Memory dex - Hello honey bee

Hallo, ik vond dat het weer eens tijd werd om een nieuw kaartje te maken voor mijn Memory dex. Deze keer heb ik de schattige afbeelding Cute baby bee van Modgey moko voor gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Met de Stencils SL120 (retired) van Studio light heb ik het memory dex kaartje gemaakt van geel en wit karton. Op de witte laag heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton getekend. Met de Slimline grass, horizon, clouds (CR1583) van Marianne design heb ik een grasrandje uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb het gra gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met het gras met foamtape op het Memory dex kaartje geplakt. Als laatste heb ik een tekst van de set Sweet honey bee van Honey bee stamps op het kaartje gestempeld. 

Hello, I thought it was time again to make a new card for my Memory dex. This time I have used the very cute image Cute baby bee from Modgey moko. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. 

With the set Stencils SL120 (retired) from Studio light I have cut a memory dex card from yellow and white cardstock. On the white layer I have made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. With a black fineliner I have drawn a line around the edges of the white card. With the Slimline grass, horizon, clouds (CR1583) from Marianne design I have cut a grass border and then I coloured it with Twisted citron, Mowed lawn and Rustic wilderness Distress ink. I have glued the grass together with the image with foamtape on the Memory dex card. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set Sweet honey bee from Honey bee stamps on the card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Summer sun

Hallo, vandaag post ik de kaart die ik heb gemaakt voor de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag zomerse kaarten zien met een zonnetje op je kaart. Ik heb een verjaardagskaart gemaakt met één van mijn favoriete afbeeldingen Fish with Jake van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. 

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de set Splash (CL-ES-CD540) van Creative craft lab. Op de tweede laag is de lucht gekleurd met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Het gras is gestanst met de Grassy hills (retired) van My favorite things en daarna gekleurd met Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt. Uit restjes wit karton heb ik de zon en wolken gestanst met de Sun and clouds (SCCOD018-retired) van Nellie Snellen crafts. De zon is gekleurd met Wild honey en Carved pumpkin Distress inkt. Nadat ik de zon en de wolken op de kaart heb geplakt, heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op het gras heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld. Uit rood karton heb ik naam en leeftijd van het jongetje waar de kaart voor is gestanst met het Stencil SL355 and Stencil SL358 van Studio light. 

Hello, today I am posting a card that I have made for the new challenge on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This time we would like to see summer cards with the sun on them. I have made a birthday card with one of my favourite images Fish with Jake from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. 

I have made a card with the set Splash (CL-ES-CD540) from Creative craft lab. on the second layer I have coloured the sky with Peacock feathers Distress ink. From red cardstock I have cut the name and age of the little boy that will be receiving this card with Stencil SL355 and Stencil SL358 from Studio light and then I glued them on the clouds.

Hallo, ik ben nog wel bezig met World watercolour maand, maar ben er nog niet aan toegekomen om mijn werkjes online te plaatsen. Op 5 juli heb ik een kleine mini tutorial van Rebel unicorn crafts gevolgd op instagram. Ik heb de Let's paint a magical night in the forest op instagram gedaan.

Ik heb mijn tekening gemaakt op het 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met Mijello mission gold aquarelverf. Op de achtergrond heb ik kleine verfspatjes aangebracht met een goud kleur uit de set Metallic watercolours van Painter sisters. Daarna heb ik met een zwarte en witte Uni Posca pennen de bomen en nog wat sterren getekend. 

Hello. I am still busy with World watercolour month, but I haven't been able to post my work online. On the 5th of july I have followed a mini tutorial from Rebel unicorn crafts. I have done the Let's paint a magical night in the forest on instagram. 

I have made my drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. The background sky is made with Mijello mission gold watercolours. With a gold colour from the Metallic watercolours from Painter sisters I have added paint splatters. Then I have drawn the trees and stars with black and white Uni Posca pens.

Hallo, ik heb weer een nieuwe tutorial van de Happy painting club gevolgd voor World watercolour maand. Deze keer heb ik de tutorial Biene malen op youtube gedaan. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt in het Paint on Mixed media Sketchbook 14x14 cm van Clairefontaine. Ik heb de schets overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Neocolor II crayons van Caran D'ache. Met een witte en zwarte Posca pen heb ik kleine accentjes op de afbeelding aangebracht. 

Hello, I have followed a new tutorial from the Happy painting club for World watercolour month. This time I have done the tutorial Biene malen on youtube. I have made the drawing in the Paint on Mixed media Sketchbook 14x14 cm from Clairefontaine. I have traced the image with a black fineliner and then I coloured my bee with the Neocolor II crayons from Caran D'ache. With a black and white Posca pen I have added little accents on the drawing.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een bloem die ik heb geschilderd voor World watercolour maand. Ik ga proberen deze maand allemaal (korte) tutorials te volgen om zo lekker bezig te zijn met aquarelverf. Deze keer heb ik een kleine tutorial van Artsy space gevolgd. Ik heb de How to paint Echinacea of Coneflower op youtube gedaan. Ik heb de schets met potlood gemaakt in mijn Watercolour book 100% cotton 14x14 cm van Hahnemühle en daarna heb ik de bloem gekleurd met Schmincke aquarelverf. Ik heb rondom de bloem kleine verfspatjes aangebracht met de kleuren verf die ik in de afbeelding heb gebruikt. 

