Christmas cards 2016 - Let it snow

Goedemorgen, we hebben net een kleine hittegolf achter de rug en meteen post ik een lekker winters kaartje met de tekst: Let it snow. Oeps! Maar ja het afgelopen jaar heb ik hard gewerkt aan mijn voorraad kerstkaarten en ook deze week post ik weer een nieuwe kerstkaart. Deze keer is het meer een winters kaartje dan een kerstkaart, maar zelf vind ik dat geen probleem om te versturen. Ik schrijf mijn kerstwens gewoon binnenin de kaart. ;)
Op mijn kaart heb ik de afbeelding Taste of winter van Mo's digital pencil gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Derwent inktense potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en de clear Spetrum noir sparkle pen. De afbeelding heb ik uitgesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 van Crealies en daarna op groen karton geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de set On thin ice van Clearly besotted naast de afbeelding gestempeld. Op een witte kaart heb ik paars ruitjespapier uit het Tiny check brights paper pad van My favorite things geplakt en daarop heb ik een strip groen papier geplakt waar ik een lintje omheen heb gebonden.

Goodmorning, we just had a little heatwave in the Netherlands and I am posting a winter card with the text Let it snow on it. Oops. But this year I have been making christmas cards to add to my stash and this is the last card that I made. It is more a winter card than a christmas card, but I will send it anyway. I can add my christmas wishes on the inside of the card. ;)
On my card I used the image Taste of winter from Mo's digital pencil. I coloured the image with my Derwent inktense pencils, the black glaze pen and the clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. The image is cut out with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 42 from Crealies and then I adhered it on green cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the set On thin ice from Clearly besotted next to the image. On a white card I adhered purple gingham paper from the Tiny check brights paper pad from My favorite things and then I added a strip of green cardstock after I wrapped a white ribbon around it.

Herr Fritz is geboren!

Goedemorgen, mijn neef en zijn vriendin zijn sinds een paar weken de trotse ouders van een puppy met de naam Herr Fritz en dan moet je natuurlijk wel een geboortekaartje sturen naar de trotse "ouders". ;)
Op het kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Fred van Mo's digital pencil gebruikt omdat dit hondje wel een beetje op Herr Fritz lijkt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik eerst een laag geel karton geplakt en daarna heb ik blauw ruitjespapier van het Tiny check paper pad van My favorite things op de kaart geplakt. Uit geel karton heb ik een cirkel frame gesneden met de Pierced circle frames die-namics van My favorite things. Ik heb hier blauw borduurgaren omheen gebonden. Ik heb op het frame de naam van de puppy geplaatst met zwarte letterstickers. Uit geel papier heb ik een aantal sterretjes gestanst met de Lots of stars creative cuts from Mama elephant en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, a few weeks ago my cousin and his girlfriend became the proud parents of puppy Herr Fritz and offcourse I have to send a babycard to the proud "parents". ;)
On the card I have used the image Fred from Mo's digital pencil, because this dog looks a bit like Herr Fritz. I have coloured the image with my polychromos pencils and then I have fussy cut the image. On a white card I adhered a layer of yellow cardstock and then I adhered blue gingham paper from the Tiny check paper pad from My favorite things. I have cut a circle frame from yellow cardstock with the Pierced circle frames die-namics from My favorite things. I have wrapped blue embroidery thread around it. On the frame I added the name of the puppy with black letter stickers. From yellow cardstock I cut a couple of stars with the Lots of stars creative cuts from Mama elephant and I adhered those on the card.

A little witchy

Goedemorgen dit is dag 25 van de 30-day coloring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag ben ik een beetje laat, ik moest nog even snel mijn kaartje afmaken. ;) Ik heb weer een halloween kaart gemaakt en deze keer heb ik de afbeelding A little witchy van Mo Manning gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Uit zwart glitterpapier heb ik een tag gesneden met de  Gift tags 2 van Paper smooches. Door het gaatje heb ik orange bakers twine van the Ribon girl gebonden. De tekst is met de computer gemaakt en die heb ik onderaan de tag geplakt. Op mijn zwarte kaart heb ik designpapier van het Halloween paperpad van American crafts geplakt. Ik heb een stukje oranje papier gesneden met de Stitched borders 1 van Pretty pink posh en dat heb ik links op de kaart geplakt. Het kleine spinnetjes is uit zwart papier gesneden met de silhouette.

Today I am a bit late, because I had to finish my card first. I made another halloween card and this time I used the image A little witchy from Mo Manning. I have colored the image with my pencils and the black glaze pen and then I cut it out. I have cut a tag from black glitter paper with the Gift tags 2 from Paper smooches. I have wrapped orange bakers twine from the Ribon girl throught the hole of the tag.The sentiment was made on the computer. On a black card I adhered design paper from the Halloween paperpad from American crafts. I have cut orange cardstock with the Stitched borders 1 from Pretty pink posh and I adhered it on the left of the card. The little spider is made from black cardstock and I cut it with the silhouette.

