In the pink - Christmas


Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog en deze keer is de challenge Christmas.

Voor deze challenge heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Owl couple van Lee Hill Illustrations. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de black glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb een vierkant uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 van Crealies uit roze ruitjespapier van het Tiny check brights paperpad van My favorite things. Ik heb wit borduurgaren rondom het vierkant gebonden en daarna heb ik het op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Message me van Clearly besotted stamps binnen in de krans gestempeld. Ik heb een paar sneeuwster stickers op de kaart geplakt en midden in alle sneeuwsterren heb ik een kristallen hotfix steentje geplakt.

 For this challenge I made a card with the image Owl couple from Lee Hill Illustrations. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have die-cut a square with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies from pink design paper from the Tiny check brights paperpad from My favorite things. I adhered it on a white card after I tied white embroidery thread around it. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card and then I stamped a sentiment from the set Message me from Clearly besotted stamps inside the wreath. I adhered a couple of snowflake stickers on the card and placed a crystal hotfix gem inside every snowflake.

In the pink 128 - Spots and/or stripes




Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog en deze keer is de challenge Spots and/or stripes. We willen dus graag streepjes en/of stippen op je kaartje zien.

Deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door A day for daisies. Het design team mocht allemaal een afbeelding uitkiezen om daar een kaartje mee te maken. Ik heb voor de afbeelding Penguin fairy van A day for daisies gekozen. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit roze streepjes design papier van het Spots & stripes pastels paper pad van Sugarpea een rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies. Ik heb dit op zwart karton geplakt en daarna heb ik het op een witte kaart geplakt. Op een strip zwart karton heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Sweet little sentiments van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld met versamark inkt en deze heb ik geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder. Ik heb de strip met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik met de zwarte glaze pen allerlei stipjes rondom de afbeelding getekend.

I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. I have cut a rectangle from pink striped design paper from the Spots & stripes pastels paper pad from Sugarpea with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. I adhered the rectangle on black cardstock and then I adhered them both on a white card. On a strip of black cardstock I stamped a sentiment from the stampset Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I adhered the strip with foamtape on the card. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card and then I used the black glaze pen to draw dots around the image.

In the pink 127 - Ribbons and/or bows


Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Deze keer is de challenge Ribbons and/or bows, ofwel lintjes en/of strikken.
Omdat het oktober is heb ik deze keer een kaartje gemaakt met het Pink ribbon thema, met veel extra aandacht voor borstkanker. Ik heb daarom de afbeelding Pure innocence 077 van Heather Ellis gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgeknipt. Het roze lint heb ik ook nog gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies heb ik een rechthoek uit roze stipjes papier van het Valentines Dots & stripes paperpad van Echo park gestanst. Uit wit karton heb ik nog een extra rechthoek met open scallops gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 72 van Crealies. Ik heb een wit lintje om het roze stipjespapier gebonden en daarna heb ik de rechthoeken op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Tiny type van Clearly besotted stamps onder de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb de kaart daarna versierd met kristallen hotfix steentjes.

Because it is october and it is Breast cancer awereness month, I made a Pink ribbon card with the image Pure innocence 077 from Heather Ellis. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image. I coloured the pink ribbon with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies I die-cut a rectangle from pink dotted design paper from the Valentines Dots & stripes paperpad from Echo park. I tied white ribbon around it. From white cardstock I cut another rectangle with open scallops with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 72 from Crealies. I adhered the rectangles on a white card. I stamped a sentiment from the set Tiny type from Clearly besotted stamps under the image. I decorated the card with crystal hotfix gems.

In the pink challenge 125 - Flower power

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 14 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Goodmorning, this is day 14 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.


Vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Deze maand is de challenge Flower power, we willen dus graag bloemen en veel roze op je kaart zien. Deze maand wordt de challenge gesponsord door All dressed up en de winnaar van de challenge krijgt 2 digitale stempels.

Ik heb deze keer weer eens een kaart gemaakt met een echte bloemenstempel. Ik heb veel leuke stempeltjes van dieren met bloemen in hun handen, maar ik vind het af en toe ook erg leuk om met een echte bloemenstempel te werken. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een kaart te maken met de stempelset Just for you van Clearly besotted stamps. Ik heb de bloemenstempel met versamark inkt op aquarel papier gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens ingekleurd met mijn Zig clean colour real brush markers. Daarna heb ik een tekst uit de stempelset met zwarte inkt naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgestanst met de Die-namics wonky stitched square stax van My favorite things. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op een roze kaart geplakt. Ik heb daarna de kaart nog versierd met kristallen hotfix steentjes. 


