Rose kerstkaart

En ja hoor...... vandaag heb ik weer een kerstkaart. :) Op dit kaartje heb ik een schattig beertje van Lily of the valley gebruikt. De beer is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Op de rose gedeelyes heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb flower soft gebruikt op de muts zodat het net echte bontrandjes lijken. De ogen en het neusje van de beer heb ik gekleurd met een zwart glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgestanst met de cirkel nestabilities. De tekst is ook een stempeltje van Lily of the valley. Het rose sneeuwsterren papier is een freebie uit de nieuwe shop van Lauren Meader: My time made easy. Door technische problemen is de shop nog even dicht, maar ik had het geluk om nog net dit setje te kunnen downloaden.

Yes today I have another christmas card. :) On my card I used this time a cute bear stamp from Lily of the valley. The bear was coloured with derwent pencils. I have coloured with my clear spica glitter pen on the pink parts. I used white flowersoft on the cap, to make it look like real fur. The eyes and the nose of the bear are coloured with a black glaze pen. After I was done with colouring I used the circle nestabilities to cut the image out. The sentiment is also a stamp from Lily of the valley. The pink snowflake paper is a freebie from the new shop from Lauren Meader: My time made easy. Lauren is having some technical problems right now, so the shop is closed again, but I was lucky enough to download this digital paper.

En nog weer een kerstkaartje!

Dit kaartje heb ik het afgelopen weekend gemaakt. Ik heb op mijn kaart gebruikt van deze geweldige digitale stempel van Mo Manning: Christmas fairy holly. Zoals altijd heb ik hem weer ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Ook heb ik weer gekleurd met mijn clear spica glitter pen, maar dat is niet te zien op de foto. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met mijn cirkel nestabilities. De tekst komt uit een setje kerstteksten van Lily of the valley. Ik heb een kaart uit rood cardstock van doodlebug gesneden. Daar bovenop zit een vierkant met daarop groene stippen geprint.

I made this card last weekend. I used a fabulous digital image from Mo Manning on my card: Christmas fairy Holly. As always I have coloured the image with my derwent pencils. I also have coloured with my clear spica glitter pen, but you can't see that on my picture. I have cut the image with the circle nestabilities. The sentiment is from a christmas stamp set from Lily of the valley. The card is made from red cardstock from doodlebug. I have placed a white square on top of the card after I printed green dots on top of it.

Anyone for Anya - Last christmas

Hallo allemaal. Wat een weer vandaag! Het heeft hier vandaag heel erg veel gesneeuwd en ik heb, terwijl ik lekker warm binnen zat, aan nog een paar kerstkaartjes gewerkt. Deze kaart is meteen voor de Anyone for Anya challenge waar ze vragen om een laatste kerstkaart voor dit jaar. Ik kan niet beloven dat dit de laatste voor dit jaar is, maar dat zal niet erg zijn. ;) Op mijn kaartje heb ik de stempel van Elf Anya gebruikt. Anya is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en op haar kleren heb ik ook nog eens gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Na het kleuren heb ik Anya uitgeknipt. Ik heb mijn nestabilities gebruikt om de cirkels te maken. De strip wit papier is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. De zwarte randjes langs deze strip zijn geknipt met een schaar. De tekst komt uit een kerst stempel setje van Studio G. Ik heb nog twee sneeuwsterretjes uitgeponst om de kaart verder te versieren.

Hi everyone. Wow what a weather over here today! It has snowed a lot today and I have, while I was sitting warm and cosy inside, made a couple of christmas cards. This card is for the anyone for Anya challenge where they ask for the last christmas card of this year. I can't promise that this will be my last christmas card, so I hope you don't mind. ;) On my card I used the image of Elf Anya. Anya was coloured with derwent pencils. I have coloured her clothes with a clear spica glitter pen. I cut Anya out after I coloured her. I used my nestabilities for the circles. I have embossed the white strip of paper with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug . I used scissors to make the scalloped edge. The snetiment is from a stamp set from Studio G. I punches two snowflakes to decorate the card.

DU2DS 28 - Christmas card crisis

Goedemorgen allemaal. Vandaag is het weer tijd voor de laatste Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge van dit jaar en deze keer hebben we weer een toepasselijke uitdaging voor de tijd van het jaar, namelijk Christmas card crisis. Voor mij een heel toepasselijke challenge want ik moet nog steeds een paar kerstkaarten maken (ja ik weet....ik ben erg laat:) ). Toen ik deze afbeelding van Chris (Sketchingstamper) zag wist ik meteen voor wie ik hem wilde gebruiken. Dit leuke hondje lijkt op de hond die mijn neven en tante vroeger hadden. Smurf was een hele eigenwijze hond met een sterke eigen wil en ik was helemaal gek van hem. Hij luisterde naar niemand behalve naar mij en mijn opa. ;) Deze kaart is dan ook voor mijn neef. Ik heb de afbeelding een beetje veranderd en de strik weggegumd en daarvoor in de plaats heb ik een echte strik gebruikt. De hond heb ik ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Het bot heb ik groen gekleurd en op het bot heb ik het sterretje gestempeld, zodat het net lijkt alsof het bot in een mooi papiertje is verpakt. De tekst heb ik zelf geprint en die vond ik wel passen bij de afbeelding. Ik heb nog een strip rood-wit gestreept papier achter de afbeelding geplakt en daarop heb ik een paar zwarte hotfix stenen geplakt.

