Babykaartjes

Last saturday my cousin became the father of a cute baby girl Uma. So I had to make him a card. :) I also got the request to make a card for someone who is pregnant. I made them both the same card, I only used different colours. I made pink card for Uma and for the pregnancy card I made a neutral green card. I used a model of a card that I used earlier for a christmas card. This time I used a baby image from Elzybells. The bear was coloured with derwent pencils. I printed the gingham background on a white cardI have cut the circle frame with my nestabilities. The white circle was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder. I have added some white embossed floers on the frame. In the middle of the flowers I added a drop of Marabu effect-liner. It is a sort of 3-d paint. I have had it for years and finally I could use it on a card. :)

I made a pocket on the inside of the card. I cut a hole in the card with the nestabilities and I added a frame around it. Behind the aperture I placed a little bag with a pair of babysocks in it. I added a tiny bow in a matching colour in the bags. The sentiment in the green card was printed and cut out with the Stampin up word window punch. I have added the name Uma on the fron of the pink card. I used the quickutz phoebe alphabet for that.
