Tiddly inks challenge 194 - Kapow

Goodmorning, today the new challenge starts on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and the challenge this time is Kapow. We want to see superhero's on your card. Today is also day 1 from the 30-day colouring challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin! So much fun! I am looking forward to it. :)
I made a birthday card with the image My batty hero from Tiddly Inks. I have coloured the image with my Polychromos pencils and the black glaze pen and then I fussy cut the image. From white cardstock I cut a large square with the Crea-nest-lies XXL 34 from Crealies and then I made a sunset on it with wild honey, carved pumpkin, candied apple, seedless preserves and blueprint sketch distress ink. I wasn't satisfied at first, because some of my inks were really wet. Bu after I cut the city sjyline from black cardstock with the silhouette and I adhered it on top of the sunset, I really liked it. I used the file City buildings from StudioIlustrado for the city skyline. I stamped a sentiment from the set Birthday wishes & balloons from My favorite things with versamark ink on the background and then I embossed it with white embossingpowder. I decorated the card with a couple of silver star sequins.
