California poppy

Vandaag heb ik mijn eerste kaartje met copics gemaakt. Na al die verhalen erover heb ik er toch een paar gekocht. Ik was vorige week een dagje winkelen in Rotterdam en toen moest ik natuurlijk ook meteen even langs bij Harolds. Ze hebben daar momenteel een geweldige aanbieding voor de copic ciao's en ik heb er dus een paar gekocht om eens uit te proberen. Voor dit kaartje heb ik een stempel van whipper snapper gebruikt: California poppy en die is dus gekleurd met de copics. Heel leuk om te doen, maar nog wel even flink wennen. Onder de afbeelding zit een zwarte rechthoek die gesneden is met de lange deckled nestabilities. De kaart is van rood papicolor karton. De tekst is geprint. De kaart is verder afgemaakt met zwart-wit geruit lint en een paar zwart cabochons.

Today I have made my first copic card. After hearing all the stories about them I finally bought a couple of them. Last week I have been to Rotterdam for a shopping trip and off course we had to visit Harolds. They have an amazing sale on the copics at the moment, so I did buy some to try them out. On my card I used a stam from Whipper Snapper: California poppy and I colored it with the copics. It was real fun to do, but I still have to get used to them. The black rectangle was cut with the long deckled nestabilities. The card was made from red papicolor cardstock. The sentiment (get well) was computer generated. I finished the card off with the gingham ribbon and some black cabochons.

CAS21 - Make it sparkle!

Vandaag heb ik weer een kaartje gemaakt voor de nieuwe CAS challenge van deze week. Deze week is het de bedoeling om glitter of stickles op je kaartje te gebruiken. Ik heb op mijn kaartje de stempel van Changito de ballerina gebruikt. Ik heb eerst gekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden en daarna heb ik haar een glitterjurkje gegeven. Op de wangetjes heb ik een wit stipje gezet met een witte gelpen. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Voor het stempelen heb ik eerst de tekst geprint en daarna is de ballerina er boven gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Labels one nestabilities. Van het roze bazzil papier heb ik een strookje gesneden en deze heb ik geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Daarna heb ik de kaart afgemaakt met zwarte hotfix steentjes. Er zit er ook één op het bloemetje.

Today I made a card for the new CAS challenge of this week. This week you have to use glitter or stickles on your card. I used the stamp Changito ballerina from Stampendous on my card. I colored her first with koh-i-noor pencils and after that I added the glitter to her dress. On her cheeks I made a little dot with a white gelpen. The eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. Before I stamped the ballerina, I printed the sentiment and then I stamped her. After that I cut her out with the Labels one from nestabilities. I have a cut a strip from the pink bazzil paper and embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I finished off my card with a few black hotfix stones. I also added one to the flower.

Friday sketchers - Smookie

Gisteren heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van de friday sketchers van deze week. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik één van de geinige stempels uit de serie Smookie van Nellie Snellen gebruikt. Zie dat kleine muisje eens laveloos liggen onder bij het glas. :) Smookie het draakje is gekleurd met derwent potloden. De bubbels, slingers en het glas zijn gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. Ik heb op een witte vierkante kaart eerst de strepen geprint. Op een stukje papicolor papier heb ik daarna de stippen geprint. De bloemetjes zijn ponsjes en in de hartjes heb ik een hotfix steentje gebruikt. De tekst is een Nederlandse tekststempel van Stamping Bella en past natuurlijk perfect bij deze afbeelding!

Yesterday I made this card for the challenge from the friday sketchers blog. On my card I used one of the funny stamps of Smokey the little dragon from Nellie Snellen. Look at the little mouse that is totally drunk from everything he had. :) I colored Smokey with derwent pencils. I colored the bubbles and the glass with a clear spica glitter pen. I cut the image out with oval nestabilities. I printed on a white card the black lines. On a piece of papicolor paper I printed the black dots. The flowers are made with a punch and I added a blakc hotfix stone in the hearts. The sentiment (cheers!) is a dutch Stamping Bella sentiment stamp and it is perfect for my image!

