California poppy

Vandaag heb ik mijn eerste kaartje met copics gemaakt. Na al die verhalen erover heb ik er toch een paar gekocht. Ik was vorige week een dagje winkelen in Rotterdam en toen moest ik natuurlijk ook meteen even langs bij Harolds. Ze hebben daar momenteel een geweldige aanbieding voor de copic ciao's en ik heb er dus een paar gekocht om eens uit te proberen. Voor dit kaartje heb ik een stempel van whipper snapper gebruikt: California poppy en die is dus gekleurd met de copics. Heel leuk om te doen, maar nog wel even flink wennen. Onder de afbeelding zit een zwarte rechthoek die gesneden is met de lange deckled nestabilities. De kaart is van rood papicolor karton. De tekst is geprint. De kaart is verder afgemaakt met zwart-wit geruit lint en een paar zwart cabochons.

Today I have made my first copic card. After hearing all the stories about them I finally bought a couple of them. Last week I have been to Rotterdam for a shopping trip and off course we had to visit Harolds. They have an amazing sale on the copics at the moment, so I did buy some to try them out. On my card I used a stam from Whipper Snapper: California poppy and I colored it with the copics. It was real fun to do, but I still have to get used to them. The black rectangle was cut with the long deckled nestabilities. The card was made from red papicolor cardstock. The sentiment (get well) was computer generated. I finished the card off with the gingham ribbon and some black cabochons.

CAS21 - Make it sparkle!

Vandaag heb ik weer een kaartje gemaakt voor de nieuwe CAS challenge van deze week. Deze week is het de bedoeling om glitter of stickles op je kaartje te gebruiken. Ik heb op mijn kaartje de stempel van Changito de ballerina gebruikt. Ik heb eerst gekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden en daarna heb ik haar een glitterjurkje gegeven. Op de wangetjes heb ik een wit stipje gezet met een witte gelpen. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Voor het stempelen heb ik eerst de tekst geprint en daarna is de ballerina er boven gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Labels one nestabilities. Van het roze bazzil papier heb ik een strookje gesneden en deze heb ik geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Daarna heb ik de kaart afgemaakt met zwarte hotfix steentjes. Er zit er ook één op het bloemetje.

Today I made a card for the new CAS challenge of this week. This week you have to use glitter or stickles on your card. I used the stamp Changito ballerina from Stampendous on my card. I colored her first with koh-i-noor pencils and after that I added the glitter to her dress. On her cheeks I made a little dot with a white gelpen. The eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. Before I stamped the ballerina, I printed the sentiment and then I stamped her. After that I cut her out with the Labels one from nestabilities. I have a cut a strip from the pink bazzil paper and embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I finished off my card with a few black hotfix stones. I also added one to the flower.

Friday sketchers - Smookie

Gisteren heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van de friday sketchers van deze week. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik één van de geinige stempels uit de serie Smookie van Nellie Snellen gebruikt. Zie dat kleine muisje eens laveloos liggen onder bij het glas. :) Smookie het draakje is gekleurd met derwent potloden. De bubbels, slingers en het glas zijn gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. Ik heb op een witte vierkante kaart eerst de strepen geprint. Op een stukje papicolor papier heb ik daarna de stippen geprint. De bloemetjes zijn ponsjes en in de hartjes heb ik een hotfix steentje gebruikt. De tekst is een Nederlandse tekststempel van Stamping Bella en past natuurlijk perfect bij deze afbeelding!

Yesterday I made this card for the challenge from the friday sketchers blog. On my card I used one of the funny stamps of Smokey the little dragon from Nellie Snellen. Look at the little mouse that is totally drunk from everything he had. :) I colored Smokey with derwent pencils. I colored the bubbles and the glass with a clear spica glitter pen. I cut the image out with oval nestabilities. I printed on a white card the black lines. On a piece of papicolor paper I printed the black dots. The flowers are made with a punch and I added a blakc hotfix stone in the hearts. The sentiment (cheers!) is a dutch Stamping Bella sentiment stamp and it is perfect for my image!

