Whimsy stamps - Do what makes you happy

Hallo, het is weer tijd voor een nieuw kaartje voor Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik de afbeelding A good ending (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps op kraft papier gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met de Pablo coloured potloden van Caran d'ache, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb het blenden met de potloden zelf gedaan. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies. Ik heb van oranje karton een grote banner gesneden. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van de banner getekend en daarna heb ik de banner op een kraft kaart geplakt. Ik heb het vierkant met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik een tekst van de set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) van Whimsy stamps op de banner gestempeld.

Hello, it is time again for a new card for Whimsy stamps. This time I printed the image A good ending (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps on kraft paper. I have coloured the image with the Pablo coloured pencils from Caran d'ache, a black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I did the blending with the pencils. I have die cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. I have cut a large banner from orange cardstock and with a black fineliner I have drawn lines around the edges of the banner. I have glued the banner on a kraft card. Then I glued the square with the image with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) from Whimsy stamps under the image on the banner.

Alexis Cantu - Penguin workshop

Hallo, vorige week had ik vakantie en dus lekker de tijd om een workshop van Alexis Cantu te volgen. Deze keer heb ik de Penguin workshop op facebook gedaan. Ik heb de schets met potlood overgetrokken op Baohong masters' choice bloc medium en daarna heb ik geschilderd met Mijello mission gold watercolours. Het was weer een erg leuke workshop en het was door de duidelijke uitleg van Alexis heel goed te volgen. 

Hello, last week I was enjoying a week off from work and I was able to do a workshop from 

Alexis Cantu. This time I did the Penguin workshop on facebook. I have painted the penguins on 

Baohong masters' choice bloc medium. I have painted them with the Mijello mission gold watercolours. I really enjoyed this workshop and it was pretty easy to follow because Alexis explains everything very well.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt de challenge gesponsord door Last minute manda. Voor onze challenge willen we graag weten of je liever kaarten maakt voor mannen of vrouwen. De meeste projecten die ik maak zijn meer vrouwelijk. Ik hou gewoon van roze en paars (hoewel je dat natuurlijk ook voor mannen/jongens kunt gebruiken). Ik gebruik graag een strikje op mijn project en dat is ook meer vrouwelijk. Ik heb daarom ook deze keer een verjaardagscadeautje voor een vrouw gemaakt. 

Ik heb een kleine cadeauverpakking gemaakt voor een verjaardag. Binnen in het kaartje heb ik een vakje gemaakt voor een cadeaukaart en een klein reepje chocolade. Ik heb als versiering één van de schattige konijntjes van de set Floral friends van Isabel Cristina stamps gebruikt. Na het printen van de afbeelding heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Pablo coloured pencils van Caran d'ache. Deze keer heb ik het blenden met de potloden zelf gedaan en dus niet met reukloze terpentine. Na het inkleuren heb ik de oogjes van het konijntje gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen accenten op de afbeelding aangebracht. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Distressed tags (CO727712) van Couture creations heb ik een tag uit wit karton gestanst. Op de tag heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees gestempeld. Onder op de tag heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Mijn kaartje is gemaakt van paars karton. Ik heb de tag met foamtape op het kaartje geplakt. Om het kaartje te sluiten heb ik wit lint gebruikt. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time our challenge is being sponsored by Last minute manda. For our challenge we want to know if you prefer making cards for men or women. Most of the projects that I make are more feminine. I really love using the colour pink (although you can use that colour also on projects for boys/men). I also love using bows and flowers on my projects. They are more feminine.

This time I have made a little birthday project for a woman. It is a little card with a pocket inside that holds a giftcard and some chocolate. I have decorated the outside of the card with one of the cute images from the set Floral friends from Isabel Cristina stamps. After I printed the bunny I coloured it with the Pablo coloured pencils from Caran d'ache. I did the blending with the pencils and didn't use a blending solution. I have fussy cut the image. With the Distressed tags (CO727712) from Couture creations I have cut a tag from white cardstock. On bottom of the tag I have stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions. Then I also stamped with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees on the tag. I have glued the image with foamtape on the tag. My card is made from purple cardstock and I added the tag on it with foamtape. The card closes with a bow from white ribbon.