 Today a new challenge starts on the In the pink challenge blog. This month our challenge is Flower power, so we want so flowers and lots of pink on your card. This month our challenge is being sponsored by All dressed up and the winner will receive 2 images from All dressed up.
I decided to make a card with a real flower stamp for this challenge. I have so many cute images with sweet little animals holding flowers, but I also love making cards with flower stamps. I made a card with the stamp set Just for you from Clearly besotted stamps. I have stamped the flower with versamark ink on watercolour paper and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have coloured the flower image with my Zig clean colour real brush markers. Then I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set next to the image with black ink. I have die-cut the image with the Die-namics wonky stitched square stax from My favorite things. I have adhered the image with foamtape on a pink card. I decorated the card with a couple of crystal hotfix gems.

In the pink 124 - Anthing goes (5th birthday!)


Goedemorgen, vandaag heb ik 2 blogposts op mijn blog. Vanochtend al een blogpost voor Gerda Steiner designs en nu is mijn challenge kaartje voor het In the pink challenge blog aan de beurt. Deze challenge is een bijzondere challenge, want het In the pink challenge blog viert deze maand een feestje omdat ze 5 jaar bestaan! Woohooo. Ik ben nog niet zo lang een pink lady, maar geniet er nog steeds erg van om me helemaal uit te kunnen leven met roze kaartjes. De challenge voor deze maand is Anything goes, dus alles mag! Lekker makkelijk, dus doe lekker mee. Deze maand wordt de challenge gesponsord door Dies to die for. De winnaar krijgt een voucher voor de shop.

Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een verjaardagskaartje te maken, want dat past natuurlijk goed bij de verjaardag van dit blog. Ik heb gewerkt met een gratis digitale stempel van Di's digi stamps. Een tijdje geleden hebben er 4 afbeeldingen in een tijdschrift gestaan en Cupcake treat van Di's digi stamps is er daar één van. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgeknipt. Uit wit karton heb ik een vierkant gestanst met de Stitched mini scallop square stax van My favorite things. Hierop heb ik met Tumbled glass distress inkt een achtergrondje gemaakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het vierkant geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant gestanst uit roze hartjes design papier van het Tiny hearts brights paperpack van My favorite things en deze heb ik rechts op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een wit lintje om het design papier gebonden. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps op de kaart gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met kristallen hotfix steentjes.

This challenge is a special one, because the In the pink challenge blog is celebrating it's 5th birthday this month! Woohooo. A while ago there was a magazine article with 4 freebies and I used one of those images. This is Cupcake treat from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I die-cut a square with the Stitched mini scallop square stax from My favorite things. I used Tumbled glass distress ink to make a background on it and then I adhered the image with foamtape on the sqaure. I have used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies to die-cut a large square from pink design paper from the Tiny hearts brights paperpack from My favorite things and I attached it on the card. I tied white ribbon around the design paper. I stamped a sentiment from the set Sweet little sentiments from Clearly besotted stamps on the design paper. Then I decorated card with Crystal hotfix gems.

In the pink 123 - Fantasy

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Vanaf deze challenge is de challenge voortaan maandelijks in plaats van iedere 2 weken. Je hebt dus extra lang de kans om mee te doen, dus grijp je kans. De challenge deze keer is Fantasy. Deze maand wordt de challenge gesponsord door Dies to die for. De gelukkige winnaar van deze challenge krijgt een tegoedbon van 15 pond voor deze fantastische winkel.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the In the pink challenge blog. From now on our challenge will be held every 4 weeks instead of every 2 weeks, so you have extra time to enter our challenge. Our challenge this time is Fantasy. Ik heb voor de fantasy challenge een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset Fairy happy van My favorite things. Ik heb diverse afbeeldingen van de set gestempeld en daarna heb ik al deze afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. uit een stukje groen karton heb ik een grasrandje gesneden met de Grassy field die-namic van My favorite things. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik met Blue breeze dye inkt van My favorite things en het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik een tekst op de wolken gestempeld. Nadat ik het grasrandje op de wolken heb geplakt, heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een sierrandje gedoodled. Op een witte kaart heb ik een strip roze hartjespapier van het Tiny hearts brights paperpad van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb de wolkenachtergrond op de kaart geplakt met foamtape. Vervolgens heb ik alle afbeeldingen op de kaart geplakt en ook hiervoor heb ik foamtape gebruikt.


 I have used the stamp set Fairy happy from My favorite things for this fantasy challenge. I stamped a couple of images from this set and then I coloured them with my Polychromos potloden and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut all the images. From green cardstock I cut a grassy border with the Grassy field die-namic from My favorite things. On a piece of white cardstock I made a cloudy background with Blue breeze dye ink from My favorite things and the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things. I have adhered the grass on the cloudy background and then I stamped a sentiment on top of the clouds. I doodles a line with a black pen. On a white card I adhered a strip of pink design paper from the Tiny hearts brights paperpad from My favorite things and then I adhered the cloudy background with foamtape on the card. Then I adhered all the images with foamtape on the card. 


Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart ook nog versierd. Ik heb nog een tekst van de stempelset Fairy happy from My favorite things gestempeld. Ik had nog een bijtje over en die heb ik bij de tekst geplakt.

I also decorated the inside of the card. I stamped another sentiment from the stamp set Fairy happy from My favorite things in the card. I added a little bee that I had left over from all my images.

In the pink 119 - Razzle dazzle


Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Onze challenge deze keer is Razzle dazzle, oftewel we willen graag dat je een beetje of juist heel veel bling op je kaartje gebruikt.
Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Funtime cupcake mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingkleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb het glazuur van het cakeje gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Daarna maakte ik een foutje: Ik heb namelijk glossy accents op het roze gekleurde gedeelte aangebracht, maar dan verandert de kleur van het roze. Op de foto valt het minder op, maar in het echt zie je het wel goed, balen dus. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik 2 teksten van de stempelset Sentimental type van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder. Daarna heb ik nog een aantal kristallen hotfix steentjes op de kaart geplakt.

I made a card with the image Funtime cupcake mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I coloured the glacing with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I applied glossy accents on it. So stupid because I totally forgot that that changes the pink colour. You can't see it really well on my picture, but in real life you can really see how much the colour has changed. :( Someday I will remember this before applying glossy accents. ;) I stamped 2 sentiments from the set Sentimental type from Clearly besotted stamps around the image with versamark ink and then I embossed them with white embossingpowder. I decorated the card with a couple of crystal hotfix gems.

In the pink 118 - Birthdays


Goedemorgen, er begint weer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Onze challenge deze keer is om een verjaardagskaartje te maken. We worden deze keer gesponsord door the Digistamp boutique. De winnaar van de challenge krijgt een voucher voor the Digistamp boutique.

Ik heb een heel eenvoudig kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset The big, the bold and party van Winnie & Walter. Ik heb de tekst op de voorkaart van een wenskaart van Kars gestempeld met Versafine onyx black inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met Clear embossingpoeder van Ranger. Ik heb met stansjes van de Bunch of flowers 2 van Elizabeth craft designs een aantal roze bloemtjes gestanst uit roze design papier van het Watercolor wash brights paper pack van My favorite things. Ik heb deze met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de die Lit-267 van Kreaxions heb ik een aantal takjes gestanst uit groen karton en deze heb ik onder de bloemen geplakt. Ik heb midden op de bloemen kristallen hotfix steentjes geplakt. Op de kaart zelf heb ik ook nog wat hotfix steentjes geplakt.

I stamped the sentiment on a card from Kars with Versafine onyx black ink and then I embossed it with Clear embossingpowder from Ranger. With the sflower dies from the Bunch of flowers 2 from Elizabeth craft designs I have die-cut a couple of flowers from pink design paper from the Watercolor wash brights paper pack from My favorite things. I adhered the flowers with foamtape on the card. With the Lit-267 die from Kreaxions I cut a couple of leaves from green cardstock and I adhered those under the flowers. I decorated the flowers with crystal hotfix gems and I adhered a couple of hotfix gems on the card. 


Ik heb de binnenkant versierd met een bloemetje en wat takjes die ik nog over had.

I decorated the inside of the card with a flower and a couple of leaves that I still had left over.

In the pink challenge 117 - Pearls


Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Deze keer is het de bedoeling om parels op je kaart te gebruiken. Ik heb weer een paaskaartje gemaakt met een afbeelding van Di's digi stamps. De challenge deze keer wordt gesponsord door Di's digi stamps en de winnaar krijgt een tegoed voor Di's digi stamps.

Op mijn kaart heb ik de afbeelding Are you the easter bunny van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op de bloemetjes heb ik kleine witte pareltjes geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 & 52 van Crealies heb ik 2 rechthoeken gesneden uit roze en roze gestreept papier en deze heb ik samen op een witte kaart geplakt. Nadat ik de afbeelding op de kaart heb ik geplakt hier ik hieronder een tekst van de stempelset Easter bunny chick van Stamping bella gestempeld. Uit roze design paper en groen karton heb ik een aantal bloemetjes en takjes geponst en deze rechts boven in de hoek van de kaart geplakt. Ook deze bloemetjes heb ik versierd met witte pareltjes.

