Fairytale challenge is having a break

Goedemorgen! Vandaag zou eigenlijk mijn nieuwe kaartje voor de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog gepost worden, maar vanwege de nieuwe privacy wetten die eind mei gaan gelden voor de Europese Unie heeft Bianca (de blogeigenaar) besloten om een tijdelijke pauze in te lassen. Het is nog niet goed bekend wanneer we weer terug komen, maar dat zie je vanzelf hier op mijn blog. ;)

Goodmorning! Normally I would have posted my new card for the new challenge on the Fairytale challenge blog on my blog today, but because of the new privacy laws in the EU, Bianca the owner of the challenge has decided to have a little break. We are not sure when we are back again, but I will post it here on my blog. ;)

Fairytale challenge - 1-2-3 challenge

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en deze keer hebben we een 1-2-3 challenge. Op je kaartje willen we graag dat je de volgende spullen gebruikt: 1 lintje - 2 embellishments (Hotfix sterretjes en tags) en minstens 3 stempels (dat zit wel goed bij mij op deze kaart ;) ).
Ik kwam in de silhouette winkel een leuk mini album tegen dat eigenlijk bedoeld is om te gebruiken met scrappen, maar het leek mij wel leuk om te gebruiken voor een kaartje. Dit is de Mini album card with pocket envelope and tags van Paige Evans. Ik heb wat onderdelen van het design verwijderd en toen heb ik de kaart uit wit en kraft karton gesneden. Ik heb voor deze kaart de stempelset Party animals van My favorite things gebruikt. Op de voorkant van de kaart heb ik de onderkant van het witte karton gekleurd met Wild honey distress oxide inkt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding opgeplakt. Om de kaart te sluiten heb ik een zwart lintje gebruikt.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog and this time we are having a 1-2-3- challenge. We want you to use the following things on your card: 1 ribbon - 2 embellishments (hotfix stars and little tags) and at least 3 stamps ( I have used many more on my card ;) ).
I saw a cute mini album in the Silhouette online store and although it is actually for scrapbooking photo's, I decided to use it as a card. This is the Mini album card with pocket envelope and tags from Paige Evans. I removed some parts of the design and then I cut the card from kraft and white cardstock with the silhouette cameo. On this card I used the stampset Party animals from My favorite things. On the front of the card I coloured with Wild honey distress oxide ink and then I adhered the images. To close the card I used black ribbon. 

Binnenin in de kaart heb ik heel veel stempels van de stempelset Party animals van My favorite things gebruikt. Ik heb nadat ik de afbeeldingen heb gestempeld ze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Met een cirkel die en masker papier heb ik een masker gemaakt om te gebruiken om de cirkels te maken op de kaart. Ik heb hiervoor een aantal kleuren distress oxide inkt gebruikt. Ik heb de kleuren Wild honey, Spiced marmelade, Picked raspberry, Festive berries, Salty ocean, Broken shina, Lucky clover en Wilted violet distress oxide inkt gebruikt. Daarna heb ik uit maskerpapier een rechthoek gesneden en hiermee heb ik met dezelfde kleuren distress oxide inkt rechthoeken gekleurd voor de letters. Ik heb de letters uit zwart karton gestanst met de Journaling alpha dies van Neat and tangled. De tekst happy is gestempeld met de stempelset Labeled messages van Mama elephant. Ik heb de kaart versierd met zwarte hotfix sterretjes.

Inside the card I used a lot of stamps from the stampset Party animals from My favorite things. After I stamped all the images I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut all the images. With a circle die and masking paper I made a mask to colour the circles on the card. I coloured them with my Wild honey, Spiced marmelade, Picked raspberry, Festive berries, Salty ocean, Broken shina, Lucky clover and Wilted violet distress oxide ink. Then I have cut a rectangle from masking paper and I used the same colours of ink to colour the rectangles for the sentiment. I have cut the letters from black cardstock with the Journaling alpha dies from Neat and tangled. The sentiment Happy is stamped with the set Labeled messages from Mama elephant. I decorated the card with black hotfix stars.

In het oorspronkelijke mini album design, zit ook nog een klein vakje en dat heb ik gevuld met mijn tweede embellishment: 2 kleine tags. Ik heb de tags uitgesneden met de silhouette en daarna heb ik ze gekleurd met Wild honey en Broken china Distress oxide inkt. Ik heb met een zwarte fineliner lijntjes gedoodled op de tags en daarna heb ik wat afbeeldingen op de tags geplakt. Ik heb wit borduurgaren aan de tags gebonden.

