You made it!

Goedemorgen, het is weer examentijd, dus het was heel hard nodig dat ik een paar geslaagd kaartjes ging maken. Dit kaartje is gemaakt met de stempel A la modes Grad girl van My favorite things. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. Met een zwarte pen heb ik een lijntje langs de rand gedoodled. Op mijn kaart heb ik zwart-wit stipjes papier geplakt, nadat ik er eerst een wit lintje omheen had gebonden. De tekst zit ook in het stempelsetje en deze heb ik geponst met de word window punch van Stampin up. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik er een lijntje op getekend. De bloemetjes zijn geponst met de 3 in 1 Hydrangea punch van Martha Stewart. Uit groen papier heb ik 2 takjes geponst. In het midden van de bloemen heb ik een wit hotfix steentje geplakt. 

Goodmorning, it is examperiod over here, so I need some gradutaion cards. This card is made with the A la modes Grad girl from My favorite things.  I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out with the oval nestabilities. With a black pen I doodled a line on the edge of the oval. On my card I adhered balck and white dotted paper, after I first wrapped a white ribbon around it. The sentiment is also from the grad girl stamp set and I punched it with the word window punch from Stampin up. Here I also doodled a line on it. The flowers are punched with the 3 in 1 Hydrangea punch from Martha Stewart. I added 2 leaves that I punched out of green paper. In the centres of the flowers I adhered white hotfix gems.

Purple onions designs - Wishing

Hallo! Vandaag was een lekkere knutseldag en ik heb onder andere deze 2 kaartjes gemaakt met dit lieve stempeltje van Purple onion designs. Dit is Wishing (mouse with dandelion) uit de A beautiful day collectie van Stacey Yacula. Ik heb de stempel op verschillende manieren ingekleurd. Op het eerste oranje kaart heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met Derwent inktense potloden. Ik kwam op internet een leuke aanbieding tegen voor een doos Derwent inktense potloden en ik kon mezelf niet beheersen. ;) Ik ben nog niet echt goed in het kleuren met aquarelpotloden, maar ik vind het wel erg leuk om te doen. Dat wordt dus flink oefenen de komende tijd. Voor een eerste poging was ik tevreden met hoe de afbeelding eruit kwam te zien. Het neusje van het muisje is gekleurd met de black glaze penen de stipjes op de wangen zijn gemaakt met een witte gelpen. Daarnaast heb ik nog kleine stipjes op de afbeelding gezet met de crystal stickles. Ik heb met de naaimachine een randje langs de afbeelding gestikt. Op mijn witte kaart heb ik oranjes stipjespapier uit het Kraft in color- color paperpad van Doodlebug geplakt. Ook hier heb ik langs de randen van de kaart gestikt. De tekst is ook van Purple onion designs. 

Hello! Today was a real crafty day and I made a couple of cards. Today I am showing you 2 cards that I made with this cute stamp from Purple onion designs. This is Wishing (mouse with dandelion) from the A beautiful day collection from Stacey Yacula. I used 2 different ways to color the image. On the orange card I colored the image with Derwent inktense pencils. I found a real good sale on these pencils and I had to buy them. ;) I am not really good with watercolor pencils, but I do love to do it. So I guess that means that I need to practise a lot. I was pretty satisfied with this first attempt. I used the black glaze pen to color the nose from the mouse and I added dots with a white gelpen. Then I added a lots of dots with the crystal stickles. I used the sewing machine to add some stitching on the image. On my white card I adhered orange dotted paper from the Kraft in color - color paperpad from Doodlebug. Again I used the sewing machine. The sentiment is also from Purple onion designs.

Het tweede kaartje is weer gemaakt met de Wishing stempel van Purple onion designs. Deze keer heb ik de afbeelding zoals altijd gekleurd met mijn potloden, doezelaars en reukloze terpentine. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik gekleurd met blauw krijt. De neus van de muis is gekleurd met de zwarte glaze pen. Ook hier heb ik crystal stickles op de kaart aangebracht. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Ik heb nog een keer de naaimachine gebruikt om een randje te stikken. Op de kaart heb ik paars karton geplakt. Ook hier heb ik een randje op gestikt. Daarna heb ik cirkeltjes gestempeld met een stempel uit de polka dots basics collectie van Papertrey ink. Ik heb de tekst gestempeld en daarna in een bannervorm uitgesneden.

