As you like it challenge 313 - Cats or dogs?

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever een kat of een hond op je kaarten gebruikt. Hoewel ik in het echt meer gek van honden ben, vind ik het op kaarten juist leuk om met afbeeldingen van katten te werken. Ik vind ze er leuker uit zien en hun ondeugende karakter is vaak te zien. Hoewel dat niet geldt voor de afbeelding die ik vandaag heb gebruikt. 

Ik heb op mijn kaart één van de afbeeldingen van de digitale stempelset Flower cats (retired) van Isabel Cristina stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt.

Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies een rechthoek uit paars karton gestanst en daarna heb ik hier een opening uit gestanst met de Ovalen 2 van Carlijn design. Ik heb met Versamark inkt het woord proficiat van de stempelset Proficiat stempel & stansset van Els Brigé design op zwart karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik de tekst geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb het woord daarna uitgestanst met de bijpassende stansset. Ik heb het paarse paneel met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de tekst in het ovalen gat geplakt. Daarna heb ik de kaart versierd met witte hotfix steentjes. 

Hello! Today a new challenge is starting again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we’re being sponsored by Dies to die for. This time, we’d love to know whether you prefer to use a cat or a dog on your cards. Although I’m more of a dog lover in real life, I actually enjoy using cat images more when it comes to cardmaking. I think they look cuter and their mischievous personality often shines through in the images — although that’s not really the case with the image I’ve used today.

On my card, I used one of the images from the digital stamp set Flower cats (retired) by Isabel Cristina stamps. I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils, a Black glaze pen by Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen. I then fussy-cut the image.

I used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 by Crealies to die-cut a rectangle from purple cardstock, and then used Ovalen 2 by Carlijn design to cut an oval aperture from the centre. I stamped the word Proficiat (congratulations) from the Proficiat stempel & stansset by Els Brigé design onto black cardstock using Versamark ink, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then die-cut the word using the matching die.

I attached the purple panel to a white card base using foam tape, then added the image on top, also using foam tape. I placed the sentiment inside the oval aperture. To finish off the card, I decorated it with white hotfix gems.

A birthday card for my brother

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik het verjaardagskaartje dat ik heb gemaakt voor de verjaardag van mijn broer. 

Goodmorning, today I am posting the birthday card that I have made for my brother. 

Ik heb van rood karton een kaart gesneden en daarop het zwart-wit papier van het Dessinpapier pak van de Hema geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het design papier getekend. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 van Crealies heb ik een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Uit zwart karton heb ik een grotere cirkel gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies. De grootste cirkel is met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 92 van Crealies uit rood karton gestanst en daarna heb ik alle cirkels op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik de cirkels op de kaart geplakt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik 2 teksten van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt. Daarna heb ik deze teksten uitgestanst met de 't is je verjaardag coördinerende stansset van Els Brigé design en daarna heb ik deze teksten met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Uit rood karton heb ik met het Planner essential 27 Retro number trio (1745) van Elizabeth craft designs het getal 40 gestanst. Ik heb de getallen 3 keer uitgestanst en die heb ik op elkaar geplakt en daarna heb ik deze getallen op de kaart geplakt. De sterretjes heb ik uit rood karton gestanst met dies uit dezelfde die set en die heb ik op mijn kaart geplakt.

I have cut a card from red cardstock and glued black and white patterned paper from the Dessinpapier pack from Hema on it. With a black fineliner I have doodles lines on the patterned paper. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 21 from Crealies I have cut a circle from white cardstock. From black cardstock I have cut a bigger circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies. The largest circle is cut from red cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 92 from Crealies. I glued all circles on top of each other and then I glued them on the card. I have stamped 2 sentiments (hooray and congratulations) from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé design on white cardstock with Versafine clair nocturne ink. I have used the 't is je verjaardag coördinerende stansset from Els Brigé design to die-cut the sentiments and then I glued them on the card with foamtape. I have die-cut the number 40 from red cardstock with the Planner essential 27 Retro number trio (1745) from Elizabeth craft designs. I have cut each number 3 times and glued them on top of each other and then I placed them on the card. The little red stars are made with dies from the same die-set. 

