Nog meer girafjes.

Het werken met de giraffen stempel beviel me goed, dus ik heb er nog een kaart mee gemaakt. Voor deze kaart heb ik een grote gele ruit op een kaart geprint. Voor de tekst heb ik één stempeltje gescand en gespiegeld. Deze heb ik als letter P gebruikt in mijn tekst. Ik zag dit ideetje ergens op internet bij iemand die dat met een andere stempel had gedaan. In de overige vakjes heb ik de girafjes gestempeld. Ze zijn ingekleurd met aquarel potloden. Voor zulke kleine stempels gebruik ik toch liever aquarel potloden, omdat het kwastje dat ik gebruik erg fijn is, en dat komt goed uit. De muzieknootjes zijn gemaakt met een ponsje van zwart papiertje.

I liked working with the stamps with the girafs really well, so today I made another card with them. For this card I printed a large yellow chequered background on a white card. For the text I scanned one of the stamps and mirrored it. I used this one as a P. I saw this idea somewhere on internet with a different stamp. I stamped all the other girafs and coloured them with aquarel pencils. Because the stamps are so tiny I prefer aquarel pencils, because I can use a tiny brush. I made the music notes with a punch from black paper.

Kitty's and Michelle's blogcandy

Op de blog van Kitty kun je deze week blogcandy winnen. Ze is na een tijdje weer terug op haar blogje en gelukkig kunnen we dus weer genieten van haar kaarten.

Ook Michelle geeft deze week blogcandy weg. Allemaal in de kleur paars. Ik vidn paars erg mooi, maar altijd heel moeilijk om een kaartje mee te maken. Toch is het me laatst gelukt om zelfs 2 paarse kaartjes te maken. Zelf ben ik nog gekker van rood en zelfs nog meer van de combinatie rood, zwart en wit.

Michelle is also giving away blogcandy. Everything is in the color purple. I like purple but I think it is really hard to make cards with purple. Although last week I managed to make 2 cards in purple! Personally I am a big fan of the colour red, and even better the combination of red white and black!

In the garden.....

Het thema voor de Cute Card Thursday was deze week: In the garden.

This week, a nice easy theme, anything to do with gardens. Could be people gardening, having fun in the garden, a garden scene or perhaps some little animals you might find in the garden.

Ik heb gekozen voor deze stempel van Fluffles. Hij past wel goed bij het thema zoals hij tussen de bloemetjes zit en naar de slak kijkt. Ik heb Fluffles ingekleurd met Derwent potloden. Hij is uitgesneden met mijn rechthoekige nestabilities. Ook de zwarte scallop rechthoek is met nestabilities uitgesneden. Op een strook wit papier heb ik de stippen geprint en daar tussen de tekst.

This weeks theme for Cute Card Thursday is: In the garden.

This week, a nice easy theme, anything to do with gardens. Could be people gardening, having fun in the garden, a garden scene or perhaps some little animals you might find in the garden.

I haven chosen this image of Fluffles. I thought he was really well for this challenge because he is sitting between the flowers and looking at the snail. I coloured Fluffles with derwent pencils. I cut him out with my rectangle nestabilities and the black scallop rectamgle was also cut with my nestabilities. On a piece of white paper I printed the yellow dots and the text.

Een opkikkertje!

Voor dit kaartje heb ik een afbeelding van de kikkers van Pink Petticoat verkleind en drie keer afgedrukt. Ik heb de kikkers ingekleurd met aquarel potloden. Met een ponsjes heb ik de vierkantjes ronde hoeken gegeven. Daarna heb ik ze met foamtape op een rode rechthoek geplakt. De streepjes achtergrond en de tekst heb ik op een witte kaart geprint.

For this card I made this image of the frog from Pink petticoat a little bit smaller and I printed it three times. I coloured the frogs with aquarel pencils. I made the corners round with a punch. Then I put them with foamtape on a piece of red paper. I printed the striped background and the text (een opkikkertje is a get well card, in the word opkikker there is the dutch word for frog so that's why I used the frogs) on a white card.

Oranje tulpjes

Voor deze kaart heb ik weer dezelfde layout als de vorige kaart gebruikt. Voor de tekst heb ik nu een ander lettertype gebruikt omdat ik een beterschapskaartje wat minder uitbundig wil maken dan een kaartje voor een verjaardag. De oranje tulpjes zijn ook weer in 2 maten en ik heb ze ingekleurd met aquarel potloden.

For this card I used the same layout as my last card. I choose for another font for this card, because this is a get well card and I thought the font of the birthday card was a bit too festive. The orange tulpis are in two sizes and I coloured them with aquarel pencils.

