My Blogging planner 2017

Goedemorgen, dit is dag 1 van de 30-day colouring challenge van Kathy Racoosin. De challenge waarbij het de bedoeling is om iedere dag minimaal 10 minuten te kleuren, gewoon omdat het leuk is en ontspannend werkt. Iedereen kan en mag meedoen. Klik op de link voor meer informatie. :)

Mijn eerste project voor de 30-day colouring challenge is weer een pagina voor mijn blogschrift. In deze blogpost van vorig jaar heb ik mijn blogschrift al laten zien. Omdat ik in meerdere design teams zit, soms ook nog guest designer ben op blogs en ook nog kaarten maak voor het Hobbyjournaal, was ik af en toe een beetje de weg kwijt wat nou wanneer af moest zijn. In mijn blogschrift staat er een maandoverzicht op 1 pagina en daarop heb ik dan ingevuld op welke dagen ik bepaalde blogposts moet plaatsen. Ik houd daar ook meteen bij of ik de kaart al heb gemaakt, foto's heb genomen en de blogpost heb geschreven. Zo heb ik veel meer overzicht en zou ik dus nooit meer iets kunnen vergeten. ;) Bovendien heb ik ook nog ruimte voor ideetjes en schrijf ik verjaardagen en bijzondere dagen op, zodat ik weet dat ik daar een kaartje voor moet maken. Erg handig dus. In mijnn schrift is ruimte voor meerdere jaren en ik dan ook een leuke versierde pagina gemaakt voor elk nieuw jaar. Vorig jaar was ik in augustus klaar met mijn pagina voor 2016 (oeps...) en nu is het september en is mijn pagina voor 2017 klaar. Hahah lekker op tijd hé. Ik wil volgend jaar toch proberen om iets sneller te zijn, dus ik heb mijn pagina voor 2018 al klaar liggen, ik moet hem alleen nog inkleuren, maar dat komt vast wel goed. ;)

My first project for the 30-day colouring challenge is another page for my bloggin planner. In this blogpost from last year I already showed you my blogging planner. Because I am in a couple of design teams and I am also guest designing sometimes for bogs and I make cards for a Dutch magazine, so sometimes I was a bit lost because I didn't know what I had to post on a certain date. In my blogging planner I have a page with the whole month on it and I write down all the posts I have to make that month. I also keep track for every post if I have made the card, took pictures of it and wrote my blogpost. This way I have a nice overview and I can hardly forget to make a card or post. ;) I also have room to write down ideas and birthdays, so I can always think about those. My diary has room for a couple of years and I always make a nice decorated page to seperate the years. In 2016 I posted my page for that year in August (oops) and my page for 2017 is posted today in september. Hahaha almost on time ;). Next year I am going to try to be more on time, so my 2018 page is already printed and the only thing I need to do is colour it.

Mijn pagina van dit jaar is gemaakt met stempels van Purple onion designs en dan van de collectie van Stacey Yacula studio. Zij maakt gewoon de liefste afbeeldingen en ik zou ze eigenlijk vaker moeten gebruiken. Ik ben begonnen met het printen van de naam van mijn blog en het jaar op een wit vel karton en daarna heb ik een heleboel stempels gebruikt om mijn scene te stempelen. Voor sommige afbeeldingen heb ik masker papier gebruikt. Ik heb de volgende afbeeldingen gebruikt op mijn pagina: Shelly (bathing mouse) - Sandy (bathing bear) - Zoey (bunny reading) - Mia (mouse reading) - Up and away (hot air balloon) - Beach grass 1 - Beach umbrella - Mountains - Clouds - Sun. Ik heb alle afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de zwarte glaze pen. Voor de lucht bergen en het gras heb ik mijn Derwent aquatone potloden gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding vervolgens in mijn schrift geplakt.

My page for this year is made with stamps from Purple onion designs. I have only used images from Stacey Yacula studio. Her images are so sweet and I should use them more often. I started with printing my blogname and the year on a sheet of white cardstock and then I used lots of stamps to create my scene. For some stamps I have used masking paper. I have used the following stamps: Shelly (bathing mouse) - Sandy (bathing bear) - Zoey (bunny reading) - Mia (mouse reading) - Up and away (hot air balloon) - Beach grass 1 - Beach umbrella - Mountains - Clouds - Sun. I have coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. For the sky, mountains and the grass I used my Derwent aquatone pencils. I have adhered the page in my blogging planner.