Bij het kaartje heb ik ook een doosje gemaakt met daarin het cadeautje. Ik heb het doosje uit rood karton gesneden met de Silhouette cameo. Ik heb hiervoor het bestand Money roll box with mats (122261) van Lori Whitlock gebruikt. Ik het het doosje versierd met design papier van het Dessinpapier pak van de Hema. Ik heb de tekst gefeliciteerd van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design op rood karton gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze uitgestanst met de 't is je verjaardag coördinerende stansset van Els Brigé design. Ik heb de tekst met foamtape op het doosje geplakt. Ik heb het geld met washitape aan elkaar geplakt en ik heb er nog een extra kaartje aan geplakt. Daarna heb ik uit rood karton met een stans van de Craft emotions die - Planner essentials 1 van Craft emotions een tabje gestanst en dat heb ik aan het briefje geplakt. Op het tabje heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Stempels interacties van Carlijn design gestempeld.

Together with the card I have made a box with the present. I have cut the from red cardstock with the Silhouette cameo.I have used the file Money roll box with mats (122261) from Lori Whitlock. The box is decorated with patterned paper from the Dessinpapier pack from Hema. I have stamped the sentiment (congratulations) from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé design on red cardstock. I have die-cut the word with the 't is je verjaardag coördinerende stansset from Els Brigé design and glued it on the box with foamtape. I have glued the money together with washitape and added a little card. From red cardstock I have die-cut a tab for on the card with the Craft emotions die - Planner essentials 1 from Craft emotions and glued it on the card. On the tab I stamped a sentiment (pull here) from the set Stempels interacties from Carlijn design.

Di's digi designs challenge - Load on the flowers

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Di's digi designs challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag bloemen op je creatie zien. Ik heb voor deze week een verjaardagskaartje gemaakt en ik heb daarvoor de digitale stempel Cute pals van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de ballon, het hoedje van de hoed en de taart gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen en daarna heb ik Glossy accents aangebracht. Toen dit droog was, heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies heb ik een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met de Snowflakes embossing folder van Cuttlebug. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies heb ik nog een geschulpte cirkel uit kraft karton gestanst. Op een kraft kaart heb ik een stukje regenboog design papier van het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn geplakt en daarna heb ik de cirkels met de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de tekst gefeliciteerd van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design gestempeld op wit karton en daarna heb ik deze uitgestanst met de coördinerende stansen. Ik heb de tekst op een stuk kraft karton geplakt en daarna heb ik deze op de kaart geplakt. Met een kleine bloemenstans van de Flowers 2 dies van Paper smooches heb ik een aantal bloemen uit een stuk regenboog design papier van het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn gestanst en daarna heb ik deze met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt. Ik heb alle bloemetjes versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

I have fussy cut the image, after the glossy accents had dried. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies I have die-cut a circle from white cardstock and then I embossed it with the Snowflakes embossing folder from Cuttlebug. I have die-cut a scalloped circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies from kraft cardstock. On a kraft card I glued a piece of rainbow patterned paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn and then I glued the circles and the image on the card. I have stamped the sentiment (congratulations) from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé design on white cardstock and then I have die-cut the sentiment with the matching dies. I glued the sentiment on kraft cardstock and then I added it on the card. With a little flower die from the Flowers 2 dies from Paper smooches I have die-cut a couple of flowers from a piece of rainbow patterned paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn and I glued those on the card. I have decorated the flowers with black hotfix gems.

Gerda Steiner designs & Kleuren met potloden

Goedemorgen, vandaag begin ik met een leuk nieuwtje. Ik zit sinds vandaag in het design team van het Kleuren met potloden blog! Vandaag is het mijn beurt om mijn eerste kaartje op hun blog te plaatsen. Dit team past natuurlijk perfect bij mij, omdat ik bijna altijd met potloden kleur. :)

Goodmorning, today I have some fun news. I have become the newest member from the Kleuren met potloden (Colouring with pencils) blog. Today I am posting my first card on their blog. This team is perfect for me, because most of the times my colouing is done with pencils.

