Whimsy stamps - Do what makes you happy

 

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt met een afbeelding van Whimsy stamps. Deze keer heb ik een mini slimline kaartje gemaakt met de Bashful ballerina (digital stamp) van Whimsy stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb een mini slimline kaartje gemaakt van kraft karton. Uit wit karton heb ik een laag voor op de kaart gestanst met de Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) van Whimsy stamps. Het roze stipjes papier van het Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) van Whimsy stamps is ook met dezelfde die set uitgestanst. Ik heb het roze stipjespapier op het witte karton geplakt en daarna heb ik er een wit lintje omheen gebonden. Ik heb het witte karton met foamtape op mijn kaartje geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. De tekst van de stempelset Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) van Whimsy stamps is op wit papier gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik kadertjes rondom de woorden getekend en daarna heb ik ze uitgeknipt. Ik heb de losse woorden op het roze design papier geplakt. De kaart is daarna versierd met kristallen hotfix steentjes.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new card that I have made with an image from Whimsy stamps. This time I have made a mini slimline card with the Bashful ballerina (digital stamp) from Whimsy stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image.

I have made a mini slimline card from kraft cardstock. From white cardstock I have die-cut a layer for the card with the Mini slim rounded stitched die set (WSD300a) from Whimsy stamps. The pink dotted patterned paper from the Mix-n-match 2 paperpack (WSDP38) from Whimsy stamps is also cut with the same die set. I have glued the pink paper on top of the white cardstock and then I tied white ribbon around it. I have glued the white cardstock with foamtape on my slimeline card and then I added the image also with foamtape. The sentiment from the set Simple sentiment strips (CWSD354) from Whimsy stamps is stamped on white cardstock. With a black fineliner I have drawn a frame around all the words and then I have fussy cut them all. I have glued the words on the pink patterned paper. The card is decorated with crystal hotfix gems.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een paaskaartje op mijn blog. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Bosom buddies van Sassy Cheryl's (retired). Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies heb ik uit blauw ruitjespapier van een Paperpad van de Lidl een rechthoek gestanst en die heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt. De teksten van de set Bosom buddies van Sassy Cheryl's (retired) heb ik met dezelfde dies uitgestanst en deze heb ik daarna gekleurd met Mustard seed en Scattered straw Distress inkt. Ik heb de teksten en de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. 

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new easter card on my blog. I have made a card with the digital stamp Bosom buddies from Sassy Cheryl's (retired). I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the Black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies I have die-cut a rectangle from blue gingham design paper from a Paperpad from the Lidl and then I glued it on a white card. The sentiments are also from the set Bosom buddies from Sassy Cheryl's (retired) and I have die-cut those with the same dies. I coloured the sentiments with Mustard seed and Scattered straw Distress ink. I glued the sentiments and the image with foamtape on the card.

Sassy Cheryl's - Christmas forest

Goedemorgen, hier ben ik weer met een nieuw kerstkaartje. Deze keer heb ik een oude digitale stempel van Sassy Cheryl's gebruikt. Ik kan hem niet meer vinden op de site. De stempel heet
Merry christmas forest stamp van Sassy Cheryl's. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarna heb ik de bomen versierd met hotfix steentjes in dezelfde kleur roze die ik ook voor de kaart heb gebruikt.

Goodmorning, here I am again with a new christmas card. This time I used an old stamp from Sassy Cheryl's. I cannot find it on their site. The name of the image is Merry christmas forest stamp from Sassy Cheryl's. I colored the image with my pencils and then I decorated it with hotfix gems in the same color pink as I used for the card.

Nieuw huis

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een nieuw huis kaartje zien dat ik heb gemaakt. Ik heb hiervoor een afbeelding van Sassy Cheryl's gebruikt: Gossip birdhouse, maar ik kan de afbeelding helaas niet meer vinden op de site. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met de tekst geprint en daarna heb ik het vogelhuis ingekleurd met mijn potloden. Ik heb een stiklijntje rondom de kaart getekend en de afbeelding daarna op zwart papier geplakt. Daarna heb ik het geheel op een gele kaart geplakt. De hoekjes van de kaart zijn afgerond met de corner chomper. Als laatste heb ik nog zwart-wit bakerstwine rondom de kaart gebonden.

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a new house card that I made. I have used an image from Sassy Cheryl's on it, but unfortunately I can't find it anywhere on their site. I printed the image together with the sentiment (congratulations on getting a new home) and then I colored the image with my pencils. I added  stitchlines around the image and then I adhered it on balck paper. I have adhered the whole image on a yellow card. I rounded the corners of the card with the corner chomper. The last thing I did was wrap some black and white bakers twine around the card.

Happy hauntings

Hallo! Wat een heerlijk weer is het vandaag he! Echt genieten! Ik heb vandaag heerlijk zitten stempelen, kleuren, knippen en plakken. Ik ben bezig geweest met een opdracht voor het Hobbyjournaal, ik weet al wat ik ga doen, maar tussendoor moest ik even een kaartje maken met dit lieve heksje van Sassy Cheryl's. :) Ik zag namelijk een leuke sketch op het Retro sketches blog en toen moest ik gewoon meedoen.
De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Sassy Sally the good little witch van Sassy Cheryls. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de ogen en stippen op de jurk van Sally heb ik gemaakt met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Het designpapier dat ik heb gebruikt is van de Herringbone collectie van Pink Petticoat. Het roze scallop randje heb ik gemaakt met de scalloped stiched lace die van Magnolia. De tekst die ik erboven heb gestempeld komt uit de stempelset Bugs and hisses van There she goes clearstamps. Deze letters zijn een beetje rommelig, zo is de stempelset, maar dat kwam me wel goed uit, want daarna heb ik de stempel ook nog een beetje verschoven tijden het afdrukken, maar dat valt nu haast niet op. ;) Ik heb een zwart lintje rondom het scallop randje gebonden. In de hoek van de kaart heb ik nog een aantal zwarte hotfix steentjes geplakt.