In the original design of the mini album there is a little pocket and I decided to keep it and fill it with my second embellishment: 2 little tags. I coloured the tags with Wild honey and Broken china Distress oxide inkt. With a black pen I doodled some lines on the tags and then I adhered some stamped images on them. I tied white embroidery floss onto the tags.

Fairytale challenge - April weather - It's raining cats and dogs

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en deze keer laten we ons inspireren door het weer in april. De challenge is April weather: It is raining cats and dogs, oftwel April weer: het regent pijpestelen. Voor deze challenge heb ik een kaartje gemaakt en omdat ik nog wat afbeeldingen over had heb ik ook nog een bijpassende tag gemaakt.

For this challenge I made a card and because I had still some images left over, I decided to use those on a tag.

Ik heb afbeeldingen van de stempelset Chance of rain van Mama elephant gestempeld en vervolgens ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en Prismacolor premier potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik ze uitgeknipt. Het leek me leuk om een cirkelvormige kaart te maken, dus ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 van Crealies 2 geschulpte cirkels uit wit karton gestanst en hier een kaart van gemaakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXl 41 van Crealies heb ik een hele en halve cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. De halve cirkel heb ik daarna nog eens gestanst met een Grass die. Ik heb deze gekleurd met Twisted citron en Mowed lawn distress inkt. De grote cirkel heb ik gekleurd met Tumbled glass en Broken China distress inkt en deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Uit wit karton heb ik een aantal wolkjes gestanst met de Cloud 9 die-namics van My favorite things. De wolken heb ik gekleurd met Pumice stone distress inkt en daarna heb ik deze op de kaart geplakt samen met het gras. De regendruppels komen ook uit de stempelset Chance of rain van Mama elephant en deze heb ik met Broken China distress inkt op de kaart gestempeld. De tekst komt ook uit dezelfde stempelset. Ik heb de afbeeldingen vervolgens met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

I stamped images from the stampset Chance of rain from Mama elephant and coloured those with my Polychromos pencils and Prismacolor premier pencils and a black glaze pen and then I fussy cut them all. I thought it would be fun to make a circle shaped card, so I used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies to cut 2 scalloped circles from white cardstock and I made a card from those. With the Crea-nest-lies XXl 41 from Crealies I have die-cut a half circle and another circle from white cardstock. With a Grass die I have die-cut a grass hill from the half circle. I coloured the grass with Twisted citron and Mowed lawn distress ink. The big circle is coloured with Tumbled glass and Broken China distress ink and then I adhered it on the card. I have die-cut a couple of clouds from white cardstock with the Cloud 9 die-namics from My favorite things and I coloured those with Pumice stone distress ink and then I adhered them on the card. I also adhered the grass hill on the card. The raindrops are also from the set Chance of rain from Mama elephant and I stamped those with Broken china distress ink on the card. The sentiment is also from the same stampset. I adhered the images with foamtape on the card.

Zoals gezegd had ik nog wat afbeeldingen over die ik heb gestempeld met de stempelset Chance of rain van Mama elephant. Het leek me leuk om deze op een tag te gebruiken. Ik heb uit wit karton een tag gestanst met de Nellie's multi frame's Tags (MFD077) van Nellie Snellen en verder heb ik hierop dezelfde producten als op de kaart gebruikt.

Like I said I still had some images left over that I stamped with the stampset Chance of rain from Mama elephant. I thought it would be fun to use those on a tag. So I have die-cut a tag with the Nellie's multi frame's Tags (MFD077) from Nellie Snellen from white cardstock. All the other supplies that I used on the tag were also used on the card.

Fairytale challenge - Easter baskets

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag paasmandjes/doosjes zien. Ik heb een doosje gemaakt waar 20 chocolade paaseitjes in passen....yummy!
Met een gable dox die heb ik het doosje uit wit karton gestanst. Voor ik het doosje in elkaar heb gezet heb ik het eerst versierd. Met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt heb ik wolken op het doosje gemaakt. Ik heb dit op alle 4 kanten van het doosje gedaan. Daarna heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Brush bunny van Gerda Steiner designs op het doosje gestempeld. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik daarna meerdere afbeeldingen van de stempelset Brush bunny van Gerda Steiner designs gestempeld. Ik heb het grasrandje steeds aan elkaar gestempeld zodat ik het doosje rondom versierd kon worden met gras. Ik heb ook meerdere eieren gestempeld en na het stempelen heb ik de gedoodled op de eieren met een zwarte fineliner. Daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen gekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen vervolgens uitgeknipt en rondom op het doosje geplakt zodat het doosje aan alle kanten versierd is.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog and this time we want to see easter baskets/boxes. I made a little box that can hold about 20 chocolate eggs...yummy!
With a Gable box die I have die-cut the gable box from white cardstock. I decorated it before I glued it together. With the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink I made some clouds on all sides of the box. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set Brush bunny from Gerda Steiner designs on the box. On white cardstock I stamped a couple of images from the stampset Brush bunny from Gerda Steiner designs. I stamped the grass in a line so I could adhered it on the bottom of the box after I had fussy cut it. I stamped a couple of eggs and doodled on them with a black pen. I have coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and a white gelpen. I fussy cut all the images and adhered them on all sides of the box.