Vandaag post ik weer een kaartje op het blog van Gerda Steiner designs. Deze keer heb ik een creatie gemaakt met de nieuwe digitale stempel Pug van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt.
Ik heb vandaag een kaartje/mapje gemaakt waarin je een cadeaukaart kan doen en dan zit er ook nog een bijpassend kaartje in waar je een verjaardagswens kan schrijven. Ik heb het kaartje gemaakt van kraft papier en ik heb het modelletje zelf verzonnen. Ik heb een gestreept design papiertje van het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn opgeplakt. Ik heb uit wit karton een cirkel gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies. Ik heb uit zwart karton een bijpassende scallop cirkel gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies. Ik heb op de witte cirkel een achtergrond voor de afbeelding gemaakt met Worn lipstick Distress inkt en daarna heb ik de cirkel samen met de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb uit een stukje roze design papier een aantal bloemetjes gestanst met de Mini flowers & leaves van Simon says stamp. Ik heb een aantal blaadjes uit groen karton gestanst met de Leaf cluster Die 066-c van Impression obsession en die heb ik onder de bloemetjes geplakt. Ik heb de hartjes van de bloemen versierd met zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Today I am posting a card on the blog from Gerda Steiner designs. This time I have made a creation with the new digital stamp Pug from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. 
I have made a card/folder for a giftcard and it also has a matching little card on which you can write a personal message. I have made the card from kraft cardstock and I designed it myself. On the front I glued striped rainbow paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn. I have diecut a circle from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies. I also have diecut a matching scalloped circle from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies. I applied Worn lipstick Distress ink on the white circle as a background for my image. From a piece of design paper I have diecut a couple of flowers with the Mini flowers & leaves from Simon says stamp. I cut a coupe of leaves from green cardstock with the Leaf cluster Die 066-c from Impression obsession and glued those under the flowers. I decorated the middle of the flowers with a black hotfix gem.

Ik heb een pocket gemaakt waar een cadeaukaart in past. Het vakje is gemaakt van regenboogpapier bvan het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn. Ik heb hier met de Gift card sliders van Crealies een gat in gemaakt en ik heb dezelfde dies gebruikt om de mooie versiering van het gat uit zwart karton te stansen.

I have made a pocket for a giftcard. The pocket is made from rainbow patterned paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn. I made a hole in the paper with the Gift card sliders die from Crealies. I used the same dies to diecut the black decoration around the hole.

Op het onderste gedeelte van de kaart heb ik een vakje gemaakt van kraft karton waarop ik gestreept regenboogpapier van het Really rainbow petite paper pack van Lawn fawn heb geplakt. Ik heb uit zwart karton het woord gefeliciteerd gestanst met de Handletter gefeliciteerd van Craft emotions en die heb ik op mijn vakje geplakt.

On the bottom part of the card I made a pocket from kraft cardstock and I glued striped rainbow paper from the Really rainbow petite paper pack from Lawn fawn on it. I have diecut the word gefeliciteerd (congratulations) black cardstock with the Handletter gefeliciteerd from Craft emotions and I glued it on the pocket.

In het vakje heb ik een wit kaart gedaan. Ik heb de Pug van Gerda Steiner designs nog een keer geprint, maar dan een stuk kleiner en ook deze afbeelding heb ik ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Ik heb de afbeelding op het witte kaartje geplakt. Daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design op het kaartje gestempeld. Op het kaartje heb ik nog een bloemetje en blaadje geplakt die ik heb uitgestanst met de Mini flowers & leaves van Simon says stamp en de Leaf cluster Die 066-c van Impression obsession. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik een lijntje langs de randen van het kaartje getekend.

In the pocket I have added a white card. I have printed the Pug from Gerda Steiner designs again but a little bit smaller and again I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils. I have glued the image on the white card. Then I stamped a sentiment (happy birthday) from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé design on the card. I added a little flower that I have diecut with the Mini flowers & leaves from Simon says stamp and the Leaf cluster Die 066-c van Impression obsession. I doodled lines on the card with a black fineliner.

A couple of birthday cards

Goodmorning, this is day 2 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik twee simpele verjaardagskaarten die ik heb gemaakt. Ik had voor een collega een kaartje nodig en toen heb ik besloten om een kaart in stoere kleuren te maken en de ander in wat lievere kleuren. Deze keer heb ik eens geen stempel ingekleurd op mijn kaarten, maar ik heb alleen maar "gekleurd" met distress inkten, ook erg leuk om te doen. ;)

Today I am posting 2 simple birthday cards that I made. I needed one for a colleague and decided to make one in more boyisch colours and the other one more for a woman. This time I didn't colour in any stamps at all, but I "coloured" with Distress oxide inks. That is also fun to do. ;) 

Het eerste kaartje is naar mijn collega Marco gegaan. Ik heb op een stuk aquarelpapier met Salty ocean en Mustard seed distress oxide inkt een achtergrond gemaakt voor mijn kaart. Ik heb daarna waterspetters op de achtergrond aangebracht en daarna heb ik met zwarte gesso kleine zwarte spetters gemaakt. Ik heb hier een vierkant uit gesneden en daarna heb ik met de Big birthday die-namics van My favorite things een grote tekst uit het vierkant gestanst. Ik heb een stukje plastic sheet achter op het vierkant geplakt, zodat ik er een schudkaart van kan maken. Nadat ik foamtape op mijn kaart heb aangebracht, heb ik de kaart gevuld met allerlei verschillende sequins en daarna heb ik zwart karton achter het vierkant geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies small 14 Ballon rond van Crealies en de Crea-nest-lies small 15 Ballon ovaal van Crealies heb ik uit zwart karton een aantal ballonnen gestanst en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik draadjes onder de ballonnen getekend. Uit zwart karton heb ik een aantal sterren gestanst met de Lots of stars creative cuts van Mama elephant en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

