Tiddly Inks princess extravaganza sale!!

Vaderdagkaart

Hallo! Ik wilde nog even snel mijn tweede kaart posten die ik voor de Hobbyjournaal van deze maand heb gemaakt. Het is een vaderdagkaart geworden.

Hello! I wanted to post this card before I go to bed. This is the second card that I made for the utch magazine Hobbyjournaal. I have made father's day card.

De kaart heeft de vorm van een koffer. Ik heb de koffer gemaakt van kraft cardstock van Elzybells. Met de hand heb ik de witte stiklijn erop genaaid. De hengels heb ik apart gemaakt en deze zijn aan de binnenkant van de kaart vastgeplakt. Rondom het handvat heb ik een tag aan een kettinkje gehangen waarop de tekst geprint staat.

My card has the shape of a suitcase. I made the suitcase from kraft cardstock from Elzybells. I have handstitched the white line. I made the handles from a separate piece of kraft cardstock and I attached them on the inside. I have made a tag with the sentiment (for daddy) and I used a chain to attach it to the suitcase.

De koffer sluit met twee lintjes die rondom de koffer zitten. Ik heb met de quickutz gespjes gemaakt en hierop heb ik eerst bruine inkt gesmeerd en daarna liquid applique. Je kunt het lint gewoon van de kaart afschuiven aan beide kanten om zo de kaart te openen.

The suitcase closes with 2 ribbons that are wrapped around the suitcase. I used my quickutz to make 2 buckles from kraft paper. I made them darkbrown with ink and then I applied liquid applique on them. You can slide the ribbon from the card to open it.

En dit krijg je te zien als je de koffer openslaat. Het papier vouwt zich uit en daarop staat de afbeelding en tekst. Midden op een vel papier heb ik de afbeelding van de digi shack geplakt. Dad's day remote is een perfecte vaderdag afbeelding, want zit elke vader er niet zo bij? Rondom de afbeelding heb ik ook de tekst geprint. Ik heb met een zwarte fineliner eerst een ruitjespatroon op de stoel en de sloffen aangebracht en daarna heb ik de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden.

And this is what you will see when you will open the card. The paper folds out and on top of it I have printed my image and the sentiment. In the middle of a sheet of paper I printed the image from the Digishack. Dad's day remote is a perfect father's day image, because who doesn't have a father like this? I used a black fineliner to create the pattern on the chair and slippers and then I colored the image with my pencils.

Tiddly Inks - Annie's diploma

Goedeavond! Ook deze maand heb ik weer 2 kaartjes gemaakt voor de Hobbyjournaal en dit is de eerste van de kaartjes. Voor mijn kaartje heb ik deze geweldige afbeelding Annie's diploma van Tiddly Inks gebruikt. Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden en de ogen van Annie zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Ik heb de afbeelding uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. Rondom de rand heb ik gedoodled met een zwarte fineliner. Bovenin mijn kaartje heb ik een klein sneetje gemaakt voor een pop up van de tekst aan de binnenkant. Ik heb zwart streepjes papier als achtergrondpapier genomen en daarop heb ik een paar rekensommetjes, formules en andere dingen die met school te maken hebben geschreven met een zwarte fineliner. Om het sneetje bovenin de kaart te verbergen heb ik er zwart papier overheen geplakt dat geponst is met een fiskars randpons. 

Goodevening everyone! This month I was asked again to make 2 cards for the dutch magazine hobbyjournaal and this is the first card. I have used the very cute image Annie's diploma from Tiddly Inks. I have colored the image waith derwent pencils and the eyes of  Annie were colored with a black glaze pen. I have cut the image out with the oval nestabilities and I doodled on the edge of the oval with a black fineliner. I made a cut on the fold of the card for a popup with the sentiment on the inside of the card. I have used black striped paper for the background of my card. With a black fineliner I have written some things realted to school on the striped paper. To cover up the cut in the fold of the card I used black paper. I have embossed the black paper with a edge punch from Fiskars.

Ik was vergeten meteen een foto te maken van de binnenkant van de kaart en dat heb ik vandaag alsnog gedaan. De tekst is geprint op een stuk wit papier en daarna uitgesneden met mijn nestabilities. Het woord diploma is gemaakt met het olivia alfabet van quickutz. 