Hello! We have lovely weather here today in the Netherlands. I am really enjoying it. I had a great crafty day with lots of stamping, coloring, cutting and glueing. I had an assignement for a Dutch magazine, and I already know what I am going to make, so I had some time to make this card with the very cute witch from Sassy Cheryl's. I had seen a great sketch on the Retro sketches blog and I just wanted to join the challenge. 
The image I used is Sassy Sally the good little witch from Sassy Cheryl's. I have colored the image with my pencils and I used a black glaze pen for her eyes and the dots on her dress. Then I cut the image out. The designpaper I used is from the Herringbone collection from Pink Petticoat. The pink scalloped border is made with the scalloped stiched lace die from Magnolia. The sentiment is from the Bugs and hisses stampset from There she goes clear stamps. The words are a bit messy, but that is just the way the stamps are, so I was happy that you can't notice that I made a little slip when I was stamping the sentiment. ;) I wrapped a black ribbon around the border. I also added a couple of black hotfix gems in the corner of my card.

DU2DS 40 - Blooms and butterflies & Sassy Cheryl's

Goedemorgen. We zijn alweer toe aan een nieuwe challenge van Dare U 2 Digi Stamp en deze week willen we graag bloemen en vlinders zien op je kaartje. Aangezien ik op mijn kaart ook nog eigengemaakte bloemen heb geplaatst is mijn kaartje ook geschikt voor de challenge van Sassy Cheryl's, want daar willen ze deze week graag eigengemaakte bloemen op je kaartje zien. Ik heb mijn eerste easelcard ooit gemaakt en ik denk dat er wel meer zullen volgen, want wat staat dat leuk zo'n easelcard! De afbeelding die ik op mijn kaart heb gebruikt is van Sasy Cheryl's en Crossed eye butterfly past perfect bij de challenge van DU2DS. Ik heb de afbeelding samen met de tekst geprint en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden. De afbeelding is gemat op donkerblauw papier en ook de easelcard zelf is gemaakt van het donkerblauwe papicolor papier. Ik heb hierop een een veel rose-wit gestreept papier geplakt. De bloem is gemaakt met de floral punches van Nellie Snellen. Ik heb pearl glimmermist op de donkerblauwe bloem gespoten in het midden van de bloem heb ik een rose gestipt knoopje geplakt. Op het onderstuk van de kaart heb ik rose-wit gestipt papier geplakt en daarop heb ik nog een bloem geplakt die kan dienen als stop voor de bovenkant.

Goodmorning! Today we have a new challenge for you on the Dare U 2 Digistamp blog and this week we want to see blooms and butterflies on your card. Because my card has a couple of homemade flowers on it, the card is also perfect for the Sassy Cheryl's challenge, because they want you to make your own flowers. I made my first easelcard ever and they are really fun, so I guess you will be seeing more of these on my blog! The iage I used on my card is from Sassy Cheryl's and crossed eye butterfly was perfect for the DU2DS challenge. I printed the image together with the sentiment and then I coloured the image with my pencils. I added dark blue paper under the image. I used the same darkblue papicolor paper for the base of my card. I added pink-white striped paper. The blue flower was made with the florap punches from Nellie Snellen. I sprayed pearl glimmermist on the flower and added a pink dotted button to the flower. On the bottom of the card I used pink and white dotted paper and again I added a flower.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge - Embossing

Goedemiddag allemaal. Ik had nog een geslaagd kaartje nodig en gelukkig kwam ik deze hele vrolijke meid tegen ergens in blogland. Het is een digitale stempel van Sassy Cheryl's digi stamps en de afbeelding heet frantic graduate. Ik heb er maar meteen een kaartje van gemaakt voor het challenge blog van Sassy Cheryl's en deze week is het de bedoeling om embossing op je kaartje te gebruiken. Ik heb weer een stepcard gemaakt, ze zien er zo leuk uit! Ik heb mijn afbeelding geprint op het whipped cream cardstock van Elzybells en daarna is de afbeelding ingekleurd met potloden. De verdere versiering van de kaart heb ik heel simpel gehouden. Ik heb twee strips strawberry fool cardstock van Elzybells gebruikt en deze zijn geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Hieromheen heb ik twee kleine stukjes lint geknoopt. De tekst geslaagd is gemaakt met het phoebe alfabet van quickutz. De tekst gefeliciteerd heb ik geprint op een klein stukje papier.

Hi everyone. I needed another graduation card and when I was surfing on the internet I came across this really happy girl. It is a digital stamp from Sassy Cheryl's digi stamps and this image is Frantic graduate. I used the image to make a card for the Sassy Cheryl's challenge blog and this week you have to use embossing on your card. I made another stepcard, they are so fun and easy! I have printed the image on whipped cream cardstock from Elzybells and colored it with pencils. I kept my card very simple. I have cut 2 strips from the strawberry fool cardstock from Elzybells and embossed them with the swiss dots embossing folder. I added 2 pieces of ribbon. The sentiment (graduated) was made with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz. The other sentiment was printed on the whipped cream cardstock.