The first card was for my colleague Marco. On a sheet of watercolour paper I made a background with Salty ocean and mustard seed Distress oxide ink. Then I made some water splatters on the coloured cardstock. I also added black splatters with black gesso. I cut a square from this watercolour cardstock and then I have die-cut the Big birthday die-namics from My favorite things from this square. I glued a plastic sheet behind this square, so I could make a shaker card. After I put foamtape behind the square I filled my shakercard with all kinds of sequins. Then I added black cardstock behind the square. I have glued the square on a white card. I have die-cut a couple of balloons from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies small 14 Ballon rond from Crealies and the Crea-nest-lies small 15 Ballon ovaal from Crealies and glued those on the card. I added little strings with a black pen. Then I have die-cut a couple of stars from black cardstock with the Lots of stars creative cuts from Mama elephant and I glued those also the card.

Ik heb de binnenkant van de kaart heb ik versierd. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design in de kaart gestempeld. Ik heb uit zwart karton maar ook uit restjes van het aquarelpapier met de Distress oxide inkt erop weer een aantal ballonnen gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies small 14 Ballon rond van Crealies en de Crea-nest-lies small 15 Ballon ovaal van Crealies. Ik heb nog een aantal sterretjes binnen in de kaart geplakt die ik uit zwar karton heb gestanst met de Lots of stars creative cuts van Mama elephant.

Then I have die-cut a couple of balloons from black cardstock, but also from the watercolour paper with the Distress oxide inks with the Crea-nest-lies small 14 Ballon rond from Crealies and the Crea-nest-lies small 15 Ballon ovaal from Crealies. I also added some black stars that I have die-cut with the Lots of stars creative cuts from Mama elephant.

Voor het tweede kaartje heb ik de Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 van Crealies uit kraft karton een vierkant  gestanst. Daarna heb ik met de Big birthday die-namics van My favorite things de tekst uit dit vierkant gestanst. Op aquarelpapier heb ik met Peacock feathers, Mustard seed en Picked rapsberry Distress oxide inkt een achtergrond gemaakt en deze heb ik achter mijn tekst geplakt nadat deze was gevuld met sequins. Ik heb ook nog een aantal ballonnen uit het kraft karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies small 14 Ballon rond van Crealies en de Crea-nest-lies small 15 Ballon ovaal van Crealies. Ik heb de kaart daarna nog versierd met een aantal sequins.

For the second card I have die-cut a square from kraft cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 from Crealies. Then I have die-cut the sentiment from this square with the Big birthday die-namics from My favorite things. I also die-cut some balloons from this square with the Crea-nest-lies small 14 Ballon rond from Crealies and the Crea-nest-lies small 15 Ballon ovaal from Crealies. I have made a background for the sentiment with Peacock feathers, Mustard seed and Picked raspberry Distress oxide ink and glued it behond the square after I filled the card with sequins.

Di's digi stamps - Fijne verjaardag

Goedemorgen, afgelopen week was mijn moeder jarig en ik heb natuurlijk een kaartje voor haar gemaakt. Ik heb op mijn kaartje een nieuwe stempel van Di's digi stamps gebruikt. Dit is What's up van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb uit wit karton een vierkant gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 van Crealies en hierop heb ik met zwarte inkt wat verfspatjes gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik een tekst van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design op het vierkant gestempeld. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het vierkant geplakt. Ik heb uit rood design papier van het Graphic grid paperpad van My favorite things een vierkant gesneden en die heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik het vierkant met de afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. Uit het design papier heb ik een bloemetje gestanst met een Flower die van CC designs (retired). Uit groen karton heb ik 2 blaadjes gestanst met de Royal leaves die van My favorite things. Ik heb de bloem en blaadjes op de kaart geplakt en daarna de bloem versierd met een gele enamel dot.

