As you like it challenge 304 - Your favourite fun fold

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Rachelle Anne Miller. Deze keer willen we je favoriete fun fold kaart zien. Ik maak niet vaak fun fold kaarten wat eigenlijk best jammer is, want het is leuk om te maken en ze zien er ook leuk uit. Ik vond het dan ook erg leuk om deze kaart te maken, hoewel hij toch iets anders is geworden dan het origineel door wat foutjes die ik heb gemaakt. 

Ik heb weer eens een digitale stempel van The digistamp boutique gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding Easter bunny and flowers van The digistamp boutique (out of business) ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de Zwarte glaze pen van Sakura en een Witte Uni Posca pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 127 van Crealies een cirkel uit wit karton gestanst. Ik heb hier met een blending kwast Mowed lawn en Tumbled glass Distress inkt op de cirkel aangebracht en daarna heb ik de afbeelding met foamtape op de cirkel geplakt. Ik heb de kaart gemaakt van het vel designpapier Wassermelone (blumen punkte) papier van Dini design. Ik heb met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 93 van Crealies 2 randjes uit wit karton gestanst om deze achter het design papier te plakken. Nadat ik de kaart heb gevouwen heb ik een lintje rondom de kaart gebonden en daarna heb ik de cirkel met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset It's poppin van Mama elephant op de kaart gestempeld. Ik heb de kaart versierd met witte puffy stickers van de set Puffy stickers Hearts and Stars black and white van Mintopia. 

Hello, today a new challenge begins again on the As you like it challenge blog, and this time we are sponsored by Rachelle Anne Miller. This time, we’d love to see your favourite fun fold card. I don't often make fun fold cards, which is actually a bit of a shame, because they are fun to create and they also look great. I really enjoyed making this card, even though it turned out a bit differently from the original due to some mistakes I made.

I’ve used a digital stamp from The Digistamp Boutique again. I coloured the Easter Bunny and Flowers image from The Digistamp Boutique (now out of business) with my Polychromos pencils, the Black glaze pen from Sakura, and a White Uni Posca pen, before colouring the image. I used the Crea-nest-lies XXL 127 from Crealies to die-cut a circle from white cardstock. I applied Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks to the circle with a blending brush, and then I adhered the image onto the circle with foam tape.

I made the card from the Wassermelone (blumen punkte) papier from Dini design. I die-cut two borders from white cardstock using the Crea-nest-lies XXL 93 from Crealies to place behind the design paper. After folding the card, I tied a ribbon around it, then adhered the circle with foam tape onto the card. I stamped a sentiment from the It's poppin from Mama elephant onto the card. I decorated the card with white puffy stickers from the Puffy stickers Hearts and Stars black and white from Mintopia.

Advent calendar for my mother - Day 2

Hallo, dit is het cadeautje dat ik voor dag 2 heb gemaakt voor de advents kalender (klik op het linkje voor alle posts) voor mijn moeder. Ik heb meerdere afbeeldingen van de stempelset Little merry sign agenda van Mama elephant gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de Black glaze pen van Sakura. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna uitgeknipt. 

Ik heb mijn cadeautje ingepakt in kraft inpakpapier en daarna heb ik met Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof white verfspatjes aangebracht op het inpakpapier. Uit wit karton heb ik 2 sneeuwheuvels geknipt en daarna heb ik deze licht gekleurd met Peacock feathers Distress inkt voor ik ze op mijn doosje heb geplakt. Ik heb wit papier gekleurd met een mix van Mowed lawn en Rustic wilderness Distress inkt en daarna heb ik hier met de Trees by Marleen (CR1483) van Marianne design een aantal boompjes uitgestanst en die heb ik op het doosje geplakt. Daarna heb ik alle afbeeldingen met foamtape op het doosje geplakt. Met rode stickers heb ik de tekst op de bordjes van de kerstman, rendieren en sneeuwpoppen geplakt. 

Hallo, this is the present that I have made for day 2 from the advent calendar (click on the link for all posts) for my mother. I have stamped a couple of images from the stamp set Little merry sign agenda from Mama elephant and then I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the Black glaze pen from Sakura. I have fussy cut all the images.