 

I had forgotten to make a picture of the inside of my card and so I did that today. The sentiment was printed (congratulations with your diploma) and then I cut it out with my nestabilities. The word diploma was made with the olivia alphabet from quickutz.

Dit is het kaartje dat ik heb gemaakt voor de bloghop. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Happy sailors. Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden. Met de zwarte glaze pen heb ik de oogjes van Molly en Timmy gekleurd. Ik heb de stippen op het zeil van het bootje wit gekleurd met een witte gelpen. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de rechthoekige nestabilities en langs de randen heb ik gedoodled met een blauwe fineliner. Als basis heb ik een kaart van donkerblauw papier genomen en daar heb ik een strip rood-wit gestreept papier op geplakt. Hieroverheen heb ik een donkerblauw lint geplakt met een strikje. Ook heb ik twee knopen toegevoegd. Langs de rand van de blauwe kaart heb ik met een witte gelpen een lijntje gedoodled. De tekst voeg ik later toe als ik weet aan wie ik mijn kaartje ga versturen.

This is the card that I made for the bloghop. The image that I used is is Happy sailors. I have colored the image with derwent pencils. I used a black glaze pen to color the eyes of Timmy and Molly. I have colored the dots on the sail of the boat white with a white gelpen. The image was cut out with the rectangle nestabilities and I doodled on the edges of the rectangle with a blue fineliner. I used a darkblue card for the base and added a piece of red-white striped paper on top of it. On top of that I used a blue ribbon and two white buttons. I will add the sentiment later when I know for who my card will be.

De binnenkant van mijn kaart heb ik ook versierd. Ik heb op een wit vierkant aan de onder- en bovenkant het streepjes patroon geprint en ook nog een keer de afbeelding van Molly en Timmy. Ook hier heb ik de afbeelding weer ingekleurd met derwent potloden.
Bedankt voor het langskomen! De volgende blog is van Marsha! Ik kan niet wachten tot ik de tijd heb om zelf alle blogs te bezoeken, maar dar wordt pas vrijdag want ik ben vanavond lekker naar de film met vriendinnen! :) Gelukkige huisvrouw here I come. ;)

I also decorated the inside of my card. On a white square I printed the striped pattern  and also the image of Molly and Timmy. I colored them again with derwent pencils.

Cadeau envelopjes

Goedemorgen allemaal! Afgelopen weekend heb ik deze cadeau envelopjes gemaakt voor als straks de examen uitslagen bekend zijn. Ik heb ze allemaal vrij simpel gehouden. De eerste 2 envelopjes zijn hetzelfde maar in 2 verschillende kleuren en met een verschillende sluiting. De envelopjes zijn gemaakt van zwart en paars ruitjes papier waarop ik de tekst geprint heb en er staan ook allemaal namen van schoolvakken op. De zwarte envelop sluit met een band van rood papier waarop een knoop vastzit.

Goodmorning everyone! I have made these money wallets in the past weekend. I thought it would be nice to make some money wallets for the graduation period. They are all very simple . The first 2 wallets are made from the same paper in 2 different colors. I have printed a pattern and on top of that the sentiment (Graduated? Congratulations). The black wallet closes with a strip of red paper that I wrapped around the wallet and I added a button on top of it.

De paarse envelop is helemaal hetzelfde als de zwarte, alleen heb ik hier nu een wit koordje omheen gebonden met een strikje, zodat hij goed dicht blijft zitten.

The purple wallet is exactly the same as the black one. The only difference is that I used a white cord, so the wallet stays closed.

Voor de derde cadeau envelop heb ik dezelfde kleuren en afbeelding gebruikt als voor mijn mannenkaart voor de laatste DU2DS challenge. De envelop is gemaakt van blauw papicolor papier. Hieroverheen heb ik een stripvan blauw-wit gestreept papier geplakt en daar weer overheen zit een strip waarop de tekst en een streepjeslijn zijn geprint. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Cheers van the Digishack en deze heb ik gekleurd met mijn potloden. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de vierkante nestabilities en rondom heb ik met een blauwe fineliner een streepjeslijn gezet. De envelop sluit met een stukje zelfklevend klitteband. Met een witte gelpen heb ik ook nog een stiklijntje boven en onder de streepjes achtergrond gezet. Je kunt het nauwelijks zien aan de onderkant want de envelop staat een beetje open.

