As you like it challenge 300 - Pearls or gems

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het  As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lili of the valley. We willen graag weten of je liever met parels of "juwelen" op je kaartje gebruikt. Het ligt er voor mij heel erg aan wat voor soort kaart ik maak. Is het een elegantere kaart, zou ik eerder voor parels kiezen en bij een schattige kaart kies ik eerder voor juweeltjes. 

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de set Bear hug tags clear stamps (retired) van Lili of the valley. Ik heb 3 tags gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Daarna heb ik de beertjes uitgeknipt. Ik heb de 3 tags daarna nog een keer op roze gestreept papier van het Dots & stripes pastels paper van Sunny studio stamps gestempeld. Ik heb de tags daarna uitgeknipt en met een tang heb ik een gaatje in de tags gemaakt. Ik heb de beertjes met foamtape op de tags van design papier geplakt. Op de tags heb ik een strikje van zwart borduurgaren geplakt. Op een grote witte kaart heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een lijntje langs de randen van de kaart getekend. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions (Out of business) op de kaart gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de Star cloud van Cats on appletrees meerdere keren op de kaart gestempeld. Ik heb de tags daarna met foamtape op de kaart gestempeld. Met de Snijmallen A6 Snelle kaart (CDSN-0279) van Carlijn design heb ik het kleine bannertje uit het roze papier van het Dots & stripes pastels paper van Sunny studio stamps gestanst. Het hartje uit dezelfde stansset heb ik uit zwart karton gestanst en die heb ik op de banner geplakt.

We would like to know whether you prefer using pearls or "gems" on your card. For me, it really depends on what kind of card I am making. If it’s an elegant card, I would more likely choose pearls, but for a cute card, I would go for gems.

I have made a card using the Bear hug tags clear stamps (retired) by Lili of the valley. I stamped 3 tags and then coloured them with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen by Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I then cut out the bears. I stamped the 3 tags again onto pink striped paper from the Dots & stripes pastels paper by Sunny studio stamps. I cut them out and used a hole punch to make holes in the tags. I adhered the bears to the tags made from design paper using foam tape. I added a bow made from black embroidery thread to the tags. On a large white card, I drew a line along the edges of the card with a black fineliner. I stamped a sentiment from the Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen stamp set by Craft Emotions (Out of Business) on the card. Then, I stamped the Star cloud by Cats on appletrees multiple times on the card. I then adhered the tags to the card with foam tape. Using the Snijmallen A6 Snelle kaart (CDSN-0279) by Carlijn design, I die-cut the small banner from the pink paper in the Dots & stripes pastels paper by Sunny studio stamps. I die-cut the little heart from the same die set from black cardstock and attached it to the banner.

Stamping Bella - You say witch.....

Hallo, vandaag post ik een halloween kaart die ik heb gemaakt met de stempelset Oddball witch van Stamping Bella. Ik heb de afbeelding met Versafine clair nocturne inkt gestempeld op Florence watercolour paper smooth 200 gram van Vaessen creative. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de navullingen van mijn Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 van Crealies. Ik heb de randen van de afbeelding met Black soot Distress inkt en een blending brush. Ik heb een ster van de stempelset Spooktacular van Reverse confetti (no longer in business) op diverse plekken rondom de afbeelding gestempeld met Hickory smoke Distress inkt. Met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees heb ik spatjes rondom de afbeelding gestempeld met Wilted violet Distress inkt. Met een Spiderweb die van Action heb ik een aantal spinnenwebben uit zwart karton gestanst en deze heb ik op de voorkant van een paarse kaart geplakt. Ik heb daarna het rechthoek met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de tekst van de stempelset Oddball witch van Stamping Bella gestempeld en daarna heb ik met een zwarte fineliner kadertjes rondom de woorden getekend en daarna heb ik ze allemaal uitgeknipt. Met een dauber heb ik met Wilted violet Distress inkt alle woorden een paars randje gegeven. Ik heb de woorden met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. 

