Karin Joan - Sketch stencils - A simple pencil drawing

Hallo, vandaag post ik een tweede tekening dat ik heb gemaakt met de hele leuke Sketch stencils van Karin Joan. Ook  deze keer heb ik met de set Sketch stencils Floral 2 van Karin Joan gewerkt. Ik heb een bloem getekend op kraft papier en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden. Zo leuk om te doen en zo gaaf om te zien hoe de kleuren opvallen op het kraft karton. Ik had eigenlijk iets willen maken met deze tekening, maar door tijdsgebrek lukte dat helaas verder niet meer, omdat ik hem mee wilde nemen naar de beurs waar Karin haar stencils aan het demonstreren was. 

Hello, today I am posting my second drawing that I have made with the fun Sketch stencils from Karin Joan. This time I used the set Sketch stencils Floral 2 from Karin Joan. I have drawn a flower on kraft cardstock and then I used my Derwent lightfast pencils to colour my flower. I really enjoyed myself and I love how the colours pop on the kraft cardstock. I wanted to make a tag with this drawing, but I didn't have enough time to make it, so it is just a drawing.

Helen Campbell - Cosmos

Vorige week plaatste ik mijn eerste tekening die ik heb gemaakt nadat ik een tutorial van Helen Campbell heb gevolgd op youtube. Daarna heb ik nog een nieuwe tutorial gevolgd, want het was erg leuk om met mijn Derwent inktense potloden te werken. Deze keer heb ik de Inktense pencils tutorial from Helen Campbell op youtube gevolgd. Met een lichtbox heb ik de afbeelding overgetrokken op een vel papier van het Baohong masters' choice bloc medium. Daarna heb ik de bloemen gekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik ben erg blij met hoe mijn bloem is geworden. Ik vind de kleuren echt super mooi geworden en het was een erg leuke tutorial om te volgen.

Last week I posted my first drawing that I have made after I followed a tutorial from Helen Campbell on youtube. Later I followed a new tutorial, because I really enjoyed working with my Derwent inktense pencils. This time I have done the Inktense pencils tutorial from Helen Campbell on youtube. With the help of a lightbox I traced the image on a sheet of the Baohong masters' choice bloc medium. Then I coloured the flowers with my Derwent inktense pencils. I am really satisfied with what the flowers look like. I really love the colours and it was a very fun tutorial to follow.

Helen Campbell - Bluebells

Goedemorgen, een tijdje geleden heb ik de tutorials van Helen Campbell ontdekt op youtube. Ze werkt veel met aqaurelverf, maar heeft ook een lijstje met tutorials met Derwent inktense potloden. Ik heb deze potloden ook en ik wilde heel graag de manier leren die Helen gebruikt met deze potloden. Ik ben daarom begonnen met de Inktense pencil tutorial from Helen Campbell op youtube. Ik heb de schets van deze wilde hyacinten met een lichtbak overgetrokken op een vel papier van het Baohong masters' choice bloc medium. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding gekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden. Ik vond het begin best moeilijk, maar langzamerhand kreeg ik iets meer grip op wat ik aan het doen was. Het was in ieder geval erg leuk om te doen en ik ben tevreden met mijn tekening. 

Goodmorning, a while ago I have discovered the tutorials from Helen Campbell on youtube. She uses watercolour paint a lot, but she also has a list of tutorials in which she uses Derwent inktense pencils. I have these pencils and I really wanted to learn the way Helen uses these pencils. So I started the Inktense pencil tutorial from Helen Campbell on youtube. With the help of a lightbox I have traced the image of the bluebells on a sheet of paper from the Baohong masters' choice bloc medium. Then I coloured the image with my Derwent inktense pencils. The beginning was really hard , but in the end it became a bit more easier. I really enjoyed myself and I love the result.

Create a smile stamps - I feel so puzzled

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje op mijn blog. Deze keer heb ik een winters kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Puzzled van Create a smile stamps. Ik heb de afbeeldingen op kraft karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uit het kraft karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 93 van Crealies. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Puzzled van Create a smile stamps op het vierkant gestempeld. Ik heb het vierkant met foamtape op een kraft kaartje geplakt. De kaart is versierd met rode hotfix steentjes.

