Dare U 2 Digi Stamp 22 - Punches and diecuts

Hallo allemaal. Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. Deze week moet je op je kaartje ponsjes of diecuts gebruiken naast een digitale stempel natuurlijk! Op mijn kaartje heb ik de geweldige afbeelding van een dansend stokstaartje gebruikt van Sandra Dry. Neem vooral eens een kijkje op haar blog, naast deze leuke stokstaartjes heeft ze nu ook een geweldige serie Roch chix. Ik vond mijn stokstaart perfect voor een kaartje voor een abraham die ik moest maken. Ik heb het stokstaartje ingekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden. Zijn neus en ogen heb ik gekleurd met derwent potloden. Op de zwarte delen van zijn kleren heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de tekst 50 jaar gemaakt met het moxie alfabet van quickutz. Rondom de kaart heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een streepjeslijn gezet.

Hello everyone. It is time for another new challenge on the Dare U 2 Digi stamp blog. This week we would love you to use diecuts or punches on your card next to a digital stamp off course! I used this amazing dancing meerkat from Sandra Dry on my card. Please visit her blog. Next to these cute meerkats she has now a fabulous new collection: the Rock chix. I thought my meerkat was perfect for a card that I had to make for someone's 50 th birthday. I coloured the meerkat with koh-i-noor pencils. I coloured his eyes and nose with a black glaze pen. The black parts of his clothes were coloured with a clear spica glitter pen. I used the moxie alphabet from Quickutz to create the 50 jaar (50 years) on my card. I did some faux stitching with a black fineliner.

Beterschapskaartjes

Afgelopen vrijdag kwam ik dit kaartje tegen op de blog van Kristina Werner. Ik vond hem zo leuk dat ik hem in mijn eigen versie heb nagemaakt. Met de silhouette heb ik de witte voorkant van mijn kaart uitgesneden. De tekst is eerst geprint en daarna heb ik de vorm uitgesneden met de silhouette. Op het witte vlak heb ik gestempeld met fruitstempeltjes die ik in een speelgoedwinkel heb gevonden. Het kersjes stempeltje is een goedkoop stempeltje dat ik ooit eens op een beurs heb gekocht. Het fruit is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb om het frontje een grosgrain lintje gespannen en aan de zijkant heb ik dat vastgeknoopt met wit garen. Op het lintje heb ik twee witte cabochons geplakt. De witte kaart heb ik met foamtape op de rode en paarse kaart geplakt.

Last friday I saw this card on the blog of Kristina Werner. I loved it so much that I decided to make my own version of the card.I cut the white front of the card with the silouette. I printed the sentiment (get well) first and after that I cut it out with the silhouette. I stamped on the white rectangle with fruit stamps that I found in a toyshop. The cherrie stamp was found on a craft fair. I coloured the fruit with derwent pencils. I wrapped a grosgrain ribbon around the white card and tied it together with white thread. On the ribbon I added two white cabochons. The white card was mounted on the red and purple card with foamtape.

Truly scrumptious 16 - Henry the mouse

Vorige week ben ik een paar dagen naar Duitsland geweest en daar heb ik ook de Stempelmekka in Hagen bezocht. Natuurlijk ben ik weer thuis gekomen met veel leuke nieuwe spullen. Ik was erg benieuwd naar de nieuwe serie kerststempels van Whiff of joy met het lieve muisje Henry en ze waren zo lief dat ik het niet kon laten om een paar stempels mee te nemen. :) Ik heb met Henry een kaartje gemaakt voor de Truly scrumptious challenge. Deze week hebben ze een geweldige sketch gemaakt door Heather. Als extra optie is het de bedoeling om 3 verschillende stempels op je kaart te gebruiken en daar mag je de tekststempel niet bij meetellen. Op mijn kaartje heb ik de stempel van Henry met warme chocolade gebruikt. Henry is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb ook nog wat gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Henry is uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Op een vierkant van rood papier heb ik twee verschillende sneeuwsterretjes gestempeld met witte inkt. Dus dat zijn stempel 2 en 3 die ik op mijn kaartje heb gebruikt. Op een witte kaart heb ik een rode stipjes achtergrond geprint. De tekst is gestempeld met de set Everyday greetings van Elzybells. De grote sneeuwsterren zijn geponst en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Last week I have been in Germany for a few days and there I visited the Stempelmekka in Hagen. Offcourse I came home with a lot of new goodies. :) I really wanted to see the new collection from Whiff of Joy with christmas stamps from Henry the mouse and they were so sweet that I just had to buy a few stamps. I used Henry to make a card for this week's challenge from Truly scrumptious. This week they have a fabulous sketch from Heather. There is also an extra option: You have to use 3 different stamps on your card, but the sentiment stamp doesn't count. I used the stamp from Henry the mouse with hot chocolate on my card. I coloured him with derwent pencils. I added some glitter with a clear spica glitter pen. Henry was cut out with circle nestabilities. I stamped with two different snowflakes stamp on the red square ( stamp 2 and 3). On a white card I printed the red dotted design. The sentiment is from the Everyday greetings set from Elzybells. The big snowflakes are made with punches and I used foamtape to mount them on my card.