Het doosje is niet heel groot, maar er passen dus wel 20 paaseitjes in...lekker hoor. ;)

The box isn't very big, but you can still put 20 chocolate eggs inside it.....delicious. ;)

Fairytale challenge 189 - Spring bingo

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. Deze keer hebben we een lente bingo. Je moet dus op je kaartje een van de bingolijnen volgen. Ik ben voor het rijtje wolken - vraagteken - ei en hier heb ik een paaskaartje mee gemaakt.
Op mijn kaartje heb ik de stempelset Cottontail cuties van Neat and tangled gebruikt. Ik heb een aantal afbeeldingen gestempeld en deze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Uit wit karton heb ik 2 rechthoeken gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies. Op de ene rechthoek heb ik met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Met een gras stans heb ik uit de tweede rechthoek een grasheuveltje gestanst en het gra heb ik gekleurd met Twisted citron en Mowed lawn Distress inkt. Ik heb het gras op de andere rechthoek geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op het rechthoek geplakt. Uit geel karton heb ik een rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 van Crealies en hierop heb ik de afbeeling geplakt. De tekst komt uit de stempelset Cottontail cuties van Neat and tangled. Op een gele kaart heb ik ruitjespapier van het Perfectly plaid spring paper pad van Lawn fawn geplakt dat ik heb uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies en daarna heb ik de rechthoeken met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. This time we are having a Spring bingo. On your card/project you have to follow one of the lines from the bingo grid. I have picked the line: Clouds - Question mark - Egg and I used this line to make an easter card. 
On my card I have used the stampset Cottontail cuties from Neat and tangled, I stamped a couple of images and coloured those with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. I have die-cut 2 rectangles from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies. On one of the sqaures I made a background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. I have cut a grass hill from the second rectangle with a grass die and then I coloured the grass with Twisted citron and Mowed lawn Distress ink. I adhered the grass on the other rectangle and then I adhered the images with foamtape. The sentiment is also from the stampset Cottontail cuties from Neat and tangled. I have die-cut a scalloped rectangle from yellow cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 56 from Crealies and I adhered the rectangle with the images on top of it. On a yellow card I adhered a scallop from cute design paper from the Perfectly plaid spring paper pad from Lawn fawn that I have cut with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies. Then I placed the rectangle with the images with foamtape on the card.

Fairytale challenge 188 - Rainbow + Black and white

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. Deze keer is onze challenge om een kaartje te maken met een zwart-wit gecombineerd met de kleuren van de regenboog. Een erg leuke challenge, want ik vind het erg leuk om de kleuren van de regenboog te gebruiken.
Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Mountain high mice van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies. In de rechter bovenhoek van de afbeelding heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Tiny type van Clearly besotted stamps gestempeld. Uit zwart karton heb ik een iets grotere rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies en hierop heb ik de afbeelding geplakt. Op de voorkant van een witte kaart heb ik zwart-wit streepjespapier van het Black and white stripes paperpad van My favorite things geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

I have die-cut a larger rectangle from black cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies and I adhered the image on top of it. On the front of a white card I adhered black and white striped design paper from the Black and white stripes paperpad from My favorite things and then I adhered the image with foamtape on the card.

Fairytale challenge 187 - Use ministamps

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 30 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin.

Goodmorning, this is day 30 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag begint de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. Deze keer is onze challenge om mini stempels te gebruiken. Ik moest meteen aan de stempelset Little dog agenda van Mama elephant denken. Deze stempelset bestaat namelijk uit 20 kleine afbeeldingen van hondjes, die eigenlijk bedoeld is om in je agenda te gebruiken, maar de set is ook perfect op een kaartje te gebruiken.

