Di's digi stamps - Happy mother's day

Goedemorgen, gisteren was het moederdag in Nederland en ik heb een kaartje voor mijn moeder gemaakt met een digitale stempel van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding Tails together mice van Di's digi stamps ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Op de voorkant van een witte kaart heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Peacock feathers Distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb daarna ook nog kleine verfspatjes gemaakt met de Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Boven de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Spring botanicals - Daffodil van Uniko gestempeld.

On the front of a white card I have made a background for my image with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Peacock feathers Distress ink. Ik heb een kleine vergissing gemaakt en in plaats van de afbeelding van de sponsor te gebruiken, heb ik voor een eigen afbeelding gekozen. Dit kaartje is het kaartje dat ik voor mijn moeder heb gemaakt voor moederdag. Deze digitale stempel is Love bug van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Ik heb het bloemetjes gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb hier met Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrond voor mijn afbeelding op gemaakt. Ik heb met de Grass border (retired) van CC. Designs een grasrandje uit wit karton gestanst en dat heb ik gekleurd met Mowed lawn distress inkt en daarna heb ik het op de achtergrond geplakt. De afbeeldingen zijn met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 van Crealies heb ik uit roze ruitjespapier van het Classic gingham paperpad van Sunny studio een vierkant gestanst en dat heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Big scripty words van Lawn fawn op wit karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze uitgestanst met de Big scripty words matching dies van Lawn fawn. Ik heb de tekst met foamtape onder de afbeelding geplakt.

I made a little mistake and instead of using the image from our sponsor, I have made a card with another digital stamp. This is the card that I have made for mother's day for my mother. This digital stamp is Love bug from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. The flower is coloured with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from white cardstock. I have made a backgroud for the image with Tumbled glass distress ink. With the Grass border (retired) from CC. Designs I have die-cut a little grass border from white cardstock and I coloured it with Mowed lawn distress ink. I glued the grass on the rectangle and then I added the images with foamtape. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies I have die-cut a square from pink patterned paper from the Classic gingham paperpad from Sunny studio and I glued it on a white card. On white cardstock I have stamped a sentiment from the set Big scripty words from Lawn fawn and then I have die-cut it with the Big scripty words matching dies from Lawn fawn. I glued the sentiment with foamtape on the card.

A little present for my mum

Goedemorgen, dit jaar heb ik voor moederdag eens geen kaartje gemaakt voor mijn moeder, maar ik heb een leuke verpakking gemaakt voor een cadeautje dat ik voor haar heb gekocht. Ik had een vrij groot tasje/doosje nodig en daarom heb ik zelf een doosje gemaakt voor mijn cadeautje. Het doosje is gemaakt van 2 vellen 2 wit A4 karton. Voor ik het doosje in elkaar heb geplakt, heb ik het eerst beschilderd met roze metallic acryl verf die ik in de Sostrene grene heb gekocht. Het klepje van het doosje is helemaal roze geverfd. Met een gaatjestang heb ik gaatjes gemaakt voor het witte lintje. De hoekjes van het klepje zijn afgerond met de corner chomper.
Ik heb mijn doosje versierd met weer een hele schattige digitale stempel van Di's digi stamps. Dit is Little mice blooms van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de black glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgeknipt en met foamtape op mijn doosje geplakt.

Goodmorning, this year I didn't make a card for my mum on mother's day, but instead I made her a little bag/box for a present I bought her. The box had to be large, so I used 2 sheets of A4 white cardstock. Before I glued the box together, I painted stripes on it with metallic pink acrylic paint that I bought from Sostrene grene. I painted the lid of the box totally pink. I made holes in it with a holepunch for the white ribbon. I rounded the corners with the corner chomper. 
I decorated the box with a very cute digital stamp from Di's digi stamps. This is Little mice blooms from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image and adhered it on the bag with foamtape.