Card for Sue

Ik had dit kaartje al een tijdje geleden gemaakt, maar omdat hij nog onderweg was naar Sue in Oregon, USA kon ik hem nog niet eerder laten zien. Sue is net zoals ik heel gek op de stempels van Eline Pellinkhof, dus ik heb haar verrast met wat stempelafdrukjes. Op het kaartje dat ik erbij heb gedaan heb ik natuurlijk ook een toddler van Eline gebruikt. Eigenlijk is het een kerststempel, maar dat heb ik even aangepast. Ik heb na het stempelen eerst de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden. In de vakjes van de slinger is het eigenlijk de bedoeling om kerst of xmas te stempelen, maar dat heb ik niet gedaan. Ik heb met een clear alfabet stempelsetje van Elzybells de naam Sue gestempeld en een paar kleine bloemetjes. Op haar mutsje zit een hulstblaadje maar daaroverheen heb ik een strikje van zwart lint geplakt. De oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stipjes op de wangen getekend. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met rechthoekige nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rode achtergrond geprint. Ik heb van zwart lint nog drie strikjes gemaakt en die op een lintje geplakt.

I made this card a while ago, but because it was on its way to Sue in Oregon, USA I couldn't post it on my blog. Sue loves, just like me, the stamps from Eline Pellinkhof, so I wanted to surprise her with some stamped images and a card. On the card I used an image from Eline Pellinkhof. Actually it is a christmas stamp, but I changed that it a bit. After I stamped the image I coloured it with derwent pencils. I didn't stamp the xmas on the garland, but I stamped Sue's name with a clear alphabet set from Elzybells and I also added some little flowers. I made a bow from black ribbon to hide the holly on her hat. I coloured her eyes with a black glaze pen. I have drawn the white dots on her cheeks with a white gelpen. The image was cut out with rectangle nestabilities. I printed the red background on a white card. I made 3 bows from black ribbon and glued them on top of the ribbon.

Card for Caroline

Vandaag is het de verjaardag van Caroline uit het DU2DS design team. Dit is het kaartje dat ik voor haar heb gemaakt. Ik hoop dat ze inmiddels haar kaartje heeft gekregen. Deze schattige poes is een stempel van Lelo design. Ik heb haar ingekleurd met derwent kleurpotloden. De oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Met een clear spica glitter pen heb ik de bloem gekleurd. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de deckled nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik een ruitjes achtergrond geprint die ik vorige week heb ontworpen. Ik heb een strikje van zwart lint gemaakt. De tekst heb ik geprint en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Naast de afbeelding heb ik zwarte hotfix hartjes geplakt.

Today it is the birthday of Caroline from the DU2DS design team. This is the card that I made for her. I hope she has allready received it. This cute cat is a stamp from Lelo design. I coloured it with derwent pencils. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen. With a clear spica glitter pen I coloured the flower. The image was cut out with deckled nestabilities. On a white card I printed the background that I designed last week. I made a bow from black ribbon. The sentiment was printed and mounted on the card with foamtape. Next to the image I added some blacck hotfix hearts.

Bloemenkaartjes

Gisteren heb ik deze twee kaartjes gemaakt. Op een kaart heb ik de tekst geprint op de voorkant. Met de silhouette heb ik een malletje gemaakt zodat ik de scallop rand aan de kaart kon knippen. Ik heb een strookje oranje en blauw linnen papier aan de binnenkaart van de kaart geplakt. Op wat restjes papier heb ik de bloemetjes gestempeld. Ze komen uit een clear stempelsetje van Scrappy cat. Ik heb de bloemtjes gekleurd met derwent potloden. De hartjes van de bloemen zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb een strikje gemaakt van zwart lint.

Yesterday I made these two cards. On a card I printed the sentiment (happy birthday). I made a template with the silhouette, so I could cut the scallop edge. I added a strip of blue and orange linen paper. I stamped the flowers on scraps of paper. I coloured them with derwent pencils. The hearts of the flowers were coloured with a black glaze pen. I made a bow from black ribbon.