Goodmorning, last week my mother celebrated her birthday and I have made her this card. On my card I used a new digital stamp from Di's digi stamps. This is What's up from Di's digi stamps. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have cut a sqaure from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 from Crealies. I made splatters on it with black ink. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé design on the square. I glued the image with foamtape on the square. I have cut a square from red design paper from the Graphic grid paperpad from My favorite things. I glued it on a white card and then I glued the white square on the card. I have die-cut a flower from the red design paper with a Flower die from CC designs (retired). From green cardstock I have die-cut 2 leaves with the Royal leaves die from My favorite things. I glued them all on the card and then I decorated the flower with a yellow enamel dot.

As you like it challenge - Your favourite flower

Goedemorgen, het is weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag je favoriete bloem zien. Het was een moeilijke keuze tussen tulpen en klaprozen, maar ik heb toch maar voor de klaproos gekozen. Ik vind de kleur rood gewoon erg mooi. Ik vind het ook leuk om een klaproos zomaar langs de weg te zien staan. Ze vallen natuurlijk mooi op in het groene gras.
Op mijn kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Open poppy van Fred she said designs gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik met de zwarte verf van mijn Kuretake gansai tambi kleine spatjes gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik een tekst van de set 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé design op het witte karton gestempeld. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van het witte karton gedoodled en vervolgens heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Het witte karton heb ik met foamtape op een rode kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik nog een aantal zwarte hotfix steentjes op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, it is time again for a new challenge on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we want to see your favourite flower. It was a difficult decision which one I like best Tulips or poppies, but I decided to go for a poppuy. I really love their red colour. It stands out really great when you see them in a grass field. I really love that look.
On my card I used the image Open poppy from Fred she said designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. On a piece of white cardstock I made little splatters with the black paint from the Kuretake gansai tambi set. Then I stamped a sentiment from the stampset 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé design (congratulations) on the white cardstock. With a black pen I doodled some lines on it. I adhered the poppy with foamtape. I glued the white cardstock with foamtape on a red card. Finally I decorated the card with a couple of black hotfix gems.

Fijne verjaardag

Hallo, dit is dag 15 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Hello, this is day 15 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Ook vandaag is het weer gelukt om een paar minuten te kleuren en ik heb vandaag een verjaardagskaartje gemaakt. Ik kwam tijdens het opruimen een oude stempelset van Hero arts tegen en die moest ik gewoon gebruiken om een kaartje te maken. Deze bloem en blaadjes komen uit de stempelset 3 Dotted flowers van Hero Arts (retired). Ik heb de afbeelding met versamark inkt op wit karton gestempeld en vervolgens heb ik de afbeeldingen met witte embossingspoeder geëmbost. Ik neem me iedere 30-day colouring challenge weer voor om met ander materiaal dan mijn potloden te kleuren, maar meestal gebruik ik toch vooral mijn potloden. Voor vandaag heb ik er toch voor gekozen om de afbeeldingen in te kleuren met mijn Zig clean colour real brush markers. Na het inkleuren heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Op een wit kaartje heb ik een tekst van de stempelset 't is je verjaardag van Els Brigé designs gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Op een stempelblok heb ik gekleurd met de roze zig marker en hier heb ik ook nog wat water aan toegevoegd. Dit heb ik gebruikt om met mijn kwast kleine stipjes op de voorkant van de kaart te maken. Ik heb de bloem en de blaadjes vervolgens met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Today I was again able to colour for a few minutes and I made a little birthday card. While cleaning up I found an old stampset from Hero arts and I had to use it to make this card. The flower and the leaf are from the stampset 3 Dotted flowers from Hero Arts (retired). I stamped the images with versamark ink on white cardstock and then I embossed them all with white embossingpowder. Every 30-day colouring challenge I plan to use other colouring mediums than my old trusty pencils, but in the end I use my pencils almost every day, but today I really wanted to use my Zig clean colour real brush markers. After colouring all the image, I have fussy cut them all. On a white card I stamped a sentiment from the stampset 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé designs with black ink. On a stamp block I coloured a bit with the pink Zig marker and I added a bit of water. I used it together with a little brush to make some splatters on the front of the card. Then I adhered the flower and leaves on the card.

De verjaardagskaart van Niek

Goedemorgen, op 1 januari werd mijn neefje Niek 4 jaar en ik heb eerder al een verjaardagstag gemaakt voor hem. Niek is heel gek op dieren, maar sinds het laatste half jaar is hij ook heel erg gek van piraten. Daarom heb ik dan ook een piraten verjaardags kaart gemaakt voor hem. Ik heb voor een heel leuk, bijzonder model gekozen. Ik zag namelijk laatst een filmpje van een Harmonica kaart van Hobbyvision en die kaart vond ik zo mooi, dat ik deze heb nagemaakt voor Niek.