Guestdesigner Gerda Steiner designs - Pool piggies (part 4)

Goedemorgen, vandaag weer een Gerda Steiner designs post van mij. Later vandaag komt er ook nog een post voor het As you like it challenge blog online. Deze maand ben ik guestdesigner voor Gerda Steiner designs. Ik heb de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs ontvangen en daar heb ik in totaal 4 kaarten mee gemaakt. Vandaag dus nummer 4 en dit is dus de laatste kaart uit deze serie! Ik heb veel plezier gehad met deze stempelset, dus Gerda en Macy bedankt dat ik weer guestdesigner mocht zijn.

I have received the stampset Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I made 4 cards with it. This is number 4 and the last one from this set! I really loved working with this stampset, so thanks so much Gerda and Macy for asking me to be a guestdesigner again.

Mijn laatste kaartje is een shakerkaartje geworden. Zo'n poolpiggie hoort natuurlijk lekker te dobberen op zijn zwemband in het zwembad. Voor deze kaart heb ik een varkentje en de zwemband uit de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs gestempeld. Ik heb beide afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en daarna heb ik beide afbeeldingen uitgeknipt en op elkaar geplakt met foamtape. Uit wit karton heb ik met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 & 50 from Crealies een rechthoek gesneden met daarin een vierkant raampje. Achter het raam heb ik een stukje plastic sheet geplakt. Op een stuk karton heb ik een waterachtergrond gemaakt met de volgende kleuren distress inkt: Tumbled glass, Broken china, Salty ocean en Mermaid lagoon distress inkt. Ik ben daarna met Mermaid lagoon inkt en het Curved lines stencil van Create a smile nog een keer over de achtergrond gegaan, zodat er een mooie waterachtergrond ontstond. Ik heb foamtape op het witte karton geplakt en daarna de shaker gevuld met Sparkling clear sequins 3mm van Pretty pink posh en blauwe sequins van de Witte boekhandel. Ik heb het geheel op een rode kaart geplakt. De tekst komt uit de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs en die heb ik met zwarte inkt op de kaart gestempeld. Ik heb varkentje vervolgens boven op de kaart geplakt.

My last card is a shakercard. A pool piggie has to be in a swimming pool on a pool ring. For this card I stamped a piggie and the poolring from the stampset Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs. I have coloured the images with my Polychromos pencils and then I fussy cut the images. I adhered them on top of each other with foamtape. From white cardstock I cut a rectangle panel with a square hole in it with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 & 50 from Crealies. I adhered a piece of plastic sheet behind the window. On a piece of cardstock I made a background with the following colours of distress ink: Tumbled glass, Broken china, Salty ocean and Mermaid lagoon distress ink. Then I went over the background again with Mermaid lagoon distress ink and the Curved lines stencil from Create a smile. This way I got a pretty water background. I adhered foamtape on the white panel and filled my shaker with Sparkling clear sequins 3mm from Pretty pink posh and Blue sequins from Witte boekhandel (a Dutch store). I adhered the white panel on a red card. The sentiment is from the set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I stamped it below the shakerpart. Then I adhered the piggy onto the swimming pool and my card is done.

Goodmorning, today another Gerda Steiner designs post from me. Later today I will also post for the In the pink challenge blog. This month I am guest designing for Gerda Steiner designs. I have received the stampset Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I made 4 cards with it. This is number 3!