The second card is again made with the Wishing stamp from Purple onion designs. This time I colored the image as always with my pencils, gamsol and paper stumps. I colored around the image with blue chalk. I colored the nose from the mouse with the black glaze pen. Again I used the crystal stickles to add some dots on the card. I cut the image out with the circle nestabilities and again I used the sewing machine to add stitching. I adhered purple cardstock on my card. I stamped circles on it with a stamp from the Polkadots basics set from Papertrey ink. I stamped the sentiment and cut it into a bannershape.

Stampfairy - Lenny cupcakes

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer mijn wekelijkse Stampfairy kaartje. Deze keer heb k een simpel maar vrolijk verjaardagskaartje gemaakt. Ik heb een afbeelding uit de Lenny cupcakes collectie van Stampfairy gebruikt. Ik heb deze afbeelding rechtstreeks op de voorkant van de kaart geprint samen met de tekst. Ik heb daarna de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. De ballon is eerst gekleurd met de clear wink of stella brush pen. Op de ballon heb ik glossy accents aangebracht en dat heb ik ook op de neus en de voeten gedaan.

Goodmorning, today I am posting my weekly Stampfairy card. This time I made a really simple birthday card. I have used an image from the Lenny cupcakes collection from Stampfairy. I printed the image on the front of my card together with the sentiment. I have colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I colored the balloons with the clear wink of stella brush pen. Then I added glossy accents on the balloons and also on the nose and feet from the bears.

Tiddly Inks challenge - Pastel colours

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe Tiddly Inks challenge. De challenge deze keer is pastel kleuren. Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Flying high Anna Belle van Tiddly Inks. Ik heb Anna Belle ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op mijn kaart heb ik lichtblauw gestreept papier geplakt waar ik de hoeken van heb afgerond. Onderaan de kaart heb ik een grasrandje geplakt dat ik heb gestanst met de Dienamics Fresh cut grass die van My favorite things. Met een wolkjesstans heb ik een aantal wolkjes uitgestanst uit wit papier. Daarna heb ik ze geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder. Anna Belle is met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De ballonnen heb ik gekleurd met de clear wink of stella brush pen. De tekst is gestempeld met de Essential sentiments set van My favorite things.

Goodmorning, today a new Tiddly Inks challenge has started. The challenge this time is Pastel colors. This time I made a card with the image Flying high Anna Belle from Tiddly Inks. I colored Anna Belle with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out. On my card I adhered light blue striped paper. I rounded the corners of the striped paper. I added a grass border at the bottom that I cut with the Dienamics Fresh cut grass die from My favorite things. I cut a couple of clouds with a cloud die and then I embossed them with the swiss dots embossing folder.. I adhered Anna Belle with foamtape on the card. The balloons are colored with the clear wink of stella brush pen. The sentiment is stamped with the Essential sentiments set from My favorite things.

Beterschapskaartje met Sick chick

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een beterschapskaartje zien dat ik heb gemaakt voor een vriend. Deze afbeelding Sick chick van From the heart stamps is er gewoon perfect voor. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarna uitgesneden met de vierkante nestabilities. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje gedoodled. De tekst is gemaakt op de computer en past wel leuk bij de afbeelding. Op mijn gele kaart heb ik eerst zwart papier geplakt en daarna heb ik er geel-wit ruitjes papier op geplakt. Als laatste heb ik nog een aantal zwarte hotfix steentjes op de kaart geplakt. En verder heb ik niet te veel versieringen gebruikt want dat vond ik niet zo geschikt voor een man.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a get well card that I made for a friend. This image Sick chick from From the heart stamps is perfect for it. I colored the image with my pencils and then I cut it out with the square nestabilities. I doodles some lines with a black pen. The sentiment is made on the computer and it has a wordjoke in it that can't be translated. It is perfect for a sick chick image. ;) On my yellow card I first adhered a layer of black paper and then I added yellow-white paper on top of it. I finally added a couple of black hotfix gems. I didn't want to add any other embellishments, because it is not necessary for a man, I think.