I have wrapped my paper in kraft wrapping paper and then I added tiny paint splatters on the wrapping paper with Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof white. I have cut 2 snowhills from white cardstock and after I coloured them lightly with Peacock feathers Distress ink I glued them on the box. I have coloured white cardstock with a mix of Mowed lawn and Rustic wilderness Distress ink and then I cut some trees out of it with the Trees by Marleen (CR1483) from Marianne design and then I glued them on the box. I have glued the images with foamtape on the box. I have added the sentiment on the sigs with red sticker letters.

As you like it challenge 268 - Halloween or fairies

Hallo, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer worden we gesponsord door Dies to die for. Deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever een kaart maakt voor halloween of een kaart met elfjes erop. Ik vind het maken van halloween kaarten erg leuk om te doen, dus dit was geen moeilijke keuze. Ik ben gek op de leuke afbeeldingen en de gekke kleurencombinaties die je op halloween kaarten kunt maken. Ze kunnen eng zijn, maar een schattige halloween kaart is ook erg leuk om te maken.

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de schattige spookjes van de set Little boo agenda van Mama elephant. Ik heb de afbeeldingen gekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Van wit karton heb ik een mini slimline kaart gemaakt. Uit zwart karton heb ik een laag voor op de kaart gestanst met de Mini slimline C - Ruwe randen (CLCZ83) van Crealies. Ik heb een rechthoek gesneden uit oranje sterrenpapier van het Surprise party paper pack van Sunny studio stamps en daaruit heb ik 3 kleine vensters gestanst met de Wonky window dies van Sunny studio stamps. Ik heb het oranje karton met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de kleine spookjes met foamtape in de vensters geplakt. Met een witte gelpen heb ik witte stippen rondom de spookjes getekend. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een tekst van de set Itty bitty boos (retired) van My favorite things gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze uitgestanst met de Strips met stiklijn (CLmix12) van Crealies. Ik heb de tekst daarna op mijn kaart geplakt.

This time we would like to know if you prefer to make halloween cards or cards with fairies on them. I really enjoy making halloween cards, so this was a really easy choice. I love the fabulous images and the funny colour combinations you can use on halloween cards. You can make really scary cards, but cute halloween cards are also very fun to make.

I have made a card with the adorable ghosts from the set Little boo agenda from Mama elephant. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the images. I have made a mini slimline card from white cardstock. I have cut a layer for the card from black cardstock with the Mini slimline C - Ruwe randen (CLCZ83) from Crealies. I have cut a rectangle from orange star paper from the Surprise party paper pack from Sunny studio stamps. I have cut 3 windows in it with the Wonky window dies from Sunny studio stamps. I have glued the orange cardstock with foamtape on the card and then I glued the ghosts inside the windows with foamtape. With a white gelpen I have drawn little dots around the ghosts inside the windows. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Itty bitty boos (retired) from My favorite things on white cardstock and then I have cut it with the Strips met stiklijn (CLmix12) from Crealies. I have glued the sentiment under the windows on the card.

Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en een witte gelpen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik groen stipjespapier dat ik cadeau heb gekregen van Clearly besotted geplakt. Daarna heb ik een wit lintje om de voorkant van de kaart gebonden. Ik heb een grote ovaal uit wit karton gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 51 van Crealies en die heb ik daarna op de kaart geplakt. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna met foamtape op het ovaal geplakt. Ik heb een tekst van de stempelset Picnic with friends van Mama elephant op de kaart gestempeld.

I have cut a large oval from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 51 from Crealies and then I glued it on the front of the card/ Then I glued the image with foamtape on the oval. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Picnic with friends from Mama elephant on the card.

A very tiny birthday card for Menno

Goedemorgen, ik schreef het gisteren al dat mijn neefje Menno 9 jaar oud is geworden. Omdat het een corona verjaardag is, die niet echt gevierd kan worden, heb ik hem 9 verjaardagskaarten toegestuurd om het toch nog een beetje een feestje te laten worden. Ik had wat kaartjes gebruikt die al op mijn blog hebben gestaan, maar ik heb ook wat nieuwe kaarten gemaakt. Dit is één van de nieuwe kaarten. 