Just Magnolia 11 - Sketch

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Just Magnolia. Ik heb gekozen voor de stempel van Tilda met haar kersen jurkje. Ik heb Tilda gekleurd met derwent potloden. Haar oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Na het kleuren heb ik Tilda uitgeknipt. Uit rood bazzil papier heb ik een kaart gesneden. Op een stukje wit papier heb ik met een kersen stempel en een stipjes stempel de achtergrond gemaakt. Ook deze kersjes zijn ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het rode randje is geponst met een pons van Martha Stewart. Er overheen zit een wit satijnen lintje met een strikje. De cirkels zijn uitgesneden met nestabilities. De tekst is gestempeld met de Everyday greetings set van Elzybells.

Today I made a card for the challenge of Just Magnolia. I used the stamp of Tilda with her cherry dress on my card. I have colored Tilda with my derwent pencils. Her eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. Then I have cut her out. I made my card from red Bazzil paper. On a piece of white paper I made the background with a cherry stamp and the dots stamp. I colored the cherries with my derwent pencils. The red strip of paper was punched with a punch from Martha Stewart and then I added a white satin ribbon. The circles were cut with nestabilities. The sentiment is from the clear stamp set Everyday greetings from Elzybells.

DU2DS 13 - Kim's sketch

Goedemorgen allemaal. Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging op het Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog. Deze week heeft Kim een geweldige sketch gemaakt die je moet gebruiken voor je kaartje. Kijk alsjeblieft ook op het blog om de andere geweldige creaties van de rest van het design team te zien. Ik heb een kaart gemaakt waarin je in de binnenkant een cadeaupasje kunt stoppen. Voor mijn kaart heb ik weer de geweldige afbeelding oriental blossom van Chris Dark - Sketchingstamper gebruikt. Ik blijf hem mooi vinden. Ik heb gekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb kristallen htofix steentjes geplakt in de hartjes van de bloemen. Deze keer heb ik er paarse bloesem van gemaakt. Ik weet niet of het echt bestaat, maar het staat op mijn kaartje wel mooi. :0 Ik heb op een lange strip wit papier de paarse streepjes geprint. Daarna heb ik de kaart in 3-en gevouwen. Eén stuk is naar binnen gevouwen, nadat ik eerst met een pons de hoeken rond had gemaakt en met dubbelzijdig tape vastgeplakt, zodat er een vakje ontstaat. In dit flapje had ik twee gaten gemaakt waardoor een wit satijn lintje gaat om het kaartje te sluiten. De tekst is gestempeld en is van de Nederlandse Stamping Bella teksten.

Good morning everyone. It is time again for another new challenge on the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog. This week we have a fabulous sketch from Kim. Please take a look at the blog to see all the great creations that have been made by the rest of the design team. I made a gift card holder. For my card I used again the Oriental blossom image from Chris Dark – Sketchingstamper. I can’t help it, I just like it very much. I have colored with derwent pencils. I added chrystal hotfix stones to the hearts of the blossoms. This time I made a lilac blossom. I don’t know if there is a lilac blossom, but I do like it on my card. :0 I printed the lilac stripes on a long strip of white paper. Then I folded the strip of paper in 3 parts. One part was folded to the inside of the card. I made the corners round with a punch and after that I used double sided tape to make a pocket. I made some holes and used a white satin ribbon to close the card with a little bow. I stamped the sentiment (congratulations) and it is a Dutch sentiment stamp from Stamping Bella.

Babycadeautje

Een tijdje geleden kreeg ik tijdens het winkelen een proefverpakking met Nivea shampoo. Het was verpakt in een leuk doosje en die heb ik natuurlijk meteen uit elkaar gehaald om na te maken. :) Ik heb mijn doosjes gemaakt van rose en blauw geruit papier. Ik heb een wit satijnen lintje gebruikt als sluiting. De afbeelding is een digitale stempel uit het setje Oh baby van CC. designs. Ik heb de babies gekleurd met derwent potloden. Daarna heb ik ze uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Op de scallops heb ik stipjes gezet met relief paint van decorfin.

