Illustration - Fantasy flowers with Neocolor II

Hallo, ik kwam op instagram een leuke illustratie tegen van Julieadore en het leek me leuk om daar een eigen versie van te maken. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt in het Paint on Mixed media Sketchbook 14x14 cm van Clairefontaine. Ik heb de tekening gemaakt met de Neocolor II crayons van Caran D'ache. Ik heb de bloemen niet eerst geschetst, maar ik heb ze meteen met de krijtjes getekend. Dat was heel leuk om eens te proberen. Met de zwarte en witte posca pennen heb ik extra details op de bloemen aangebracht. 

Hello, recently I saw a lovely illustration from Julieadore on instagram and I thought it would be fun to make my own version. I have made the drawing in the Paint on Mixed media Sketchbook 14x14 cm from Clairefontaine. I have made the drawing with the Neocolor II crayons from Caran D'ache. I did't start with sketching the flowers but this time immediatly have drawn them with the crayons and that was real fun to do. With the Black and white posca pens I have added extra accents on the flowers.

Hallo, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje voor Whimsy stamps en deze keer heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de afbeelding Penguin beach chair (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst.  Daarna heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst. Met de Grassy and cloud edger dies (WSD421) van Whimsy stamps heb ik golven gemaakt en die heb ik daarna gekleurd met Peacock feathers Distress inkt en een witte gelpen. Op het andere vierkant heb ik met Tumbled glass distress inkt en het It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) van Whimsy stamps een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb daarna de golven en de afbeelding op het vierkant geplakt. Ik heb het vierkant daarna met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) van Whimsy stamps op de kaart gestempeld.

Hello, today I am posting a new card for Whimsy stamps and this time I have made a card with the image Penguin beach chair (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut a square from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. I have cut another square from white cardstock with the same dies. With the Grassy and cloud edger dies (WSD421) from Whimsy stamps I have made some waves and then I coloured them with Peacock feathers Distress ink and a white gelpen. On the other square I have made a background for the image with Tumbled glass distress ink and the It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) from Whimsy stamps. I have glued the waves and the image on the background. I have glued the square with foamtape on a white card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) from Whimsy stamps on the card.

Karin Joan - 3 ijsjes met Derwent inktense potloden

Hallo, vandaag post ik een tekening die ik heb gemaakt na een workshop van Karin Joan. Deze moest ik afgelopen weekend gewoon wel maken tijdens het warme weer hier in Nederland. Ik heb de workshop Watercolor ijsjes - Drie klassiekers gevolgd. Ik heb de schets op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano gemaakt en daarna heb de ijsjes gekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden en een witte gelpen. Het was weer heel leuk om te doen!

Hello, today I am posting a drawing that I have made after I followed a workshop from Karin Joan. I just had to do this one last weekend, because it is really hot right now in the Netherlands. I have done the Watercolor ijsjes - Drie klassiekers. I have made my sketch on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano and then I used the Derwent inktense pencils and a white gelpen to colour the ice. I really  had fun!

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Amanda Jayne designs. We willen deze keer graag een kaartje zien voor de gelegenheid waar je het liefste kaarten voor maakt op een verjaardagskaart na. Ik maak graag kaartjes om iemand te laten weten dat ik aan hem of haar denk en dat kan heel mooi met een hallo-kaartje.

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de schattige koala van de Aussie friends set (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Boho circles die set van Whimsy stamps heb ik een cirkel uit de voorkant van een witte kaart gestanst. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de rand van de cirkel en de rand van de kaart getekend. Ik heb de koala achter het gat geplakt. Binnen in de kaart heb ik groen gestreept papier van het Mix-n-match 1 paperpack van Whimsy stamps geplakt zodat dit precies achter de cirkel valt. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik een tekst van de set Sending sunshine clear stamps (CWSD225) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld.

I love to use a simple hello card for that. 

I have made a card with the cute koala from the Aussie friends set (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. With the Boho circles die set from Whimsy stamps I have cut a circle out of the front of a white card. With a black fineliner I have drawn a line around the edges of the card and the circle. I have glued the image behind the opening. Inside the card I have glued green striped paper from the Mix-n-match 1 paperpack from Whimsy stamps, so it is exactly behind the circle. On the front of the card I have stamped a sentiment from the set Sending sunshine clear stamps (CWSD225) from Whimsy stamps.

Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies. Op een witte kaart heb ik roze gestreept papier van het Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) van Whimsy stamps geplakt nadat ik er eerst een wit lintje omheen gebonden heb. Ik heb de cirkel met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een tekst van de set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) van Whimsy stamps gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze gestanst met de Quick strips die set van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de tekst met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

I have glued the banner with foamtape on the card.

Di's digi designs challenge - Beverages

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een drankje op je kaartje of project zien. Ik heb een klein cadeaudoosje gemaakt voor theezakjes voor deze challenge.

Op het doosje heb ik de digitale stempel Time for a cuppa van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb het doosje met de Silhouette cameo gemaakt van roze karton. Op de deksel van het doosje heb ik eerst wit karton geplakt. Daarop heb ik een rechthoek geplakt die ik van het Black dot paper van Marjoleine heb gesneden. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het stippenpapier geplakt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een tekst van de set Simple script van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies. Ik heb de cirkel ook met foamtape op het doosje geplakt. Het doosje sluit met een strikje van wit lint.

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we want to see a beverage on your card. I have made a little gift box that holds a couple of tea bags for this challenge. 

On the box I have used the digital stamp Time for a cuppa from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have made the box with the help of the Silhouette cameo from pink cardstock. On the lid I first glued white cardstock and on top of that I glued black paper that I have cut from a sheet Black dot paper from Marjoleine. I have glued the image with foamtape on the dotted paper. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple script from Clearly besotted stamps on white cardstock and then I have cut it with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies. I have glued the circle with foamtape on the box. The box closes with a bow from white ribbon.