Hallo, vorige maand was ik bijna te laat met mijn kaartje voor de maandelijkse challenge van Gerda Steiner designs, maar gelukkig is het me deze maand gelukt om ruim op tijd te zijn. Moest ook wel want ik heb een moederdagkaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding van deze maand en dan is het toch iets leuker om die kaart voor moederdag te posten. ;) Deze maand is de afbeelding van de maandelijkse challenge Flowers for you van Gerda Steiner designs. Als je deze afbeelding koopt en er een kaartje mee maakt voor de challenge. krijg je de afbeelding van de volgende maand gratis in je mailbox!
Zoals gezegd moet je deze keer een kaart maken met de afbeelding Flowers for you van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de afbeelding gewoon heel groot gelaten en samen met een tekst op wit karton geprint. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en witte gelpen ingekleurd. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies uitgesneden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op een kraft kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart daarna nog versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes en mijn kaart is klaar. :)

It had to be finished, since I made a card for mother's day and then it is kind of nice to post it before mothers's day. As I said this months image is Flowers for you from Gerda Steiner designs. I didn't resize the image and added a sentiment and then I printed the image on white cardstock. Then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have cut the image out with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies and adhered it with foamtape on a kraft card. Then I decorated the card with a couple of black hotfix gems and my card was done. :)

Moederdagkaartje

Hallo, het is vandaag moederdag en dus laat ik nu nog even het kaartje zien dat ik voor mijn moeder heb gemaakt. Ik moest hem vandaag nog even snel afmaken, want er kwamen helaas andere dringende dingen tussendoor. Het kaartje is dan ook niet helemaal naar mijn zin, maar gelukkig vond mijn moeder hem wel leuk. 

Op het kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Little mouse van Di's digital stamps gebruikt. De muis is ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Uit roze karton heb ik met de cirkel nestabilities een kaart gesneden en daarop heb ik een witte cirkel geplakt. De witte cirkel is uitgesneden met de  Stitched mat: circles van Lil inkers designs en de cirkel heb ik daarna geëmbost met een hartjesembossingsfolder. Van wit borduurgaren heb ik een klein strikje gemaakt en dat heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Binnenin het kaartje had ik de tekst gestempeld, maar die ben ik vergeten te fotograveren. 

Hello, tody it is Mother's day in the Netherlands and I wanted to show you the little card I made for my mother. I had to finish it today, because some things happened and I couldn't finish it earlier. I am not totally satisfied, but my mother loved it. 

On my card I have used the image Little mouse from Di's digital stamps. I colored the mouse with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut the image out. I have cut a circle card out of pink cardstock with my nestabilities. On top of the card I adhered a circle that I cut out of white cardstock with the Stitched mat: circles from Lil inkers designs and I embossed that circle with a hearts embossingfolder. I added a tiny bow made from white embroideryfloss. I stamped a sentiment inside the card but forgot to take a picture of it.

Guestdesigner by Paper crafting challenges

Goedemorgen, vandaag ben ik guestdesigner bij het Paper crafting challenge blog omdat ik een tijdje geleden hun challenge had gewonnen. Ik heb hun no patterned paper challenge gewonnen met het tweede kaartje uit deze post. De prijs was een leuke stempelset van Waffleflower en ik mocht guestdesigner zijn bij hun volgende challenge. 

De challenge deze keer is Use your favorites, een erg leuke challenge wat mij betreft! ;) Mijn favorieten zijn sowieso natuurlijk cute kaartjes met afbeeldingen waar ik heerlijk op kan kleuren. Verder ben ik gek van stipjes, dat kan in design papier zijn, maar natuurlijk ook geëmboste stipjes. Bovendien houd ik van simpele kaarten, ik heb nooit vel laagjes papier op een kaart geplakt...dat kan ik gewoon niet, dan krijg ik ruzie met de keuze voor de papieren die ik moet gebruiken. Hihi

Ik heb mijn kaartje gemaakt met een afbeelding van de Spring Honey and truffle set van de Digistamp boutique. Dit is Spring Truffle bear. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Sommige bloemetjes heb ik gekleurd met de clear wink of stella brush pen. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik gekleurd met blauw krijt. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Stitched mats: circles van Lil' inker designs. Op mijn kaart heb ik een laag paars karton geplakt. Eerst heb ik hier een stiklijntje op getekend met een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik het geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder. Daarna heb ik er nog een wit lintje omheen gebonden. Op het strikje heb ik nog een wit knoopje geplakt. De tekst is op de computer gemaakt en daarna geponst met de Stampin up word window punch.

Goodmorning, today I am the guestdesigner at the Paper crafting challenge blog because a while ago I had won their challenge. I won their no patterned paper challenge with the second card from this post. The price was a very nice stampset from Waffleflower and that I could be their guestdesigner in their next challenge.