Ik heb een mini kaartje gemaakt met de kaartjes en enveloppen van de stansset Envelope set by Marleen (CR1518) van Marianne design. Ik heb een dubbel kaartje gestanst en de voorkant heeft het formaat van 3,5 x 1,7 cm.....heeeeeeel klein dus. Ik denk dat Menno daar wel om kan lachen. ;)

Op de voorkant van het kaartje heb ik een pinguïn van de stempelset Little penguin agenda van Mama elephant gestempeld met Fadeout no line colouring detail ink van Inkon3. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Met kleine stickerlettertjes heb ik een 9 op de ballon geplakt en verder nog de tekst hoera. 

Goodmorning, I wrote yesterday that my nephew celebrated his 9th birthday yesterday. Because it is a corona birthday, that cannot be celebrated of a lockdown, I have send him 9 birthdays cards to make the day a little bit more festive. I have send him a couple of cards that were already posted on my blog, but I also made him some new ones. This is one of them.

I have made a mini card with the cards and envelopes from the dieset Envelope set by Marleen (CR1518) from Marianne design. I have cut a double card and the front of the card has a size of 3,5 x 1,7 cm............that is really tiny. I think Menno will appreciate it. ;)

On the front of the card I have stamped a penguin from the set Little penguin agenda from Mama elephant with Fadeout no line colouring detail ink from Inkon3. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils. With little letter stickers I have added a 9 on the balloon and added a sentiment.

Zo'n klein kaartje kan natuurlijk niet zomaar verstuurd worden, dus ik heb het kaartje met washitape op een A6 correspondentiekaartje geplakt en het daarna verstuurd in een normale envelop.

Such a little card cannot be send with the mail. so I attached it onto an A6 card with washitape and put that card in a normal size envelope.

Goodmorning, this is day 2 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin.

Goedemorgen, vandaag start er weer een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag weten of je liever met jungle of boerderij dieren op je kaartje werkt. Ik vind het leuk om met alle soorten dieren op mijn kaarten te werken, maar omdat ik vooral veel setjes met jungle dieren heb, heb ik daarmee een kaartje gemaakt voor deze challenge. Mijn neefje Niek was een tijd erg gek op wilde dieren en daarom maakte ik graag kaarten met wilde dieren voor hem. Ik woon in een buurt met aardig wat boerderijen dus boerderijdieren zie ik veel vaker dan jungledieren en daarom vind ik het dan ook erg leuk om jungle dieren op mijn kaartje te gebruiken, zodat ik die ook wat vaker zie. ;) De winnaar van onze challenge mag bij een volgende challenge guest designer worden!

Ik heb een kaart gemaakt met de schattige dieren van de stempelset Jungle plushies van Clearly besotted. Ik heb de diertjes gestempeld met Versafine clair nocturne inkt en daarna heb ik ze geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik de dieren ingekleurd met Distress inkt. Ik heb vervolgens alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Ik heb van kraft karton een slimline kaart gemaakt en van wit karton heb ik een rechthoek voor op mijn kaart gesneden. Met behulp van maskertape heb ik met Tumbled glass en Broken china distress inkt een achtergrond voor de dieren gemaakt. Onder de blauwe inkt heb ik Brushed corduroy Distress inkt aangebracht. Met een zwarte fineliner heb ik lijntjes langs de randen van het witte karton getekend.Vervolgens heb ik de dieren met foamtape op de kaart geplakt. Boven de dieren heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Picnic with friends van Mama elephant gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Mijn inktpad is bijna op en dat was goed te zien aan de ogen van al mijn dieren en daarom heb ik een zwart hotfix steentje op alle ogen geplakt.

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and this time we want to know if you like to make cards with farm animals or do you prefer jungle animals. I really like using all kinds of animals on my cards, but since my little nephew Niek really loved all kinds of wild animals, I have a lot of sets with jungle animals. I loved making cards with these for him. I live in an area with lots of farms, so I often see farm animals ans that is another reason why I love using jungle animals, now I get to see those also more often. ;) The winner from this challenge will be asked to be a guest designer soon!