Just Magnolia 11 - Sketch

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Just Magnolia. Ik heb gekozen voor de stempel van Tilda met haar kersen jurkje. Ik heb Tilda gekleurd met derwent potloden. Haar oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Na het kleuren heb ik Tilda uitgeknipt. Uit rood bazzil papier heb ik een kaart gesneden. Op een stukje wit papier heb ik met een kersen stempel en een stipjes stempel de achtergrond gemaakt. Ook deze kersjes zijn ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het rode randje is geponst met een pons van Martha Stewart. Er overheen zit een wit satijnen lintje met een strikje. De cirkels zijn uitgesneden met nestabilities. De tekst is gestempeld met de Everyday greetings set van Elzybells.

Today I made a card for the challenge of Just Magnolia. I used the stamp of Tilda with her cherry dress on my card. I have colored Tilda with my derwent pencils. Her eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. Then I have cut her out. I made my card from red Bazzil paper. On a piece of white paper I made the background with a cherry stamp and the dots stamp. I colored the cherries with my derwent pencils. The red strip of paper was punched with a punch from Martha Stewart and then I added a white satin ribbon. The circles were cut with nestabilities. The sentiment is from the clear stamp set Everyday greetings from Elzybells.

DU2DS 13 - Kim's sketch

Goedemorgen allemaal. Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging op het Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog. Deze week heeft Kim een geweldige sketch gemaakt die je moet gebruiken voor je kaartje. Kijk alsjeblieft ook op het blog om de andere geweldige creaties van de rest van het design team te zien. Ik heb een kaart gemaakt waarin je in de binnenkant een cadeaupasje kunt stoppen. Voor mijn kaart heb ik weer de geweldige afbeelding oriental blossom van Chris Dark - Sketchingstamper gebruikt. Ik blijf hem mooi vinden. Ik heb gekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb kristallen htofix steentjes geplakt in de hartjes van de bloemen. Deze keer heb ik er paarse bloesem van gemaakt. Ik weet niet of het echt bestaat, maar het staat op mijn kaartje wel mooi. :0 Ik heb op een lange strip wit papier de paarse streepjes geprint. Daarna heb ik de kaart in 3-en gevouwen. Eén stuk is naar binnen gevouwen, nadat ik eerst met een pons de hoeken rond had gemaakt en met dubbelzijdig tape vastgeplakt, zodat er een vakje ontstaat. In dit flapje had ik twee gaten gemaakt waardoor een wit satijn lintje gaat om het kaartje te sluiten. De tekst is gestempeld en is van de Nederlandse Stamping Bella teksten.

Good morning everyone. It is time again for another new challenge on the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog. This week we have a fabulous sketch from Kim. Please take a look at the blog to see all the great creations that have been made by the rest of the design team. I made a gift card holder. For my card I used again the Oriental blossom image from Chris Dark – Sketchingstamper. I can’t help it, I just like it very much. I have colored with derwent pencils. I added chrystal hotfix stones to the hearts of the blossoms. This time I made a lilac blossom. I don’t know if there is a lilac blossom, but I do like it on my card. :0 I printed the lilac stripes on a long strip of white paper. Then I folded the strip of paper in 3 parts. One part was folded to the inside of the card. I made the corners round with a punch and after that I used double sided tape to make a pocket. I made some holes and used a white satin ribbon to close the card with a little bow. I stamped the sentiment (congratulations) and it is a Dutch sentiment stamp from Stamping Bella.

Babycadeautje

Een tijdje geleden kreeg ik tijdens het winkelen een proefverpakking met Nivea shampoo. Het was verpakt in een leuk doosje en die heb ik natuurlijk meteen uit elkaar gehaald om na te maken. :) Ik heb mijn doosjes gemaakt van rose en blauw geruit papier. Ik heb een wit satijnen lintje gebruikt als sluiting. De afbeelding is een digitale stempel uit het setje Oh baby van CC. designs. Ik heb de babies gekleurd met derwent potloden. Daarna heb ik ze uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Op de scallops heb ik stipjes gezet met relief paint van decorfin.