Hello, today I am posting a flower that I have painted for World watercolour month. I am trying to follow many (short) tutorials this month. This way I get to enjoy watercolouring every day. Today I followed a little tutorial from Artsy space. I have done the How to paint Echinacea of Coneflower on youtube. I sketched the flower with a pencil in my Watercolour book 100% cotton 14x14 cm from Hahnemühle and then I painted the flower with Schmincke watercolours. I have added tiny paint splatters around the image with the same colours that I used for the flower.

Hallo vandaag post ik een tag die ik heb gemaakt voor World watercolour maand. Deze maand is een officiële viering voor het medium aquarel. De bedoeling van deze maand is om anderen te inspireren om ook te gaan aquarelleren. Bovendien wordt hierdoor extra aandacht gegeven aan het belang van kunst en creativiteit. Er is een lijst van prompts en vele sites en facebook groepen hebben challenges, maar je mag ook gewoon zelf iets leuks maken. Ik ga proberen om de komende maand iedere dag iets te maken met aquarel of gouache en ik probeer het dan hier te posten. Ik ben benieuwd hoe ver ik ga komen. ;)

Hello, today I am posting a tag that I have made for World watercolour month. This month is an official celebration for the medium watercolour. This month is meant to inspire others to do some watercoloring. It also shows the importance of art and creativity. There is a list of prompts and there are many challenges in facebookgroups, but you can also make something that you want to make. I am going to try to post something with watercolor or gouache every day the coming month. I am curious if I am able to finish the month. ;)

Voor dag 2 ben geïnspireerd door een filmpje van CreationsCeecee. In het filmpje Simple flowers with a big watercolour brush op youtube maakt ze fantasiebloemen en dat leek mij ook erg leuk om te doen. Met de Labels vintage & recht van Leane Creatief heb ik een label uit Classic Aquarelpapier Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr van Winsor & Newton gestanst en hier heb ik mijn tekening op gemaakt met Wax aquarell potloden van Koh-I-Noor. Daarna heb ik nog accentjes op de afbeelding aangebracht met zwarte en witte Uni Posca pennen. 

For day 2 I was inspired by a video from CreationsCeecee, In the video Simple flowers with a big watercolour brush on youtube she is painting fantasy flowers and I thought it would be fun to make my own version. I have cut a big label with the Labels vintage & recht from Leane Creatief from Classic Aquarelpapier Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr from Winsor & Newton. I have made my drawing on it with the Wax aquarell pencils from Koh-I-Noor. Then I added accents on the drawing with black and white Uni Posca pens.

Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt - Sinaasappel in 3 verschillende kleurmediums

Hallo, vandaag post ik een tekening die ik heb gemaakt door een kleine tutorial van Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt te volgen. Ik hou heel erg van de stijl van Anastasia, alhoewel ik nog wel een beetje moeite heb om buiten de lijntjes te kleuren. ;) Het leek me leuk om het takje met de sinaasappels in 3 verschillende kleurmediums te doen en dat was heel erg leuk om te doen. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt op het 1264 Watercolour papier van Fabriano. De eerste versie van de sinaasappels is gemaakt met de Color eno potloden van Pilot. Dit is een serie gekleurde vulpotloden. Het bruine kleurtje moest ik zelf mengen. 

Hello, today I am posting a drawing that I have made after I followed a little tutorial from Anastasia Salinger - Handgemalt. I really love the style from Anastasia, although colouring outside the lines is still a bit hard for me to do. ;) I thought it would be fun to draw the oranges with 3 different colouring mediums and that was real fun to do. I have made my drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. The first version of the orange is done with the Color eno pencils from Pilot. That is a coloured mechanical pencil. I had to blend the brown colour myself.

Voor de tweede versie heb ik de tekening eerst overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Dual tip brush markers van Ohuhu. Ik heb bij deze tekening geprobeerd de afbeelding netjes te blenden

For the second version I first traced my sketch with a black fineliner and then I coloured the oranges with the Dual tip brush markers from Ohuhu. I tried to blend the colours really well on this version.

De laatste versie lijkt het meeste op de stijl van Anastasia. De afbeelding is na het schetsen overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner en daarna heb ik gekleurd met Schmincke aquarelverf. Het was de bedoeling om nog iets meer buiten de lijntjes te kleuren, maar dat is me nog niet helemaal gelukt. ;) Ik vind mijn derde versie wel de mooiste van de 3 verschillende kleurmediums. 

The last version is the most in the style of Anastasia. After I made the sketch I traced the image with a black fineliner and then I coloured the oranges with Schmincke watercolours. I wanted to colour more outside of the lines, but that was still really hard for me. ;) I do love the version the most out of the 3 different versions.

As you like it challenge 261 - Plain or patterned paper?

