As you like it 120 - Bag or box (non card) and why

Goodmorning, today a new challenge starts on the As you like it challenge blog and it our last challenge for this year. After this challenge we have a little christmas break, but we will be back in 2018! Today our challenge is to make a box or bag and you have to tell why you prefer to make one of those. I love making both, but most of the times I prefer making boxes. I love that you can make the perfect size box for a little present you have. I really love decorating boxes.

For todays challenge I decided to wrap a delicious caramel seasalt chocolate bar from Tony Chocolonely in a nice box. Because who doesn't love chocolate? And chocolate in a nice decorated box is even better I think. ;) I have made the box from red cardstock and then I decorated it with a nice image from a sweet little bear. I have used several images from the stampset Christmas bear from Reverse confetti. After I stamped the images, I coloured them with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen. With a white gelpen I added some accents on some of the images and then I have fussy cut them all. With the Crea-nest-lies XXL 49 from Crealies I have die-cut a circle from white cardstock and I made a background for the images on it with Brushed corduroy and Scattered straw distress ink. From green cardstock I have die-cut a scalloped circle with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 53 from Crealies. I adhered the circles on top of each other and then I adhered them on the red box. I adhered the images with foamtape on the circle. I have decorated the christmas tree with red hotfix gems. The sentiment is also from the stampset Christmas bear from Reverse confetti. I have stamped it on a strip of white cardstock that I have cut with the Stripped die collection from Clearly besotted. I adhered the strip on green cardstock and the I placed it on the bottom of the box. I still had some images left over and placed those on top of the strip with the sentiment.