Hello, today I am posting a halloween card that I have made with the stamp set Oddball witch from Stamping Bella. I have stamped the image with Versafine clair nocturne ink on Florence watercolour paper smooth 200 gram from Vaessen creative and then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured the image with my refills from my Distress inks. I have die cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 from Crealies. I have made the edges of the rectangle black with Black soot Distress ink and an ink blending brush. I have stamped the star from the set Spooktacular from Reverse confetti (no longer in business) with Hickory smoke Distress ink a couple of times around the image. I also added little dots around the image with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees and Wilted violet Distress ink. With a Spiderweb die from Action I have die cut a spider web a couple of times from black cardstock and I glued those on the front of a purple card. Then I glued the rectangle with foamtape on the card. I have stamped the sentiment from the set Oddball witch from Stamping Bella and with a black fineliner I have drawn a frame around all the separate words. I have fussy cut all the words and with a dauber I made the edges of all the words purple with Wilted violet Distress ink. I have glued words with foamtape on the card.

Carlijn design - Good luck

Hallo, ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met een nieuwe stansset van Carlijn design. Ik heb namelijk met de set Snijmallen Retro smileys van Carlijn design 4 leuke bloemen uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb de bloemen gekleurd met blendingkwasten en Picked raspberry, Spiced marmalade, Carved pumpkin, Squeezed lemonade, Wild honey, Twisted citron, Mowed lawn en Peacock feathers Distress inkt. 

Ik heb een slimline kaart gemaakt van wit karton. Ik heb nog een extra rechthoek uit het witte karton gesneden als laag boven op de kaart. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het witte karton getekend. Daarna heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees vlekjes op de achtergrond gestempeld. Ik heb op één van de bloemen een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Miscellaneous (retired) van Craft emotions gestempeld. Ik heb de bloemen met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kaart en de bloemen versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes. 

Hello, I have made a card with a new die set from Carlijn design. I have cut 4 cute flowers with the set Snijmallen Retro smileys from Carlijn design from white cardstock. I have coloured the flowers with blending brushes and Picked raspberry, Spiced marmalade, Carved pumpkin, Squeezed lemonade, Wild honey, Twisted citron, Mowed lawn and Peacock feathers Distress ink. 

I have made a slimline card from white cardstock. I also cut another extra layer from the white cardstock to add on the card. I have drawn lines around the edges of the white layer with a black fineliner. I have stamped spots on the layer with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees with black ink. On one of the flowers I have stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Handletter - Miscellaneous (retired) from Craft emotions. I have glued the flowers with foamtape on the card. The card is decorated with black hotfix gems.

Hallo, vandaag post ik een kaartje gemaakt met een digitale stempel van Stampfairy Helaas bestaat Stampfairy al 10 jaar niet meer, maar ik heb mijn digitale stempels nog steeds en daar heb ik weer eens een kaartje mee gemaakt. Ik heb de digitale stempel Barry good luck van Stampfairy (no longer in business) geprint en daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en voor extra details heb ik een witte gelpen gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 160 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst en hierop heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees gestempeld. Ik heb de beer daarna met foamtape op het vierkant geplakt. Op een witte kaart heb ik groen gestreept papier van het Tiny prints paperpad van Avec geplakt en daarna heb ik het vierkant met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de Succes dies (retired) van Joy crafts heb ik het woord succes uit zwart karton gestanst en dat heb ik op de kaart naast de afbeelding geplakt.

I have printed the image Barry good luck from Stampfairy (no longer in business) and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and for some extra details I have used a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 160 from Crealies I have cut a square from white cardstock. I stamped on it with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees. I glued the bear with foamtape on the square. On a white card I have glued green striped paper from the Tiny prints paperpad from Avec and then I glued the square with foamtape on the card. I have cut the word succes from black cardstock with the Succes dies (retired) from Joy crafts and glued it on the card.