I have used the same colors and image for my 3th wallet as for the card that I made for the last DU2DS challenge. The wallet was made from darkblue papicolor paper. I added a strip of lightblue striped paper on top of it and on top of that I added a strip with the sentiment (Congratulations on your graduation) and faux stitching. The image that I used is a digistamp Cheers from the Digishack and I colored it with my derwent pencils. The image was cut out with the square nestabilities. With a blue fineliner I have drawn faux stitching on the edges. The wallet closes with a piece of velcro. I used a white gelpen to draw the faux stitching on top and under the striped paper.

Tiddly inks 6 - Bring on the bling!

Goedemorgen allemaal! Zoals jullie kunnen zien heb ik mijn blog een nieuw jasje gegeven. Ik had nog steeds een sneeuwsterren achtergrond en hoewel de winter dit jaar erg lang duurde en heel veel sneeuw voor ons had, is het nu toch wel tijd voor iets anders. Het zal waarschijnlijk niet zo blijven, maar de sneeuwsterren zijn in ieder geval weg. :)
We zijn vandaag alweer toe aan de zesde challenge van Tiddly Inks en deze week is het een geweldig thema: Bring on the bling! We willen dus op je kaartje (naast de Tiddly inks afbeelding) glitter, en alles wat verder nog maar glimt, zien! Niet zo moeilijk, dus doe gezellig mee! Op mijn kaartje heb ik deze geweldig lieve afbeelding van Christy gebruikt. Treehugger is geinspireerd op de dochter van Christy die bomen ging knuffelen, toen ze in Yellowstone park waren, zo schattig! Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met mijn potloden en zoals altijd heb ik de oogjes nog eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen, zodat ze lekker sparkelen! In de boom heb ik bloemetjes/bloesem gehangen die ik heb geponst met een tang. Ook in het haar van het meisje hangt een bloemetje. In de hartjes van de bloemen heb ik hele kleine kristallen hotfix steentjes geplakt. De afbeelding is uitgesneden met de deckled nestabilities en hiervoor heb ik de out of the box with nestabilities techniek gebruikt die te vinden is op splitcoaststampers. Heel makkelijk om te doen! De tekst is gestempeld met de nederlandse tekststempels van Stamping Bella die je kan kopen bij cardart. Op mijn kaart heb ik een lichtrose stippen achtergrond gebruikt die ik heb gemaakt met behulp van de A bit washed collectie van Pink Petticoat. Hieroverheen heb ik een lintje en strik gebruikt. Op de knoop van het lint zit een grotere kristallen hotfix steen. Op het stipjes papier heb ik met medium kristallen hotfix steentjes een swirl gemaakt. Goodmorning everyone! As you can see I gave my blog a new look. I still was using my snowstars background and although we had a really long and cold winter, I thought it was time now for another look. I am not satisfied yet, but for now this look of my blog is ok. :) 
Today we are starting with already the 6th challenge on the Tiddly inks challenge blog and this week we have a fun theme: Bring on the bling. On your cards we want to see a tiddly inks image offcourse and glitter, sparkle, rhinestones etc. Not very difficult, so I hope you all win join the challenge. On my card I used this very cute image from Christy. Treehugger was drawn after a trip to Yellowstone park when Christy's daughter was hugging trees. So cute!  I have coloured the image with my pencils and as always I have colored the eyes with a black glaze pen for some extra sparkle! I added little flowers/blossom to the tree with flowers that were punched. In the middle of the flowers I added little chrystal hotfix stones. I also gave the girl a flower in her hair. The image was cut out with the deckled nestabilities. I used the Out of the box technique to cut the top of the tree. You can find it on Splitcoaststampers. So easy to do! The sentiment is from a set of Dutch sentiments from Stamping Bella. I have used a soft pink dotted background on my card that was made with the set A bit washed out from Pink Petticoat. I added a white ribbon and bow and on top of the knot I added a large chrystal hotfix. I used medium hotfix stones to create the swirl. Tiddly Inks - Hey cupcake