Workshop Derwent lightfast pencils from Julia Woning and Gerstacker

Hallo, vorige week heb ik op facebook meegedaan aan een workshop van Julia Woning aangeboden door Gerstacker. We kregen een voorbeeld tekening van deze toekan en die heb ik zelf eerst op grijs pastelmat papier getekend. Dit was erg moeilijk te zien, dus die tekening is niet helemaal goed geslaagd. "s avonds heb ik de tekening ingekleurd via de workshop op facebook (is helaas niet meer te zien) met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden. Gisteravond heb ik de tweede tekening gemaakt en deze keer op wit pastelmat papier. Die is al veel beter gelukt en daar ben ik best tevreden over. :)

Hello, last week I have participated in an online workshop from Julia Woning offered by Gerstacker. We got an example drawing from this toucan and the first time I have drawn it on dark grey pastelmat paper. It was very difficult to make a good drawing, so I am not totally satisfied with the drawing on the grey paper. I have coloured the image with Derwent lightfast pencils. Last night I did the tutorial for the second time, this time on white pastelmat papier. I am really satisfied with the result of this one. :)

Vandaag is het weer eens tijd om een nieuw kerstkaartje te posten op Merry Monday op mijn blog. Deze keer heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Mice in boots van Stamping Bella. Ik heb de afbeelding op kraft papier gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Na het inkleuren heb ik de stempel nog een keer afgedrukt. Dat kon omdat ik deze in mijn stempelhulp had laten inzitten en wow wat een verschil maakt dat. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies. Ik heb een kaart gemaakt van 2 geschulpte vierkanten van kraft karton die ik heb uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 van Crealies. Ik heb het vierkant met de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. Met een Witte posca pen heb ik verfspatjes op mijn kaart aangebracht. Ik heb daarna de tekst op de kaart gestempeld.

Today it is time again to post a new christmas card on Merry Monday on my blog. This time I have made a card with the stampset Mice in boots from Stamping Bella. I have stamped the image on kraft cardstock. I have coloured the image with my Derwent lightfast pencils and the black glaze pen. After I coloured the image, I have stamped it again. I hadn't removed the stamp from my stamping tool and so it was possible to stamp it again and I really love the difference it makes. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. I have made a card from 2 scalloped squares from kraft cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 54 from Crealies and then I glued the square on it. I have added white paint splatters with the White posca pen. Then I stamped the sentiment on the card.

Kleuren met potloden - Feeling frosty from Sunny studio stamps

Goedemorgen, vandaag mag ik weer een nieuw project posten op het Kleuren met potloden blog. Ik plaats vandaag 2 doosjes die ik heb gemaakt voor de advents kalender (klik op het linkje voor alle posts) voor mijn tantes. In de doosjes zit een flesje handdesinfectie.

Met de Silhouette cameo heb ik 2 doosjes gesneden uit kraft karton. Ik heb de doosjes bestempeld met afbeeldingen van de stempelset Feeling frosty van Sunny studio stamps. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden. Ik heb geen terpentine gebruikt, maar alleen de potloden om de afbeeldingen in te kleuren. 

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new project on the Kleuren met potloden blog. I have made 2 boxes for the advent calendar (click on the link for all posts) for my aunts. In the boxes is a little bottle handdesinfection.

I have cut the boxes from kraft cardstock with the Silhouette cameo. Then I stamped on the boxes a couple of images from the stampset Feeling frosty from Sunny studio stamps. I have coloured the images with my Derwent lightfast pencils. I didn't use any gamsol at all, I just used the pencils to colour the images.

To Bee or Not To Bee Blog Hop

Hallo! Vandaag is het World bee day! World bee day is een dag waarop de rol van bijen (en andere bestuivers) voor het ecosysteem wordt gevierd. Vandaag post ik 2 kaartjes. Mijn eerste kaartje is ook gemaakt voor het Kleuren met potloden blog. Ik heb één van de lieve beertjes van de digitale stempelset Sweet honey pairables van Digi doodle studios geprint en daarna heb ik het beertje ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de vleugels en de zwarte strepen gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een strepen achtergrond gestempeld met de Watercolour stripes background (retired) van My favorite things. Ik heb hiervoor Wild honey Distress oxide inkt gebruikt. Daarna heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 10 van Crealies een rechthoek gestanst uit het achtergrond papier. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 95 van Crealies een rechthoek uit zwart karton gestanst. Ik heb de rechthoeken op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik ze op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een cirkel uit zwart karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 92 van Crealies en daarna heb ik de cirkel met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de tekst Happy bee-day uit zwart karton gestanst met de Mini alpha & number cutter dies (retired) van CC. designs en daarna heb ik de tekst onder de cirkel op de kaart geplakt. 

Today I am posting 2 cards. My first card is also made for the Kleuren met potloden blog. Ik heb de Birthday bee (digital stamp) van Gerda Steiner designs ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de witte gelpen. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een kraft kaart heb ik regenboog streepjes papier van het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn geplakt en daarna heb ik nog een laagje kraft karton toegevoegd. Ik heb met een zwarte gelpen lijntjes langs de randen van het kraft karton getekend. Ik heb het bijtje met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst hooray komt van de set Party animals (clear stamp) van Gerda Steiner designs en deze heb ik onder de afbeelding gestempeld. Met een zwarte gelpen heb ik het gestikte lijntje onder de bij getekend. Daarna heb ik het sterretje van de set Alien invasion (clear stamp) van Gerda Steiner designs op diverse plekken op de kaart gestempeld. Op de voelsprietjes van de bij heb ik zwarte hotfix steentjes geplakt. 