A while ago I have gotten a sample with shampoo from Nivea. The shampoo was in a cute little box and off course I had to make my own box. :) I made my boxes from blue and pink gingham paper. I used white ribbon to close them. The images are from the digi stamp set Oh baby from CC. Designs. I colored the babies with derwent pencils. They were cut out with the circle nestabilities. The dots on the scallops were made with relief paint from decorfin.

Binnenin de verpakking zit een kaartje en een paar babysokjes. De babysokjes zijn verpakt in een plastic zakje. Ik heb met de nestabilities labels one een sluiting voor het zakje gemaakt. De rose steentjes zijn van hotfix en de blauwe steentjes heb ik ooit eens op een beurs gekocht. Op het label zit een strikje van wit satijn lint.

For the inside of the box I made a little card and I added a pair of baby socks. I used a little bag to put the socks in. To close the bag I used the nestabilities labels one. The pink stones are from hotfix and the blue stones are from my stash. On the labels I added a bow from white satin ribbon.

CAS 20 - Baa baa over you

Ik heb gisteravond nog een kaartje gemaakt voor de CAS challenge op SCS. Alhoewel ik weet niet of het wel een echte CAS kaart is, want er zitten aardig wat laagjes op. :) De kaart is verder heel simpel, dus ik beschouw hem toch maar als CAS. ;) Voor dit kaartje heb ik het clear stempelsetje From me to ewe van Elzybells gebruikt. Ik heb mijn schaap een blauw geruit vachtje gegeven. Ik heb hem verder ingekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en de stippen op de wangen zijn gemaakt met een witte souffle pen. Ik heb het schaap uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de rondjes geplakt. De rondjes zijn uitgesneden met nestabilities. De tekst komt uit hetzelfde setje en die is gestempeld met blauwe stempelinkt. De spiegelende hartjes zijn van hotfix.

I made another card for the CAS challenge on SCS. Although I am not sure if it is a real CAS card, because it has a lot of layers. :) The card is pretty simple, so I stil will call it CAS. ;) On my card I used the clear stamp set From me to ewe from Elzybells. I gave my little sheep a blue white gingham fur. I colored him with koh-i-noor pencils. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen and the dots on his cheeks are made with a white souffle pen. I cut the sheep out and used foamtape to mount him on the circles. The circles were cut with nestabilities. The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped with blue ink. The little mirror hearts are hotfix stones.

CAS 20 - Paper piecing

Ik heb vandaag weer een kaartje gemaakt voor de CAS challenge van deze week op SCS. Deze week is het de bedoeling dat je paper piecing ergens op je kaartje gebruikt. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik weer een geweldige afbeelding van Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper) gebruikt. Deze keer heb ik Vicky on the phone gebruikt. Ik heb Vicky een zwart wit stipjes shirt gegeven, nadat ik haar eerst had ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Het tagje is van quickutz en het Hello heb ik erop gestempeld. Aan het tagje zit een zwart koordje waarmee ik het aan het zwart-wit geruite lintje heb gebonden.

Today I made a card for this week's CAS challenge on SCS. This week you have to use paper piecing somewhere on your card. On my card I used a great image from Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper): Vicky on the phone. I gave Vicky a black and white dotted shirt, after I first colored her with my derwent pencils. The tag is from quickutz and I stamped the Hello on top of it. I used a black cord to attach the tag to the black and white gingham ribbon.

Vaderdag

Vandaag is het vaderdag en deze kaart heb ik aan mijn vader gegeven. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de sketch van de sketch saturday blog gevolgd, want die was perfect voor een grote afbeelding. Ik heb er alleen geen vierkante kaart van gemaakt maar een rechthoekige. De afbeelding van de gruffies beer heb ik ooit eens gekregen. Ik heb de beer ingekleurd met koh-i-noor potloden. Met een zwarte glaze pen heb ik wat accentjes getekend op de kaart, zoals op de neus, de ogen, de schroefjes en het woord honey. Op een witte kaart heb ik de groene strepen achtergrond geprint. De sterretjes zijn van hotfix en ik vond ze wel lekker stoer voor op een mannenkaart. De tekst is een tekststempeltje van Stamping Bella. Ik heb met groene stempelinkt de randen beinkt.