The challenge this time is Use your favorites, a very fun challenge! ;) My favorites are cute cards with nice images that I can color with my pencils. I also love dots very much, in design paper and but also embossed dots. I also love very simple cards. I was never able to use lots of layers of paper on a card....I just can't, I always have a fight then which papers I have to use. lol

I made a card with an image from the Spring Honey and Truffle set from The digistamp boutique. This is Spring Truffle bear. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen. I colored some of the flowers with the clear wink of stella brush pen. I colored around the image with blue chalk. I have cut the image out with the Stitched mats: circles from Lil' inkers designs. I adhered a layer of purple cardstock on my card. But first I added faux stitching on it with a white gelpen and then I embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder. Then I wrapped a white ribbon around it. I adhered a tiny white button on top of the bow. I made the sentiment on the computer ad punched it with the Stampin up word window punch.

Moederdagskaartje

Goedemorgen, een fijne moederdag toegewenst voor iedereen. Vandaag laat ik het kaartje zien dat ik voor mijn moeder heb gemaakt. Ik heb weer eens een stempel van Magnolia gebruikt, dat doe ik eigenlijk zelden. Deze Tilda verkleed als vlinder is toch wel erg lief. Ik heb Tilda ingekleurd met mijn potloden en haar ogen zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Op haar vleugels heb ik glitter aangebracht met een clear glitter pen, maar dat is niet zo goed te zien op de foto. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt en daarna met foamtape op een cirkel geplakt die ik heb uitgesneden met mijn nestabilities. Langs de rand van de cirkel heb ik een sierrandje gedoodled met een zwarte fineliner. Op een kant en klare scallop kaart heb ik een laag paars ruitjes papier geplakt, nadat ik daar eerst een wit lintje omheen heb gebonden. De bloemetjes zijn geponst uit wit papier met Nellie Snellen floral punches. In het midden van de bloemen heb ik een paarse stip en een geruite paarse stip geplakt. De takjes heb ik uit groen papier geponst. De tekst heb ik geprint en daarna geponst met de word window punch van Stampin up. 

Goodmorning, a happy mother's day for everyone. Today I am showing you the card that I made for my mum. I used a magnolia stamp, which I almost never use anymore. This Tilde dressed up as a butterfly is such a cutie. I coloured Tilda with my pencils and her eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen. I used a clear glitter pen to colour on her wings. I have cut the image out and adhered it on a white circle that I cut with the circle nestabilities. I doodled a border around the edge of the circle. On a scalloped card I added a layer of piurple gingham paper, after I wrapped a white ribbon around it. The flowers are punched out of white paper with the Nellie Snellen floral punches. I added a purple and a purple gingham dot to the centres. I punched the branches out of green paper. I printed the sentiment (for the sweetest mum) and punched it with the word window punch from Stampin up.

Ready teddy go - Mum's the word

Goedemorgen, vandaag ben ik voor Stampfairy te gast bij het Ready teddy go challenge blog en hun challenge staat deze week al in het teken van moederdag. In Engeland wordt moederdag namelijk al op 10 maart gevierd, dus dat is al bijna! 

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met een afbeelding uit de Lenny flowers collectie van Stampfairy. Ik heb Lenny ingekleurd met mijn potloden en voor zijn neus heb ik de zwarte glaze pen gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgknipt. Als basis heb ik een gele kaart genomen en daarop heb ik geel stipjes papier geplakt. Onder de beer zelf heb ik geel ruitjespapier geplakt waarop ik de tekst heb geprint. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van het rechthoek getekend. Daarna heb ik een zwart lintje rondom het rechthoek gebonden. Over de kaart heb ik nog een strip geel papier geplakt. De onderkant van de strip is uitgesneden met de Mini scallop edge dienamics die van My favorite things. Ik heb er met een zwarte fineliner stiklijntjes op getekend en daarna heb ik er 3 grote zwarte hotfix rondjes op geplakt. In de linker bovenhoek heb ik nog 2 zwarte knopen geplakt waar ik eerst gele scrappersfloss doorheen heb gedaan. 

Goodmorning, today I am a  guest at the Ready teddy go challenge, because Stampfairy is sponsoring their challenge this week. The challenge is Mum's the word, because it is almost mother's day in the UK.

I have made a card with an image from the Lenny flowers collection from Stampfairy. I have coloured Lenny with my pencils and I used a black glaze pen to colour his nose. I have cut the image out. I used yellow cardstock for my card and I added a layer of yellow dotted paper on it. Under the image I used yellow designpaper. I printed the sentiment on it and wrapped a black ribbon around it. I added a strip of yellow paper. I cut the bottom of the strip with the Mini scallop edge dienamics from My favorite things. With a black pen I added faux stitching. I decorated the strip with large black round hotfix gems. In the left upper corner I adhered 2 black button that I threaded with yellow scrappers floss. 

Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart ook nog versierd. Hiervoor heb ik een afbeelding uit de Lenny notes collectie van Stampfairy gebruikt. Ik heb eerst tekst op de afbeelding geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Vervolgens heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Het witte vel heb ik versierd met een rand geel streepjes papier aan de boven- en onderkant. Ik heb ook nog stiklijntjes getekend met een zwarte fineliner.

I also decorated the inside of my card. I used an image from the Lenny notes collection from Stampfairy. I started with adding a sentiment to the image and then I coloured it with my pencils and a black glaze pen. I cut the image out. I decorated the white paper with a strip of yellow striped paper and some faux stitching.

Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een kaartje te maken waar binnenin een giftcard gestopt kan worden. Ik heb het modelletje voor dit kaartje gehaald uit het tijdschrift kadoosjes, die ik vorige week terugvond toen ik aan het opruimen was. :) Ik heb het model nagemaakt met de silhouette, zodat ik alles makkelijk kon uitsnijden. Het hoesje is gemaakt van wit karton en dat heb ik beplakt met roze design papier met een heeeeeeeeel klein ruitje. Als je de foto vergroot kun je het wel zien. ;) Op het design papier heb ik ovalen geplakt die ik uit zwart en zwart-wit gestipt papier heb gesneden, geplakt. Rondom de kaart heb ik een zwart lintje geplakt waarmee je de kaart kan sluiten. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Wryn - Grow a little love van Tiddly Inks. Wryn is ingekleurd met potloden en haar bloemetjes heb ik gepaperpieced met het roze ruitjes papier. De bloemetjes zijn gemaakt met ponsjes.

Goodmorning, today a new Tiddly Inks challenge has started and this week the challenge is all about mother's day. You have to make a card or something else for mother's day. I have chosen to make a card with a pocket for a giftcard on the inside. I found this layout in a magazine that I found when I was cleaning my room. :) I have made the template for the card on the silhouette, so I could cut everything very easily. I have used white cardstock for the cardand on top of that I added a layer of pink gingham paper. The gingham pattern is really tiny, if you click on the picture you can see it. I added 2 ovals that are cut from black and black and white dotted paper. I wrapped a black ribbon around the card to keep it closed. The image I used is Wryn- grow a little love from Tiddly Inks. Wryn is coloured with pencils and a black glaze pen. I have paperpieced the flowers with the gingham paper. I have used punches to make the flowers. 

Binnenin heb ik een tekstje geplakt. Hij is van een Wryn afbeelding, maar ik weet even niet meer welke. ;) Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de ronde nestabilities en daaronde heb ik nog een gestipte cirkel toegevoegd. Ik vond de tekst daarna op een bloemetje lijken, dus ik heb er met een zwarte fineliner een stengel met blaadjes onder getekend. De binnenkant van de kaart is eerst bestempeld met de envelope pattern van Hero arts en daarna heb ik roze gestreept en zwart-wit gestipt design papier op de diverse panelen geplakt. Midden zit een vakje waarin de giftcard in gestopt kan worden. 

On the inside I added a sentiment. It is from a Wryn image, but I can't remember which one. ;) I have cut the sentiment with the circle nestabilities and I added another circle from black and white dotted paper. I thought the sentiment looked like a flower, so I decided to turn it into a little flower. I have drawn a stem and some leaves with a black fineliner. The inside of the card is stamped with the envelope pattern stamp from Hero arts. I added some pink striped and black and white dotted paper on the different panels on the inside. I have added a pocket on the inside of the card and you can add the giftcard in it.