Ik heb 8 verschillende hondjes van de stempelset Little dog agenda van Mama elephant gestempeld en deze heb ik daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgestanst met de Little dog agenda - Creative cuts van Mama elephant. Uit een stuk wit karton heb ik een vierkant gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 van Crealies. Met de X-tra 7 van Crealies heb ik uit dit vierkant 9 kleine cirkels gestanst. Ik heb dit vierkant op een witte kaart gelegd en daarna heb ik met een potlood getekend waar de openingen van de cirkels komen. Daarna heb ik met Picked raspberry, Candied apple, Abandoned coral, Carved pumpkin, Scattered straw, Twisted citron, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch en Wilted violet distress inkt gekleurd op de kaart zodat er een leuke gekleurde achtergrond achter elke cirkel zit. Ik heb het witte vierkant met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen met foamtape in de cirkels geplakt. In de groene cirkel heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Tiny type van Clearly besotted stamps.

Today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. This week we want you to use ministamps. I immediately thought about the stampset Little dog agenda from Mama elephant. This stampset has 20 little dog stamps in it, that are actually are for a planner, but you can also use them on a card. 

I have stamped 8 different dogs from the stampset Little dog agenda from Mama elephant and then I coloured them all with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have die-cut all the images with the Little dog agenda - Creative cuts from Mama elephant. I have die-cut a square from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies. With the X-tra 7 from Crealies I have die-cut 9 circles out of the square. I put the square on a white card and marked where the circles are with a pencil. Then I used Picked raspberry, Candied apple, Abandoned coral, Carved pumpkin, Scattered straw, Twisted citron, Mermaid lagoon, Blueprint sketch and Wilted violet distress ink to colour the background behind all the circles. I adhered the sqaure with foamtape on the card and then I adhered all the images with foamtape insode the circles. I stamped a sentiment from the set Tiny type from Clearly besotted stamps inside the green circle.

Goodmorning, this is day 16 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag laat ik het projectje zien dat ik voor de nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog heb gemaakt. Onze nieuwe challenge is namelijk Coffee and cake. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een klein doosje te maken met daarin een heerlijke Kanjer chocoladewafel. Op het doosje staat een tekst waarmee je iemand kunt uitnodigen om gezellig ergens koffie (of thee als je net zoals ik geen koffie lust ;) ) te gaan drinken.
Ik heb het doosje gewoon zelf zonder technische hulpmiddelen gemaakt. Op het doosje heb ik de digitale stempel Bear with cup van Kinda cute stamps gebruikt. Ik heb de beer ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Op de sjaal van de beer heb ik streepjes getekend met een witte gelpen. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens uitgeknipt. Het doosje is gemaakt van wit karton en daarop heb ik een laag rood karton geplakt. Met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 73 van Crealies heb ik uit wit karton een cirkel gestanst en deze heb ik op het doosje geplakt. Ik heb de beer vervolgens met foamtape op het doosje geplakt. Uit groen karton heb ik de tekst gestanst met behulp van de set Alphabet soup - lowercase van Memory box. Ik heb deze vervolgens op de cirkel geplakt. Uit groen karton heb ik ook nog 2 hartjes gestanst met de Mini hearts set van Simon says stamp. Ik heb één hartje onder de tekst geplakt en het andere hartje heb ik op de koffiebeker die de beer in zijn handen heeft, geplakt.

Today I am showing you a project that I made for the new challenge on the Fairytale challenge blog. Our new challenge is Coffee and cake. I decided to make a little box with a nice delicious chocolate cookie in it. On the box I added a sentiment that you can use to invite someone to get a cup of coffee (or tea, if you doný like drinking coffee ;) ). 
I made the box myself without using my silhouette or something else. On the box I used the digital stamp Bear with cup from Kinda cute stamps. I have coloured the bear with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I used a white gelpen to draw stripes on the scarf of the bear. I have fussy cut the image. The box is made from white cardstock. I added a layer of red cardstock. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 73 from Crealies I have die-cut a circle from white cardstock and I adhered it on the box. I adhered the image with foamtape on the box. From green cardstock I have die-cut the sentiment with the Alphabet soup - lowercase from Memory box. I have placed the sentiment on the white circle. I have die-cut a couple of hearts from green cardstock with the Mini hearts set from Simon says stamp. I placed one heart under the sentiment and the other one is adhered on the coffeecup the bear is holding in his hands.

