Although the white ink seems pretty dry, it is not and it blends with the green pencil and it becomes a pretty soft color.

• In dit voorbeeld heb ik de tak met een roze potlood gekleurd, zoals je ziet breng ik best veel kleur aan.
• In this example I used a pink pecil to color the image. As you can see I apply quite some color.

• Hier heb ik een aantal bloemetjes al gekleurd met het waterpenseel. Doordat het roze potlood mooi wordt vermengd met de witte inkt krijg je een mooie licht roze kleur.
• Here I already colored a couple of flowers with the waterbrush. The pink pencil and the white ink blend really well and you get a pretty soft pink color.

• En hier zijn alle bloemetjes gekleurd. 
• And here all flowers are colored.

• Ik vond sommige bloemetjes wat licht, dus ik heb nog wat extra kleur aangebracht met het roze potlood.
• Some flowers are still really light, so I added some extra color with the pink pencil.

• De bloemetjes zijn hier nog een keer extra gekleurd met het waterpenseel.
• The flowers are colored again with the water brush

• Met de witte gelpen heb ik nog wat accentjes op de bloemen aangebracht die een beetje zijn weggevallen door het waterpenseel.
• I used a white gelpen to add some accents on the flowers, because they were a bit faded because of the use of the waterbrush.

Lili of the valley - Mice are nice - Cherry on top

Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik nog weer een Lili of the valley kaartje voor op mijn blog. Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Mice are nice - Cherry on top van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding op zwart papier geplakt. Op mijn kaart heb ik design papier uit het Lovebirds paperpad from Doodlebug gebruikt. Ik heb gaatjes langs de randen van het design papier en de afbeelding geprikt en daarna heb met wit garen een stiklijntje toegevoegd. Ik heb een tekst van de set Many mini messages from Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld op een stukje design papier en deze heb ik daarna in een vlaagetjesvorm geknipt. Op het uiteinde van het vlaggetje heb ik een zwart pareltje geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting another Lili of the valley card on my blog. This time I made a card with the image Mice are nice - Cherry on top from Lili of the valley. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I adhered the image on black cardstock. On my card I adhered design paper from the Lovebirds paperpad from Doodlebug. I pierced holes in the edges of the design paper and the image and added stitching with white embroidery thread. I stamped a sentiment from the set Many mini messages from Clearly besotted stamps on a piece of design paper and then I cut it into a bannershape. On the end of the banner I adhered a black pearl.

Tiddly Inks - Sweet tooth - Semi sweet

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een Tiddly Inks kaartje op mijn blog. Deze keer heb ik de afbeelding Sweet Tooth - Semi sweet van Tiddly Inks gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik wimpers getekend bij mijn Sweet tooth. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op mijn witte kaart heb ik designpapier van het Halloween paperpad van American crafts gebruikt. Met een prikpen heb ik zelf gaatjes geprikt langs de randen en daarna heb ik een stiklijntje geborduurd met wit naaigaren. Ik heb het expres zo rommelig gemaakt. Ik had de gaatjes alleen een beetje te dicht op elkaar gezet, dus de volgende keer moet ik dat even aanpassen. ;) Op de kaart heb ik een strip oranje papier geplakt. Deze vond ik een beetje te licht van kleur, dus ik heb hem iets donkerder gemaakt door er versamark inkt op aan te brengen. Zo past hij beter bij de rest van de kaart. De tekst is gedeeltelijk op de computer gemaakt en de witte letters zijn gemaakt met de CC designs cutters Mini Alpha & numbers die van CC designs.

Goodmorning,today I am posting a Tiddly Inks card. This time I used the image Sweet Tooth - Semi sweet from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with my pencils and a black glaze pen. I added eye lashes with a black pen. I have cut the image out. On my white card I adhered design paper from the Halloween paperpad from American crafts. With a piercing tool I made little holes and then I added stitching with white embroidery yarn. I didn't make straight lines. I did put the holes to close together, so next time I will change that. ;) I adhered a strip of orange paper on my card. I thought it was a bit too light so I applied versamark ink on it and then It got the perfect color. The sentiment was partially made on the computer and the white letters are made with the CC designs cutters Mini Alpha & numbers die from CC designs.

Lili of the valley - Snuggle time

Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik nog weer 2 babykaartjes voor jullie. :) De kaartjes zijn gemaakt met een stempeltje van Lili of the valley. Dit is Snuggle time van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeeldingen rechtstreeks op deze kaarten gestempeld. De kaarten heb ik gekocht bij Pipoos. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik gekleurd met blauw krijt.

De tekst is gestempeld met een stempel van de set EC0096 van Marianne design.

Goodmorning, today I have another 2 babycards to show you. :) The cards are made with a stamp from Lili of the valley. This is Snuggle time from Lili of the valley. I stamped the images on these scalloped cards. The cards are bought in a dutch craft store. I colored the image with my pencils and the blue glaze pen. I used blue chalk to color around the image.

The sentiment is stamped with a sentiment from the set EC0096 from Marianne design.