Fairytale challenge - With needle and thread

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe Fairytale challenge en deze week is de challenge Needle and thread, oftewel naald en draad. Ik had natuurlijk kunnen stikken op een kaartje wat ook erg leuk is om te doen, maar ik heb ervoor gekozen om deze sjaaltjes te showen. Eéntje heb ik gemaakt en de andere is gemaakt door mijn moeder. De sjaaltjes zijn gebreid met en heel leuk apart garen, waarvan ik de naam niet meer weet en ik heb het in mijn sjaaltje gecombineerd met een zwarte draad. Het was helaas heel moeilijk om te fotograferen. Maar goed zo is het redelijk te zien. Het is dus een leuk sjaaltje geworden met een subtiel glittertje.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog and time our challenge is Needle and thread. I could have chosen to use real stitching on my card, which I really love, but I decided to showcase these cute scarfs. I made one of them and the other one is made by my mother. I used a really lovely yarn for the scarfs, but I cannot remember what it is called and I have combined it with black yarn. I t was really difficult to take pictures of these scarfs, but I think you can get the idea when you see these pictures. I love these scarfs with a little bit of shimmer.

Op het kaartje heb ik de afbeelding For you Quacky van de Digistamp boutique gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. De ballon heb ik gekleurd met de clear wink of stella brush pen en daarna heb ik glossy accents erop aan gebracht. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op mijn kaart heb ik blauw-wit gestreept papier geplakt waar ik eerst de tekst op heb geprint.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you the birthday card that I made for my aunt who was celebrating her birthday last week. On my card I used the image For you quacky from the Digistamp boutique. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I colored te balloon with the clear wink of stella brush pen and then I added glossy accents on top of it. Then I cut the image out and adhered it with foamtape on the card. I added a blue-white striped layer on the card after I printed the sentiment (Happy birthday) on it.

Stampfairy - Barry graduation

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer mijn wekelijkse Stampfairy kaartje. Deze keer heb ik alvast een examenkaartje gemaakt, want daar is het nu toch wel de tijd voor. Ik heb een afbeelding uit de Barry graduation collectie van Stampfairy gebruikt. Barry is ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en op Barry's neus heb ik glossy accents aangebracht. Ik heb Barry uitgeknipt en daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op de rode kaart heb ik een vlak zwart-wit gestreept papier geplakt. Rondom dit vlak heb ik met een witte gelpen een stiklijntjes getekend. De tekst is op de computer gemaakt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik nog een aantal witte hotfix steentjes geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting my weekly Stampfairy card. This time I made a graduation card, because right now the high schools are in their exam period here in The Netherlands. I used an image from the Barry graduation collection from Stampfairy. Barry is colored with my pencils and the black glaze pen and I added glossy accents on his nose. I have cut the image out and adhered it with foamtape on the card. On a red card I adhered a layer of black and white striped paper. I used the white gelpen to add aux stitching around the striped paper. I made the sentiment with the computer (hurray, congratulations with your diploma) and I adhered it with foamtape on the card. Then I added a couple of white hotfix gems.

 Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik een Tiddly Inks kaartje om te laten zien. Ik heb deze keer met één van de leuke pixie afbeeldingen gewerkt, namelijk Valentine pixie van Tiddly Inks. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om de afbeelding in te kleuren met vrolijke kleurtjes, want dat vond ik wel bij de afbeelding passen. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met de tekst geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Op mijn rode glitterkaart heb ik een strip streepjespapier uit het Country drive paperpad van Echo park geplakt. Ik heb er eerst een wit lintje omheen gebonden. Als laatste heb ik een aantal witte hotfix steentjes opgeplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a Tiddly Inks card. I decided to work with one of the pixie images, this is Valentine pixie from Tiddly Inks. I printed the image together with the sentiment. I decided I wanted to color the image in nice happy and bright colors, because I thought they were perfect for this image. As always I used my pencils and the black glaze pen to color the image. On my red glittercard I adhered a strip of striped paper from the Country drive paperpad from Echo park. I first wrapped a white ribbon around it. I also added a couple of white hotfix gems.

Proost op je verjaardag!

Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik een verjaardagskaartje om te laten zien. Ik heb op dit kaartje de afbeelding Cheers Alf van de Digistamp boutique gebruikt. Echt de perfecte afbeelding voor op een mannenkaartje. Ik heb de afbeelding niet in het zwart geprint maar in het bruin, om het geheel een net iets zachter uiterlijk te geven. Ook de tekst en het kader op de kaart zijn in deze bruintint geprint. Alf is ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb hem een geruite pet en overhemd gegeven, dat leek me leuk staan. Ik heb Alf uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I have another birthday card to show you. On this card I used the image Cheers Alf from the Digistamp boutique. He is really the perfect image to make a masculin card. I decided to change the image into a brown tint instead of the black, to give the image and card a softer look. I also printed the sentiment and frame in the same brown tint. I colored Alf with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I really love how his shirt and cap turned out. I cut the image out and adhered it with foamtape on the card.