Mijn kaart van vandaag is toch wel mijn favoriet van de serie kaarten die ik heb gemaakt. Het was best wel wat werk, maar ik ben erg blij met het resultaat. Ik heb voor deze kaart een vrolijke zomers tafereeltje gemaakt met behulp van de stempels en een file uit de silhouette shop. Heel leuk om te doen!
Ik heb voor mijn kaart eerst de 2 vrouwelijke varkentjes en de strandbal van de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs gestempeld. Ik heb de afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden, de zwarte glaze pen en de Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stippen getekend op de bikini en het zwempak van de varkentjes. Vervolgens heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Ik heb een vierkant van wit karton gesneden met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 van Crealies. Hierop heb ik een achtergrond aangebracht met distress inkt. Ik heb voor het de grond de kleur Peeled paint gebruikt en voor de lucht de kleuren Tumbled glass en Broken china. Daarna heb ik met silhoutte en het snijbestand Miss Kate bear in pool van Miss Kate cuttables een zwembad, zon, 2 palmbomen, wolkjes en waterdruppels uitgesneden. Ik heb al die onderdelen gekleurd met distress inkt. Voor het zwembad heb ik de kleuren Picked raspberry en Festive berries gebruikt. Voor de grond vond ik Peeled paint erg mooi. Voor de zon heb ik de kleuren Mustard seed, Wild honey en Spiced marmelade. De waterdruppels en het water in het zwembad zijn gekleurd met Salty ocean. Voor de palmbomen heb ik Peeled paint, Vintage photo en Ground espresso gebruikt. De wolkjes zijn gekleurd met Tumbled glass. Ik heb alle delen op het witte vierkant geplakt. Voor bepaalde onderdelen heb ik foamtape gebruikt en zo is er een leuk zomers tafereeltje ontstaan op mijn kaart. Ik heb het vierkant met foamtape op een witte kaart geplakt. Op de zon en de zonnebril glazen heb ik Glossy accents aangebracht. Als ik weet voor wie ik de kaart ga gebruiken, stempel ik een tekst binnenin de kaart. Volgende week post ik kaart nummer 4 uit deze serie.

Today's card is my favorite from the set of cards that I made with the Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs. It was a lot of work, but I love the end result. I made a nice summer scene with the help of the pool piggies and a cut file from the Silhouette store. I really had fun making this card!
I started with stamping the female piggies and the beachball from the stamp set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and then I coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils, the black glaze pen and the Clear Spectrum noir sparkle pen and then I fussy cut the images. With a white gelpen I have drawn little dots on the bikini and the swimming suit. I have cut a large square from white cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 50 from Crealies. I made a background on it with distress inks. On the bottom of the sqaure I used Peeled paint and for the sky I used Tumbled glass and Broken china. 
Then I used the silhouette and the cutting file Miss Kate bear in pool from Miss Kate cuttables to cut a swimming pool, a sun, 2 palm trees, a couple of clouds and water droplets for my scene. I have coloured all these parts with distress ink. For the swimming pool I used the colours Picked raspberry and festive berries. The sun is coloured with Mustard seed, Wild honey and Spiced marmelade. The water parts are coloured with Salty ocean ink. I have coloured the palm trees with Vintage photo, Ground espresso and Peeled paint. On the clouds I used a little bit of Tumbled glass ink. I adhered all these parts together with the piggies on the sqaure. Some pieces are adhered directly on the sqaure and for other parts I used foamtape and that way I have gotte a nice little summer scene. I adhered the sqaure with foamtape on a white card. I applied glossy accents on the sun and the sunglasses. Once I know who is going to get this card, I will stamp my sentiment on the inside of the card. Next week I will be posting card 4 from this collection.

Mijn kaartje van vandaag is een eenvoudig kaartje, maar door het kleurwerk duurde het toch nog wel even om hem te maken. Op een stuk wit karton heb ik namelijk eerst allemaal zonnende varkentjes van de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs gestempeld en daarna heb ik, nadat ik het varkentje heb gemaskerd, de handdoeken op de kaart gestempeld. Ik heb vervolgens alle afbeeldingen ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Ik heb lekker veel vrolijke felle kleuren gebruikt, omdat dat zo perfect bij de zomer past. Ik heb het witte karton uitgestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 van Crealies. Ik heb het rechthoek met foamtape op een kraft kaart geplakt. Op een stukje zwart karton heb ik de tekst gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik de tekst geëmbost met witte embossing poeder. Ik heb de tekst in een bannervorm uitgeknipt en daarna heb ik met een witte gelpen een stiklijntje op de banner getekend.