Hallo, de afgelopen jaren heb ik veel (digitale) stempels gekocht en er zijn er veel die ik nog nooit heb gebruikt. De hoogste tijd om dat wel te gaan doen! Daarom plaats ik vandaag een kaartje met "oude" digitale stempel, namelijk Kick some grass from The cats pajama's. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. 

Op een witte kaart heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things met Peacock feathers Distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt op de bovenste helft van de kaart. Daarna heb ik met de Stamp star cloud van Cats on appletrees op de achtergrond gestempeld met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb onder de afbeelding een tekst van de stempelset Gift card greetings van My favorite things gestempeld.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever kaarten maakt met zachte kleuren of juist felle opvallende kleuren. Ik hou van kaarten in zachte kleuren maar op de een of andere manier kom ik zelf toch altijd op felle opvallende kleuren uit en daarom heb ik vandaag ook felle kleuren gebruikt. 

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met één van de schattige afbeeldingen van de stempelset Flower friends van Clearly besotted. Ik heb de afbeelding gestempeld op Florence watercolour paper smooth van Vaessen creative met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Karin brushmarkers pro en ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt. Met de Old rectangle slimline card (D210421) van Gummiapan heb ik een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst. Hier heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees op gestempeld. Ik heb het rechthoek op zwart karton geplakt en daarna heb ik ze samen op een roze slimline kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit roze en zwart karton heb ik de tekst gestanst met de Many sentiments Coverplate dies from The ton.

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we would love to hear if your prefer making cards with soft colours of bold colours. I really love cards in soft colours, but most of the times when I make a card it ends up with really bold colours. So for today I also used bold colours. 

I have made a card with one of the adorable images from the stamp set Flower friends from Clearly besotted. I have stamped the image on Florence watercolour paper smooth from Vaessen creative with Versafine clair nocturne ink and then I embossed the image with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured the image with my Karin brushmarkers pro and then I have fussy cut the image. With the Old rectangle slimline card (D210421) from Gummiapan I have cut a rectangle panel from white cardstock and with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees I have stamped on it. I glued the panel on black cardstock and then I glued them together on a pink card. I added the image with foamtape on the card. I have cut the sentiment from pink and black cardstock with the Many sentiments Coverplate dies from The ton.

Di's digi designs challenge - Scraps and stash

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag een kaartje zien waarop je restjes papier verwerkt die je nog hebt liggen. Ik gebruik al een tijd heel graag het design papier van Sunny studio stamps en bewaar zowat elk stukje dat ik van mijn velletjes overhoud nadat ik er een kaart mee heb gemaakt. Deze keer had ik echt geluk, want ik vond nog een vrij groot stuk van het gele papier en dat was perfect voor mijn kaartje van vandaag.

Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Daisy mouse van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Black glaze pen van Sakura en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit mijn restje geel papier van het Classic gingham papers van Sunny studio stamps een rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 van Crealies. Ik heb het papier schuin op een witte kaart geplakt. Met de Confetti stempel van Cats on appletrees heb ik rondom en op het gele papier stipjes op mijn kaart gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het design papier geplakt. Ik heb wit borduurgaren rondom de voorkant van mijn kaart gebonden en midden op het strikje heb ik een gele enamel dot geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) van Craft emotions onder op het design papier naast mijn muisje gestempeld. 

Hello, today a new challenge starts on the Di's digi designs challenge blog and this time we would love you to use your scraps and stash on your card. I have been a big fan of the patterned paper from Sunny studio stamps for a while and I almost never throw scraps of that paper away after I have made a card with it. For this challenge I was really lucky because I still had a big piece of the yellow paper left and it has the perfect size for my card today.