Binnen in het kaartje heb ik een vakje gemaakt voor de cadeaukaart en de chocolade van wit karton. De strip wit karton steek je in het vakje en zo vallen de cadeautjes er niet zo snel uit. Op het vakje heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld. Ook hier heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees gestempeld. De twee bloemetjes komen ook uit de set Floral friends van Isabel Cristina stamps. Na het inkleuren heb ik ze uitgeknipt en op het vakje geplakt. 

Inside the card I have made a little pocket for the gift card and the chocolate from white cardstock. You can put the strip of white cardstock inside the pocket so the giftcard and chocolate will not fall out of the pocket. On the pocket I have stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions. I also stamped on it with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees. The two flowers are also from the set Floral friends from Isabel Cristina stamps. After I coloured them, I fussy cut them out and glued them on the pocket.

Whimsy stamps - A little home deco project for my craftroom

Hallo, vandaag post ik een leuk klein schilderijtje dat ik heb gemaakt voor mijn hobbykamer. Ik heb het gemaakt met producten van Whimsy stamps. 

Ik ben al vanaf dat ik het Rainbow paperpack (WSDP08) van Whimsy stamps heb gekocht helemaal gek van dit vel papier uit de set. Ik maak alleen niet zo vaak hele grote kaarten en ik wilde hem graag in zijn geheel gebruiken. Daarom heb ik bij de action een leuk schilderij lijstje gekocht waar het vel mooi in past. Daarna heb ik met de Cutie ABC die set van Whimsy stamps uit zwart karton een tekst gemaakt die goed bij mij past. ;) Ik gebruik erg graag de regenboog kleuren op mijn kaarten. Met een witte gelpen heb ik kleine accentjes op de letters aangebracht. De woorden "is my" zijn met een alfabet stans die ik al heel lang heb, uitgestanst. Daarna heb ik het vel op wit karton geplakt en daarna heb ik het vel in het lijstje gedaan. Nu nog een mooi plekje uitzoeken voor in mijn hobbykamer. :)

Hello, today I am posting a little home deco project that I have made for my crafting room. I have made it with products from Whimsy stamps. 

Since I bought the Rainbow paperpack (WSDP08) from Whimsy stamps I have been in love with this gorgeous sheet from the set. I don't make large cards very often and really wanted to use the whole sheet on a project. So I decided to make a home deco item. I have bought a frame in a Dutch store that has the perfect size for the sheet. Then I have cut a perfect text for a craftroom with the  Cutie ABC die set from Whimsy stamps from black cardstock. I really love using rainbow colours on my cards, so it is also the perfect sentiment for me. ;) I have added little accents on all the letters with a white gelpen. I have used another alphabet die from my stash for the words "is my". I have glued everything on a nice sheet of white cardstock and then I have put it in the frame. Now I only have to find a nice spot for it in my craftroom. :)

Op een klein wit kaartje heb ik met een zwarte fineliner lijntjes langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Op de kaart heb ik een stripe roze stipjespapier van het Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) van Whimsy stamps geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het kaartje geplakt. Ik heb voor deze challenge een cadeaudoosjes gemaakt waar je 2 repen rittersport chocolade kunt doen. Ik heb het doosje versierd met de digitale stempel Gardening buddies van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding op het doosje geplakt nadat ik daar eerst een achtergrond op heb gemaakt met Tumbled glass en Mowed lawn Distress inkt.

For this challenge I have made a little giftbox that holds 2 Rittersport chocolate bars. I have decorated the box with the digital stamp Gardening buddies from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have glued the image on the box after I blended a background on it with Tumbled glass and Mowed lawn Distress ink.