The challenge this time is being sponsored by Di's digi stamps and the winner gets a voucher for Di's digi stamps. 
On my card I used the image Are you the easter bunny from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. I adhered little pearls on the flowers. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 & 52 from Crealies I have cut 2 rectangles and I adhered those on a white card. After I adhered the image on my card I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Easter bunny chick from Stamping bella under the image. I punched a couple of flowers from the pink design paper and green cardstock and adhered those in the right upper corner. I decorated the flowers with little white pearls.

In the pink - Spring flowers

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 30 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin. Alweer de laatste dag van de 30-day colouring challenge. Het was weer genieten en ook al is de challenge afgelopen: Ik blijf lekker kleuren! ;)

Goodmorning, this is day 30 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin. It is already the last day from the 30-day colouring challenge. It has been really fun and although the challenge is over now: I will keep colouring. ;)


Op deze donderdag begint er alweer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag lentebloemen op je kaartje zien. Ik heb niet zoveel verstand van bloemen en planten en weet dus niet of dit wel een echte lente bloem is. ;)
De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Hey ho, hey mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en deze daarna uitgeknipt. Het gele hartje van de bloem is ook nog gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Uit roze stipjespapier uit het Hearts & stripes valentines paperpad van Echo park heb ik een rechthoek gesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies. Ik heb hier een wit lintje omheen gebonden en het daarna op een witte kaart geplakt. De tekst komt uit de set Geniet (KJ1701) van Marianne design. De set is helaas uitverkocht waar ik hem heb gekocht en ik kan dus geen linkje plaatsen. 


On this Thursday a new challenge starts on the In the pink challenge blog and this time we want to see Spring flowers. I don't know much about plants and flowers, so I am not sure if this is a real Spring flower. ;)
The image that I used is Hey ho, hey mice from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. I coloured the yellow heart of the flower with a Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. From pink dotted paper from the Hearts & stripes valentines paperpad from Echo park I cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies. I tied a white ribbon around it and then I adhered it on a white card. The sentiment (Flowers for you) is from the stamp set Geniet (KJ1701) from Marianne design. The set is sold out at the moment, so I don't have a link.

In the pink 115 - Photo inspiration

Goodmorning, this is day 16 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.


Vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. We hebben deze keer een inspiratie foto en die moet je gebruiken om je kaartje te maken. Op de foto staan pins met kant erom en die deden mij aan naaien denken en dat was de inspiratie voor dit kaartje.

Op mijn kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Stitched for you van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgesneden met de Cross-stitch circle stax die-namics van My favorite things. Op een witte kaart heb ik roze stipjes papier van het Lucky prints paperpack van My favorite things geplakt. Ik heb rondom het design papier een stiklijntje getekend met een zwarte fineliner. Uit wit karton heb ik een randje gestanst met de Tilda lace die van Magnolia. Ik heb hier een wit organza lintje omheen gebonden en daarna heb ik de rand op de kaart geplakt. Op het design papier heb ik de tekst van de set Many mini messages van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld. Ik heb de kaart versierd met witte bloemen die ik heb geponst met de floral punches van Nellie Snellen. Uit groen karton heb ik een aantal takjes geponst en deze heb ik bij de bloemetjes geplakt.


Today a new challenge has started on the In the pink challenge blog. This time we have an inspiration photo and you have to use that when you make your card. On the photo you can see a couple of pins with lace and then I started thinking about a sewing theme for my card.

 On my card I used the image Stitched for you from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I cut the image out with the Cross-stitch circle stax die-namics from My favorite things. On a white card I adhered pink dotted design paper from the Lucky prints paperpack from My favorite things. I added faux stitching around it with a black pen. From white cardstock I cut a border with the Tilda lace die from Magnolia. I tied white ribbon around it and then I adhered it on my card. On the design paper I stamped a sentiment from the set Many mini messages from Clearly besotted stamps. I decorated the card with white flowers that I punched with the floral punches from Nellie Snellen. From green cardstock I punced a couple of leaves and I adhered those under the flowers.

In the pink - Special lady

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 2 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Goodmorning, this is day 2 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin..


Vandaag begint er een nieuwe challenge op het In the pink challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag een (roze) kaart voor een speciale vrouw zien. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt voor mijn moeder, gewoon om even te laten weten dat ik van haar houd. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding I love ewe van Just Me digital stamps. Ik heb het schattige schaapje ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik roze hartjes papier van het Hearts & stripes paperpad van My favorite things geplakt nadat ik daar eerst een wit lintje omheen heb gebonden. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb naast de tekst nog 2 zwarte hotfix hartjes geplakt.

I made a card with the image I love ewe from Just Me digital stamps. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. On a white card I adhered pink heart paper from the Hearts & stripes paperpad from My favorite things after I tied a white ribbon around it. I adhered the image with foamtape on the card. Then I added 2 black hotfix hearts next to the sentiment.