I have made a card with the digital stamp Daisy mouse from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut a rectangle from the yellow paper from the Classic gingham papers from Sunny studio stamps with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 118 from Crealies and then I glued it on a white card. I have stamped around and on the yellow patterned paper with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees and then I glued the image with foamtape on the card. I tied white embroidery thread around the card and on the bow I have glued a yellow enamel dot. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) from Craft emotions on the patterned paper.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt onze challenge gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we weten of je liever kaarten met bloemen of juist schattige kaarten maakt. Ik vind beide stijlen erg leuk. Met bloemen kun je prachtige stijlvolle kaarten maken en cute kaarten zijn ook erg leuk om te doen! Ik bepaal vaak de stijl die ik gebruik als ik weet voor wie een kaart is. Mijn neefjes maak ik echt niet blij met een bloemenkaart en anderen zullen cute kaarten niet zo leuk vinden. Ik vind trouwens diertjes met (grote) bloemen helemaal leuk om mee te werken.

Voor de challenge van vandaag heb ik een slimline kaart gemaakt. De geschulpte laag is met de Slimline frames (CR1537) van Marianne Design uit zwart karton gestanst. Daarna heb ik een laag uit Florence watercolour paper smooth (300 gram) van Vaessen creative gesneden. Hierop heb ik met het Paint strokes stencil van My favorite things en Picked raspberry, Spiced marmalade, Carved pumpkin, Squeezed lemonade, Mowed lawn, Peacock feathers en Mermaid lagoon Distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt. Daarna heb ik met de Sketch stencils Floral 2 van Karin Joan een paar bloemen over de achtergrond getekend met mijn zwarte fineliners. Ik heb verschillende diktes gebruikt om zo mooi wat details toe te kunnen voegen. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) van Craft emotions over de bloem gestempeld. Ik heb de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees op diverse plekken op mijn kaart gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Als laatste heb ik nog een lijntje langs de randen van het witte papier getekend met mijn fineliner.

This time we would love the know if you prefer making floral cards or cute cards. I love both styles. With flowers you can make very elegant cards, but cute cards are also very much fun to make. If I know who is going to receive my card, I most of the times decide which style I am going to use. My little nephews will not enjoy receiving a floral card and other people will not like cute cards. The most fun is making cards with cute animals with (big) flowers. 

For today's challenge I have made a slimline card. The scalloped layer is cut with the Slimline frames (CR1537) from Marianne Design from black cardstock. The card and top layer is cut from Florence watercolour paper smooth (300 gram) from Vaessen creative. On the top layer I have made a background with the Paint strokes stencil from My favorite things and Picked raspberry, Spiced marmalade, Carved pumpkin, Squeezed lemonade, Mowed lawn, Peacock feathers and Mermaid lagoon Distress ink. Then I have drawn a flower on top of the background with the Sketch stencils Floral 2 from Karin Joan with black fineliners. I used several sizes to add extra details. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Handletter - Huwelijk (retired) from Craft emotions on the card.  I added extra details on the card with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees, that I have stamped with black ink. I added lines around the edges of the white cardstock with a black fineliner.

As you like it challenge 265 - My favourite (fantasy) animal

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Lawn fawn. Voor de challenge willen we deze keer graag je favoriete echte of fantasie dier zien. Mijn lievelingsdier is een muis. Mijn moeder noemde me altijd muis en daarna is de liefde ontstaan. Ze zien er gewoon schattig uit met die grote oren. Op mijn kaartje heb ik mijn lievelingsdier gecombineerd met het lievelingsdier van mijn neefje Niek. Die is helemaal gek op krokodillen en alligators, dus toen ik deze afbeelding zag, moest ik er gewoon een kaartje mee maken.

Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 142 van Crealies 2 cirkels uit roze papier gestanst en nadat ik de bovenkanten aan elkaar heb geplakt, heb ik er zo een kaart van gemaakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies heb ik een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst waar ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) van My favorite things en Peacock feathers Distress inkt een wolken achtergrond op heb gemaakt. Ik heb de cirkel op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik nog een keer een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies en daarna heb ik met de Ocean view (LR0664) van Marianne design hiervan golven gemaakt. Ik heb de golven gekleurd met Salvaged patina, Peacock feathers en Mermaid lagoon Distress inkt. Daarna heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees op de golven gestempeld met Versafine clair Warm breeze. Met Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof white heb ik kleine verfspatjes aangebracht. Als laatste heb ik met een witte gelpen kleine accentjes op de golven getekend. Ik heb de golven en de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set Beach day van Neat and Tangled (no longer in business) op roze karton gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een kader rondom de woorden getekend en daarna heb ik ze uitgeknipt en met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

We would love to know what your favourite real or fantasy animal is. My favourite animal is a mouse. My mother used to call me mouse when I was little and that is where the love for this cute animal started. I really love their look with the big ears. On this card I have combined my favourite animal with my nephew Niek's favourite animal. He really loves crocodiles and alligators. So when I saw this cute image of both of them I had to use it. 