Het doosje heb ik met de Silhouette cameo uit wit karton gesneden. Ik heb het doosje versierd met rood stipjespapier van het Sweet dreams paperpad van Craft sensations. Ik heb de tekst uit wit karton gestanst met de Gefeliciteerd tekst (LR0651) van Marianne design en die heb ik daarna op het design papier geplakt. Ik heb het doosje gesloten met een geel lintje.

I have die cut the word gefeliciteerd (congratulations) with the Gefeliciteerd tekst (LR0651) from Marianne design from white cardstock and I glued it on the red paper. Happy painting club - A chicken and a bunny

Hallo, een tijdje geleden kwam ik op youtube een leuke tutorial tegen van de Happy painting club. Ik volg ze ook op instagram en vind de tekenstijl altijd erg leuk en vrolijk overkomen, maar wist niet goed of ik dit zelf ook zou kunnen. Ik ben best een pietje precies en dit is juist een stijl waarin je wat meer loslaat en "zomaar" wat doet. Maar door het volgen van de Live-Mal-Session zu Ostern van Happy painting kon ik mooi eens proberen en dat was heel erg leuk om te doen. 

Ik heb mijn tekening gemaakt op Classic Aquarelpapier Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr van Winsor & Newton. De schets is met potlood gemaakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken met een zwarte fineliner. Ik heb mijn kip en konijn daarna ingekleurd met Schmincke aquarelverf. Ik heb daarna met een zwarte fineliner en een witte gelpen allerlei accentjes op de afbeelding aangebracht. 

Hello, a while ago I found a great tutorial from the Happy painting club on youtube. I follow them also on instagram, because I really love the style of the drawings, but I wasn't sure if I am able to do this myself. Most of the times I work very precise and this style is very loose. The Live-Mal-Session zu Ostern from Happy painting was the perfect excuse to try this style and I had so much fun. 

I have made my drawing on Classic Aquarelpapier Grain fin Jumbo Blok 300gr from Winsor & Newton. I have made the sketch with a pencil and then I traced the image with a black fineliner. Then I coloured the chicken and the bunny with Schmincke watercolours. I added all kinds of details with a black fineliner and a white gelpen.

Hallo, het is al een hele tijd geleden dat ik een kaartje heb gemaakt voor mijn Memory dex en dus heb ik dat eindelijk weer eens gedaan. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bee mine mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb de bloemen gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen.

Ik heb mijn Memory dex kaartje gemaakt met de Stencils SL120 (retired) van Studio light. De basis is gemaakt van wit karton en de laag erop is gemaakt van blauw design papier van de Gingham pastels papers from Sunny studio stamps. Uit wit karton heb ik de wolkjes gestanst met de Cute cloud outlines van My favorite things en die heb ik op de blauw achtergrond geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op het kaartje geplakt. 

Hello, it has been a long time since I made a card for my Memory dex, so I finally made a new one. I have made a card with the digital stamp Bee mine mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have coloured the flower with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. 

I have made my memory dex card with the Stencils SL120 (retired) from Studio light. I have cut the base from white cardstock and the layer on top of it is cut from blue patterned paper from the Gingham pastels papers from Sunny studio stamps. I have cut a couple of clouds from white cardstock with the Cute cloud outlines from My favorite things and glued them on the blue paper. I have added the image with foamtape on the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Amanda Jayne designs. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever lente of zomerkaartjes maakt. Ik heb gekozen voor lente omdat ik dat een fijn seizoen vind. De bloemetjes beginnen weer te bloeien, overal worden lieve jonge dieren geboren en het wordt weer lekker warmer (als het goed is ;) ).

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bunny van JustMEdigitalstamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Van het Gingham-Linen rainbow petite prints paperpad van Doodlebug had ik nog een klein stukje rood geruit papier over. Met de Scallop borders van Pretty pink posh heb ik een geschulpt randje aan het design papier gestanst. Ik heb er een wit lintje omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik het papier op een witte kaart geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions op het rode design papier geplakt. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik gestempeld met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees.

I stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the red patterned paper. Around the image I have stamped with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees.