A while ago I have gotten a sample with shampoo from Nivea. The shampoo was in a cute little box and off course I had to make my own box. :) I made my boxes from blue and pink gingham paper. I used white ribbon to close them. The images are from the digi stamp set Oh baby from CC. Designs. I colored the babies with derwent pencils. They were cut out with the circle nestabilities. The dots on the scallops were made with relief paint from decorfin.

Binnenin de verpakking zit een kaartje en een paar babysokjes. De babysokjes zijn verpakt in een plastic zakje. Ik heb met de nestabilities labels one een sluiting voor het zakje gemaakt. De rose steentjes zijn van hotfix en de blauwe steentjes heb ik ooit eens op een beurs gekocht. Op het label zit een strikje van wit satijn lint.

For the inside of the box I made a little card and I added a pair of baby socks. I used a little bag to put the socks in. To close the bag I used the nestabilities labels one. The pink stones are from hotfix and the blue stones are from my stash. On the labels I added a bow from white satin ribbon.

CAS 20 - Baa baa over you

Ik heb gisteravond nog een kaartje gemaakt voor de CAS challenge op SCS. Alhoewel ik weet niet of het wel een echte CAS kaart is, want er zitten aardig wat laagjes op. :) De kaart is verder heel simpel, dus ik beschouw hem toch maar als CAS. ;) Voor dit kaartje heb ik het clear stempelsetje From me to ewe van Elzybells gebruikt. Ik heb mijn schaap een blauw geruit vachtje gegeven. Ik heb hem verder ingekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en de stippen op de wangen zijn gemaakt met een witte souffle pen. Ik heb het schaap uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de rondjes geplakt. De rondjes zijn uitgesneden met nestabilities. De tekst komt uit hetzelfde setje en die is gestempeld met blauwe stempelinkt. De spiegelende hartjes zijn van hotfix.

I made another card for the CAS challenge on SCS. Although I am not sure if it is a real CAS card, because it has a lot of layers. :) The card is pretty simple, so I stil will call it CAS. ;) On my card I used the clear stamp set From me to ewe from Elzybells. I gave my little sheep a blue white gingham fur. I colored him with koh-i-noor pencils. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen and the dots on his cheeks are made with a white souffle pen. I cut the sheep out and used foamtape to mount him on the circles. The circles were cut with nestabilities. The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped with blue ink. The little mirror hearts are hotfix stones.

CAS 20 - Paper piecing

Ik heb vandaag weer een kaartje gemaakt voor de CAS challenge van deze week op SCS. Deze week is het de bedoeling dat je paper piecing ergens op je kaartje gebruikt. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik weer een geweldige afbeelding van Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper) gebruikt. Deze keer heb ik Vicky on the phone gebruikt. Ik heb Vicky een zwart wit stipjes shirt gegeven, nadat ik haar eerst had ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het tagje is van quickutz en het Hello heb ik erop gestempeld. Aan het tagje zit een zwart koordje waarmee ik het aan het zwart-wit geruite lintje heb gebonden.

Today I made a card for this week's CAS challenge on SCS. This week you have to use paper piecing somewhere on your card. On my card I used a great image from Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper): Vicky on the phone. I gave Vicky a black and white dotted shirt, after I first colored her with my derwent pencils. The tag is from quickutz and I stamped the Hello on top of it. I used a black cord to attach the tag to the black and white gingham ribbon.

Vaderdag

Vandaag is het vaderdag en deze kaart heb ik aan mijn vader gegeven. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de sketch van de sketch saturday blog gevolgd, want die was perfect voor een grote afbeelding. Ik heb er alleen geen vierkante kaart van gemaakt maar een rechthoekige. De afbeelding van de gruffies beer heb ik ooit eens gekregen. Ik heb de beer ingekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden. Met een zwarte glaze pen heb ik wat accentjes getekend op de kaart, zoals op de neus, de ogen, de schroefjes en het woord honey. Op een witte kaart heb ik de groene strepen achtergrond geprint. De sterretjes zijn van hotfix en ik vond ze wel lekker stoer voor op een mannenkaart. De tekst is een tekststempeltje van Stamping Bella. Ik heb met groene stempelinkt de randen beinkt.