Tiddly Inks - Mother's day set

Hallo! Dit cadeausetje heb ik voor moederdag voor mijn lieve mams gemaakt. Voor de hele set heb ik deze geweldige bloemetjes gebruikt die Christy Croll van Tiddly Inks heeft getekend. De set heet Poppy accents en die bestaat uit 3 verschillende afbeeldingen, waarvan ik er 2 heb gebruikt voor mijn set. Ik heb een kaart gemaakt en 2 gableboxes in verschillende maten. Ik had eerst de grote en daarna leek het me leuk om het patroon te verkleinen toen ik hem uitsneed met de silhouette en aangezien de kleine wel erg schattig is, moest die er ook bij! :)

Hello! I made this gift set for my sweet mam for mother's day. I used the fabulous flowers that Christy Croll from Tiddly Inks has drawn for the whole set. The images also come in a set and it is called Poppy accents, it has 3 images and I used 2 of them for my set. I made a card and 2 gableboxes in different sizes. I started out with the large gablebox, but when I was cutting it with the silhouette, I wanted to see it in a small size. The little one was so cute that I had to include it to the gift set! :)

Ik heb de afbeelding geprint en daaronder ook meteen de tekst geprint. De bloemetjes heb ik ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding en tekst uitgesneden met de nestabilities labels 8. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik gedoodled langs de randen van de label. Ik heb er nog wat zwart bakers twine omheen gedaan en daar een strikje in gemaakt.

I have printed the image and I also added the sentiment under it. The flowers are coloured with my pencils. I have cut the image and sentiment out with the nestabilities labels 8.  I doodled on the edge of the label with a black fineliner I wrapped some black bakers twine around the label and made a little bow in it.

De kleine gablebox heb ik versierd met het Poppy accents frame. Ik heb op de computer de tekst geschreven in het kader en dat samen geprint. Het frame heb ik vlak langs de rand uitgeknipt en deze heb ik op de voor- en achterkant van de gablebix geplakt.

The little gablebox is decorated with the Poppy accents frame. I have added the sentiment with my computer and printed them both. I cut the frame out and adhered it at the back and front of the box.

De grote gablebox heb ik versierd met de bloemenafbeelding. Ik heb er nog een laagje zwart papier onder geplakt. Het frame heb ik nog eens geprint en uitgeknipt en ook deze heb ik op zwart papier geplakt. Daarna heb ik het frame uit het zwarte papier geknipt en in de linker bovenhoek heb ik een klein gaatje gemaakt. Deze heb ik met een klein strikje van zwart bakers twine aan het doosje bevestigd.

I have decorated the large gablebox with the flower image. I added a layer of black paper. I printed the poppy accents frame again and adhered that also on black paper. I have cut the frame out en made a little hole in the left top corner. I attached it to the gablebox with a bow that I made with black bakers twine.

Tiddly Inks 2 - A mother's day card.

Goedemorgen allemaal. Vandaag beginnen we alweer aan de tweede challenge van Tiddly inks. De eerste challenge was een groot succes en we hopen dan ook allemaal, dat ook deze challenge een succes gaat worden. Deze week willen we graag moederdag kaarten zien. Ik heb op mijn kaartje dit lieve schatje Send me a sign bugg gebruikt die te koop is in de gloednieuwe Tiddly Inks shop. Op het bord heb ik de tekst getypt. Ik heb een witte kaart gebruikt en daar het paarse patroon op geprint. Daarna heb ik met de nestabilities labels one een gat in de voorkant van de kaart gemaakt. Het bugje heb ik kleren en een mutsje gegeven van hetzelfde patroon dat ik eerst verkleind heb. De rest van de afbeelding heb ik gekleurd met derwent potloden. De oogjes en de bolletjes op  voelsprieten zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Op de vleugels heb ik glitter aangebracht. In het bord heb ik met een tang 2 kleine gaatjes gemaakt en dat heb ik ook boven het gat in de kaart gedaan. De afbeelding heb ik met 2 kleine ringetjes aan de kaart bevestigd. Ik heb van wit lint een klein strikje gemaakt dat rondom de kaart hangt. In de rechter bovenhoek heb ik 2 bloemen  geplakt die ik heb gemaakt met de floral punches van Nellie Snellen. De hartjes van de bloemen zijn gemaakt met een klein bloemenponsje. Voor binnenin de kaart heb ik een grotere maat label met de nestabilities labels one uitgesneden uit wit papier. Ik heb het geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug.

Goodmorning everyone. Today we are starting on the second challenge of Tiddly inks. Our first challenge was a huge success and we all hope that this challenge is also going to be a huge success. :) This week we want to see mother's day cards. On my card I have used the very cute Send me a sign bugg which is available now at the brand new Tiddly inks shop. I have added the sentiment (happy mother's day) on the sign of the bugg. I used a white card and printed the purple pattern on it. I made a hole in the front of the card with the labels one nestabilities. I paperpieced the clothes of the bugg and I used the same purple pattern (in a smaller size). The rest of the image was colored with derwent pencils. They eyes and the antennas were colored with a black glaze pen. I have added glitter to the wings of the bugg. I made two little holes in the sign and in the card. I have attached the image with rings to the card. I made a bow from white satin ribbon. In the left corner I placed two flowers that I made with the floral punches from Nellie Snellen. I punched two little purple flowers and I added them in the middle of the big flowers. Inside the card I placed a label made with the nestabilities labels one. I embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug.