Verjaardagskaartje voor Sherida

Hallo! Afgelopen week werd de dochter van mijn vriendin Sandra 13 jaar en voor haar heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt. Ik heb de sketch van een challenge blog gevolgd, maar welke dat was weet ik niet meer. Handig he! Sherida is helemaal gek van haar Uggs en deze digi van Mo Manning was dan ook perfect voor haar! Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en daarna uitgesneden met de ronde nestabilities. Ik heb met een bruine fineliner een randje gedoodled. Het stipjespapier is van Pinecone press papers. Er zit nog een bruin vlak papier achter maar op de foto lijkt het net zwart. Ik heb de bloemetjes gemaakt met de retro bloemen ponsen. Ik heb langs de rand van de rose bloem gedoodled met een bruine fineliner. Op de kleine bruine bloemetjes heb ik een pareltje gemaakt met een witte perlen pen. De tekst heb ik geprint.

Hello! Last week it was the 13th birthday of my friends daughter and I made her this card. I have followed the sketch from a challenge blog, but I can't remember which one. :) Sherida loves her Uggs and that's why I think this image from Mo Manning is perfect for her! I have coloured the image with my pencils and then I cut it out with the circle nestabilities. I used a brown fineliner to doodle on the edge of the circle. The dotted paper is from Pinecone press papers. I added brown paper, but in the paper it looks like it is black. I made the flowers with the retro flower punches. I doodled on the pink flower with brown flower and added a white pearl that I made with a perlen pen. The sentiment (congratulations) was made with the computer.

DU2DS 44 - Blooms and charms

Goedemiddag! Ik ben behoorlijk vergeetachtig geloof ik, want nu ben ik weer bijna mijn kaartje voor de nieuwste challenge  van Dare U 2 Digi stamp vergeten te posten op mijn blog. :( Deze keer hebben we weer een erg leuke challenge, we willen namelijk graag bloemetjes en een charm op je kaart zien. De anderen van het design team hebben weer geweldige kaarten gemaakt, dus kom even kijken op het blog en we zouden het erg leuk vinden als je meedoet!

Op mijn kaart heb ik deze geweldige lieve afbeelding van Mo Manning: Strawberry girl gebruikt. Het meisje heb ik ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Ze is geprint op het witte vierkant. Rondom het meisje heb ik gestempeld met de petit strawberry stempel van Elzybells. Met mijn nestabilities heb ik uit groen papier het kader gesneden en dit is met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb met een witte gelpen stipjes getekend op het kader. De charm die ik heb gebruitk is een aardbei die ik bij Whiff of Joy heb gekocht, zo perfect voor deze afbeelding! Ik heb de charm aan het kader gehangen met een strikje van wit lint. Langs de randen van het witte vierkant heb ik een stiklijntje getekend met een zwarte fineliner. De kaart zelf is gemaakt van rood karton.

I think I am a a bit forgetful, because again I almost forgot to post a card, this time it is my card for the Dare U 2 Digistamp challenge. :( This week we have a really fun challenge, we want you to use blooms and charms on your card or other porject that you are making. I have use this very sweet image from Mo Manning: strawberry girl on my card. I have coloured the girl with my derwent pencils. She was printed on the white square. Around the image I have stamped with the petit strawberry stamp from Elzybells. I made the green frame with the my nestabilities. I used a white gelpen to draw te dots on it. The charm I used is a cute strawberry from Whiff of joy. The charm was attached to the frame with a white ribbon. I used a black fineliner to do the faux stitching on the edges of the white square. The card is made from red cardstock.

Hoi hoi! Vandaag laat ik een kaartje zien dat ik afgelopen week heb gemaakt. Mijn tante vroeg me een kaartje te maken met de kleuren fel rose, zwart en wit en dit is het resultaat geworden. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Tasha van Mo Manning, ik moet altijd grinniken als ik dit boze meisje zie. :) Ik heb Tasha ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Op het rose doodlebug cardstock heb ik gestempeld met een klein stempeltje van Elzybells. Het zwarte vlak is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Van zwart-wit geruit lint heb ik een strikje gemaakt. De bloem is gemaakt met de floral punches van Nellie Snellen. In het hartje heb ik een zwart hotfix steentje geplakt en op de bloem heb ik gespoten met pearl glimmermist.