Today is father's day and I made this card for my father. For my card I followed the sketch from the sketch saturday blog, because it is perfect for a large image. I didn't make a square card, but I used an A5 paper for my card. I have colored the gruffies bear with koh-i-noor pencils. With my black glaze pen I have added some accents to the image, like on the nose, the eyes, the screws and the word honey. On a white card I printed the green lines. The stars are from hotfix and I think they are perfect for a male card. The sentiment (for you) is a dutch sentiment stamp from Stamping Bella. I inked the edges with green ink.

Kelly en Melanie

Vandaag ga ik een vriendin helpen met het partijtje van haar dochter. Ze gaan een hotfixparty doen. Ze heeft me al gewaarschuwd voor de 8 heftig puberende meiden, dus dat zal wat worden. :) Ik heb een klein cadeautje gemaakt voor de jarige job en ook voor haar zusje heb ik een klein cadeautje gemaakt. Voor de beide dames heb ik celebrations gekocht. Ik kon ze natuurlijk zo geven, maar dat is niet leuk, dus ik heb even wat leuks in elkaar gefrutselt voor ze. Ik had nog 2 lege doosjes staan waar eerst pinda's in hebben gezeten. Ik heb de celebrations in die doosjes gedaan en daarna de deksels versierd. Voor Kelly heb ik gekozen voor een rose ruitje want ze is gek op rose. Kelly houdt ook van feeën, dus ik heb de stempel van Agnes Ketto van Stamping Bella gekozen voor haar. Ik heb gekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. De vleugeltjes en de rose delen van haar rokje zijn gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Onder aan haar rokje hangen allemaal balletjes en daar heb ik zwarte hotfix steentjes op geplakt. Ik heb een strikje van wit satijn lint gemaakt. De bloemetjes zijn ponsjes met een zwarte cabochon in het midden. De naam Kelly is gemaakt met het Olivia alfabet van quickutz.

Today I am going to help my friend with the birthdayparty from her daughter. She is going to give a hotfixparty. I made a little present for the birthday girl and for her little sister I also made a present. I have bought celebrations for both girls. I could have given them in their own box, but that is no fun, so I made them a fun box. I had two plastic boxes that had peanuts in them before and I decorated the lids of those. For Kelly I have chosen a pink gingham background, because she really loves pink. She also loves fairies, so I have chosen the stamp Agnes Ketto from Stamping Bella. I coloured her with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. The wings and the pink parts of her skirt were colored with a clear spica glitter pen. I used little black hotfix stones for the little ball under her skirt. I made a bow from white satin ribbon. The flowers are punches and I used a black cabochon in the middle of the flower. The name Kelly was made with the Olivia alphabet from quickutz.

Voor Melanie heb ik hetzelfde gedaan. Ik heb alleen voor een andere stempel en een ander kleurtje gekozen. Melanie is wat ouder en dus vond ik daar een gorjuss girl van sugar nellie goed bij passen. Volgens mij heb ik ook ooit eens opgevangen dat ze paars een mooie kleur vond, dus voor haar een paars doosje. Ik heb de platen op de bovenkant met foamtape op de doosjes geplakt. In het midden zit geen foamtape en daar loopt een heel breed wit lint onder de afbeelding door, want ik heb om de doosjes een hele grote strik van wit lint gedaan.

I did the same thing for Melanie. I did choose another stamp and another color for her. Melanie is a bit older and I thought the gorjuss girl from sugar nellie was perfect for her. I think she likes lilac, so I made her a lilac box. I attached the cards with foamtape to the lids of the boxes. In the middle I didn't use foamtape and there is a big white ribbon. I tied it together on the front of the box.

