This is my entry for the Bee crafty challenge, a bookmark. I love reading and I love personalised bookmarks, so I really wanted to enter this challenge. I used the lovely freebie that Merrigan is offering on her blog of the stack of books and I used the sweet seated boy. I won this image on a previous Bee crafty challenge. :) I coloured the boy with pencils and cut him out. I embossed the white paper with a stencils from Crealies and I used the stencil to add the ink on the embossed parts. The corners were rounded with a punch. I added a name that I made with the olivia alphabet from quickutz. I used a white gelpen for some highlights on the letters.
IMAGE: Seated boy and stack of books from Bee crafty. CS: White cs, darkblue cs. INK: Versamagic Night sky. ACCESSORIES: Derwent pencils, blue gingham ribbon, corner rounder punch, CL BE 07 from Crealies, olivia alphabet from quickutz, white gelpen, black glaze pen.
Super bookmark! Love the design and how well you've combined the two images, great to see your prize used here too!. Thanks for joining in the Bee Crafty Challenge :)
