Babykaartje

Hallo! Afgelopen weekend heb ik dit babykaartje gemaakt. De stempel is van High hopes en die heb ik ingekleurd met potloden. De afbeelding heb ik daarna uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. Op een rode kaart heb ik daarna met zwarte inkt de stippen gestempeld met de polka dots basics set van Papertrey ink. De tekst heb ik op de computer gemaakt en daarna geponst met de word window pons. Rondom de kaart heb ik nog wat zwart-wit bakerstwine gewikkeld.

Hello! Last weekend I made this babycard. The image is a stamp from High hopes and I coloured it with pencils. I cut the image with the oval nestabilities. With black ink I then stamped the dots on the red card. The dots are made with the polka dots basics set from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is computer generated and I punched it with the word window punch. I wrapped some black bakers twine around the card.

Ramon

Aanstaande dinsdag is mijn neef Ramon jarig en dus heb ik vandaag even een kaartje voor hem gemaakt. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de sketch van de Sketch saturday blog gevolgd. Ik heb voor mijn kaart een stempelafdrukje van High Hopes gebruikt. De giraf is ingekleurd met derwent kleurpotloden. Jaren geleden toen ik nog geen kaarten maakte, maakte ik altijd knuffels en popjes van stof. Op een dag toen waren met mijn moeder en tante aan het knutselen en ook Ramon zat erbij. Die ging toen wimpers maken voor de muizen en allerlei gekke dingen doen omdat het volgens hem een ordinaire muis moest worden. ;) Vandaar dat ik deze giraf ook een beetje heb toegetakeld met oogjes met hele lange wimpers en een snorretje. :) De oogjes zijn gemaakt met de stipjes die uit verschillende ponsjes vallen en de winpers en snor zijn gemaakt van een zakje met poppenhaar. Ik heb als basis een donkerbruine kaart gebruikt van Bazzil papier en ik heb op een stukje wit papier de streepjes achtergrond geprint. De driehoekjes in de hoek zijn gemaakt met een ponsje. De tekst van Elzybells is gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna heb ik er witte embossingpoeder overheen gedaan. De naam Ramon is gemaakt met het quickutz alfabet Rollerskate. De glaasjes zijn ponsjes en daar ben ik nog overheen gegaan met een clear spica glitter pen.

This Tuesday it is my cousin Ramon’s birthday and today I made him this card. For my card I used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday blog. I used a stamped image from High hopes for my card. I colored the giraffe with derwent pencils. Years ago when I didn’t make cards, I was always making dolls and stuffed animals. On one day I was crafting together with my mum and aunt and Ramon also decided to join our crafting session. He started making eyelashes for the mice we were making and he was doing all kinds of other stuff to make them really trashy ;). So I wanted to let the giraffe look a little bit like that. I gave him eyes with real long eyelashes and a moustache. The eyes were made from little punched dots and the moustache and eyelashes were made from dolls hair. :) As my base I used a dark brown cardstock from Bazzil. On a piece of white paper I printed the striped background. The triangles in the corner are made with a punch. The sentiment from Elzybells was stamped with Versamark ink and then I added white embossing powder. The name Ramon was made with the Rollerskate alphabet from Quickutz. The little glasses are punches and I colored them with a clear spica glitter pen.