DU2DS 12 - Create a scene

Goedemorgen allemaal. Vandaag staat de nieuwste challenge van Dare U 2 Digi stamp weer online en deze week is het de bedoeling dat je een kleine scene maakt op je kaartje. Ik vond hem best moeilijk en kon maar niets vinden wat ik op mijn kaartje wilde gebruiken. Uiteindelijk heb ik toch wat leuks gevonden. Het meisje op mijn kaartje is een digi stempel van Bee crafty en de fantastische bloemen achtergrond is van mijn maatje Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper). Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden. Het oogje is gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb haar mutsje en alle bloemetjes gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Het vlindertje is een ponsje en de stipjes zijn getekend met een zwarte fineliner. De rose streepjes zijn op de kaart geprint en de rose cirkel is uit bazzil papier gesneden met nestabilities en daarna geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Het tekstje is wel echt gestempeld met het clear stempelsetje Every day greetings van Elzybells. In de hoekjes zitten twee zwarte hotfix steentjes.

The butterfly was made with a punch and the dots were colored with a black fineliner. I printed the pink lines on a card and the pink circle was cut with nestabilities and then I embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The sentiment is from the clear stamp set Every day greetings from Elzybells. I added two black hotfix stones in the corners.

Bee Crafty 6 - Letters and numbers

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van de digi stempel firma: Bee crafty. Voor deze challenge is het de bedoeling dat je letters of cijfers gebruikt op je kaartje. Op mijn kaartje heb ik Fluffy Bunny birthday gebruikt. Het konijn is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en met een witte gelpen heb ik accenten aangebracht. Ik heb de ballon nog een keer geprint en deze met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op de ballon heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rode strepen achtergrond geprint. De tekst is gemaakt met het rollerskate alfabet van quickutz. Met een witte gelpen heb ik accentjes op de letters aangebracht. Met een tang van fiskars heb ik de kleine sterretjes geponst en op de kaart geplakt.

Today I made a card for the challenge of the Bee crafty blog. Bee crafty sells the cutest digi stamps. For this challenge you have to use letters or numbers on your card. On my card I used Fluffly bunny birthday. I colored the rabbit with derwent pencils. The eyes were colored with a black glaze pen and with a white gelpen I made some accents on the image. I printed the balloon again and used foamtape to stick it on my card. I colored the balloon with a clear spica glitter pen. On a white card I printed the red striped background. The sentiment was made with the Rollerskate alphabet from Quickutz. With my white gelpen I have drawn some accents on the letters. With a punch from Fiskars I made some little stars.

CAS19 - Poppies

Het kaarten maken ging gisteren zo lekker dat ik zelfs nog een derde kaart heb gemaakt voor de CAS challenge op SCS. Deze keer heb ik de geweldige afbeelding: Poppies van Chris Dark gebruikt. Ik heb de klaproosjes gekleurd met potloden van caran d'ache en derwent. Onder de afbeelding heb ik rose-rood kleurig Bazzil cardstock gebruikt. De kaart is verder heel simpel gehouden, want het enige wat ik verder heb gedaan is de tekst op de kaart printen.

Yesterday I was having so much fun while I was making cards, that I made a 3th card for the CAS challenge on SCS. This time I used the amazing image: Poppies from Chris Dark. I colored the poppies with caran d'ache and derwent pencils. I used a pink-red coloured cardstock from Bazzil under the image. I kept the card pretty simple and the only thing I did was printing the sentiment (get well) on the card.

Nog een keer CAS 19

Ik heb vanavond nog een kaartje voor de CAS challenge op SCS gemaakt. Deze keer heb ik één van de lieve gorjuss meiden op mijn kaartje gebruikt. Als basis heb ik een paars scrappapiertje gebruikt waarvan ik helaas het merk niet meer weet. Met de computer heb ik het vierkant met de tekst gemaakt. Van zwart satijn lint heb ik een strikje gemaakt en in de hoeken van het vierkant heb ik zwarte hotfix stenen gebruikt. De gorjuss girl is gestempeld op een los stuk papier. Ze is ingekleurd met derwent potloden en haar jurkje is gemaakt van hetzelfde paarse papier als waarvan de kaart is gemaakt. Het lijkt net stof. De oogjes van de beer en het meisje zijn weer gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ze is met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Tonight I made another card for the CAS challenge on SCS. This time I have used one of the sweet gorjuss girls on my card. As my base I used a lilac scrappaper, but I don't know where i have gotten it. The square with the sentiment was computer generated. I made a little bow from black satin ribbon and in the corners I added black hotfix stones. The gorjuss girl was stamped on a seperate piece of paper. She was colored with derwent pencils and her dress was made from the same lilac paper as I used for my card. It just looks like fabric. The eyes and nose from the bear and girl were colored with a black glaze pen. I used foamtape to mount her on my card.