My card from today is a pretty easy one, but because of all the colouring I had to do, it took a while to finish. On a piece of white cardstock I stamped a couple of sunbathing piggies from tehe stamp set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and then I masked the piggies and stamped the bath towels. I have coloured all images with my Polychromos pencils. I have used many bright happy colours to give the card a nice siummer feeling. I have die-cut the cardstock with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 52 from Crealies and then I adhered the rectangle with foamtape on a kraft card. On a piece of black cardstock I stamped the sentiment with Versamark ink and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I have cut the sentiment into a banner shape and then I added faux stitching with a white gelpen.

Guestdesigner Gerda Steiner designs - Pool piggies (part 1)

Goedemorgen, vandaag post ik een kaartje omdat ik weer guestdesigner mag zijn voor Gerda Steiner designs en zoals je al aan de titel van mijn blogpost kan zien, komt er binnenkort ook nog een vervolg. Ik heb de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs gekregen en daar heb ik in totaal 4 kaarten mee gemaakt. Vandaag post ik dus de eerste.

Goodmorning, today I am posting a card, because I was asked to be a guestdesigner for Gerda Steiner designs again and if you read the title of this blogpost, you will know that soon I will be posting  another post. I have received the stamp set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs and I made 4 cards in total. Today I am posting the first card.

Mijn eerste kaart is een spinnerkaart geworden. Ik heb het luchtbed en het lezende varkentje van de stempelset Pool piggies van Gerda Steiner designs allebei 2 keer gestempeld en daarna heb ik alles ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Het luchtbed heeft zowat dezelfde vorm aan beide kanten, dus die kon ik mooi met de achterkanten op elkaar plakken met een stukje visdraad er tussen.
Op een stuk wit karton heb ik een streepjespatroon gestempeld met de Pinstripe van My favorite things. Ik heb hiervoor real red inkt van Stampin up gebruikt. Ik heb een gat in het midden van het stuk streepjespapier gesneden met de Crea-nestlies XXL 33 & 34 van Crealies. Ik heb de cirkeldies gebruikt om een gat in de voorkant van een rode kaart te snijden en uit een stukje rood papier heb ik een cirkelframe gesneden. Ik heb de afbeelding aan het visdraad vastgeplakt aan de voorkant van de kaart en daarna heb ik het streepjespapier en het cirkelframe weer op de kaart geplakt. Je kunt nu de afbeelding opdraaien en zodra je deze loslaat gaat de afbeelding hard draaien.

My first card is a spinnercard. I stamped the air matress and the reading piggy from the set Pool piggies from Gerda Steiner designs twice and then I coloured all 4 images with my Polychromos pencils. The air matress had almost the same shape on both sides, so I could stick the images together on both back sides of the image. I adhered some fishing thread between the both images. I have adhered a piggy on each side of the matress images. On a aheet of white cardstock I stamped a stripey background with the Pinstripe from My favorite things with real red ink from Stampin up. I die-cut a hole and a square from the striped paper with the Crea-nestlies XXL 33 & 34 from Crealies. I used the circle dies again to cut a circle frame from red cardstock and to cut a aperture in the front panel of a red card. I adhered the fishing thread above and below the aperture and then I adhered the striped paper and the circle frame then on the front of the card. Now you can spin the image and if you let the image go, it will spin really hard.

Je kunt nu de afbeelding opdraaien en zodra je deze loslaat gaat de afbeelding hard draaien.

Now you can turn the image a couple of times and when you let the image ago, it will spin really hard.

Binnen in de kaart heb ik een vierkant van aquarel papier geplakt waar op ik met
Derwent inktense blocks een waterachtergrond heb gemaakt. Ik heb een aantal visjes uit de stempelset Lucky duck from Gerda Steiner designs gestempeld en deze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden. Ik heb ze in het water geplakt zodat het net lijkt alsof het varkentje lekker ligt te dobberen op de zee. ;)

Inside the card I adhered a square shape of watercolor paper. I made a wavy background on it with Derwent inktense blocks. I stamped a couple of fish from the stampset Lucky duck from Gerda Steiner designs and coloured those with my Polychromos pencils. I adhered them on the background, so it just looks like the piggy is floating in a sea. ;)