Elzybells challenge - Mother's day

Hi! Vandaag heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van Elzybells. Het is de bedoeling dat je een moederdagkaartje maakt en daarbij een leuke sketch volgt. De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is het lieve schaapje uit de clear stempelset From me to ewe. Ik blijf het een lieverd vinden met dat bloemetje in zijn mond. Ik heb het schaapje eerst gekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Ik heb daarna het schaap nog een keer gestempeld op een stukje groen geruit papier voor zijn vacht. De ogen van het schaap heb ik gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De afbeelding heb ik uitgesneden met de rechthoekige nestabilities. Op de groene kaart heb ik met een witte gelpen streepjes langs de randen getekend. Daarna heb ik de tekst gestempeld in de hoek. Op een stukje wit papier heb ik een aantal keer het kleine bloemetje gestempeld. Deze heb ik daarna allemaal uitgeknipt en daarna heb ik ze willekeurig rondom de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt.

Hi! Today I have made this card for the Elzybells challenge. You have to make a mother's day card and follow a great sketch. The stamp that I used is the cute sheep from the Elzybells clear stamp set From me to ewe. I love this little cutie with his flower. I first coloured the sheep with my derwent pencils. Then I stamped the image again on green gingham paper to create his fur. The eyes are coloured with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the rectangle nesties. I did some faux stitching with a white gelpen at the edges of my green card. Then I stamped the sentiment in the corner. I stamped the little flower that is from the same stamp set a couple of time in the corners and cut them all out. Then I placed them at random on my card.

Moederdag

Vandaag is het moederdag en natuurlijk heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn lieve mams. :) Voor mijn kaartje heb ik de stempelset: Embrace life van Stampin Up gebruikt die niet alleen ik erg mooi vind, maar mijn moeder vind hem ook geweldig mooi. Hij was dus perfect voor een moederdagkaartje. De set was een cadeautje van mijn lieve vriendin Angela en ik ben er zo blij mee!!!! Mijn kaartje is vrij eenvoudig geworden. Ik heb met mijn nestabilities een cirkel uitgesneden uit een rose kaartje. Langs de rand van de cirkel heb gestikt met de naaimachine. De tekst is geprint en het takje is er bij gestempeld. Het takje is gekleurd met derwent potloden. Ik heb een klein strikje van wit satijnen lint gemaakt. In de hoekjes heb ik witte cabochons geplakt met mijn hotfix applicator.

Today it is mother's day in the Netherlands and offcourse I made a card for my sweet mum. :) For my card I used the stampset: Embrace life from Stampin Up. I am not the only one who really loves this set, but my mum also loves it very much! So it was perfect for a mother's day card. The stamp set was a present from my dear friend Angela and I am so happy with it!!!! My card is pretty simple. I used my circle nestabilities to cut a circle out a pink card. I stitched along the edge of the circle. I printed the sentiment (happy mother's day) and stamped the image next to it. I colored the branch with my derwent pencils. I made a little bow from white satin ribbon. In the corners I added white cabochons with my hotfix applicator.

Dit is het cadeautje dat ik haar ga geven. Ik kon het natuurlijk gewoon maar inpakken, maar dat is niet leuk. :) Ik had nog rose inpakpapier in bijna hetzelfde kleurtje als mijn kaartje en daar heb ik op gestempeld met de bloem uit de stempelset Embrace life. Met de JustRite stamper heb ik haar monogram gestempeld met een leuk sierrandje erom heen. Het monogram heb ik uitgesneden met cirkel nestabilities. Ik heb van zwart satijn lint een strikje om het pakje gemaakt en daar het monogram overheen gedaan.

This is the present I am going to give. I could have wrapped it up just normally but that is no fun. :) I did have some pink wrapping paper in almost the same color as my card and I stamped on it with the flower from the stampset Embrace life. With the JustRite stamper I stamped her monogram with a nice decorative edge. I cut the monogram out with my circle nestabilities. I added a bow from black satin ribbon and attached the monogram on top of it.