CAS 19 sketch

Hallo allemaal. Vandaag heb ik weer eens meegedaan aan de CAS challenge op SCS. Ik moet eigenlijk nog allemaal andere dingen maken, maar ik had er nog niet zo'n zin in en wilde gewoon lekker een kaartje maken. Deze week moet je een sketch volgen bij de cas challenge. Ik heb op een stukje licht blauw ruitjes papier met blauwe inkt de tekst gestempeld. Onder de ruitjes zit een donkerblauw vierkant van papicolor papier. Van hetzelfde papier heb ik met een pons 7 bloemtjes geponst. In de hartjes van de bloemetjes zit een klein kristal hotfix steentje. Heel simpel, maar dat is natuurlijk ook de bedoeling van Clean And Simple kaarten.

Hi everyone. Today I made a card for the CAS challenge on SCS. Actually I have to do all kinds of other crafting, but I didn't feel like it and I just wanted to make a card for fun. This week the CAS challenge is a sketch. I stamped on a piece of light blue gingham paper the sentiment (Thanks) with dark blue ink. I also added a bigger square from dark blue papicolor paper. With a flower punch I made 7 flowers from the same dark blue paper. I added a tiny chrystal hotfix stone to each flower. Very simple, but that is what Clean And Simple cards are supposed to be.

DU2DS 11 - Chocolate orange

Goedemorgen allemaal. Vandaag is er weer een nieuwe challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp. Deze week hebben we een kleurencombinatie, namelijk chocolate en orange. Dit zijn nou niet kleuren die ik normaal gebruik, dus ik moest wel even goed nadenken wat ik zou gaan doen. Op mijn kaartje heb ik de digi stempels van twee verschillende setjes stempels van CC. designs gecombineerd met elkaar. Het hekje komt uit het setje Gingersnaps spring thing en het meisje met cocktail komt uit het setje Gingersnaps celebrate. Ik heb eerst het hekje geprint en deze daarna uitgesneden met rechthoekige nestabilities. Het meisje is op een apart stukje papier geprint en die heb ik na het inkleuren uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Zoals altijd heb ik gekleurd met derwent potloden. Het bloesje en de cocktail zijn gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Haar oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De bruine rechthoek is uitgesneden met de deckled nestabilities. Ik heb als basis een donkerbruine kaart genomen. Voor de achtergrond heb ik een bruin-oranje stipjes patroon gebruikt. Het tagje is van quickutz, de tekst is erop gestempeld met de set everyday greetings van Elzybells. Ik heb gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna is de tekst geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Er zit een oranje satijn lintje doorheen.

Good morning everyone. Today we have a new challenge from Dare U 2 Digi stamp. This week we have a color combination: Chocolate and orange. This is not a combination that I normally use, so I really had to think what I was going to do. On my card I have combined two digital stamp from two different sets of digi stamps from CC. Designs. The fence is from Gingersnaps spring thing and the girl is from the Gingersnaps celebrate set. I started with printing the fence and then I cut it out with rectangle nestabilities. The girl was printed on a separate piece of paper and after coloring I cut her out and used foam tape to put her on my card. As always I have colored with derwent pencils. Her cocktail and shirt were colored with a clear spica glitter pen. The eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. The brown rectangle was cut with deckled nestabilities. As my base I used a brown card. For the background I used a chocolate-orange dotted background. The tag is a die cut from Quickutz and I stamped the sentiment on it with the set everyday greetings from Elzybells. I stamped the sentiment with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I added an orange satin ribbon.