Goedemorgen allemaal. Genieten jullie ook allemaal van het heerlijke weer en het lange weekend. Ik wel hoor!  :) Dit kaartje heb ik al een hele tijd geleden gemaakt, maar ik was er nog nooit aan toegekomen om hem te posten op mijn blog. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is er één uit de Curly Q's serie  van Tiddly Inks en dit is de leuke Cheery Q. Ik heb de afbeelding ingekleurd met derwent potloden en daarna is ze uitgesneden met de ovalen nestabilities. Op het ovaal heb ik nog een paar paarse hotfix steentjes gebruikt. Het stipjespapier heb ik al een paar keer eerder gebruikt. Ik vind het zo'n leuke kleurencombinatie. De rand van het paarse papier is bewerkt met de dotted scallop randpons van EK Succes. De bloem is gemaakt met de floral ponsen van Nellie Snellen. Ik heb de tekst eerst geprint en daarna heb ik hem geponst met een kleine cirkelpons.

Goodmorning everyone! I love the beautiful weather we have overhere and today is also a holiday, so that is more fun! :) I made this card a while ago, but I never posted it. The image I used is one of the Curly Q's from Tiddly Inks and this is the lovely Cheery Q.  I have colored the image with derwent pencils and cut it out with the oval nestabilities. I added a couple of purple hotfix stones on the oval.  I have used the dotted paper a couple of times before. I love the color combination! The edge of the purple strip was punched with the dotted scallop border punch from EK Succes. The flower was made with the florap punches from Nellie Snellen. The sentiment was printed first and then I used a little circle punch to cut it out.

Softpencil challenge - Color challenge

Goedemorgen allemaal! Gisteren heb ik dit kaartje gemaakt voor de laatste challenge van Softpencil en deze keer is het een kleuren challenge. Je moet namelijk op je kaartje de primaire kleuren rood, geel en blauw gebruiken. De combinatie van deze kleuren is niet echt mijn ding, maar toen ik bij mijn softpencil afbeeldingen aan het kijken was en dit schatje met haar vlieger tegenkwam, kreeg ik toch een idee. De hoofdkleur van mijn kaart is rood geworden en in de afbeelding heb ik ook de andere kleuren verwerkt. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is Girl-kite-puppy en deze heb ik ingekleurd met mijn derwent potloden. De ogen van het meisje en de hond zijn gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. Met een witte gelpen heb ik stippen op de vlieger getekend. Onder de afbeelding heb ik ook de tekst geprint. Onder de afbeelding heb ik een strikje gemaakt met rood lint en daarop heb ik een witte knoop geplakt. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik met een zwarte fineliner een streepjeslijn getekend. Als basis heb ik een rode stippenkaart genomen. De bloemen zijn gemaakt met de retro ponsen en met een rode en witte fineliner heb ik er stipjes op getekend. In het midden van de bloem heb ik een zwart hotfix steentje geplaatst.

Goodmorning everyone! Yesterday I have made this card for the challenge from Softpencil and this time they have a color combination. They want you to use the primairy colors (red, yellow and blue) on your card. These colors are together not my favorite combination, but when I was looking through my softpencil images I found this cute image and then I got an idea. The image that I used is Girl-kite-puppy and I colored it with my pencils. The eyes of the girl and dog were colored with a black glaze pen and I used a white fineliner for the dots on the kite. I have printed my sentiment (congratulations) under the image. I added a bow from red ribbon and with a gluedot I attached a button on top of the bow. I have used a red dotted card as my base. The flowers were made with the retro punches and I used a red and white fineliner to draw dots on the flowers. I used a black hotfix stone in the middle of the flower.