Rijbewijs

Afgelopen week moest ik dit kaartje maken voor de neef van een collega die net zijn rijbewijs had gehaald. Ik heb deze leuke stempel van Hanna stamps gebruikt van Riley the moose die aan het autorijden is. Ik heb gekleurd met derwent en koh-i-noor potloden. Zijn oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Op de wielen heb ik hotfix sterren geplakt. Het lijken net wieldoppen nu. ;) Op een witte kaart heb ik de groene achtergrond geprint. De zwarte strip papier is geëmbost met de spots & dots embossingfolder van cuttlebug. De tekst heb ik geprint. De kaart is verder nog versierd met hotfix steentjes. Heather wees mij erop dat de kleuren van deze kaart perfect zijn voor de challenge van deze week van de Colour create challenge, dus dat kwam mooi uit. :)

Last week I had to make this card for colleague. Her cousin just got his driver's license. I used this great stamp from Hanna stamps from Riley the moose who is driving his car. I coloured with derwent and koh-i-noor pencils. On the wheels I added silver hotfix stars, so they look like hub-caps. ;) On a white card I printed the green background. The black strip of paper was embossed with the spots & dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The sentiment (Congratulations on your driver's license) was printed. The card was decorated with black hotfix stones. My friend Heather told me that the colours of my card were perfect for this week's Colour create challenge, so that is just perfect! :)

Bloemetjes

Gisteren heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt. Ik heb met een zwarte fineliner op een stukje wit papier steeltjes getekend die bestaan uit stipjes. Bovenaan de steeltjes heb ik kleine bloemetjes gestempeld met een stempelsetje van Pipoos. De bloemetjes zijn gekleurd een caran d'ache potlood. In de hartjes heb ik zilveren hotfix steentjes geplakt. Ik heb een lintje rondom de afbeelding gespannen en dat met een touwtje bij elkaar vastgeknoopt. De rose kaart is geëmbost. Ik heb nog 3 zwarte hotfix steentjes als decoratie opgeplakt.

Yesterday I made this card. I coloured some dotted stems with a black fineliner on a piece of white paper. On top of the stems I stamped a few little flowers with a clear stamp set from a dutch store. The flowers are coloured with a pencil from caran d'ache. I added some silver hotfix stones on the hearts of the flowers. I wrapped a black ribbon round the image and tied it together with a black thread. I embossed the pink card. I also added 3 hotfix stones.

DU2DS 21 - Sketch from Chris

Goedemorgen allemaal! Op deze vrijdag hebben we weer een nieuwe challenge op het Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog en deze week hebben we een leuke sketch van Chris. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een kerstkaartje te maken met deze geweldige kerst digi van Sandra Dry. Neem vooral eens een kijkje op haar blog, want ze heeft nog veel meer geweldige digitale stempels! Ik heb Holly ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Op haar laarzen en op de besjes op haar muts heb ik glossy accents gebruikt. Op alle bontrandjes heb ik witte funflock gedaan. Zo lekker zacht! De tekst Merry christmas is gemaakt met het olivia alfabet van quickutz. In de hoek heb ik sneeuwsterren geplakt die ik gemaakt heb met een pons. In de rechter bovenhoek heb ik een paar zwarte hotfix steentjes gebruikt.

Goodmorning everyone. On this friday we have a new challenge for you on the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog and this week we have a lovely sketch from Chris! I have decided to make a christmas card with this amazing christmas digital stamp from Sandra Dry. Please visit her blog, because she has some really lovely other digital stamps on her blog. I have coloured Holly with derwent pencils. I added glossy accents on her boots and on the berries on her hat. I added white funflock on her clothes and hat. Really soft! The sentiment Merry Christmas was made with the olivia alphabet from quickutz. In the corner I added some snowflakes that were made with a punch. In the right top corner I used a few black hotfix cabochons.

Papertake weekly challenge - Sketch 23

Vanavond heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de leuke sketch die ik tegenkwam op de Papertake weekly challenge. Ik was eerst van plan een Magnoliaatje op mijn kaartje te gebruiken, maar die was veels te groot en daarna is de keuze op dit schattige Kettootje van Stamping Bella gevallen. Missmatch Ketto is gekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. Ik heb wat accentjes aangebracht met een clear spica glitter pen. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met rechthoekige nestabilities. De tekststempel is ook van Stamping Bella en is verkrijgbaar via Card Art. Om ze te krijgen moet je emailen met Carmen. De witte rechthoek is geëmbost met de snowflakes embossingmal van cuttlebug. Dit weekend heb ik wat nieuwe achtergrondjes ontworpen en de streepjesachtergrond is er één van. Ik heb hem gecombineerd met de rose stippen en daarna heb ik nog een strikje van zwart lint gebruikt.

Tonight I saw this lovely sketch on the Papertake weekly challenge blog. At first I wanted to use a magnolia stamp on my card, but she was just too big for the card, so then I decided to use this cute Ketto stamp from Stamping Bella. Missmatch Ketto was coloured with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. I added some accents with a clear spica glitter pen. I cut the image out with the rectangle nestabilities. The sentiment is also a stamp from Stamping Bella and it says Big hug! The white rectangle was embossed with the snowflakes embossing from cuttlebug. I designed some new backgrounds this weekend and I used this new one with the stripes with a dotted background. As a finishing touch I made a knot from black ribbon.