Ik heb het doosje gevuld met zakjes thee.

I have filled the box with tea bags.

Kaketoe met Derwent inktense potloden

Hallo, afgelopen maandag heb ik een workshop van op facebook gevolgd. Hierin gingen we een kaketoe inkleuren met de (nieuwe) Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb met een zwarte fineliner de tekening overgetrokken op Classic Aquarelpapier Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr van Winsor & Newton en daarna heb ik de vogel gekleurd met de Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb met een gele kleur van de Derwent inktense paint pan travel set rondom de afbeelding een vlak gemaakt en daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen accenten op de tekening aangebracht. Het was weer leuk om te werken met de Derwent inktense potloden en ik ben ook erg blij met de 28 nieuwe kleuren die een hele mooie aanvulling op de oude set potloden zijn.

Hello, on monday I have followed  a workshop from on facebook, In this workshop we were going to colour a cockatoo drawing with the (new) derwent inktense pencils. I have traced the drawing with a black fineliner on Classic Aquarelpapier Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr from Winsor & Newton and then I coloured the image with my Derwent inktense pencils. I have used a yellow colour from the Derwent inktense paint pan travel set to colour around the bird and then I used a white gelpen to add some accents on the bird drawing. I really enjoyed working with the Derwent inktense pencils again and really enjoy the new 28 colours. They are the perfect addition to the original set. 

Het leek me ook nog leuk om nog een versie van de kaketoe te maken en online kwam ik de rosé kaketoe tegen en die heb ik geprobeerd om na te maken. Deze keer heb ik de tekening met een zwarte fineliner overgetrokken op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. Ook deze keer heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb met deze potloden ook nog kleine verfspatjes rondom de afbeelding gemaakt. 

I thought it would be fun to make another version and when I was looking online I found the pink cockatoe and I have tried to make one myself. This time I traced the image with a black fineliner on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. The bird was again coloured with Derwent inktense pencils. I used those pencils to add some paint splatters around the image.

Ik heb de afbeelding Frog prince (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Mini slim tag die set (WSD343a) van Whimsy stamps heb ik een tag uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb de onderkant van de tag ook nog eens uit groen stipjespapier van het Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) van Whimsy stamps gestanst. Op de witte tag heb ik met het It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) van Whimsy stamps en Tumbled glass Distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) van Whimsy stamps op wit karton gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een kader rondom de tekst getekend en daarna heb ik de tekst uitgeknipt en op de tag geplakt.

I have cut the bottom part of the tag from green dotted paper from the Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) from Whimsy stamps. On the tag I have made a background with the It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) from Whimsy stamps and Tumbled glass Distress ink. I glued the dotted paper on the tag and then I glued the image with foamtape on the tag. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Everyday scripted sentiments (CWSD155) from Whimsy stamps on white cardstock. With a black fineliner I have drawn a frame around the sentiment, I have fussy cut it and then I glued it on the tag.

Happy painting club - Two neon cats

Hallo, vandaag post ik weer een tekening die ik heb gemaakt volgens de stijl van de Happy painting club. Deze keer heb ik katten geschetst op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner. Deze keer heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met de Brighter than bright watercolour set van Art by Marlene. Daarna heb ik nog extra details op de afbeelding aangebracht met een zwarte fineliner en een witte gelpen.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt de challenge gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Voor deze challenge willen we graag weten of je liver kaarten maakt met pastel kleuren of juist felle kleuren. Ik maak graag kaarten in felle kleuren. Ik vind het gewoon erg leuk als de kleuren goed opvallen. Het maakt me vrolijk.

Ik heb voor deze challenge een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Swim time mouse (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb een slimline kaart gemaakt van rood karton. Uit wit karton heb ik een aantal rechthoeken gestanst met de Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) van Whimsy stamps. Op één van de rechthoeken heb ik een achtergrond gemaakt met het It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) van Whimsy stamps en Tumbled glass Distress inkt. Ik heb van één van de andere rechthoeken 2 zandheuveltjes geknipt en die heb ik gekleurd met Scattered straw, Brushed corduroy en Vintage photo Distress inkt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik nog wat extra accentjes op het zand getekend. Ik heb ook nog zelf golven getekend en die uitgeknipt. De stukken met de golven zijn gekleurd met Salvaged patina, Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon en Prize ribbon Distress inkt. Ook hier heb ik accentjes met de witte gelpen getekend. Ik heb eerst de golven op de achtergrond geplakt, daarna het strand en daarna heb ik de muis met foamtape op de achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Sending sunshine clear stamps (CWSD225) van Whimsy stamps op wit karton gestempeld en die heb ik daarna uitgestanst met de Quick strips die set van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de strip boven de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt.

I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. I have made a slimline card from red cardstock. I have cut a couple of squares from white cardstock with the Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) from Whimsy stamps. On one of the squares I made a background with the It's cloudy - 6x9 stencil (WSS107c) from Whimsy stamps and Tumbled glass Distress ink. I have cut a couple of sandhills from one of the other rectangles and I coloured those with Scattered straw, Brushed corduroy and Vintage photo Distress ink. I added some extra accents on the sand with a white gelpen. On one of the other rectangles I have drawn waves and I have fussy cut those. I coloured those with Salvaged patina, Peacock feathers, Mermaid lagoon, Prize ribbon Distress ink. Here I also added extra details with a white gelpen. I first glued the waves on the cloudy background, then I added the sandhills. I have glued the mouse image with foamtape on the background. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Sending sunshine clear stamps (CWSD225) from Whimsy stamps on white cardstock and then I have cut the sentiment with a die from the Quick strips die set from Whimsy stamps. I have glued the strip on the top of the card.
