Tulp

Yesterday evening I made this card. The sketch is from Truly scrumptious, but you also had to use black and white and one other colour, but I used two colours. I just liked the sketch and wanted to use it anyway. The beautiful tulip is a digital image from Softpencil. I coloured the tulip with derwent pencils and after the coloruing I cut it out with the circle nestabilities. The white square was embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. I printed the red stripes on a white card. On the red paper I added some black cabochons. The sentiment (happy birthday) was computer generated.

IMAGE: Tulip from Softpencil. CS: White cs, black and red papicolor paper. ACCESSORIES: Derwent pencils, black satin ribbon, hotfix cabochons, swiss dots embossing folder.

This really is a beautiful sketch!  I love how striking the red/black/white is, too!  Your coloring is fabulous!