My second card is made with a sweet bee from Gerda Steiner designs. One of the sponsors from our bloghop is Gerda Steiner designs, so I also wanted to make a card with a sweet bee from Gerda for the hop.
I have coloured the Birthday bee (digital stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs with my Polychromos pencils and the white gelpen. Then I have fussy cut the image. On a kraft card I glued rainbow patterned paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn and then I added another layer of kraft cardstock. I doodled lines on the edges of the kraft cardstock with a black gelpen. Then I glued the little bee with foamtape on the card. The sentiment Hooray is from the set Party animals (clear stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs and I stamped it under the image. I doodled the stitched swirl with a black gelpen. Then I stamped a couple of stars on the card with the star stamp from the set Alien invasion (clear stamp) from Gerda Steiner designs. I added black hotfix gems on the antenna from the bee.

Two medals for my nephews and two more just for fun

Hello, this is day 21 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag laat ik weer een nieuw projectje zien. Het was een beetje stil op mijn blog. Ik heb het erg druk gehad op mijn werk door het Corona virus en door al het nieuws rondom dit virus ben ik ook een beetje mijn zin in het knutselen verloren. Maar eigenlijk is dat knutselen juist een goede manier om mijn aandacht van deze rare periode af te leiden, dus ik ga toch proberen om lekker met stempeltjes en potloden aan de gang te blijven. Hopelijk lukt dat. En dan wil ik iedereen natuurlijk vooral een goede gezondheid toewensen. Hopelijk gaat deze gekke periode snel voorbij....

Vorige week belde mijn broer op dat mijn neefjes hun rapport wilden komen laten zien en dat kan natuurlijk niet zomaar. Ik ben dus op zoek gegaan naar een snel projectje om ze samen met een klein cadeautje te kunnen geven. In de Silhouette design store zag ik hele leuke medailles staan en die waren ook niet zo moeilijk om te maken, want veel tijd had ik niet. Helaas zat het weer niet mee en kon ik de medailles die ik voor mijn neefjes maakte niet mooi op de foto krijgen, dus heb ik nog 2 extra medailles gemaakt en vandaag laat ik ze allemaal zien. Voor de medailles heb ik de Carrot badge van Planeta Silhouette gebruikt. Het worteltje heb ik niet uitgesneden, want ik wilde iets  anders met mijn medaille doen.

Today I am showing a new project. It has been a bit quiet on my blog. I have been really busy at work because of the Corona virus and I also lost the joy in crafting a bit because of all the bad news we are constantly hearing. But crafting is the way to keep my mind distracted from all of this, so I am going to try to craft some more this week. I hope it works. I hope everyone is staying healthy and I really hope this weird period will end soon....

Last week my brother called me to tell me my nephews wanted to show their report cards. And because of that I had to make them something. So I decided to look for a quick project , so I could give it together with a little present. In the Silhouette design store I saw these cute medails and because they weren't really difficult to make, they were perfect, because I didn't have much time. Unfortunately the weather wasn't really good, so I couldn't make pretty pictures of the medals that I made for my nephews, so I decided to make 2 more medals and today I am showing them all. For the medals I have used the file Carrot badge from Planeta Silhouette. I didn't cut the carrots, because I wanted to decorate my medals with something else. 

Ik heb de medaille uit wit karton gesneden met de silhouette. Op één van de cirkels heb ik een diertje van de stempelset 1st Class cuties II from Alpaca pals gestempeld. Voor deze medailles heb ik voor de hond en het katje gekozen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Derwent lightfast potloden. De oogjes van de diertjes heb ik daarna nog eens gekleurd met een zwarte gelpen. De medaille heb ik gekleurd met Distress inkt. Ik heb ze gekleurd met Scattered straw, Wild honey, Spiced marmelade, Mowed lawn en Festive berries Distress inkt. 

I have cut the medal from white cardstock with the silhouette. On one of the circles I have stamped an animal from the 1st Class cuties II from Alpaca pals. For these medals I have chosen the dog and the cat. I have coloured the images with my Derwent lightfast pencils. I used a black gelpen to colour the eyes of the animals. The medal is coloured with Distress ink. I coloured them with Scattered straw, Wild honey, Spiced marmelade, Mowed lawn and Festive berries Distress ink.

Op de medailles voor mijn neefjes heb ik diertjes van de stempelset 1st Class cuties van Alpaca pals gebruikt. Deze afbeeldingen zijn ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte gelpen en een witte gelpen voor op de wangetjes. Deze medailles zijn gekleurd met Scattered straw, Wild honey, Spiced marmelade, Peacock feathers en Blueprint sketch Distress inkt. 

On the medals for my nephews I used animals from the stampset 1st Class cuties from Alpaca pals. These animals are coloured with my Polychromos pencils, a black and white gelpen. The medals are coloured with Scattered straw, Wild honey, Spiced marmelade, Peacock feathers and Blueprint sketch Distress ink.