DU2DS 038 - One for the boys

Goedemorgen allemaal! We hebben weer een nieuwe challenge van het Dare U 2 Digi Stamp blog en deze week willen we graag een mannen- of jongenskaart zien. Niet het makkelijkste onderwerp, en dus een echte uitdaging. Omdat het nu examentijd is en ik een paar geslaagd kaartjes nodig heb, heb ik besloten voor dit onderwerp een kaart te maken. De afbeelding die ik heb gebruikt is van de Digishack en ik vond hem perfect voor een geslaagd kaartje voor een jongen. Ik heb de afbeelding gekleurd met derwent potloden, nadat ik eerst de tekst bij de afbeelding heb verwijderd en daar de nederlandse tekst voor in de plaats heb getypt. Rondom de afbeelding heb ik met een blauwe fineliner een streepjeslijn gezet. Ik heb een stepcard gemaakt, ziet er misschien moeilijk uit, maar is eigenlijk heel eenvoudig om te maken. Voor de zijkanten heb ik lichtblauw gestreept papier genomen. Om het iets te versieren heb ik er een paar blauwe sterretjes. Op een kleine rechthoek heb ik nog de tekst gefeliciteerd geprint en daar heb ik ook nog een paar blauwe sterretjes onder geplakt, maar dat is niet te zien op de foto. De tekst geslaagd is gemaakt met het moxie alfabet van quickutz. Neem ook een kijkje op het Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge blog, want de anderen uit het design team hebben geweldige kaarten gemaakt.

Goodmorning everyone! We have a new challenge for you from the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp challenge blog and this week the theme is One for the boys, we want to see a card for a man or a boy. Not a really easy task, so it is was a real challenge for me. :) Over here the school exams just have begun and so I need a couple of graduation cards. The image I used on my card is from The digishack and I think it is perfect for a graduation card for a boy. I have colored the image with my derwent pencils after I removed the english sentiment and replaced it with a dutch sentiment (cheers mate!) With a blue fineliner I did the faux stitching on the edges. I have made stepcard, they may look hard to make, but they are really easy. I have used light blue striped paper for the sides of the card. I added a couple of dark blue stars to decorate the sides a bit. On a small rectangle I printed the sentiment (congratulations) and I also added a couple of stars on it (but you can't see that on my picture). The sentiment geslaagd (graduated) was made with the moxie alphabet from quickutz. Please take a look at the DU2DS challenge blog, because the others from the DT made awesome cards.

Tiddly inks 5 - No designer paper. Create your own design paper.

Goedemorgen allemaal! Wow de tijd vliegt, we zijn alweer toe aan een nieuwe Tiddly Inks challenge. Deze week hebben we een hele leuke challenge (dat vind ik tenminste ;) :). We willen namelijk geen design papier op je kaartje zien. :) Je mag wel zelf je eigen design papier maken met stempels of digitale afbeeldingen. Op mijn kaartje heb ik gebruik gemaakt van een digitale stempel uit de Avenger's serie, namelijk: Super stamper avenger. De afbeelding heb ik gekleurd met derwent potloden. De ogen van de avenger heb ik nog eens extra gekleurd met een zwarte glaze pen. De afbeelding heb ik daarna uitgesneden met de ronde nestabilities. Rondom de cirkel heb ik gedoodled met een zwarte fineliner. Voor de kaart heb ik het Strawberry fool cardstock van Elzybells gebruikt. Hierop heb ik een vlak wit papier geplakt waarop ik mijn eigen achtergrond heb gestempeld met stempels uit een setje van Stampendous. Deze stempelset is bedoeld voor school/leraren, maar er zitten genoeg afbeeldingen in die goed bij de Super stamper passen. Ook deze afbeeldingen zijn gekleurd met derwent potloden.De tekst komt uit een stempelset van Elzybells en deze is geponst met een tagpons van Martha Stewart. De tag is met een ringetje aan een strikje van wit lint bevestigd.

Wow time flies. it is already time for a new challenge from Tiddly inks and this week we have a fun challenge! This week we don't want to see design paper on your card. :) Instead you have to make your own design paper with stamps or digital stamps.On my card I have used this cute stamp from the Avenger series: Super stamper avenger. I have colored the image with my pencils and the eyes were colored with a black glaze pen. The image was cut out with the circle nestabilities. I doodled on the edge of the circle with my black fineliner. I have used the strawberry fool cardstock from Elzybells for the card. On the white paper  I stamped all the craft tools. They are from a stamp set from Stampendous and it is actually for school/teachers, but I thought it was also perfect for Super stamper. These little images are also colored with my pencils. The sentiment was stamped with a stamp set from Elzybells and I punched it with a tag punch from Martha Stewart. The tag was attached to a bow from white ribbon with a little ring.
