Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog. and this time we are being sponsored by Polkadoodles. This time we want to know if you prefer to make birthday cards for men or women. Most of the times I make birthday cards for women, but for this challenge I decided to make a birthday card for a little man. Today my nephew is celebrating his 9th birthday and that is why I needed to make a card for him. And because his birthday cannot be celebrated in a normal way because of covid, I have decided to send him 9 birthday cards this year. I have used a couple of older cards and also made hime some new cards. I hope he still will enjoy his birthday today.
Menno is celebrating his 9th birthday and I have made a card with the digital 9 stamp from the set Numbears from Lili of the valley. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. I have paperpieced the big 9 with striped patterned paper from the Surprise party paperpack from Sunny studio. Then I have fussy cut the image. With the Grassy hills die-namics from My favorite things I have die-cut a grass border from green patterned paper from the Polka-dot parade paperpack from Sunny studio. On white cardstock I have made a cloudy background with the Mini cloud edges stencil from My favorite things and Tumbled glass distress ink. With a black fineliner I doodled a line around the edges of the white cardstock. I have glued the white cardstock together with the grass border on a kraft card. I have glued the image with foamtape on the card. From a sheet of patterned paper from the Surprise party paperpack from Sunny studio I have fussy cut 2 banners and I glued those on the card.
