Goodmorning, this is day 5 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag post ik een simpel kaartje gemaakt met een stempel van Lili of the valley. Deze stempel heb ik een tijd geleden van een lieve blogvriendin gekregen. Helaas is de afbeelding niet meer verkrijgbaar als rubber stempel, maar nog wel als dgitale stempel. Dit is Just chilling van Lili of the valley. Ik heb de afbeelding rechtstreeks op een witte kaart van Kars gestempld en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Er zitten teksten bij de stempel, maar die vond ik wat te klein voor dit kaartje. Daarom heb ik een tekst van een setje van Ladybug crafts ink gebruikt. Helaas bestaat dit merk niet meer, maar ik moest de tekst gewoon gebruiken omdat die gewoon erg goed bij de afbeelding past.

Today I am posting a simple card that I made with a stamp from Lili of the valley. I have gotten this stamp a while ago from a sweet blogging friend. Unfortunately the image isn't available as a rubber stamp any longer, but you can still get the digital stamp. This is Just chilling from Lili of the valley. I stamped the image on the front of a white card from Kars and then I coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. There are a couple of sentiment stamps in the set, but I think they are a bit too small for this card. That is why I used a stamp from Ladybug crafts ink. Unfortunately this brand doesn't exist any longer, but I had to use this sentiment, because it is just perfect for this image.

Christmascards 2016 - Chillax, it's the holidays

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik weer een nieuw kerstkaartje op mijn blog. Deze keer werk ik met een stempeltje van een stempelbedrijfje dat helaas niet meer bestaat. Ik heb toen ze gingen sluiten nog heel goedkoop een aantal stempeltjes gekocht, maar ik heb er eigenlijk nooit wat mee gedaan. Dat werd dus tijd om wel eens te doen! Dit is Magnum, the cat building a snowman van Ladybug crafts ink (retired). Ik heb de stempel op een kraft kaart gestempeld en deze heb ik daarna ingekleurd met mijn potloden. Ik heb daarna met een zwarte glaze pen de ogen van alle beesten gekleurd. Met een witte gelpen heb ik daarna sneeuw over de afbeelding getekend en daarna heb ik lijntjes rondom de kaart gedoodled. De tekst komt uit de set Arctic animals van Clearly besotted en is gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna geëmbost met witte embossingspoeder. Als laatste heb ik rood borduurgaren om de kaart gebonden. Met een gluedot houd ik het strikje op zijn plaats.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new christmascard on my blog. This time I am using an old stamp from a company that unfortunately no longer exists. When they had their closing down sale, I bpought a couple of stamps from them, but I actually never used them. So I thought it would be time to change that! This is Magnum, the cat building a snowman from Ladybug crafts ink (retired). I stamped the image on a kraft card and then I coloured it with my pencils. I used a black glaze pen to colour the eyes. With a white gelpen I added snow on the image and doodled some lines on the card. The sentiment from the set Arctic animals from Clearly besotted is stamped with versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. Then I used red embroidery thread to add a little bow on the card. I have used a gluedot to keep it in place.

Penny Black - For a special friend

Goedemorgen, vandaag laat ik een cadeautasje zien dat ik heb gemaakt. Op het tasje heb ik een afbeelding van Penny Black gebruikt. Deze afbeelding heb ik al meerdere keren op kaartjes gebruikt, maar hij blijft gewoon erg lief. Dit is Squeeze till I squeak van Penny Black. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de witte gelpen en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Uit oranje stipjes papier van het Kraft in color - color paperpad van Doodlebug heb ik een grote banner gesneden met de Die-namics stitched jumbo fishtail banner stax van My favorite things.  Rondom een handvat van het tasje heb ik strikje gemaakt van wit lint. Met de Build a flower - Embellishment 2 from Cheery Lynn Designs heb ik van wit papier een aantal bloemetjes gemaakt. Uit groen papier heb ik een aantal takjes geponst. In het midden van de bloemetjes heb ik een zwart hotfix steentje geplakt. De tekst komt uit de set It's only words 4 from Ladybug crafts inks (retired).