Goodmorning everyone. It is time again for our last Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge of this year and we have the perfect challenge for this time of the year: Christmas card Crisis. It is the perfect challenge for me, because I still need to make some christmas cards ( I know... I am so behind with everything). When I saw this cute dog from Chris (Sketching Stamper), I knew immediately for who I wanted to use it. This nice dog looks exactly like the dog my aunt and cousins used to have. Smurf was a real pigheaded dog with a strong mind of his own and I was crazy about him. He didn't listen to anyone except to me and my grandfather. ;) So this card will be for my cousin. I changed the image a little bit, because I removed a bit of the bow and used a real ribbon bow insted of it. I have coloured the image with my derwent pencils. I have coloured the big bone in green and stamped some stars on it, so it would look like a nice wrapped present. I have printed the sentiment and I thought it was perfect for this image. I have added a strip of red and white striped paper behind the image and decorated that strip with some black hotfix stones.

Paarse kerstkaart

Vandaag heb ik weer een kerstkaartje om te laten zien. Hij is vrij eenvoudig geworden. Op een witte kaart heb ik eerst de tekst geprint. Het paarse papier komt uit een setje van de action of kruidvat, ik heb het al zolang dat ik niet meer weet waar ik het vandaan heb. Ik heb met mijn silhouette de ster uit de paarse rechthoek gesneden. Uit lichter paars papier heb ik het kader van de ster gesneden en dat heb ik weer bovenop de paarse ster geplakt. Echt een nauwkeurig werkje om te doen. :) Als laatste heb ik nog een wit gestippeld lintje om de paarse rechthoek geknoopt.

Today I have another christmas card to show. It is a pretty simple card. I started with printing the sentiment (happy holidays) on a white card. I bought the purple paper a few years ago at a dutch store. I used my silhouette to cut out the rectangle and the star. I also cut a star frame out of light purple paper that I glued on top of the dark purple star. The last thing I added was a white dotted ribbon.

Penny Black kerstkaartje

Hallo! Poe eindelijk weer eens tijd om een kaartje op mijn blog te plaatsen! Ik heb het de afgelopen tijd erg druk gehad, maar dat zal nu gelukkig weer wat beter worden en dan heb ik ook weer wat meer tijd om te bloggen en kaartjes te maken. Ik moet nog steeds een paar kerstkaarten maken, maar dat komt vanzelf wel goed. Dit kaartje had ik al een tijdje geleden gemaakt. Ik heb weer eens een stempeltje van Penny Black gebruikt. Ik moest gewoon een kaartje maken met deze grappige rendiermuisjes. Ik heb ze gekleurd met derwent potloden. Bepaalde onderdelen zijn gekleurd met mijn clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de stempel afgedrukt op een stukje papier waarop op ik de blauw geruite strips heb afgedrukt. De hoeken zijn afgerond met hoekpons. De tekststempel is van Lily of the valley. De sneeuwsterretjes zijn gemaakt met een klein ponsje. De kaart is donkerblauw maar dat is helaas niet goed te zien op de foto. Verder heb ik nog een laagje sneeuw aangebracht met de witte flowersoft. Dat geeft echt een leuk effect!

Hello! Wow finally I have time again to post a card on my blog! I have been really busy, but the busiest period is over now and so I will have more time to blog and make cards. I still need to make a few christmas cards and do some christmas shopping, but that's ok. I made this card a while ago. I just had to use this funny stamp with the reindeer mice from Penny Black. I have colored them with my derwent pencils. I also coloured a bit with my clear spica glitter pen. I stamped the image on a piece of paper with blue gingham strips. I used a puch to make the corners round. The sentiment is a stamp from Lily of the valley. The snowflakes are made with a punch. The cardstock I used is darkblue, but you can't see that on my picture. I have added some snow with my white flowersoft. Such a lovely effect!

Magnolia kerstkaartje

Ik had dit kaartje afgelopen weekend al gemaakt en ik heb nu eindelijk even tijd om hem op mijn blog te zetten. Ik ben erg druk op het moment en hopelijk heb ik volgende weer weer wat meer tijd, en dan kan ik ook weer eens lekker bloghoppen want dat komt er nu niet echt van. Sorry daarvoor! Mijn kaartje is er weer één met een magnoliaatje geworden. Ik ben echt helemaal verliefd op de nieuwe kerstcollectie. Ik heb alleen nu heel weinig tijd om er wat mee te doen. Ik heb mijn afbeelding gekleurd met distress inkt en peerless paint en daarna heb ik nog wat gekleurd met twinkling H2o's Je ziet het helaas niet op de foto, maar die geven echt een leuk subtiel glittertje. Daar hou ik wel van. :) De oogjes van Tilda heb ik zoals gewoonlijk gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De afbeelding heb ik uitgesneden met mijn cirkel nestabilities. Op de witte cirkel heb ik nog een paar hotfx steentjes geplaatst. Het tekstje is ook een stempel, maar ik weet even niet meer waar hij van is. Het designpapier is ook van Magnolia.