This image is from the set Surf's up digital stamp from Jane's doodles. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut 2 large circle from pink cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 142 from Crealies. I glued the upper part of the circles together to make a card out of it. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies I have cut a circle from white cardstock. I used the Mini cloud edges stencil (retired) from My favorite things and Peacock feathers Distress ink to make a cloudy background on it. I have glued the circle on the card. I have cut another circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies and I turned it into waves with the Ocean view (LR0664) from Marianne design. I have coloured the waves with Salvaged patina, Peacock feathers and Mermaid lagoon Distress ink. Then I stamped on the waves with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees with Versafine clair Warm breeze ink. I added tiny paint splatters on the waves with Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof white and I used a white gelpen to add some extra details on the waves. I have glued the waves together with the image with foamtape on the card. I stamped a sentiment from the set Beach day from Neat and Tangled (no longer in business) on pink cardstock. With a black fineliner I have drawn a frame around the words and then I have fussy cut the words and glued them on the card with foamtape.

Isabel Cristina stamps - Hugs

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt met een lieve afbeelding van de Floral friends set van Isabel Cristina stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Pablo coloured potloden van Caran d'ache, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt.

Op een witte kaart heb ik een streep oranje karton geplakt. Daarna heb ik de onderste hoeken van de kaart afgerond. Daarna heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees op een stukje wit karton gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van het witte karton getekend. Ik heb het witte karton met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik ook de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Met de Alphabet handlettering capital letters (115633/0426) en Lowercase letters (115633/0427) van Craft emotions heb ik het woord hugs uit oranje karton gestanst en daarna heb ik het woord naast de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card that I have made with a sweet image from the Floral friends set from Isabel Cristina stamps. I have coloured the image with my Pablo coloured pencils from Caran d'ache, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I have fussy cut the image.

On a white card I have glued a strip of orange cardstock. Then I rounded the bottom corners of the card with a punch. On a little sheet of white cardstock I have stamped with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees. With a black fineliner I have drawn lines around the edges of the white cardstock and then I have glued it with foamtape on the card and then I also added the image with foamtape on the card. With the Alphabet handlettering capital letters (115633/0426) and Lowercase letters (115633/0427) from Craft emotions I have cut the word Hugs from orange cardstock and then I glued it on the card.

Alexis Cantu - Beterschap

Hallo, vandaag post ik een kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt met een tekening die ik heb gemaakt na het volgen van een tutorial van Alexis Cantu. De tutorial van de vlinder is momenteel niet online te vinden. Ik heb de tekening van de vlinder gemaakt op 1264 Watercolour paper van Fabriano. De tekening is niet heel groot, want ik had hem gemaakt voor een inchie challenge. Ik heb mijn vlinder gekleurd met Van Gogh aquarelverf van Royal Talens en daarna heb ik de vlinder uitgeknipt.

Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 van Crealies heb ik een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst. Hierop heb ik met het Mask art grunge stencil van Dutch doobadoo en Spiced marmelade, Carved pumpkin en Crackling campfire Distress inkt een cirkel gemaakt. Ik heb de vlinder op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions op de kaart gestempeld. Met de Confetti stempel van Cats on appletrees heb ik kleine verfspatjes op de kaart gestempeld.

