Papertake weekly en Bee Crafty

Dit kaartje is gemaakt voor twee challenges tegelijk. Ik heb de leuke sketch van de Papertake weekly challenge gevolgd en bij Bee Crafty is het de bedoeling om een kerstkaartje te maken. Mijn afbeelding is een nieuwe digitale stempel van Bee Crafty. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met derwent en polychromos potloden. Met een zwarte glaze pen heb ik de oogjes en de knoopjes nog eens extra aangezet. Op de sneeuwman en de bontrandjes van de kleding van het meisje heb ik glitter gebruikt. De afbeelding is uitgesneden en geëmbost met de vierkante nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik de sneeuwsterretjes achtergrond geprint. Ik heb een stuk wit papier geëmbost met de Snowflakes embossing folder van cuttlebug. Op de sneeuwsterren heb ik nog eens gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. De tekst is met de computer gemaakt.

This card is for two challenges. I used the lovely sketch from the Papertake weekly challenge blog and you have to make a christmas card for the Bee Crafty challenge. My image is a new cute digi stamp from Bee Crafty. I coloured whimsical girl with derwent and polychromos pencils. With a black glaze pen I coloured the eyes and the buttons. I added some glitter to the snowman and the clothes of the girl. The image was cut out and embossed with square nestabilities. On a white card I printed the snowflake background. The white piece of paper was embossed with the snowflakes embossingfolder from cuttlebug. I coloured those snowflakes with a clear spica glitter pen. The sentiment (happy holidays) was computer generated.

Bee Crafty 13 - Bookmark

Dit is mijn boekenlegger die ik heb gemaakt voor de laatste Bee crafty challenge. Ik hou van lezen en ben gek op persoonlijke boekenleggers, dus ik wilde graag meedoen aan deze challenge. Ik heb voor mijn boekenlegger de leuke freebie van de stapel boeken die Merrigan op haar blog heeft geplaatst gebruikt en ook de afbeelding van seated boy, die ik met een eerdere challenge van Bee crafty heb gewonnen. Ik heb de jongen en de boeken gekleurd met derwent potloden en ze daarna uitgeknipt. Het witte papier is geëmbost met een mal van Crealies. Daarna heb ik met blauwe inkt en een sponsje de vierkantje nog eens beinkt. De hoekjes zijn afgerond met een ponsje. Ik heb nog een naam toegeboegd die gestanst is met het olivia alfabet van quickutz. Met een witte gelpen heb ik wat highlights aangebracht op de letters.

This is my entry for the Bee crafty challenge, a bookmark. I love reading and I love personalised bookmarks, so I really wanted to enter this challenge. I used the lovely freebie that Merrigan is offering on her blog of the stack of books and I used the sweet seated boy. I won this image on a previous Bee crafty challenge. :) I coloured the boy with pencils and cut him out. I embossed the white paper with a stencils from Crealies and I used the stencil to add the ink on the embossed parts. The corners were rounded with a punch. I added a name that I made with the olivia alphabet from quickutz. I used a white gelpen for some highlights on the letters.

Bee Crafty Challenge - Over the top....with dots

Ik heb vanmiddag een kaartje gemaakt voor de nieuwe challenge van Bee crafty. Deze challenge heeft als thema: Over the top. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om over de top te gaan met stipjes en volgens mij is dat redelijk gelukt. ;) Op mijn kaartje heb ik de digi: Whimsical girl and bird gebruikt. Ik heb het meisje ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Op haar jurkje heb ik met mijn witte souffle pen stipjes getekend. Na het kleuren heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. De bovenste cirkel die ik heb uitgesneden heb ik geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder. Op mijn kaart heb ik de rode stipjes en de tekst geprint. Voor de tekst heb ik een lettertype genomen met stipjes aan de letters. Ik heb van zwart grosgrain ribbon twee strikjes gemaakt en die op het lint geplakt. Uit rood papicolor papier heb ik nog 3 bloemetjes geponst en met de witte souffle pen heb ik een stipje getekend midden in de bloemetjes. Zou het genoeg over de top zijn?