Sorry about that! On my card I used one of the cute christmas magnolia's again. I so love this christmas collection! I wish I had some time to play with them. I have coloured my image with distress ink and peerless paint and on top of that I used my twinkling H2o's. I love the shimmer but I wish you could see it better on the picture. I have coloured Tilda's eyes with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with my nestabilities. I used a couple of hotfix stones to decorate the circle. The designpaper is also from Magnolia. The sentiment is also a stamp, but I forgot from which company it is.

Kerstkaartje

Vandaag heb ik dit kerstkaartje gemaakt. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik de sketch gebruikt die ik een tijdje geleden voor een challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp had ontworpen. Ik heb de ruitjes zelf geprint en op 4 van de vierkantjes heb ik gestempeld met een hulstblaadje van Hero Arts. Op de andere vierkantjes heb ik een strikje van zwart satijn lint geplakt. De tekst is ook een stempel van Hero Arts. Ik heb hem al jaren en hij was perfect voor dit kaartje!

Today I have made this christmas card. I have used the sketch that I have designed for a challenge from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp a while ago. . I have printed the red gingham pattern and on 4 of the squares I have stamped with a holly stamp from Hero Arts. On the other squares I have added a bow from black ribbon. The sentiment is a real o;ld stamp from Hero Arts. I bought it years ago and it was just perfect for this card!

Kaarsen

Vandaag heb ik gewerkt aan een paar kleine kerstcadeautjes. Ik had een paar kaarsen gekocht om cadeau te geven en daar moest natuurlijk een leuke verpakking bij. Het zeshoekige doosje heb ik zelf ontworpen. Ik heb ze gemaakt van glossy karton waarop ik de stippenachtergronden heb geprint. Om het dekseltje heb ik een wit lintje en een klein strikje gedaan. Het tagje is een stempeltje van Studio G. Ik heb de tags ingekleurd met derwent potloden en zoals altijd heb ik de oogjes gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De tag is met een brad vastgemaakt aan het doosje. Het doosje is verder versierd met wat sneeuwsterretjes die ik heb uitgeponst.

Today I made a few little christmas presents. I bought some candles to give as a present and offcourse I wanted to give them in a nice box. I designed the box myself. I have used glossy cardstock to make the boxes. I first printed the dotted backgrounds on the paper. I made a little bow and added some white ribbon to the lid. The tag is a stamp from Studio G. I have coloured the tags with derwent pencils and as always I have coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. I used a brad to attach the tag to the box. I decorated the box with some punched snowflakes.

DU2DS 27 - Red and green.

Goedemorgen allemaal. Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging van Dare U 2 Digi stamp en deze week hebben we een kleurencombinate van rood en groen. Echt de perfecte kleurencombinatie voor een kerstkaartje en aangezien ik nog best wat kerstkaarten nodig heb, komt dat mooi uit! Voor mijn kaartje heb ik de leuke sketch van Truly scrumptious gevolgd. De afbeelding die ik op mijn kaart heb gebruikt is van Christy Croll. Ik ben helemaal gek van haar huggabuggs stempels die ze voor Stamping Bella heeft getekend, maar ik kwam er achter dat ze ook digitale stempels op Etsy verkoopt. De afbeelding is ingekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. De oogjes heb ik gekleurd met mijn zwarte glaze pen en haar vleugels heb ik gekleurd met mijn clear spica glitter pen. Na het inkleuren heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met mijn nestabilities heb ik de cirkels uitgesneden en de witte cirkel is geëmbost met de snowflakes embossingfolder van cuttlebug. Met mijn nestabilities heb ik de witte rechthoek uitgesneden en daarop heb ik de hulstblaadjes van Elzybells gestempeld. De tekst komt uit een setje winterteksten van Kraftin Kimmie stamps.

Goodmorning everyone. It is friday again and it is time for a new challenge from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this week we have a colour combination: red and green. The perfect colours for a christmas card and I still need to make a few cards, so I was happy with these colours. I used the lovely sketch from the Truly scrumptious blog on my card. The image I used is from Christy Croll. I love her huggabuggs stamps that she made for Stamping Bella, so I was really happy that she is also selling digital stamps on Etsy. The image was coloured with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen and her wings were coloured with my clear spica glitter pen. I cut the image out aftre I coloured it. The circles were cut with my nestabilities and I have embossed the white circle with the snowflakes embossing folder from cuttlebug. I have cut the rectangle with my nestabilities and stamped the hollies on it with an Elzybells stamp. The sentiment is from a Kraftin Kimmie winter sentiment stamp set.