Ramon

Aanstaande dinsdag is mijn neef Ramon jarig en dus heb ik vandaag even een kaartje voor hem gemaakt. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de sketch van de Sketch saturday blog gevolgd. Ik heb voor mijn kaart een stempelafdrukje van High Hopes gebruikt. De giraf is ingekleurd met derwent kleurpotloden. Jaren geleden toen ik nog geen kaarten maakte, maakte ik altijd knuffels en popjes van stof. Op een dag toen waren met mijn moeder en tante aan het knutselen en ook Ramon zat erbij. Die ging toen wimpers maken voor de muizen en allerlei gekke dingen doen omdat het volgens hem een ordinaire muis moest worden. ;) Vandaar dat ik deze giraf ook een beetje heb toegetakeld met oogjes met hele lange wimpers en een snorretje. :) De oogjes zijn gemaakt met de stipjes die uit verschillende ponsjes vallen en de winpers en snor zijn gemaakt van een zakje met poppenhaar. Ik heb als basis een donkerbruine kaart gebruikt van Bazzil papier en ik heb op een stukje wit papier de streepjes achtergrond geprint. De driehoekjes in de hoek zijn gemaakt met een ponsje. De tekst van Elzybells is gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik er witte embossingpoeder overheen gedaan. De naam Ramon is gemaakt met het quickutz alfabet Rollerskate. De glaasjes zijn ponsjes en daar ben ik nog overheen gegaan met een clear spica glitter pen.

This Tuesday it is my cousin Ramon’s birthday and today I made him this card. For my card I used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday blog. I used a stamped image from High hopes for my card. I colored the giraffe with derwent pencils. Years ago when I didn’t make cards, I was always making dolls and stuffed animals. On one day I was crafting together with my mum and aunt and Ramon also decided to join our crafting session. He started making eyelashes for the mice we were making and he was doing all kinds of other stuff to make them really trashy ;). So I wanted to let the giraffe look a little bit like that. I gave him eyes with real long eyelashes and a moustache. The eyes were made from little punched dots and the moustache and eyelashes were made from dolls hair. :) As my base I used a dark brown cardstock from Bazzil. On a piece of white paper I printed the striped background. The triangles in the corner are made with a punch. The sentiment from Elzybells was stamped with Versamark ink and then I added white embossing powder. The name Ramon was made with the Rollerskate alphabet from Quickutz. The little glasses are punches and I colored them with a clear spica glitter pen.

Penny Black saturday challenge - Blooming gorgeous

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de Penny Black saturday challenge van deze week. Het thema deze week is Blooming gorgeous. Je mag het zo interpreteren als je zelf wil, als er dus maar wat bloemen op je kaart voorkomen. Voor mij was het een goed excuus om deze lieve stempel van de muisjes, die een madeliefjes ketting maken, te gebruiken. Ik heb de muisjes gekleurd met derwent en koh-i-noor potloden. De madeliefjes zijn nog eens extra gekleurd met de clear spica glitter pen. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rose strepen achtergrond geprint. De tekst is erop gestempeld. Ik heb met een tang van fiskars wat bloemetjes geponst en in de hartjes heb ik zwarte hotfix steentjes gebruikt. In de hoeken van de kaart zitten grotere hotfix stenen.

Today I made a card for the Penny Black saturday challenge from this week. This weeks theme is Blooming gorgeous. You can interpret this like you want, the only thing you have to do is use flowers somewhere on your card. For me it was a good excuse to use this sweet stamp from the little mice, who are making a daisy chain. I colored the image with derwent and koh-i-noor pencils. The daisies were coloured with a clear spica glitter pen. On a white card I printed the pink stripes. With a punch from fiskars I made some little flowers. In the hearts I used little black hotfix stones. In the corners of the card I used bigger hotfix stones.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp 10 - Ribbons