I made a card for the Bee Crafty challenge this afternoon. This challenge's theme is: Over the top. I have chosen to go over the top with dots and I think I did a good job. ;) On my card I used the digi: Whimsical girl and bird. The girl was coloured with derwent pencils. I coloured white dots on her dress with a white souffle pen. After I coloured her I cut her out. I embossed the white circle with the swiss dots embossing folder. I printed the red dots and the sentiment on my card. I did use a font that has dots attached to the letters. I made two bows from balck grosgrain ribbon and used glue dots to attach them to the ribbon. I punched 3 flowers from red papicolor paper and drew a dot in the middle with the white souffle pen. Do you think this is enough over the top?

DU2DS 12 - Create a scene

Goedemorgen allemaal. Vandaag staat de nieuwste challenge van Dare U 2 Digi stamp weer online en deze week is het de bedoeling dat je een kleine scene maakt op je kaartje. Ik vond hem best moeilijk en kon maar niets vinden wat ik op mijn kaartje wilde gebruiken. Uiteindelijk heb ik toch wat leuks gevonden. Het meisje op mijn kaartje is een digi stempel van Bee crafty en de fantastische bloemen achtergrond is van mijn maatje Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper). Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden. Het oogje is gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb haar mutsje en alle bloemetjes gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Het vlindertje is een ponsje en de stipjes zijn getekend met een zwarte fineliner. De rose streepjes zijn op de kaart geprint en de rose cirkel is uit bazzil papier gesneden met nestabilities en daarna geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Het tekstje is wel echt gestempeld met het clear stempelsetje Every day greetings van Elzybells. In de hoekjes zitten twee zwarte hotfix steentjes.

Goodmorning everyone! Today we have a new challenge for you on the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog. This week you have to create a little scene on your card. I thought this wasn't really easy, but finnaly I had an idea. The little girl is a digi stamp from Bee crafty and the amazing flower background is from my buddie Chris Dark (Sketchingstamper). I colored the image with derwent pencils The eyes was colored with a black glaze pen. I colored the flowers with a clear spica glitter pen. The butterfly was made with a punch and the dots were colored with a black fineliner. I printed the pink lines on a card and the pink circle was cut with nestabilities and then I embossed it with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The sentiment is from the clear stamp set Every day greetings from Elzybells. I added two black hotfix stones in the corners.

Bee Crafty 6 - Letters and numbers

Vandaag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de challenge van de digi stempel firma: Bee crafty. Voor deze challenge is het de bedoeling dat je letters of cijfers gebruikt op je kaartje. Op mijn kaartje heb ik Fluffy Bunny birthday gebruikt. Het konijn is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. De oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen en met een witte gelpen heb ik accenten aangebracht. Ik heb de ballon nog een keer geprint en deze met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Op de ballon heb ik gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Op een witte kaart heb ik de rode strepen achtergrond geprint. De tekst is gemaakt met het rollerskate alfabet van quickutz. Met een witte gelpen heb ik accentjes op de letters aangebracht. Met een tang van fiskars heb ik de kleine sterretjes geponst en op de kaart geplakt.

Today I made a card for the challenge of the Bee crafty blog. Bee crafty sells the cutest digi stamps. For this challenge you have to use letters or numbers on your card. On my card I used Fluffly bunny birthday. I colored the rabbit with derwent pencils. The eyes were colored with a black glaze pen and with a white gelpen I made some accents on the image. I printed the balloon again and used foamtape to stick it on my card. I colored the balloon with a clear spica glitter pen. On a white card I printed the red striped background. The sentiment was made with the Rollerskate alphabet from Quickutz. With my white gelpen I have drawn some accents on the letters. With a punch from Fiskars I made some little stars.