Hello, today I am posting a card that I have made with a drawing that I have made after I followed a tutorial from Alexis Cantu. The butterfly tutorial isn't available on the internet at the moment. I have made my drawing on 1264 Watercolour paper from Fabriano. It is just a little drawing, because I have made it for an inchie challenge. I have coloured the butterfly with the Van Gogh watercolours from Royal Talens and then I have fussy cut the image. 

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 128 from Crealies I have cut a square from white cardstock. On the square I have made an orange circle with the Mask art grunge stencil from Dutch doobadoo and Spiced marmelade, Carved pumpkin and Crackling campfire Distress ink. I have glued the butterfly on the circle. I stamped a sentiment (get well) from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions on the card. With the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees I have stamped some paint splatters on the card.

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer wordt de challenge gesponsord door Last minute manda. Voor onze challenge willen we graag weten of je liever kaarten maakt voor mannen of vrouwen. De meeste projecten die ik maak zijn meer vrouwelijk. Ik hou gewoon van roze en paars (hoewel je dat natuurlijk ook voor mannen/jongens kunt gebruiken). Ik gebruik graag een strikje op mijn project en dat is ook meer vrouwelijk. Ik heb daarom ook deze keer een verjaardagscadeautje voor een vrouw gemaakt. 

Ik heb een kleine cadeauverpakking gemaakt voor een verjaardag. Binnen in het kaartje heb ik een vakje gemaakt voor een cadeaukaart en een klein reepje chocolade. Ik heb als versiering één van de schattige konijntjes van de set Floral friends van Isabel Cristina stamps gebruikt. Na het printen van de afbeelding heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Pablo coloured pencils van Caran d'ache. Deze keer heb ik het blenden met de potloden zelf gedaan en dus niet met reukloze terpentine. Na het inkleuren heb ik de oogjes van het konijntje gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen accenten op de afbeelding aangebracht. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Distressed tags (CO727712) van Couture creations heb ik een tag uit wit karton gestanst. Op de tag heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees gestempeld. Onder op de tag heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de tag geplakt. Mijn kaartje is gemaakt van paars karton. Ik heb de tag met foamtape op het kaartje geplakt. Om het kaartje te sluiten heb ik wit lint gebruikt.

For our challenge we want to know if you prefer making cards for men or women. Most of the projects that I make are more feminine. I really love using the colour pink (although you can use that colour also on projects for boys/men). I also love using bows and flowers on my projects. They are more feminine.

This time I have made a little birthday project for a woman. It is a little card with a pocket inside that holds a giftcard and some chocolate. I have decorated the outside of the card with one of the cute images from the set Floral friends from Isabel Cristina stamps. After I printed the bunny I coloured it with the Pablo coloured pencils from Caran d'ache. I did the blending with the pencils and didn't use a blending solution. I have fussy cut the image. With the Distressed tags (CO727712) from Couture creations I have cut a tag from white cardstock. On bottom of the tag I have stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions. Then I also stamped with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees on the tag. I have glued the image with foamtape on the tag. My card is made from purple cardstock and I added the tag on it with foamtape. The card closes with a bow from white ribbon.

Binnen in het kaartje heb ik een vakje gemaakt voor de cadeaukaart en de chocolade van wit karton. De strip wit karton steek je in het vakje en zo vallen de cadeautjes er niet zo snel uit. Op het vakje heb ik een tekst van de set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen van Craft emotions gestempeld. Ook hier heb ik met de Confetti stamp van Cats on appletrees gestempeld. De twee bloemetjes komen ook uit de set Floral friends van Isabel Cristina stamps. Na het inkleuren heb ik ze uitgeknipt en op het vakje geplakt. 

Inside the card I have made a little pocket for the gift card and the chocolate from white cardstock. You can put the strip of white cardstock inside the pocket so the giftcard and chocolate will not fall out of the pocket. On the pocket I have stamped a sentiment from the set Bulletjournal - Tekst diversen from Craft emotions. I also stamped on it with the Confetti stamp from Cats on appletrees. The two flowers are also from the set Floral friends from Isabel Cristina stamps. After I coloured them, I fussy cut them out and glued them on the pocket.