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Amanda Jayne designs. Voor de challenge willen we deze keer graag weten of je liever met designpapier of juist karton. Ik ben niet heel goed met designpapier en als ik het gebruik dan is het meestal maar 1 velletje en dan ook nog vaak met een subtiel patroontje erop. Ik vind het ook erg leuk om een kaartje te maken met alleen karton. Soms in kleur en soms gewoon wit en dan geef ik het zelf een kleurtje door er inkt op te blenden. Vandaag heb ik gekozen voor wit en roze karton en meer was er niet nodig. 

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met een digitale stempel van onze sponsor Lollipop bunny van Amanda Jayne designs. Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de roze strepen op de lolly ook nog gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb van wit karton een mini slimline kaart gemaakt. Met de Mini slimline fancy scalloped dies van Kats scrappiness heb ik een rechthoek uit roze karton gestanst en die heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst is met de Lots of love dies (662121) van Sizzix uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik deze naast de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart daarna nog versierd met witte hotfix steentjes. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and we are being sponsored by Amanda Jayne designs. For this challenge we want to know if you prefer working with plain cardstock or patterned paper. I am not a big fan of patterned paper, because I think it is hard to use. Most of the times when I use it I just use one sheet with a subtle pattern. But I also really enjoy making cards with just cardstock. Sometimes it is coloured and sometimes it is white and I am adding my own colour with ink blending. For our challenge today I decided to go for coloured cardstock, pink and white and I don't think my card needs anything else.

I have made a card with a digital stamp from our sponsor Lollipop bunny from Amanda Jayne designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have coloured the pink parts of the lollipop with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have made a mini slimline card from white cardstock. I have cut a layer for my card from pink cardstock with the  Mini slimline fancy scalloped dies from Kats scrappiness. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. I have cut the sentiment from white cardstock with the Lots of love dies (662121) from Sizzix and then I glued them next to the image on the card. I have decorated the card with white hotfix gems.

Whimsy stamps - Sending hugs!

Hallo, vandaag post ik een nieuw kaartje voor Whimsy stamps en dat is vandaag mijn laatste kaartje als lid van hun design team. Ik heb namelijk besloten om te stoppen met het designteam. Dat was een moeilijke keuze omdat ik echt heb genoten van mijn tijd bij Whimsy stamps, maar voor nu is het beter om te stoppen. :) Ik wil iedereen bij Whimsy stamps enorm bedanken voor de hele fijne tijd! Ik heb er van genoten!

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de afbeelding Bella to the rescue (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op de voorkant van een witte kaart heb ik de randen van de kaart gemaskerd met tape en daarna heb ik met het It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) van Whimsy stamps en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een golvenrand getekend en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Ik heb het water gekleurd met Prize ribbon en Chipped sapphire Distress inkt en daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen kleine accentjes op de achtergrond aangebracht. Ik heb het water gedeelte met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ook met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik een tekst van de set Sending sunshine clear stamps (CWSD225) van Whimsy stamps op de kaart gestempeld. 

Hello, today I am posting a new card for Whimsy stamps and today it will be my last post as a member for their design team. I have decided to leave the team. It was a difficult choice, because I really enjoyed my time at Whimsy stamps, but for now it is better to leave the team. :) I want to thank everyone at Whimsy stamps for the great time! I have made a card with the image Bella to the rescue (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. On the front of the card I have masked the edges of the card with masking tape. I have used the It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) from Whimsy stamps and Tumbled glass distress ink to create a cloudy background. I have drawn waves on white cardstock and then I g=have fussy cut it. I have coloured the water with Prize ribbon and Chipped sapphire Distress ink and with a white gelpen I have little accents on the water. I have glued the water with foamtape on the card and then I added the image also with foamtape. Then I have stamped a sentiment from the set Sending sunshine clear stamps (CWSD225) from Whimsy stamps on the card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Make it funny

Hallo, ik ben vandaag wat later met mijn kaartje voor de nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog. Voor de challenge deze keer willen we graag een grappig kaartje zien.

Ik heb een verjaardagskaartje (met een grapje binnenin) gemaakt met de digitale stempel Up up and away van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op de voorkant van een witte kaart heb ik blauw streepjes papier van het Sleek striped paper pack van Sunny studio stamps geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 van Crealies een rechthoek gestanst die ik met foamtape op de kaart heb geplakt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Tiny type van Clearly besotted stamps op wit karton gestempeld en nadat ik deze heb uitgeknipt heb ik de tekst op de kaart geplakt. 

Hello, today I am a bit late with my card for the new challenge on the Di's digi designs challenge blog. This week we would love to see funny cards.

I have made a birthday card (with a little joke inside) with the digital stamp Up up and away from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the images. On the front of a white card I have glued blue striped paper from the Sleek striped paper pack from Sunny studio stamps. I have cut a rectangle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 from Crealies and glued it on the card with foamtape. Then I added the images also with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Tiny type from Clearly besotted stamps on white cardstock and after I have cut it, I have added it on the card.

Binnen in de kaart heb ik een grappige tekst van de set Laugh out loud again van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld met zwarte inkt.