Goodmorning, today I am showing you a giftbag that I made. On the bag I have used an image from Penny Black. I have used this image a couple of times before on a card, but I keep loving it. This is
Squeeze till I squeak from Penny Black. I have colored the image with my pencils and the white gelpen and then I cut it out. I have cut a large banner out of orange dotted paper from the Kraft in color - color paperpad from Doodlebug with the Die-namics stitched jumbo fishtail banner stax from My favorite things. I have made a little bow from white ribbon around one of the handles of the bag. With the Build a flower - Embellishment 2 from Cheery Lynn Designs I made a couple of flowers out of white paper. I punched a couple of leaves from green paper. In the centres of the flowers I adhered a black hotfix gem. The sentiment is from the set It's only words 4 from Ladybug crafts inks (retired).

Gerda Steiner designs - Snoozing puppy

Goedemorgen! Ook deze maand doe ik weer mee aan de progressive challenge van Gerda Steiner Designs. Als je een kaartje maakt met de afbeelding van die challenge, krijg je automatisch de afbeelding die de volgende maand gebruikt gaat worden voor niets. :) De freebie deze maand is Snoozing puppy van Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Ik heb lang moeten nadenken voor ik wist wat ik met deze afbeelding wilde doen en ineens bedacht ik me dat ik zelf maar eens iets moest gaan tekenen. Ik heb dan ook met een potlood heel voorzichtig een boom en klein grasveldje getekend op een kaart waar ik langs de randen eerst een stiklijntje had getekend. Daarna heb ik de boom en het gras ingekleurd. Het volgende probleem was toen de lucht, want die wilde ik blauw hebben, maar kleuren met een potlood vond ik geen optie. Meet veel voorzichtig maskeren heb ik de lucht gemaakt met een ink blender en Soap powder inkt van Jenni Bowlin. De tekst komt uit een setje van ladybug crafts ink, uit de set It's only words 4 (retired).

Goodmorning! This month I am again participating in the progressive challenge van Gerda Steiner Designs. When you make a card with the image from that challenge, you get next month's image for free. :) The freebie this month is Snoozing puppy van Gerda Steiner designs. I colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut it out. I really had to think for a long time what I was going to do with the image, but then I decided that I would draw my own scene on the card. So with a pencil I have carefully drawn a tree and grass on a card, after I first had drawn faux stitching on it with a black pen. Then I colored the tree and the grass. The next problem was the sky, because I wanted a blue sky. Coloring it blue with a pencil wasn't an option for me. so with some really careful masking I colored the sky with a ink blender and soap powder ink from Jenni Bowlin. The sentiment is from ladybug crafts ink, from the set It's only words 4 (retired).

Sketch for you to try maart - Babykaart

Hallo! Ik heb weer een kaartje gemaakt voor de maandelijkse sketch challenge van Jen del Muro. Ook deze maand was het weer een hele leuke sketch en ik heb besloten om een babykaartje te maken. Ik wil met dit kaartje ook meteen meedoen aan twee andere challenges, die perfect bij mijn kaartje passen. Bij de craft challenge vragen ze namelijk om een babykaartje en bij de Dutch dare challenge vragen ze om een kaartje voor een feestelijke gebeurtenis zoals de geboorte van een baby

Hello! I made a card for the monthly sketch challenge from Jen del Muro. This month she made a really lovely sketch and I made a babycard with it. I want to enter this card also in 2 other challenges, becausethe card is perfect for it.  At the Craft challenge they are asking for a new baby card and at the Dutch dare challenge they want a card for a celebration, like for a new baby.

De stempel die ik heb gebruikt op mijn kaart is van de Baby baby set van Ladybug Crafts Ink. Is het geen dotje? Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de oogjes van de baby zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb voor de kaart donkerblauw karton gebruikt en daarop heb ik rose geruit papier geplakt. Ik heb van wit papier 3 strips gesneden en deze heb ik allemaal geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van provocraft. De tekst komt ook uit de Baby baby stempelset en die hbe ik op de geruite papier gestempeld.

The stamp I used is from the Baby baby stamp set from Ladybug Crafts Ink. Isn't it a cutie? I have coloured the image with my pencils and I used a black glaze pen for the eyes of the baby. I used dark blue cardstock for the card and I added a layer of pink gingham paper. I have cut 3 strips of white paper and embossed them with the swiss dots embossing folder from provocraft. The sentiment is from the same Baby baby stamp set and I stamped it on the gingham paper.