Goedemorgen, vandaag wil ik dit kaartje met deze schattige beer van Lili of the valley posten. Deze beer is Teddy bouquet van Lili of the valley (retired) en wat mij betreft vroeg de afbeelding er gewoon om heel kleurrijk te worden ingekleurd. Ik heb gekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een stiklijntje langs de rand van de cirkel getekend. Op mijn kaart heb ik roze karton geplakt waarop ik met een witte gelpen stiklijntjes heb getekend. Ik een wit lintje rondom de kaart gebonden. De tekst van de set Summer bears companion stamps van Lili of the valley  is gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder.

I have cut the image out with the circle nestabilities. On one of the circles I added faux stitching with a black pen. I adhered pink cardstock on my card and again I did some faux stitching but this time with a white gelpen. I wrapped a white ribbon around the pink cardstock. The sentiment is from the set Summer bears companion stamps from Lili of the valley. I stamped it with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder.

Tiddly Inks - Sketch challenge

Goedemorgen, het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op het Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Deze keer hebben we een sketch challenge. Ik heb besloten om een kerstkaartje te maken. De laatste jaren was ik steeds te laat met mijn kerstkaarten, en dus ga ik dit jaar proberen om het hele jaar door al wat kerstkaarten te maken. :)
Op dit kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Christmas wishes van Tiddly Inks gebruikt. Mavis is zo'n lieverd. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Die-namics stitched square stax van My favorite things. Ik heb een tekst van de
Round for christmas set van Bella stamps bij de afbeelding gestempeld. Op mijn kaart heb ik eerst groen karton geplakt en daarop roze stipjespapier uit het Lovebirds paperpad van Doodlebug. Hieroverheen heb ik een strip roze karton geplakt waar ik met een witte gelpen stiklijnen op heb getekend. De afbeelding heb ik op groen papier geplakt. Uit wit en roze karton heb ik een aantal sneeuwsterren gestanst met de Die-namics Let it snowflakes dies van My favorite things. Op de witte sneeuwster heb ik een roze parel geplakt en op de kaart zelf heb ik nog een aantal witte pareltjes geplakt.

Goodmorning, it is time again for a new challenge on the Tiddly inks challenge blog. This time we have a lovely sketch for you. I decided to make a christmas card for this challenge. The last couple of years I always started to late working on my own christmas cards, so this year I wanted to start a bit earlier. :)
On this card I have used the image Christmas wishes from Tiddly Inks. Mavis is such a cutie. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I cut the image out with the Die-namics stitched square stax from My favorite things. I stamped a sentiment from the set Round for christmas from Bella stamps next to it. On my card I first adhered a layer of green cardstock and on top of that I adhered pink dotted paper from the Lovebirds paperpad from Doodlebug. I added a strip of pink paper on which I added faux stitching with a white gelpen. I adhered the image on green cardstock. Out of white and pink cardstock I cut a couple of snowflakes with the Die-namics Let it snowflakes dies van My favorite things. I added a pink pearl on the white snowflake and on the card I added a couple of white pearls. 

De binnenkant van de kaart heb ik versierd met wat restjes van het papier en een aantal sneeuwsterren.

The inside of the card is decorated with some scraps of the paper and a couple of snowflakes.

Lili of the valley - Starry bunny

Goedemorgen, hier ben ik weer met nog een nieuw babykaartje. Deze keer heb ik een hele schattige stempel van Lili of the valley gebruikt. Dit is Starry bunny van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Op de sterretjes en de buitenrand van de cirkel heb ik gekleurd met de clear wink of stella brush pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de vierkante nestabilities. Op mijn witte kaart heb ik eerst blauw parelmoer papier geplakt en daarop geel-wit streepjes papier van het Kraft in color - color paperpad van Doodlebug. Op het streepjespapier heb ik de tekst geprint met een stempel van de Sentimental type set van  Clearly besotted stamps.  Over het streepjespapier heb ik een rand geplakt die ik heb uitgestanst met de CC designs cutters Fairwee tiny scallop border die van CC designs. Ik heb geel bakers twine rondom de blauwe strip papier gebonden. Uit het blauwe parelmoer papier heb ik een aantal bloemetjes gestanst met de Fresh cut flowers van My favorite things. Midden op de bloemen heb ik gele parels geplakt.

Goodmorning, here I am again with a new baby card. This time I used a really cute stamp from Lili of the valley. This is Starry bunny from Lili of the valley. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. On the stars and the outer edge of the circle I colored with the clear wink of stella brush pen. I have cut the image out with the square nestabilities. On a white card I first adhered a layer of blue shimmer paper and then I added a layer of yellow-white striped paper from the Kraft in color - color paperpad from Doodlebug. On the striped paper I stamped a sentiment from the set Sentimental type from Clearly besotted stamps. I cut a border out of the blue shimmer paper with the CC designs cutters Fairwee tiny scallop border die from CC designs and I adhered it on top of the striped paper. I wrapped yellow bakerstwine around it. I used the same blue shimmer paper to cut some flowers with the Fresh cut flowers from My favorite things. I adhered yellow pearls in the centres of the flowers.