I have made a card with the cute animals from the stampset Jungle plushies from Clearly besotted. I have stamped the animals with Versafine clair nocturne inkt and then I embossed them with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured all the animals with my Distress inks and then I have fussy cut all the images. I have made a slimline card from kraft cardstock and cut a rectangle topper for it from white cardstock. On the white cardstock I have made a background for the images with the help of masking tape and Tumbled glass and Broken china distress ink. On the bottom I used Brushed corduroy Distress ink. With a black fineliner I doodled lines around the edges of the cardstock. Then I glued the animals with foamtape on the card. I have stamped a sentiment from the set Picnic with friends from Mama elephant above the animals. My black inkpad really needs a refill and that was really visible on all the eyes of the animals, so I glued a black hotfix gem on all of their eyes.

Merry monday - Happy christmas

Goedemorgen, het is weer Merry Monday op mijn blog en dan probeer ik zo vaak mogelijk een kerstkaartje te posten hier om zo alvast een lekkere voorraad voor december op te bouwen.
Deze keer heb ik een kerstkaartje gemaakt met de clear stempel Wrapped penguin (FRS045) van Woodware craft collection. Ik heb de pinguïn met zwarte inkt gestempeld en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met clear embossingpoeder. Daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met de Karin brushmarkers pro en vervolgens heb ik deze uitgeknipt. Op een witte kaart heb ik een achtergrond voor de afbeelding gemaakt met Peacock feathers Distress inkt. Op de achtergrond heb ik stipjes van de stempelset Polar pals van Mama elephant gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Op een stukje wit karton heb ik een sneeuwheuveltje getekend en nadat ik deze heb ik uitgeknipt, heb ik hier de tekst op gestempeld. Daarna heb ik het sneeuwheuveltje en de pinguïn met foamtape op mijn kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, it is Merry Monday again on my blog and then I try to post a christmas card as often as I can on my blog, so I will have a nice stash ready in december.
This time I have made a card with the clear stampset Wrapped penguin (FRS045) from Woodware craft collection. I have stamped the penguin with black ink and then I embossed it with clear embossingpowder. I have coloured the image with the Karin brushmarkers pro and then I have fussy cut the image. On a white card I made a background for the image with Peacock feathers Distress ink. On the background I stamped dots from the stampset Polar pals from Mama elephant with Versamark ink and then I embossed those with white embossingpowder. On a piece of white cardstock I made a little snowhill with a black fineliner. After I have fussy cut it I stamped a sentiment on it and then I glued the snowhill and the penguin with foamtape on my card.

Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding daarna uitgeknipt en op een kraft kaart geplakt. Op een strip rood karton heb ik een tekst van de stempelset Christmas pageant van Neat and tangled gestempeld met versamark inkt en daarna heb ik deze geëmbost met witte embossingpoeder. Ik heb de strip met foamtape op mijn kaartje geplakt.

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een nieuw halloweenkaartje op mijn blog. Ik heb deze keer een kaartje gemaakt met het Karin Joan's letterboard van Marianne design (DF3454). Ik heb het letterboard uit paars en zwart karton gestanst. De tekst heb ik uit wit karton gestanst en daarna heb ik deze op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a new halloween card on my blog. This time I made a card with the Karin Joan's letterboard from Marianne design (DF3454). I have die-cut the letterboard from purple and black cardstock. I have die-cut the sentiment from white cardstock and glued it on the letterboard.

Ik heb daarna een aantal van de schattige spookjes van de stempelset Little boo agenda van Mama elephant gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeeldingen daarna uitgeknipt en met foamtape op het kaartje geplakt. De kleine snoepjes komen uit dezelfde stempelset en vormen de perfecte versieringen van mijn kaart.

Goedemorgen, het is een beetje stil geweest op mijn blog de laatste weken, maar hier ben ik weer. Ik had enorm last van mijn schouder en heb die even goed rust gegeven.
Vandaag begint er een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog en deze keer willen we graag je favoriete beest of vogel zien. Ik heb natuurlijk voor een muisje gekozen, ze blijven gewoon favoriet van me. Ik heb een kaartje gemaakt met de digitale stempel Beach ready mouse van Di's digi stamps. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik de afbeelding uitgeknipt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik met het Sunny day stencil van Clearly besotted stamps en Squeezed lemonade en Mustard seed Distress inkt een zonnetje gemaakt. Daarna heb ik een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Tumbled glass Distress inkt. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens met foamtape op het witte karton geplakt. Ik heb daarna een tekst van de stempelset Beach chickies van Mama elephant op het witte karton gestempeld. Op een witte kaart heb ik 2 strips roze stipjespapier van het Spooky cute paper pad van Your next stamp geplakt en daarna heb ik het witte karton met de afbeelding met foamtape op de kaart geplakt.