Rood met witte stippen

Voor deze kaart heb ik eerst op de kaart zelf de tekst geprint. De tekst heb ik ook nog op een apart stukje wit papier geprint. Onder de tekst zit een stukje rood papier en er zit een zwart lintje omheen gebonden. De rode bloemetjes zijn in 2 maten en ze zijn verhoogd opgeplakt met foamtape.

For this card I printed the text hartelijk gefeliciteerd = happy birthday on the card. I also printed the text on a piece of white paper. I added a little bit of red paper and a black ribbon. The red polkadot flowers are in 2 sizes and I have put them on my card with foamtape.

Hiep hiep hoera!

Mijn vorige kaartje beviel zo goed dat ik er nog een heb gemaakt met dezelfde layout. Ik heb nu rose strepen op mijn witte kaart geprint. De tekst hiep hiep hoera is op een bijpassend kleurtje rose geprint. De cadeautjes zijn van een zelfde kleur rose. Ik heb ze nu niet op een vierkantje geplaatst, maar ik heb rondom het cadeautje geknipt zodat je nog net een randje rose papier ziet.

I like my last card very much, so i decided to make another one with the same layout. For this card I printed pink stripes on a card. I printed the text hip hip hurray on a matching pink paper. The little presents are the same color pink. I glued them on the pink paper and cut them out, so there is a little bit pink around the present.

Mannenkaart

Net zoals bijna iedereen heb ik ook veel moeite met het maken van mannenkaarten, maar nu is het dan toch eindelijk eens gelukt om een verjaardagskaart te maken die aan een man gestuurd kan worden. Het model van mijn kaart is afgekeken van Kurtis ofwel StampinKub. Hij had een babykaart gemaakt met deze layout en ik vond hem erg lief!! Het is sowieso de moeite waard om een kijkje te nemen, want Kurtis maakt mooie kaarten! Voor deze kaart heb ik gebruik gemaakt van de girafjes van Leendert Jan Vis. Het zijn kleine stempeltjes, dus dat was perfect voor deze kaart. De girafjes zijn ingekleurd met aquarel potloden. Op een witte kaart heb ik de achtergrond met de gele strepen gemaakt. Ik heb een bijpassende kleur geel papier gezocht en daar heb ik hiep hiep hoera op geprint. De girafjes zijn met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en vallen dus goed op!

Just like the most people I think making cards for a man is very hard, but I finally managed to make one! I copied this layout for the card from Kurtis aka StampinKub. He made a babycard with this layout and I thought it was a really cute card! It's worth it to look at his blog, because his cards are beatiful! For this card I used stamps from Leendert Jan Vis. The stamps are pretty small, so they were perfect for this card. I coloured the little girafs with aquarel pencils. I made the striped background on a white card. On a matching yellow paper I printed the words hip hip hurray. I used foamtape for the girafs, so you can see them really well.

Omdat de stempeltjes zo goed bevallen heb ik maar meteen een tweede kaartje gemaakt met mijn forever friends beren. De beren zijn ingekleurd met aquarel potloden. Het witte postzegeltje is gemaakt met mijn cuttlebug. Daaronder zit nog een vierkantje van donkerblauw papier. Het rose stippen papier komt uit een blokje van Jalekro. De tekst is op de computer gemaakt.

Because I liked the stamps very well, I decided to make another card with them. I coloured the bears with aquarel pencils. The white "stamp" is from cuttlebug. Under the white square is a darkblue square. The pink dotted paper is from Jalekro. I made the text on the computer.

Vandaag heb ik op mijn vrije dag eindelijk eens een kaartje gemaakt met mijn forever friends stempeltjes. Die stempels heb ik een tijd geleden van mijn lieve mams gehad. Het beertje is ingekleurd met aquarel potloden. Het x-je is van het phoebe alfabet van quickutz. Het is ingkleurd met een roze glitter gel pen. Het kadertje is gemaakt met mijn cuttlebug. De roze streepjes komen uit een blokje papier van de firma Jalekro. De bloemetjes zijn van hetzelfde papier gemaakt met behulp van de quickutz.

Today on my day off I finally made a card with my forever friends stamps. I have gotten these stamps from my mom a while ago. I coloured the little bear with aquarel pencils. The x is from my quickutz phoebe alphabet. I coloured the x with a glitter gelpen. The embossed square is made with my cuttlebug. The pink stripes are made from paper from Jalekro. The flowers are from the same paper and they are made with a die from quickutz.