Today is father's day and I made this card for my father. For my card I followed the sketch from the sketch saturday blog, because it is perfect for a large image. I didn't make a square card, but I used an A5 paper for my card. I have colored the gruffies bear with koh-i-noor pencils. With my black glaze pen I have added some accents to the image, like on the nose, the eyes, the screws and the word honey. On a white card I printed the green lines. The stars are from hotfix and I think they are perfect for a male card. The sentiment (for you) is a dutch sentiment stamp from Stamping Bella. I inked the edges with green ink.

Kelly en Melanie

Vandaag ga ik een vriendin helpen met het partijtje van haar dochter. Ze gaan een hotfixparty doen. Ze heeft me al gewaarschuwd voor de 8 heftig puberende meiden, dus dat zal wat worden. :) Ik heb een klein cadeautje gemaakt voor de jarige job en ook voor haar zusje heb ik een klein cadeautje gemaakt. Voor de beide dames heb ik celebrations gekocht. Ik kon ze natuurlijk zo geven, maar dat is niet leuk, dus ik heb even wat leuks in elkaar gefrutselt voor ze. Ik had nog 2 lege doosjes staan waar eerst pinda's in hebben gezeten. Ik heb de celebrations in die doosjes gedaan en daarna de deksels versierd. Voor Kelly heb ik gekozen voor een rose ruitje want ze is gek op rose. Kelly houdt ook van feeën, dus ik heb de stempel van Agnes Ketto van Stamping Bella gekozen voor haar. Ik heb gekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. De vleugeltjes en de rose delen van haar rokje zijn gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Onder aan haar rokje hangen allemaal balletjes en daar heb ik zwarte hotfix steentjes op geplakt. Ik heb een strikje van wit satijn lint gemaakt. De bloemetjes zijn ponsjes met een zwarte cabochon in het midden. De naam Kelly is gemaakt met het Olivia alfabet van quickutz.

Today I am going to help my friend with the birthdayparty from her daughter. She is going to give a hotfixparty. I made a little present for the birthday girl and for her little sister I also made a present. I have bought celebrations for both girls. I could have given them in their own box, but that is no fun, so I made them a fun box. I had two plastic boxes that had peanuts in them before and I decorated the lids of those. For Kelly I have chosen a pink gingham background, because she really loves pink. She also loves fairies, so I have chosen the stamp Agnes Ketto from Stamping Bella. I coloured her with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. The wings and the pink parts of her skirt were colored with a clear spica glitter pen. I used little black hotfix stones for the little ball under her skirt. I made a bow from white satin ribbon. The flowers are punches and I used a black cabochon in the middle of the flower. The name Kelly was made with the Olivia alphabet from quickutz.

Voor Melanie heb ik hetzelfde gedaan. Ik heb alleen voor een andere stempel en een ander kleurtje gekozen. Melanie is wat ouder en dus vond ik daar een gorjuss girl van sugar nellie goed bij passen. Volgens mij heb ik ook ooit eens opgevangen dat ze paars een mooie kleur vond, dus voor haar een paars doosje. Ik heb de platen op de bovenkant met foamtape op de doosjes geplakt. In het midden zit geen foamtape en daar loopt een heel breed wit lint onder de afbeelding door, want ik heb om de doosjes een hele grote strik van wit lint gedaan.

I did the same thing for Melanie. I did choose another stamp and another color for her. Melanie is a bit older and I thought the gorjuss girl from sugar nellie was perfect for her. I think she likes lilac, so I made her a lilac box. I attached the cards with foamtape to the lids of the boxes. In the middle I didn't use foamtape and there is a big white ribbon. I tied it together on the front of the box.