Goodmorning, on the 1st of january it was my nephew Nieks 4th birthday and a couple of days ago I made him this birthday tag. Niek really loves animals, but since the last 6 months or so, he also really loves pirates. So I made him a pirate birthday card. I decided to make a really nice, special model. A few days ago I saw a great tutorial on facebook from a Harmonica card from Hobbyvision. I really loved this card, so I decided to make it for Niek.

Ik heb de stempelset Party like a pirate van My favorite things gebruikt. Ik heb diverse afbeeldingen gestempeld en deze daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen vervolgens uitgeknipt. Het model van Hobbyvision bestaat uit 3 losse onderdelen die aan elkaar worden geplakt, maar ik had nog een lang stuk rood karton liggen en daarom kon ik mijn kaart uit één deel maken. Uit wit en zwart karton heb ik een vierkant gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies. Op het witte vierkant heb ik een lucht gemaakt met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt. Ik heb nog een vierkant uit wit karton gestanst en hierop heb ik met hetzelfde stencil en Salty ocean distress inkt heb ik golven gemaakt. Ik heb hiervoor het stencil omgedraaid. Ik heb het vierkant langs de bovenrand van de golven uitgeknipt en dit heb ik op het vierkant met de lucht geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik een heuveltje/eilandje geknipt en nadat ik dit heb gekleurd met Antique linen en Tea dye distress inkt, heb ik ook dit op de kaart geplakt. In de rechter bovenhoek heb ik een tekst van de stempelset t is je verjaardag van Els Brigé designs. Ik heb het witte en zwarte vierkant op de voorkant van de kaart geplakt op zo'n manier dat er een zwart lintje onder de vierkanten doorgaat, zonder dat deze vast komt te zitten. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna met foamtape op de voorkant van de kaart geplakt.

I have used the stampset Party like a pirate from My favorite things. I stamped a couple of images and then I cloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have fussy cut all the images. Hobbyvision made the card from 3 separate parts of cardstock that had to be glued together, but since I had a really long piece of red cardstock in my stash, I made the card with all the parts already joined together. From black and white cardstock I have die-cut 2 squares with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. On the white square I made a sky with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have cut another square from with cardstock and with the same stencil, but this time Salty ocean distress ink I made ocean waves. I have cut them on the top and adhered it on the sky. I also cut a little hill and coloured it with Antique linen and Tea dye distress ink. In the right upper corner I stamped a sentiment from the set 't is je verjaardag from Els Brigé designs. I adhered the sqaures crooked on the card care fully taking care that the black ribbon isn't glued on the front of the card. I adhered all the images with foamtape on the front of the card. 

De binnenkant van de kaart heb ik ook versierd met allerlei afbeeldingen van de stempelset Party like a pirate van My favorite things. Ook deze afbeeldingen zijn allemaal ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Ik heb deze keer voor rechthoeken gekozen en ik heb hiervoor de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies gebruikt. In de lucht heb ik nog wat vogeltjes gestempeld.

The inside of the card is also decorated with images from the stampset Party like a pirate from My favorite things after I had coloured them with my Polychromos pencils. This time I went for rectangles and I cut those with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies. I stamped a couple of birds in the sky.

Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies heb ik 12 vierkanten uit wit karton gestanst en ook hierop heb ik lucht gemaakt met een stencil. Vervolgens heb ik uit rood karton met de Journaling alphas dies en Journaling numbers dies van Neat and tangled de tekst en de leeftijd van Niek uitgestanst en deze heb ik op de vierkantjes geplakt. Ik had ook nog wat afbeeldingen over en die heb ik op de vierkanten geplakt waarop ik verder nog niets heb geplakt.

With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies I have die-cut 12 little squares from white cardstock. On top of each square I made a cloudy background with the stencil. Then I have die-cut the name and age of Niek from red cardstock with the Journaling alphas dies and Journaling numbers dies from Neat and tangled and I adhered those on the sqaures. I had still some images left over and adhered those on the squares without a letter or number.

De achterkant van de kaart heb ik ook versierd. Ik moest namelijk even wegwerken hoe ik het zwarte lint op de kaart had geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies heb ik uit zwart karton en zwart-wit design papier van het Dessin paperpack van Hema 2 grote vierkanten gestanst en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

The back of the card is also decorated. I had to hide how I adhered the black ribbon on the back of the card. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies I have die-cut 2 large squares from black cardstock and black and white design paper from the Dessin paperpack from Hema and I adhered those on the card.