Hello, Today I am showing you a card that I made this week. My aunt asked me to make a card with the colours pink, black and white and this is the result. The image I used is Tasha from Mo Manning and I always laugh when I see this little angry girl. :) I have coloured Tasha with derwent pencils. On the pink doodlebug paper I stamped with the little flower stamp from Elzybells. The black paper is embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I made a little bow from black and white gingham ribbon. The flower was made with the floral punches from Nellie Snellen. In the heart I added a black hotfix stone and I sprayed on it with pearl glimmermist.

En nog weer een kerstkaartje!

Dit kaartje heb ik het afgelopen weekend gemaakt. Ik heb op mijn kaart gebruikt van deze geweldige digitale stempel van Mo Manning: Christmas fairy holly. Zoals altijd heb ik hem weer ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. Ook heb ik weer gekleurd met mijn clear spica glitter pen, maar dat is niet te zien op de foto. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met mijn cirkel nestabilities. De tekst komt uit een setje kerstteksten van Lily of the valley. Ik heb een kaart uit rood cardstock van doodlebug gesneden. Daar bovenop zit een vierkant met daarop groene stippen geprint.

I made this card last weekend. I used a fabulous digital image from Mo Manning on my card: Christmas fairy Holly. As always I have coloured the image with my derwent pencils. I also have coloured with my clear spica glitter pen, but you can't see that on my picture. I have cut the image with the circle nestabilities. The sentiment is from a christmas stamp set from Lily of the valley. The card is made from red cardstock from doodlebug. I have placed a white square on top of the card after I printed green dots on top of it.

Deze kaartjes heb ik gemaakt voor de tweeling van een vriendin van mij. Ze zijn het afgelopen weekend één jaar oud geworden. Ik was helaas niet op tijd met mijn kaartje, maar gelukkig had ik vandaag nog wat tijd over om iets voor ze te maken. Voor mijn kaartjes heb ik de sketch van Mojo Monday gevolgd en de geweldige afbeelding is van Mo Manning. Echt perfect voor de meiden. Ik heb de afbeelding voor één kaartje gespiegeld en hem zo bewerkt dat de één toch nog de goede kant opstaat. Ik heb de afbeeldingen gekleurd met derwent en caran d'ache potloden. De oogjes zijn nog weer eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De jurkjes en strikjes heb ik nog eens gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen uitgesneden met cirkel nestabilities. Het vierkant eronder is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Op het ene kaartje heb ik een rose streepjes achtergrond gebruikt en voor het andere kaartje paarse ruitjes. De namen van de meiden zijn gemaakt met het Phoebe alfabet van quickutz. Het tekststempeltje is van Stamping Bella. De foto's zijn helaas niet geweldig.

I made these cards for my friend's twins. They celebrated their first birthday last weekend. Unfortunately I wasn't on time with my cards, but today I had some time to make them a card. I followed the sketch from Mojo monday and used this fabulous image from Mo Manning for my cards. Just perfect for the girls. I mirrored one of the images and editted it a bit so the one on the cupcake was still facing the right way. I coloured the images with derwent and caran d'ache pencils. I coloured the eyes with a black glaze pen. I used a clear spica glitter pen to color the dresses and the little bows. I cut the images out with my circle nestabilities. I embossed the square with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. On one card I used a pink striped background and on the other a purple gingham background. I made the names of the girls with the phoebe alphabet from quickutz. The sentiment ( congratulations) is a stamp from Stamping Bella. Unfortunately the pictures aren't that great.

Friday sketchers - Keisha

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt met de leuke sketch van de friday sketchers. Ik heb een digi stempel van Mo Manning gebruikt: Keisha. Is het geen schatje? Keisha is gekleurd met derwent potloden. Haar oogjes zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen, de stipjes op haar wang zijn gedaan met een witte souffle pen. Ik heb de bloemblaadjes, haar haarband en de strik ook nog eens gekleurd met een clear spica glitter pen, maar dat is niet te zien op de foto. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de cirkel nestabilities. Op een witte kaart heb ik de paarse ruitjes geprint. De witte strip papier is geëmbost met de swiss dots embossing folder van cuttlebug. Ik heb er een strikje van paars satijn lint omheen gedaan. Op de cirkel heb ik een paar zwarte hotfix steentjes geplakt.

This card was made for the lovely sketch from the friday sketchers. I used a digi stamp from Mo Manning: Keisha. Isn't she a cutie? Keisha was coloured with derwent pencils. Her eyes were coloured with a black glaze pen and the dots on her cheeks were done with a white souffle pen. I coloured the flowers, her bow and the hair ribbon with a clear spica glitter pen, but you can't see that in the picture. I cut the image out with the circle nestabilities. I printed the purple gingham background on a white card. The strip of white paper was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder. I added a purple satin ribbon. I used a few black hotfix stones on the circle.