Fairytale challenge 173 - Beloved family

Goedemorgen, vandaag begint er weer een nieuwe challenge op het Fairytale challenge blog. Deze keer is de challenge Beloved family, je moet dus iets maken voor een geliefd familie lid. Ik heb voor deze challenge 2 kaarten gemaakt voor mijn neefjes Menno en Niek. Ze gingen namelijk op vakantie een tijdje geleden en ik wilde ze verrassen met wat vakantiegeld. Dat kan je natuurlijk zo geven, of je maakt er een leuk kaartje voor met een bijpassende envelop. De heren waren blij met hun geld en hebben er een auto en dinosaurus voor gekocht. ;)

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the Fairytale challenge blog. This time our challenge is Beloved family, so you have to make something special for a special someone in your family. I made 2 cards for this challenge for my little cousins Menno and Niek. A while ago they were going on vacation to Italy and I wanted to give them some pocket money. I decided to make a card and a matching envelope to give them the money. The boys were really happy and they bought a toy car and dinosaur. ;)

Ik heb voor beide kaartje gebruik gemaakt van de stempelset Beach day van Neat and tangled. Op het kaartje van Niek heb ik de neushoorn gebruikt. Nadat ik alle afbeeldingen heb gestempeld, heb ik ze ingekleurd met mijn Polychromos potloden en de black glaze pen. Vervolgens heb ik alle afbeeldingen uitgeknipt. Met de Borderlines trio Creative cuts van Mama elephant heb ik een strand en 2 randen met golven uit wit papier gestanst. Ik heb deze vervolgens gekleurd met Antique linen en faded jeans distress oxide inkt van Ranger. Op de golven heb ik ook nog eens extra effect aangebracht met het Curvy lines stencil van Create a smile stamps en wat water, maar dat zie je nauwelijks. Uit wit karton heb ik een rechthoek gestanst met de Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 van Crealies en hierop heb ik een wolkenachtergrond gemaakt met het Mini cloud edges stencil van My favorite things en Blue breeze dye inkt van My favorite things. Nadat ik alle afbeeldingen op het rechthoek heb geplakt heb ik deze op een rechthoek van rood karton geplakt en daarna is alles op een kraft kaart geplakt.

I used the stamp set Beach day from Neat and tangled. On Nieks card I decided to use the rhino stamp . After I stamped all images, I coloured them all with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. Then I have fussy cut all the images. With the Borderlines trio Creative cuts from Mama elephant I made a beach and 2 rows of waves. I coloured them with Antique linen and faded jeans distress oxide ink from Ranger. I added an extra accent on the waves with the Curvy lines stencil from Create a smile stamps and some water, but you can hardly see it. From white cardstock I cut a rectangle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 44 from Crealies and I made a cloudy background on it with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Blue breeze dye ink from My favorite things. After I adhered all the images on the rectangle, I adhered it on red cardstock and then I adhered everything on a kraft card. 

Ik had nog wat extra afbeeldingen gestempeld en die heb ik op de envelop geplakt. Met de Journaling alphas - Nice and neat dies van Neat and Tangled heb ik de naam van Niek uit rood karton gestanst en deze heb ik ook op de envelop geplakt.

I had some extra imges stamped and adhered those on the envelope. With the Journaling alphas - Nice and neat dies from Neat and Tangled I cut the name Niek from red cardstock and I adhered it on the envelope.

Op het kaartje van Menno heb ik de olifant uit de stempelset Beach day van Neat and tangled gebruikt. Ik heb verder alles hetzelfde gehouden op de indeling van de kaart na en deze keer heb ik geel karton gebruikt.  

On Menno's card I used the elephant from the stampset Beach day from Neat and tangled. I kept almost everything the same except for the layout and this time I used yellow cardstock.

Ook voor Menno heb ik de envelop versierd. Ik heb de naam Menno uit geel karton gesneden met de Journaling alphas - Nice and neat dies van Neat and Tangled.

For Menno I also decorated the envelope. I have cut his name from yellow cardstock with the Journaling alphas - Nice and neat dies from Neat and Tangled.