Goodmorning, it has been a bit quiet on my blog, becuase I had a painful shoulder. I have given it a little bit of rest the past 2 weeks.
Today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and we want to see your favourite beast or bird. As always did I make something with my favourite animal: the mouse. I just love their cute faces. :) I have used the digital stamp Beach ready mouse from Di's digi stamps on my card. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I have fussy cut the image. On white cardstock I made a sun with the Sunny day stencil from Clearly besotted stamps and Squeezed lemonade and Mustard seed Distress ink. Then I added clouds with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass Distress ink. I have added the image with foamtape on the white cardstock. Then I stamped a sentiment from the set Beach chickies from Mama elephant above the image. On a white card I glued 2 strips of pink dotted design paper from the Spooky cute paper pad from Your next stamp and then I glued the white cardstock with foamtape on the card.

As you like it challenge 153 - Your favourite colouring medium

Goedemorgen, vandaag is het weer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge op het As you like it challenge blog. Deze keer willen we graag zien dat je je favoriete kleurmedium gebruikt op je kaart. Hoewel ik af en toe wel eens met een ander kleurmedium kleur, gebruik ik bijna altijd mijn potloden voor al mijn kleurwerk. Toen ik begon met het inkleuren van stempels heb ik voor potloden gekozen en ik vind het na al die jaren nog steeds een erg fijn middel om te gebruiken. Ik vind het leuk dat je iets heel licht kunt inkleuren maar door veel laagjes aan te brengen, kan je ook erg fel inkleuren.

Een tijdje geleden heb ik deze kaart gemaakt en toen ik deze aan het maken was, heb ik meteen een aantal extra dieren gestempeld en nu heb ik die eindelijk gebruikt op dit kaartje. De dieren komen uit de stempelset Peek-a-boo pals van Avery elle. Ik heb de dieren ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen en daarna heb ik alle dieren uitgknipt. Ik heb de feestmutsjes ook noo gekleurd met de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. Uit een stuk kraft papier heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 van Crealies een aantal cirkels uitgestanst. Ik heb op een witte kaart de verschillende cirkels afgeplakt met maskerpapier en daarna heb ik met Abandoned coral, Mowed lawn, Spiced marmelade en Blueprint sketch Distress inkt een achtergrond gemaakt voor de dieren. Ik heb vervolgens het kraft papier met foamtape op de kaart geplakt en daarna heb ik alle dieren met foamtape in de cirkels geplakt. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik een aantal teksten van de set Labeled messages van Mama elephant gestempeld en deze heb ik uitgeknipt. Ik heb de teksten naast de dieren op de kaart geplakt. Als laatste heb ik in de cirkels kleine sterretjes van de set You're a treat van Neat and tangled gestempeld met zwarte inkt. Als laatste heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een lijntje langs de randen van het kraft papier getekend.

Although I sometimes use another colouring medium, I colour most of the times with my pencils. When I started with colouring stamps, I started with pencils and since then I have always used them. I love that you can colour really light with them, but you can also get very bright colours. This time we are being sponsored by Lee Holland digis. 

A while ago I have made this card and when I made it I stamped a couple of extra animals for another card and now I have finally made the other card. The animals are from the set Peek-a-boo pals from Avery elle. I have coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have fussy cut all the images. I have coloured the party hats with the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle glitter pen. I have die-cut a couple of circles from a piece of kraft cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies. On a white card I used masking tape to colour the backgrounds behind all the circles with Abandoned coral, Mowed lawn, Spiced marmelade and Blueprint sketch Distress ink. Then I glued the kraft paper on the white card with foamtape. I also used foamtape to place all the animals inside the circles. On white cardstock I stamped a couple of sentiments from the set Labeled messages from Mama elephant and then I fussy cut them. I glued them next to the animals on the card. I stamped a scouple of black stars from the set You're a treat from Neat and tangled inside all the circles. Then I doodled a line along all the edges of the kraft cardstock with a black fineliner.