Goedemorgen allemaal! Het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge van Dare U 2 Digi stamp en deze week draait het allemaal om lintjes. Het is de bedoeling om op je kaart lint te gebruiken. Mijn design team genoten hebben weer allemaal schitterende creaties gemaakt, dus kom vooral een kijkje nemen! Ik heb ervoor gekozen om met lint een vlechtwerkje te maken. Ik heb met nestabilities een ovaal uitgesneden uit mijn kaart. Achter het ovaal heb ik het vlechtwerk van wit en paars satijn lint gemaakt. Langs de randen van de kaart en het ovaal heb ik met een witte gelpen de streepjes getrokken. De geweldige afbeelding van de rozen is van Chris Dark. Ik heb de Rosebud geprint in het paars in twee verschillende maten. Ik heb ze uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning everyone! It is time again for another challenge from Dare U 2 Digi Stamp and this week is all about ribbons. On your card you have to use ribbons somewhere. My design team mates have made amazing cards, so please go take a look! I did a little weaving on my card. With nestabilities I have cut an oval out of my card. Behind the oval I weaved a lilac and white satin ribbon. I did some faux stitching with a white gelpen on the edges of the card and the oval. The amazing image is from Chris Dark. I printed the Rosebud image in purple in two different sizes. Then I cut them out and used foamtape to mount them on my card.

Babykaartjes en een award

Goedemorgen allemaal! Gisteren heb ik heerlijk genoten van tweede pinksterdag. Heerlijk weer en lekker een kaartje maken! Ik heb weer een setje babykaartjes gemaakt. Op mijn kaartjes heb ik de geweldige stempels van Eline Pellinkhof gebruikt. Na het stempelen heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met de vierkante nestabilities. Ik heb er nog een laagje zwarte papier onder gedaan. De stempels zijn gekleurd met derwent en koh-i-noor potloden. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De stipjes op de wang zijn getekend met een witte gelpen. De tekst is geprint en daarna uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Aangezien er in deze maat geen bijpassende scallop nestabilitie is, heb ik de zwarte cirkels geponst. Met een potlood heb ik daarna ook nog de tekst gekleurd. Met een clear spica glitter pen heb ik wat gekleurd op de stempelafbeelding en ook de woorden zijn voorzien van glitter.

Goodmorning everyone! Yesterday I did enjoy a perfect national holiday. Nice weather and making a card! I did make some babycards again. On my cards I used the amazing baby stamps from Eline Pellinkhof. After the stamping I cut the images out with the square nestabilities. I added a black layer. The stamps were coloured with derwent and koh-i-noor pencils. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen. The dots on the cheeks were drawn with a white gelpen. The sentiment ( a sweet little boy/girl) was first printed and then cut out with the circle nestabilities. De black circles are made with a punch. I coloured the sentiment with a pencil. I added some glitter to the image with my clear spica glitter pen and I also coloured on the words.

Sketch saturday

Ik had gisteren lekker de tijd om te knutselen en aangezien ik de sketch van deze week van de sketch saturday blog zo leuk vond, heb ik besloten om mee te doen met een kaartje. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik een stempelafdrukje gebruikt die ik heb gekregen via mijn lieve vriendin Angela van deze lieve apenmoeder en kind van Stampendous. De aapjes heb ik gekleurd met potloden van derwent en koh-i-noor. De oogjes heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Op het schortje van de moeder heb ik met een witte gelpen de stippen getekend. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities en eronder zit een grotere zwarte ovaal. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rode stippen geprint. Het rode papier is van papicolor. De tekst heb ik eerst geprint en daarna is die uitgesneden met de ribbons tag trio van spellbinders. Ik heb er een zwart-wit geruit lintje doorheen gedaan. Het lintje is omgeslagen en daar zitten zwarte cabochons op. Daarna is de kaart afgemaakt met zwarte hotfix sterretjes.

Yesterday I had some time to craft and because I really liked this weeks sketch from the sketch saturday blog, so I decided to make a card. For my card I used a stamped image that I have gotten from my sweet friend Angela. It's the mother and baby monkey from Stampendous. I coloured the monkeys with pencils from derwent and koh-i-noor. The eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen. On the apron of the mother I have drawn some dots with a white gelpen. The image was cut out with the oval nestabilities and I added a bigger black oval. I printed the red dots on a white card. The red paper is from papicolor. I printed the sentiment first and then cut it out with one of the dies from the ribbon tags trio from Spellbinders. I added a black and white gingham ribbon. I added 2 black cabochons on the ribbon and I finished off my card with hotfix stars.