Goodmorning, this is day 2 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Vandaag begint er een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en deze keer hebben we een inspiratie challenge. Op het blog staat een mooie foto en die moet je dus als inspiratie voor je kaartje gebruiken.
Ik was geinspireerd door het ijs op de foto en heb daarom een kaartje gemaakt met de stempelset You make my heart spin van My favorite things. Ik heb het huisje de bomen en het vijvertje op een stuk wit karton gestempeld. Het konijntje en het vogeltje heb ik op een apart stukje wit karton gestempeld. Ik heb alle afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb het konijntje en het vogeltje uitgeknipt. Ik heb de sneeuw gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass distress inkt een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt. Ik heb de afbeeldingen uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 van Crealies. Ik heb dezelfde dies gebruikt om een grotere vierkant uit donkerblauw karton te stansen. Ik heb nadat ik alles op een witte kaart heb geplakt heb ik nog een tekst in de linker bovenhoek gestempeld en ik heb de dieren met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog and this time we have an inspiration challenge. On the blog you can find a really pretty picture and you have to use it as inspiration for your card.

I was inspired by the ice on the picture and that is why I made a card with the stampset You make my heart spin from My favorite things. On a piece of white cardstock I stamped background with the stamps from the pond, house and trees. On a seprate piece of white cardstock I stamped the bunny and bird. I coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the bunny and the bird. The snow is coloured with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. With the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink I made a cloudy background. I have die-cut the background with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies. I used the same dies to die-cut a larger square from blue cardstock. After I adhered everything on a white card and then I stamped a sentiment in the left upper corner and then I adhered the animals with foamtape on the card.

Fairytale challenge 184 - New technique

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. Deze keer is de challenge om een nieuwe techniek te gebruiken op je kaartje. Ik heb voor een techniek gekozen die niet super vernieuwend is, maar zelf heb ik het nog nooit gedaan. Ik heb namelijk met distress oxide inkt een achtergrond voor mijn kaart gemaakt en daarna heb ik met een stencil en water een patroon gemaakt in de distress oxide inkt.
Op mijn kaartje heb ik de afbeelding Hippo with butterfly van Gerda Steiner designs gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies een rechthoek uit wit karton gestanst en dit heb ik gekleurd met Worn lipstick en Candied apple distress oxide inkt. Daarna heb ik het Big hearts polka stencil van Create a smile stamps op het rechthoek gelegd. Ik heb toen met een sponsje een beetje water op de open plekken aangebracht, zodat de inkt hier weer wat wordt weggehaald en het patroon dus tevoorschijn komt. Ik heb een wit lintje om het rechthoek gebonden. Vervolgens heb ik teksten van de stempelset Hippo with butterfly van Gerda Steiner designs op de hartenachtergrond gestempeld. Uit wit karton heb ik met de B152 Miniature rose die van Cheery Lynn designs 3 bloemetjes gestanst em deze heb ik op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb ze versierd met een zwart hotfix steentje.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. This time our challenge is to use a new technique on your card. I have picked a technique that is not really new, but I haven't done it before. I have made a background with distress oxide inks and then I made a pattern on it with a stencil and water. 
On my card I have used the image Hippo with butterfly from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I have die-cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies and then I coloured it with Worn lipstick and Candied apple distress oxide ink. Then I layed the Big hearts polka stencil from Create a smile stamps on top of the rectangle and then I applied some water with a spunge, so the ink was removed a bit again. The spots are lighter ad the pattern appears. I tied white ribbon around the rectangle. Then I stamped sentiments from the set Hippo with butterfly from Gerda Steiner designs on the rectangle. From white cardstock I have die-cut with the B152 Miniature rose die from Cheery Lynn designs 3 little flowers and I adhered those on the card. I have decorated them with a black hotfix gem.

Fairytale challenge - Lucky charm

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog en deze keer is onze challenge Lucky charm. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de afbeelding Lucky birdbrain chick van From the heart stamps. Ik heb de grappige vogel ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en met een witte gelpen heb ik stipjes op de wangen gezet. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 van Crealies. Ik heb de afbeelding in de die laten zitten en toen rondom de afbeelding gekleurd met Tumbled glass distress inkt en een dauber. Uit donker blauw karton heb ik een rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 van Crealies en deze heb ik op een witte kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst die bij de afbeelding hoort ook uitgestanst met dezelfde dies en die heb ik schuin op de kaart geplakt zodat het beter past. Ik heb de kaart nog versierd met een aantal witte hotfix steentjes.

I have made a card with the image Lucky birdbrain chick from From the heart stamps. I have coloured this funny bird with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and with a white gelpen I added some dots on the cheeks. I have die-cut the image with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 33 from Crealies. I left the image in the die and then I coloured around the image with Tumbled glass distress ink and a dauber. From blue cardstock I have cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 36 from Crealies and I adhered it on a white card. I used the same dies to cut the sentiment and I adhered it crooked on the card, because that fitted a little bit better. I decorated the card with a couple of white hotfix gems.
